Question: My husband has a close female (single) friend... he says there’s nothing but I wonder...? Posted: 03 Aug 2019 09:30 PM PDT He met her about a year ago and they have become close friends. I recently met her at a party and she seemed very nice...I don't think anything has happened between them but their closeness bothers me... they work nearby each other so meet for lunch and he confides in her about stuff that up until recently only I knew (she confides in him too)... I know they sincerely care for each other but I don't have that kind of friendship with another man and i wonder if I have anything to worry about with my husband and this friend of his... i know he loves me and I asked him to cool it with the texts with her and he has...but still...I wonder if this kind of friendship is normal between a married man and a single woman...thoughts? |

Question: Why was she keeping this to herself? Posted: 03 Aug 2019 07:21 PM PDT I have known my friend for 30 years. She moved away from my city. For the past 4 years, we have been in contact by phone. All this time went by, she never told me she was ill and her daughter was getting married soon. Had no idea on the other side of the phone, she was now deformed looking due to her illness. When things got too stressful for her, she yelled at me, yelled mean things, sounded deranged and ended our relationship. |
Question: Dating a mommas boy becoming too much? Posted: 03 Aug 2019 07:16 PM PDT I've been dating my bf for 3 years I'm 30 and he's 32. He's always been a mommas boy but it's getting to be too much for me to deal with. I was away all week on a business trip. I got back very late last night. My bf spent the entire week at his parents house. This morning he was up at 5AM to go ride bikes with this dad. Then we went to a family bbq with his family. Tonight, he can't even stay the night because tomorrow he's going bike riding with his dad and every Sunday we go out to lunch with his family. It's becoming too much for me to deal with. Any suggestions on how to deal with this? It's getting WORSE the longer we've been together |

Question: If a woman always strokes her husband’s ego, are all of her faults excusable? Posted: 03 Aug 2019 06:46 PM PDT Let's say she always posts positive things on Facebook about her husband, but she also does the following: 1. Is a nice version of Peg Bundy on "Married With Children" — a couch potato who never had a job, and doesn't clean. 2. Spends all day on Facebook criticizing what others have to say about her living situation (not working). 3. In addition to #2, she has no filter and is very outspoken in general, even to her own mother-in-law, and therefore doesn't try to get along with her husband's mom, but instead stands her ground when she feels she's right about something. Is all of this understandable as long as she's nice to her husband? She's also very grammatically inept, and is outspoken on Facebook about those who correct her grammar on Facebook. "I don't give a f*ck if it's there, their, or they're. You know what I meant. Zip it! OCD much? Anyone who cares about grammar clearly has no life. Don't tell me how to write something" and such. |
Question: What causes couples to divorce when they suffer the death of their child? Posted: 03 Aug 2019 06:34 PM PDT one would expect that is when they would need each other's emotional support the most and should have all the more reason to remain together. |

Question: Why would any woman ever agree to marry if marital rape is legal? Posted: 03 Aug 2019 05:55 PM PDT What would you possibly get from marriage that could outweigh the implications of potentially being legally raped? |
Question: Why doesn’t he ever remember anything? Posted: 03 Aug 2019 05:24 PM PDT We'll be talking about something like for example last summer we went down to Georgia to see some friends. I brought it back up last night and was telling him that we should go back down there. I went on and on about the good memories I had there.. laughing and thought I had a good time there. He doesn't remember anything we did there. He only remember being there, nothing else. When ever I bring back something we did together and ask if he remember..It could be something from like yesterday. He would scratch his head for a min and be like "no. I don't remember". Another thing I hate about him is I would tell him something and he wouldn't listen. Everything new I introduced him to..like things to make life easier for both of us. He is so stubborn and so out of date.. he would fight me and think it's not good and then 2-3 years later.. he starts doing it. He is so behind and always procrastinate. Am I wrong for not wanting to do anything with him anymore because he takes me for granted? I feel like I'm the more evolved and realistic one here. He's smart don't get me wrong but he's shady. He's secretive and will never tell me anything. He was only made to look good in clothes. He's evil. I have no one to talk to. Communication doesn't fix anything when you're both at the opposite side of the spectrum. Would you leave him if you were me? |
Question: Are these signs of interest from a guy ? Posted: 03 Aug 2019 05:01 PM PDT There s a guy at my job who I believe my like me but I'm Not completely sure for instance , he changed his work hours to match mine so yesterday he actually stayed until 7:00 pm ..AFTER I can back medical leave to work which is 7:00 pm now prior to that when I was gone he changed his work schedule to from 09:00-6:00pm and to add my coworkers told me when I was gone on medical leave for three months , told me he would avoid them and made sure to leave before them and actually changed his hours so he left early and he actually stopped talking to them as he usually did in the past before so left . I actually left work right after work I run into him in the lobby we walk out together and we are talking about the job and he exited the elevator he smiled with his whole face lit up and got really giddy and Said "have a nice weekend see you on Monday " Am I looking into this too much or are these ginuine signs of interest ? And to add everyone in our department works from home once a week , except him and I for some reason .. it's all strange Edi |

Posted: 03 Aug 2019 02:13 AM PDT Me and my husband talked divorce but we are still living together. We are working on coparenting with a counselor and it seems like things are slowly starting to get better. And last session left me thinking we had a big communication problem. So we are going to work on that. And from the looks of it, we might be working towards getting back together. I'm not putting all my hopes in this but it won't hurt to try for the kids. So anyway, the lady he is/ was seeing has friends with whom she is always talking about our relationship on social media. They get a diss out of me with the things they say and they are mainly the reason why I have resentment towards him. Yesterday we have had counseling. This morning one of her friends goes to post about how he would love to have a big wedding and then get divorced 18months later. Then someone comes in and say same I just want the kids and then the person replies oh my. I know it's made to get a rise out of me. But I just can stop myself from reading them and actually believing them. Because what led to me wanting divorce in the first place was that same person going on there and saying he was with me for the kids and to avoid child support after an argument we have had. Should I believe them, or should I ignore it? She doesn't say how she feels because she knows I'm aware of her but she will let her friends do it for her. And I feel like whenever she gets the feeling that things are working out she starts doing this. |
Question: I want to take the kids out to a water park + hotel on my birthday should I do it? Posted: 03 Aug 2019 01:39 AM PDT Me and my husband have recently talked divorce and are in counseling to coparent with the kids while still living together. my birthday is coming up and I want to take the kids out for fun and stay at a hotel that night with them. My mother suggested that I just do the water park and come back home. As he may take it as if we will be spending time with another man. our relationship is more so looking like we are starting to get on good terms. But not there yet. I also don't know if there is a possibility of reconciliation. It's like I want to get back with him but not really. But we are still working on our issues. So we are both holding back. So I'm questioning if the hotel is that bad of an idea, if I could just tell him what we will be doing and have them talk to him before bed. is that so bad? |

Question: My husband never compliments or shows affection to me anymore. Advice please? Posted: 02 Aug 2019 11:34 PM PDT Before we married he would say nice things to me. If I wore a cute new outfit he would say things like that looks really good on you. And he was a lot more affectionate with me. Now that we are married he doesn t compliment me at all. No matter what I wear or how I dress up. Nothing. I ve talked to him about this already, and he acts like it s no big deal and says I m being too emotional. I mean I m not asking him to shower me with compliments everyday, but every now and then would be nice. I make sure to compliment him. I basically look the same as before we married and I have actually lost some weight, but not too much. I don t understand what to do anymore. I miss feeling like he desires me, he doesn t even act like he desires me anymore. |
