Well, I snapped her on Sunday / Monday and she opened them but didn't respond. Same thing happened on Wednesday. I texted her telling her I hope she had a good Wednesday, and she responded with "thanks, you too". I then texted her "thanks" and "I hope I'm not being nosey, but is everything okay?" And she said, "Yeah, everything's fine!" And that's it. Usually she sends paragraph texts, emojis, etc. She's super communicative, laughs at stuff by literally typing out HAHAHAHA, etc. I also messaged her a meme on Insta and she looked at it but didn't respond. I snapped her again today, and again, she opened it but didn't respond. In the summer we had a huge snap streak going on, but I broke it because something happened to my phone...This time she broke our huge streak and didn't seem to care. She works with my brother, and he said she mentioned something about being too tired to respond. Today she posted a selfie on Insta. I get it...people get busy. They do... But this is unlike her. She has told me she gets annoyed when her boyfriend is on social media but isn't responding to her texts, etc. Am I reading into things? I don't want to annoy her again by continually asking. I'm tired of being seen as annoying by people but because they don't want to hurt my feelings, they don't tell me. I don't want to be friends with people who don't want to be friends with me. I had friends, a social life, etc. That is why I am so frustrated, because I know it is in me to want to be social and have friends, but for some reaoson since college I prefer to stay in my dorm 24/7, not talk to anyone, and then go home on the weekends.It is crazy because I used to never be home, I was always out partying and getting into trouble all the time. My so called "friends" were nothing more than party friends and we never talk anymore. It is almost like I am just tired or people and like I don't feel worthy enough to have friends. I tell myself all the time I should hit up one of the girls I met in class or try to figure out what to do one the weekends, but its like the thought of people wanting to be my friend is so absurd to me that I talk myself out of contacting anyone every time. In a way it is good that I am not partying anymore, but at least I was making memories with other people, and not just wasting life by myself.... Why do I feel this way? |

I would never talk **** about someone i dont know. a week after that some kid in my grade came up to me and slapped me, when i asked him why he slapped me he spit in my face. I punched him in the face and he started swinging on me and the teachers broke it up. My roommate invited me to his family's house for Thanksgiving for three days. In foster care I have been with foster families where on day one I was cutting the grass, and in other foster families where my only chores was picking up after myself and doing my homework, but most were in between. Another thing is the guy who invited me is my roommate but its not like we're best friends. I think the only reason he invited me is because he feels sorry for me and because he wants someone to split the gas money with. I asked him if he wants me to chip in for meals and he said only for meals out but you'll be my guest when we eat with the family so they'll be no charge. But what if we go out and his folks offer to pay? Do I say thanks and accept it or insist to pay for my own food too? I'm also afraid bc we arnt tight he might hook up with his old friends and not want me to come along and then I'll be at the hose in a town where there's nothing to do without a car stuck with his parents and kid sister who I have never met feeling like a 5th wheel. I know SOME things I'm not supposed to do. It's not my house so I don't just go to the fridge and open it up and eat their food. So am I like supposed to bring along sodas and snacks in case I get thirsty or hungry between meals? Do I offer to help do the dishes or the housework like vacuuming? |

The last thing I want to do is hurt anyone's feelings that's why I make sure the person never hears it and they never ever did hear it .. And we've been doing that for about 16 years now.. We've been friends since we were in preschool . But every time we see a flat chested woman we always say "damn the tïtty thief struck again" or "guard your breasts because it's a god damn tîtty thief on the loose" or well say something stupid like "damn somebody went and stole her tîtties"! Same way when we see a girl with a flat butt we always say it's a gluteus Maximus thief around, or we say something stupid like "PANCAKE ALERT"!! She'd been ditched by her friends and her phone was dead, so I ended up giving her a ride home, and her Mom treated me like some kind of hero, and later asked if I was interested in babysitting. So now I see her all the time. We became good friends. She opens up to me now, talking to me about school and boys and asking for advice on stuff that I don't think she talks to her Mom about, asking me not to tell her, like how she wants to go to Planned Parenthood...still not sure if I should break my promise on that or not. Cause she really trusts me now. Sometimes she falls asleep on my shoulder or calls me late at night. Like we talk as much as I do with some of my closest friends now, and when I mentioned her to my cousin, he misunderstood at first, and was like "Who's Hannah, huh? You gettin' some?" And I was like "Dude....no." Yeah don't worry it's nothing like that, like I don't think she has a crush on me or wants to date me or anything. Sometimes she'll come downstairs in her towel, or ask me what I think of certain outfits, but she's got a boyfriend. (Or whatever you'd call it at that age.) I didn't dorm last year so I didn't have a chance but this year I'm in the dorms. It's been extremely hard trying to make friends as I am an introverted girl and so I joined clubs and starting talking to some people in classes. But some people that I talk to are introverted like me but there's this one person who seems to be exactly like me and I would like to be friends not just in the classroom but hang out too... We're in the same english class and we dont only talk about the class but also about other things. (Just to clarify i'm a girl just trying to make friends). We exchanged numbers and added each other on facebook but she lives in an apartment which is 30 minutes away. I cant understand what to think about, what to feel, how to behave. Especially when living in such a police state like australia. I have some instinctical behavoir in memory, but no one else here behaves like that. People too open, boring, friendly biorobots who dont have a sense of personal space. I am also used to different type of communication, self-expression and friends. I speak only to friends. I communicate only to people I like. If someone being not my friend touches me - I smash his face. If someone jokes with me - I smash his face. It is not possible to live in Australia since every dirty redneck is trying to touch me or talk to me. I dont even leave my house for 2 years because i cant even legally fight back. Also I am used to absord communicative information every second... I cant absord any info from eath environments other than how it looks. I dont get a respond from it. I cant "talk" to environments like i can talk to website . But i when walking still have to see those yellow soil and trees, have to see continiously and not getting any communicattion info. Just being absoltely alone. I feel disconnected. I feel. I cant connect to the world, I am away from server, instead i am just pointlessly doing something that has no impact on the time line and wont be saved anywhere. Physical movements are not needed anymore since I can be anywhere in the earth. Being away from internet is bullshit. |

Posted: 21 Oct 2016 02:09 PM PDT I work being your typical wage slave, and it upsets me because whenever I get off work my friends want to hang out and family wants to do stuff, but I'm simply too exhausted. Then I tell them that and they get angry at me over it but they don't understand working 12 hour shifts every day in a factory. Advice? |
| Question: Ideas for prank revenge on friend who threw sauce at me during lunch? Posted: 21 Oct 2016 02:02 PM PDT Ok so my friend flung an open packet of sauce right to my face and it got ALL over me during lunch at school. It was pretty embarassing walking all the way to the bathroom having to pass throught the swarms of people that were laughing at me. I was wondering if anyone had any sugestions at how i could get back at her. I was thinking maybe like get a bottle of glitter and empty it on her head in lunch, something like that. |

| Question: Parents are a "bit" mad.? Posted: 21 Oct 2016 01:40 PM PDT okie dokie, so i gotta online friend, and we were gonna meet up.. But um things got a bit confusing. So little did we know that this friend I had for 3 YEARS lives only 15 minutes away. Me and my friend were gonna walk to his house n' stuff after school, however my friend winded up not being at school, so it was just me. I told him to go to my house, or walk to it. But um, he couldn't. Because he couldn't figure out his way. So, now I asked my parents. They continued saying no. As I told them, he's literally 14, 1 year old than me. And said they don't trust boys "In my room." So i was like damn huh. Not all people tryin to rape me. So they finally agreed, and i was like yaaay. However, I feel SO bad for this kid. My parents kept changing their mind, which led him to walking back and fourth from this kids house and a supermarket we were gonna meet at. So finally, when my parents made up their finale choice, he said he was too tired, and we literally spent an hour figuring this out, so he told me.. Maybe another time I guess, when we plan things more clearly. So I was like kk. But when my parents drived me, he wasn't there and they where screaming at me, and I told them "The poor kid was standing there for an hour and a half, because you couldn't decide." And they basically took all my electronics away. Um, weird story ay, so y'know.. Um what should I do? -Kendle |

I'm not sure if my mom would usually have a problem with me going, but she found an empty bear bottle under my bed maybe like 2 weeks ago, and now she's SUPER suspicious with me. Now the group we wanna go in is like 12 people but let's get down to the core group and let me give u the details here. Okay so me and 3/ 5 core group's parents are V good friends (they got a group chat and everything). Basically the other 2 will get shitfaced, and they're all gonna sleep ova my house after so my mom CANNOT know that they were drinking. But now that I'm typing this out I realize this plan ******* sucks man. Anywho if I'm super careful, do u think I can get away with this? |

| Question: How to confront a friend about abandoning me after getting a boyfriend? Posted: 21 Oct 2016 01:20 PM PDT My best friend and I used to hang out once or twice a week and used to text practically every day all last year and over the summer (we've been best friends for 5 years). This fall (we're sophomores in college), she got a boyfriend, and has totally dropped off the face of the earth. I haven't hung out with her in 5 weeks and she's only texted me twice over the course of those 5 weeks. I've asked her to hang out like 3+ times and each time have been met with a no. Basically, suddenly I'm the only one initiating any contact. I understand someone will get busier if they have a significant other and I can understand her disappearing for like 2 or so weeks. After 2 weeks, I 'confronted' her kindly and just told her I miss hanging out with her. She seemed to take it well enough and said she does too, but we still haven't seen each other. Now, I want to have a REAL conversation about it, because I feel really abandoned and don't have that many friends (so for my best friend to just seemingly stop caring about me is a big deal). What should I text her to initiate a conversation about this? Because I've been nice about it so far and tried to make plans with her, I feel like it's appropriate to just ask her straightforward, "So, are we still friends or...?" Anyone have any advice or suggestions? This has been really hard on me and I know you can't make someone care, but I want to let her to know I'm feeling this way and give her the chance to make amends if she really does care. On my 20th birthday party, she even left super early to hang out with him even though he told her "don't worry about it, you can spend time with your friends". That was 6 weeks ago. |

I feel the need to always be doing stuff and to be around people. Im also in marching band, where I am with others for hundreds of hours. Otherwise, outside of school I don't do much except for hanging with (usually only one) friend sometimes. What would you describe my social life to be like? Do you think it's ok to be like this in high school and wait until college to hang out with others more often? |

Posted: 21 Oct 2016 12:04 PM PDT The teacher heard it and sent him to the office, but he is in MY group of friends, and we don't really accept him because he is a drug dealer, and we don't want to get caught up in stupid pointless drama because of him. Because of us not accepting him he doesn't care much for us, but for some reason he still tries to talk to us and hang around us. I'm worried that because of how we act towards him, if he does shoot up the school we will be first. When he threatened to shoot the place up, he only specified one person he'd like to shoot, and the SAME GUY HEARD HIM TALKING! The drug dealer saw him staring over at him and said "imma make your black *** look like cottage cheese". What should I do? The office must know about it if the teacher sent him down, so there's no point in tell anyone, because they already know. But it worries me that if he decides to do something horrible, our group of friends will be his main target, besides the football player. Any suggestions? |

I have social anxiety, and i take meds for it. ever since i ve been on the meds, i haven t felt as nervous talking to people. what really bothers me is that i still don t go out of my way to talk to someone first. if people make an effort to talk to me, i don t really go out of my way to make an effort to talk to speak to them again. it s not like i m willing to not talk to people altogether, because i do; if someone talks to me, i ll keep the conversation going. i just don t really have the energy to initiate conversation. the people i do talk to, my friends, are people i ve known for a long time. This all just really bothers me because i want to make new friends, but at the same time i don t feel like going out of my way to talk to people. i m sure this rant probably makes me seem like a *****, and maybe i am. i m just wondering- is all of this due to social anxiety, intrivertedness, shyness, or is this abnormal? |

I texted him earlier in the day asking them about something for our one class but he didn't answer he wasn't in school today and my friend told me about the post after I texted him on the bus today during our field trip I tried calling him but there was no answer and texting them but there was no answer I'm kind of worried what do I do?
