People in my life have been offended by me saying this. To be honest I really don't care about anyone else's kids and I don't expect anyone to care about my dogs/family but me. It seems like parents think their kids are important to everyone.

I know spying on your kid is not decent, but what to do if you have a strong reason to believe your child is chatting with a predator. What to do, where to start, how to even deal with something like this?

First off, I ask a lot of questions about this job, so dont get mad at me. Anyway. I clean bathrooms in a port/harbor. There are these certain bathrooms that have s shower as well in another room. I was cleaning that,and I saw a kid with a bag full of close outside waiting. When I was done cleaning the shower I told him it was ready. I was just about to clean the bathroom, and he went in the stall. I cleaned the rest of the bathroom. He was in there for about 25 minutes maybe. If I coudnt clean the stall now, then I'd probably be behind schedule. I know he was just sitting there looking looking at his phone. I said "hey buddy, would you mind picking it up a little? Iv got to clean this bathroom" as he was leaving I said "sorry buddy, I've only got so much time to clean these bathrooms" he didnt say a word. He just walked by me. He didnt say a word the entire time actually. Oh, when I say "kid" he was probably around 14-15.

There are two Hooters around my area, and you go in them and all the waitresses are ratchets. Why is this? I go to the Hooters 70 miles away from my house and the waitresses are normal.

My abusive ex and I have a baby together that's only a month old. I broke up with him because of his mental and verbal abuse towards me daily. He said he would change and never did so I ended it with him. The problem is I can't go no contact because of our baby. I don't want to receive hate messages from him while I'm trying to heal from how he treated me but it feels impossible. He also sends loving messages but I know he does it to try and lure me back in and I continue to fight against the fake apologies, which turns to him going back to his insults. He is perfect to our baby but it's me he takes his anger out on and I can't stand it. I don't engage in contact with him unless it's about our baby and it drives him crazy, he has called me so many names and even though I don't respond to the hate it still gets to me. How can I heal from his words and not let them affect me and how can he be in his sons life but leave me alone? Is that possible? I'm not going to court because I don't want to deal with extra unnecessary drama. I just want peace away from him and to get myself back to who I was before the abuse. I don't keep him from his baby he can see him whenever I just wish he didnt insult me the entire time he's taking care of our baby until he goes home and even when he leaves I still get insulted.
