But I tried just one more time ( i didn't want to seem weird and keep trying) and he let me follow him. So his friend told me that after that happened he found out i liked him. I'd consider us close friends, we sit at the same lunch table. He's always offering me if I want a ride. Of course I say yes. We text all the time. He can be a bit of a but hole at times. Sometimes he says something stupid and I punch a weak little punch, and he makes fun of me. Always stepping on my shoes in the hallways. He also calls me midget. I told him I liked him when he kept asking me who I liked. I said it could be nothing serious because he's SPL and we work together. He replied cute but never said if he liked me. He said he's never had a crush and I'm calling bs. People say he's flirting. We are total opposites he's grumpy and I'm happy. What I didn't know was he was living with someone, when I found out I broke it off and there was a big blowup because she found out about me. He eventually married her, then got hurt physically and she left him emotionally after he got hurt and come to find out she never got over what happened with me and kept throwing it up so he walked out. We found each other again about a year after he got hurt, kind of a serendipidous 'sp' way it happened...anyway, when we saw one another all the feelings rushed back and we've spent a little time together. At first he called me and texted me a lot, then that nearly stopped, but he asked me to wait, to give him time to get healed and get his life in order. He contacts me now and then to reassure me he hasn't left me, his exact words, and to tell me in time we'll be okay. He's even given me a bunch of songs to express how he feels. But he's out with friends at times partying, other than that, I have no idea what he does...he can't work now. It's the little to no contact that bothers me. Am I being petty and impatient or do you think he's playing me? |

We just joined in August, and this is the first time he seen her since the week leave after basic. So she came down for the weekend. And on Friday night he dressed up in a suit and tie to take her out. I asked where they went and he said they saw a movie and then went to seafood restaurant (local seafood place, it's kind of nice but not super nice. Maybe on the lines of Red Lobster I guess.) This morning he left for another date and this time he was wearing a suit and tie again. I asked where they were going and he said they were going driving and then they would have lunch someplace and he was going to go to a play in town. I said you don't need to wear a suit and tie for that. And he said "When you have a special lady, you make a special effort." with a kind of grin on his face. I'm thinking this is kind of overkill. |

We don't want any big fancy wedding and we're honestly very eager to start our lives together. The first problem is we've been wanting kids, (or at least I think he does) but due to complications, I will need to go into surgery before that can happen. However, before this, he engaged in sex one night and it was as if the only reason he did this was because he thought I only wanted kids and it was meaningless which left me feeling terrible after. On top of that I've been trying to do things with him like paint and go out to breakfast; just couple things, but he only seems interested in staying home and something just feels off. I know he's not the sort to cheat at all, but I also feel like I'm doing something wrong. I talked to him and told him after we found out about me needing surgery that I wanted to focus on us more and worry less about kids and sex after I tried showing him houses I found where we could raise families together and he seemed totally uninterested. Everytime I try to talk to him it seems to make me feel worse. I asked if he wanted to go on a weekend trip together somewhere and all he said was, "I don't know," which made me feel like he doesn't even care. I've known her for over a year and we have been really good friends ever since the day we met. We have so much in common and every time we hang out it is a lot of fun. The 6 year age difference does not bother me at all. I've met her parents on multiple occasions and they are completely ok with us talking/hanging out, they are very welcoming whenever I'm around and it is honestly a great feeling because I feel like normally parents would do the opposite. Anyway, I will be finishing my last year of college this year and she will be graduating high school and be heading to college in the fall while I look for a job. I plan to remain just friends for now at least until she finishes high school, but definitely interested in a relationship in the future. My friends are cool about it when I mention it but at first they asked why I don't just find someone a bit older while I'm at school. I can honestly say that when I talk to girls at school (with a completely open mind) none of them seem to click with me the way this girl has. My question is if we do end up dating at some point in the near future, would that relationship be doomed to fail? I didn't expect to see her there since she doesn't usually go to football games, but she was there. She looked me in the eye and tried to walk past me, but I caught her. I gave her a hug and she said she had to use the restroom so I let her go thinking I would talk to her afterwards. After the game she texted me goodbye, and that she would love to have talked, but she had to use the restroom and her back and hip were bothering her because of dance. I think she was just making up excuses to not talk. She got defensive when I texted her that😂. What does this mean? Does she still like me or does she really want nothing to do with me? She did tell me she still wanted me when we broke up, but that was months ago so I have no idea if she still feels that way, especially after what happened at the game. |

Posted: 16 Oct 2016 06:59 PM PDT I developed a crush on my manager because he flirted with me by staring, locking eyes,winking,touching,finding excuses to talk to me,and handling unpleasant chores so I wouldn't have to,all of which he did not do for anyone else. He also gets really jealous when male co-workers speak to me and will either find excuses to get me away from them or sit there with us to supervise the interactions. Co-workers got jealous& are being jerks to me. So much so HR heard they were being jerks and offered me a transfer, which I declined.and when my crush found out he got really happy and began pursuing me even more.We had a group activity to bond with team members and he spent most of the day with me then when co-workers gave us the evil eye he dropped the bomb he has a girlfriend, which he brought to his boss' birthday party where we were all invited. He introduced her to everyone but to me and I avoided them throughout the party. He did not touch this girl all night,not even to walk with her and she looks like one of his FB friends who is married. So I wondered if he brought a friend to diffuse rumors of he and I so he can pursue me or what is going on. I am so confused and am not sure how to handle this. I've only dated once, and that only lasted 3 months and I cut it because it was a really toxic relationship. I felt like I really liked her but I didn't, I think I just wanted a girlfriend because I never had one. And I'm kinda feeling lonely again. I know how to deal with being alone, I've been alone and independent for pretty much my whole life. It's just I wish I had someone to tackle life with. I have all the good qualities of being a good boyfriend but something just isn't there. I don't know if I'm lazy, or I don't know how to put myself out there in a more than friends way, or what. I also think I'm far mature past my grade level and the girls in it. But too young still for older girls. I got into partying and stuff at an early age but I'm kinda out growing that now, I have goals and things I'm striving for, and now it seems everyone is getting into the party phase. I just feel some girls are really immature for me. I don't know what to do, I feel like I could be getting any girl I want. I have good grades, job, goals, and I'm fairly good looking. We both agreed we wanted to take things super slow, met online. While talking, things were great, messaging every day, video chat and calls happened often. During video chats, she displayed signs that made me think she was into me, and outwardly saying things that made it seem she really wanted to meet me in person soon. Then all of a sudden, she got real quiet. The past two weekends and last week, I was lucky if I even got a text once in a day. I mentioned our conversation was getting pretty light, and sent a couple of funny memes to see if I could brighten her day, as I know she gets pretty busy with her kids. But she never even opened the messages. Found out she was posting pictures and answering comments while she was not responding to me, so I sent a message explaining that I had kept some information a secret, like the fact that I am currently deployed, and that I understand if she doesn't want to talk to me, because I kept that information from her. She opened the text yesterday, still hasn't responded at all, but has looked at the pictures I have posted on an app we were using to talk...Is she just busy, or is she intentionally ignoring me, hoping I get the hint out of nowhere and just delete her so she doesn't look like she is being rude? |

Posted: 16 Oct 2016 06:56 PM PDT Our siblings were best friends and our families have been close for almost 20 years. when they moved away, our families still took trips together/hungout. They came back a few years ago, and we're like family to one another. I've met his entire family (aunts/uncles, grandparents, cousins) and they love me so much so they will hug/kiss me every time i see them. We even spend holidays together and have family BBQ's. For years ever since early childhood, I knew that i had a crush on him, but over time it developed into something more. Even when i would always deny it, and not even look at him in school my friends would all say that i was completely under his spell.we were always very close, and would watch out for each other, and also make each others lives a living hell, but i fell him even more so. Since he moved back he became friends with the popular crowd and he had completely changed around them at least, but he was still the lovable person i had known years prior. Our families are even always saying how we'll married one day, and always leaving hints about us to one another. But recently I found out that he was with this one girl i have disliked for as long as i could remember (either sex or dating: idk) . Now i have no idea how to get over him. I've always told myself to get over him and tricked myself for a few days, and ultimately failed at that. And as long as our families stay so close and me constantly being at his house, i dont know how this will be possible. |
