No matter what I do I just don't seem worthy of anyone and I'm just tired of always being the one that's finning for friends or just someone to at least pay me a little attention and just talk to me. I just think that I'm meant to be alone honestly even when I was in highschool people just ignore me no matter how I tried to start a conversation with someone. I even used to sit by myself at lunch because everytime I sat down at the table with someone they just get up and leave and I'm left there alone again as usual. I just think there's something wrong with me I'm just not meant be happy or at least have someone by my side. I get so jealous when I hear that people have friends and someone they can go to a concert with go to the mall or something I never had that before. I ll compliment her on her outfit, hair, etc. We have the same group of friends and whenever I d invite her to come to a church group or some club I was in, she would always show up. Every once in a while I ll notice some dirty look she ll give me, but then she is totally nice to me like we ve been friends forever. So I assumed I was just imagining the glares and making it all up in my head. But then the other day she went up to a group of our friends and told them that I annoyed the crap out of her and she can t stand me. I'm only 23 years old and have been working at my workplace for one year. There is this boss level person in his forties who is a major jokester, even in the workplace he doesn't work and just talks with people the entire time. My coworker was going to go to lunch with the bosses and some others for lunch and I was invited too, so I thought it might be a good opportunity to go to lunch with these people. At lunch, I was just sitting there and minding my business, then suddenly the waitress brought a birthday cake with a candle and said I was the birthday boy. My birthday is nowhere near this time and they all know it. That boss told the waitress that it was my birthday just to be funny. I felt so embarrassed and put on the spot in front of all those people. That's not a mature and professional way to act at work. Maybe I'm a easy target because I'm young and new compared to others. I'm also quiet, but so are others.. I tried brushing the birthday thing off by sliding it to the 50 year old next to me and say it was his birthday but it got pushed back to me and it was basically eight people vs me. My close friend/coworker was there too but he was just quietly watching. The next day at work someone from the lunch said "what's up birthday boy" and that boss told people they missed my birthday. I am a very hard worker and I want to be taken seriously in the workplace, not be made a laughing stock... No it wasn't for a work anniversary. I estimated "one year". I like that they care, but it's getting overboard now. I'm almost 13. My friend, (who had been to my house before, and met my parents) invited me over to her house. I asked my mom, who said no because she thought it was dangerous. I tried reasoning with her in it, and she got very angry. She hit me, and made me sit down and listen or hours of her rambling on and on. She said that she doesn't trust my friend basically, that she asked me what I would do if I arrived at my friends house and her parents tried giving me drugs or something. She said, what if my friends parents shoot me or kidnap me or hurt me. I tried telling her my friend would never do that, and that there are other friends at the party, but she refused. Posted: 15 Oct 2016 12:59 PM PDT My fiance and her roommate/best friend were going shopping Friday afternoon (pre planned) for an end of summer clearance sale. I came home at lunch yesterday and my fiance yells out asking me to wait outside her bedroom while they "finish getting dressed". Apparently they claim they were trying on clothes and swimsuits to figure out what to throw away and what to buy before going shopping. They also were trying on some of each other's throw aways before throwing them away. But all I know is they were both more or less fully nude in my fiance's bedroom. They both acted natural, like this was no big deal. I didn't hear or sense anything odd going on, and neither have ever seemed to have any homosexual signs/tells, and the roommate does have a very serious boyfriend. I want to believe them but I cant imagine trying on swimsuits in the same room as my best friend. It just seems odd. Yet they were very calm like this is normal/natural. | Posted: 15 Oct 2016 10:52 AM PDT So I have no friends. I only hang around my parents. Whenever I ask them to do something with me, they yell at me, call me ******* annoying, and just degrade me. Plus they dont want to be with me, so Im lonely all day anyway.. Its so bad that Im not allowed in certain parts of the house, where they are anymore.... Until I can find some friend or someone to talk to, how do I stop being needy towards them? |

| Question: Should I move on to new friends? Posted: 15 Oct 2016 10:20 AM PDT Should I move on to new friends? Yesterday we did 2 likes and dislikes about each other. The likes I get was determination and making them happy. Dislikes overly/needy for girls and changes my mind a lot. The thing that hit me the most is when they said, we make fun of you a lot why do you still hangout with us? I realize I do stupid things to get there attention and when we have conv. about things as a group I cant seem to fit in or try to add some words but they don't seem to listen to me, sometimes they do but say what are you talking about or try to argue or just go with what I say and agree. So when I get no attention I say something stupid and they look at me and laugh and say why do you do this? Pretty much I set myself for it. The thing is when I do stupid things I laugh to at myself a lot. It does not help me since I am dealing with depression. They have been my friends since I was elementary and I don't want to move on but if I have to then I will to make my depression go away. I need your guys opinion and help. If you need more info I'll tell you more. |

She's honest, says what she really thinks about you, she smokes, drink, smoke weed,, she listens to rap, she's missing school and she's like really cool. I'm really shy so i can't even talk with her normaly, i don't talk a lot to her but she always invites me to caffe bar. I'm really insecure and ugly and she's beautiful so i'm kinda ashamed for trying to hang out with her.. I'm really antisocial, stupid, listen to kpop,but i wear cool clothes,and listen to a$ap rocky also,and she thinks i'm into dark stuffs(i am) and that i listen to metal music. How could i be more social and cool with her? I'd like to change her thinking about me. She thought i was loser before meeting me |

It really upset me and she laughed whenever I tried to tell her to stop. So after 3 years I got fed up and stopped talking to her. She was really hurt and recently I started thinking of all the good memories with her....there are few of those. Was I wrong to stop talking to her without giving her a reason? I feel really guilty. |

She just completely cut me off and stopped talking to me. Before this we had been friends for 12 years and she was really my only friend. I knew her family, they knew me. I knew that whenever I was having trouble at home that I could go over there... but that s why it s so confusing to me. Why did she just stop talking to me? The only thing that happened before that is she had a birthday party and invited everyone but me. So I confronted her, I would ve understood because when she had sent out the invites we weren t on good terms but when I asked her that she just ignored me.. But, in these dreams I m having we open up about why we said what we said or why we didn t say anything at all and in these dreams we always make up. Yes, I miss her but I feel like she just doesn t want to be friends with me anymore and would just ignore the gesture. She has another good friends and I don t think she cares about me anymore. I still see her at work a lot and we act like we don t even know eachother... it s very hostile. Should I try to talk with her or just ignore the dreams? |

Posted: 15 Oct 2016 07:51 AM PDT I'm not sure how to even begin to explain the pain I feel she had ocd and believed she was attracted to kids she wasn't everyone knew who she was inside. she was only 18 shed often say it was as if her mind wanted her to be a bad person I could tell her everything. We only talk to him when we are in the line. It's just basically small talk like once he told me what he was doing for his mother on mothers day. And how he was going to put up a tree last Christmas. So today he asked me what was new with me and said he hadn't seen me in awhile. I told him because he's never there when I come and he told me the times he works. I just told him that I was starting school soon and he told me that his sister was also. It was really awkward because I usually don't say much and just let my mom do all the talking. He doesn't know my name I only know his because of his name tag. He just seems like someone who would be fun to hang out with. I know it's the cashiers job to be friendly. |
| Question: Why do I feel put off when people think I can t multitask? Posted: 15 Oct 2016 07:07 AM PDT It seems to have been a reaction I ve had since my teenage years. I frequent forums and chat rooms online. Usually, when no one else is online, I ll find something to do, probably because of my ADHD. Then, when someone I m friends with logs in, greets me, and asks what it is I m doing(e.g. watching a film, playing a game, or listening to music), they say "Oh. I guess I ll leave you be", become busy on their own, and sometimes even log out right away. It s like they think I can t handle more than one thing at a time. It feels so frustrating, and I really don t know why. Could it be because I believe they do this because they re not worth my time? Which would be really silly. I m pretty much an empathic people pleaser who puts my family/friend s problems first, the sort that gives gifts without rudely expecting something in return every time. What can I do about this reaction? Is there a good way to respond to them when they reply that way, or am I just overthinking it all? ): |

| Question: Why does the universe hate me so bad? Posted: 15 Oct 2016 06:39 AM PDT There's this guy I have known for almost two years now. At first we weren't as close, but over a couple months, we became best friends, and somewhere in there, I fell for him. I've had crushes on people before, but he was special. So we continued talking, and he was the sweetest. He always helped me when I was sad, and struggling and I did the same for him. Then my friend came along. Right at the point where I was debating confessing my feelings, she messaged me and said, "I think I have feels for *name*." Of course, being the friend I am, helped her and told her to go for it. She messaged him two seconds later. I can't tell him I have feelings for him right after he did, so I painfully let it go. At least I still have my best friend. Wrong. A few weeks later after I help him out with her (why am I so nice??) they start the predating stage known as 'talking'. Let me tell you my 'friend' that I gave the advice to about him, jealous ****. I would be talking to him and I'd make a joke or an Instagram post with him or something, and she'd work her way into it or immediately post a picture of them together. I was really sad that I started to lose my best friend to her. Not only that, but she was making all our inside jokes, theirs. I mean that, to me, really hurts. Now it's the president day and they're full on dating and I'm just there. I don't know what to do, because now I don't even have a best friend to talk to. It's cutting me off but I wish I could explain more. |
