My friend jessy lost her sibling (Joel) last week, Joel and I were very close as he helped me with my down times in my life. I don't want to hurt his feelings, and feel terrible that he got the insinuation that I want this type of relationship/interaction from him, but that doesn't take away from the fact that I'm very uncomfortable now. For my whole life I've never touched Alcohol for a good reason. When I was young I was verbally and sometimes physically abused by my father sometimes he wasn't drunk sometimes he was either way he abused me. My mother when she was divorced by my father for no good reason become homeless and the only thing that got her by was Alcohol and one day we were called to the hospital and it was my mother (I don't know all the details but the main reason she was in hospital was because alcohol) and the doctors told us she wasn't going to survive the night and this was when i was 13. But some how she survived! And she got back on her feet and got an apartment and went sober. But I was still living with my abusive dad with my brother my dad always insulted how we looked and always told us to act and look like our step brother who he preferred telling us hes better then us in ever way. He would take him anywhere get him anything while me and my bro got nothing we coudnt of been ourselves. And my mom always tried to get social workers to investigate my dad but they woudnt. A few years later they investigated and took me and my bro out of my dads care and into our mothers! Well sorry for the long story XD but my question is that I hate alcohol I will never touch it but my friends keep trying to force me to drink it instead of my coke I told them my past with it but still they wont stop how can I get them to stop?

We were dating each other for about 8 months and on the 5th month his roommate left. So he had "no option" but to leave to another city, 3 hours away. According to my boyfriend at the time, he said he couldn't afford the apartment expenses on his own so he moved to Santa Cruz a month later because over there he could have a roommate, his roommate would be his uncles widow, 65 years. He didn't have any more family close by so this was his option or his grandparent s who were only an 30 minutes away from where he lived. Likewise the "weather conditions" were "terrible" and according to him it was better to leave because where he lived there was a lot of pollution which triggered his allergies, bad temper and depression. Okay I tried to comprehend him, he choose to leave and live at the beach with his uncle s widow, only them two. Continuing, the plan was that he was supposed to hang out with me as usual, twice per week. It was twice per week because he has school twice per week in my area. So I agreed. We saw each other 3 weeks later after he moved to Santa Cruz. When we were hanging out he said got dropped of school, clearly not even a month after he moved. He got dropped from an accelerated program at the university because he missed his class more than twice. His excuses were "excusable" and the last time he missed class was because his car had mechanical issues while driving from Santa Cruz to the university. So yes " he missed class and got dropped." Okay so I believed him and we were texting normal every day since our relationship. The only thing is that about 3 weeks later after our last encounter I text him and ask him when he is coming to visit, if he would hang out this weekend. He said "in next 2 weeks" so I offer to drive to see him not this weekend because he was busy, so I said I would drive the following week. Then he said I'll "probably go that 1st wk." While texting he said along the lines I need someone who has a life not make me their life. I kind was disappointed and paranoid with all that was going on. Long story short, we were going back and forth arguing. Basically he said I was needy and obsessed in a rude manner so I was disappointed. So I started saying the type of person that I deserve, never offended. He said it's clear that it's over. I wish you well. So I told him that I wish him well too through text. After 5 days I call him to tell him that if he wants to we could make our relationship work with dedication on both sides. He said he'll think about it and he text me back that he did not want to retry another relationship for the same reason we broke up. He asked if I wanted to stay friends and I said it won't work out because I love him. After about 20 days I call him to say we can stay in contact and that I wasn't calling him to get back together and he said that's "doable," but needed to know how soon we could talk. He asked if I was dating someone, I told him no and he wasn't dating other people either according to him. So then he said he'd call me the next day. He didn't so I call him so I could tell him if he wants to meet up and talk but he ignored my call twice. I send him a text after the 2 missed phone calls saying "hi, how are you doing, I was waiting for your call" he never texted or called back. After I text basically that my attempt to stay friends can't go beyond even though it break my heart not to see or talk to him again. Since then I have finally not talked to him. I was broken inside but why insist. I mean if there is no indisposition or what if there is no love on his side, I think why keep texting if he will continue ignoring me. Two months have passed and he hasn't contacted me. I don't want to make myself look desperate or like an idiot and contact him again. As I said if he is done with me I'll have to deal with it. Though I love this boy with all my heart and I would prefer to at least stay friends and eventually work something out if he wants to. I don't I'm so confused about his feelings and the phone call. Likewise Idk if it was clever to tell him that I didn't call him to ask him to get back together. What do you think about everything? Should I just do nothing? Should I contact him? After receiving a text from my brother after sending him a birthday message today I decided to jump online for an appropriate response to his text. I was at a house party. I was going to have sex with my ex boyfriend and he asked if his friends could 'have a go too'. I remember trying to leave but he sent some texts (I think) and 2 of his friends came up. I didn't know either of them. They all raped me. I am 18 in a month. I have been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years and I love him very much. My mum always knew about my boyfriend however my dad only found out 2 weeks ago because I never wanted to tell him because he is truly crazy. Ever since he found out he has been following me around.
