My son wishes he could be an identical twin so he could have someone to share and relate everything with and so there could be 2 of him. He also is on the autism spectrum. I told him there is nothing he could do about it. He hopes that when he dies, he gets reborn as an identical twin. I told him to stop acting like that. He is jealous of my friend's kids because they are identical twins and he never talks to them without crying. My sister has a son who in my opinion, looks identical to my son and they live across the street from us. He also goes to the same school as my son and I'm pretty sure is about 3 months younger than him. I told him to pretend that his cousin is his identical twin and act like it. My nephew even said he would agree to it and said that it would sound fun. But my son won't do it because "it's not the real thing." Help me figure out what to do with my son and help him understand that there are a lot of singletons who want twins and that not everyone is a twin and he is lucky that he can have his cousin be his "twin" before he kills himself so he can "be reborn as an identical twin."

So I'm 18. I got into a argument with my mom so I left home, my other 2 options includes my bfs house or my dads house.. so I'm choosing to stay at my bfs. Well I don't have a car bc at the time when I left home there were only 2 cars.. 1 was mine and 1 was my moms well my mom was getting hers fixed and was using mine so now both are fixed and my brother just got his license so my mom is using hers and gave mine to my brother to use since I left so right now I do not have a car for school/work... I can either get my car back and my mom will get a new one or my dad will buy me a new car but my first day of college starts in 5 days. 2nd) my laptop isn't fixed and I need it for lectures... my dad is supposed to be fixing it but he can't bc he's spending his money on me and my bro since my mom won't help. Overall so far.... i don't have a car for school/work, I've been trying to get a job but it's been taking forever to hear back from anyone, I start college and don't have a working laptop, I live at my bfs and it's weird if I always ask for food and do laundry here bc there 6 other people who live here so I feel like I can never eat what I want or do what I want, I just overall feel low and as an independent person I feel poor, I just don't know what to do or how to fix things bc many of this is out of my control. And my bf and I do argue sometimes then it makes me feel even worse like nobody wants me around.

I'm 25 and female but I look like I am 14. Yesterday I decided to do some exercise so I jogged to a school a mile away from my house. I hung out on the playground for thirty minutes and decided to walk back home. There was this guy who got his mail out of those neighborhood shared metal mailboxes. He went in his car and sat in it. When I started walking down the sidewalk he started his car and started driving slowly behind me. It seemed like he was following me. I noticed him immediately and looked back at him twice letting him know I see him. It didn't look like he was reading his mail and driving slowly. There was a second park close by with a lot of people so I went there. I sat near some people and turned to see if he was still there. He ended up stopping his car and parking there. I couldn't make out his face but I sat there and took out my phone. I started to text my friend and the guy sat in his car for a good 5 minutes and then started his car again and left. I stayed at the park for 30 minutes looking out for the car. When I felt ok to go, I ran back home keeping an eye out. The guy wasn't waiting any where and I made it back home safely while watching all around myself carefully. Do you think I was being too paranoid? With all the crazy things going on in the world I can't help but to be paranoid. I did have a weapon on me though to protect myself.

I will start by saying she doesn't speak to me at all. One time she did say I wasn't her daughter in law because me and her son we're married yet. Well back then she would say a few words to me not rude or in a mean way just regular. But now she doesn't at all. Her other daughter in law had a baby a year ago with her she was Soo excited, really happy to see the baby you know. But for me she didn't even bother coming to the hospital to see the baby nor congratulate NOTHING! I have never done anything to her. It makes me sad that she has favoritism I can say. Why is she acting like this towards me? I was expecting her to at least be happy for me having my healthy baby but she didn't even bother at all saying anything but for her other daughter in law she was all happy. My husband doesn't talk to his mother about any of our issues. We actually don't really have any problems either lol.

Basically I'm a senior and I should be driving. However, my parent's wouldn't let me get my permit until I kept my room clean every day. I have my permit now, but not my license, because my parents say I'm not ready to drive. So my dad is picking me up and dropping me off to school while my mom is out of town. Today was my first day of senior year and I did not get the classes I wanted to. I talked to my counselor during study hall and she told me I had to talk to 3 different people today in order to get the class. I did that after school. However, my dad planned to pick me up at 3:15. I called him to ask if I could stay to talk to the counselor since there was only one more slot in the class I wanted. He said yes, so I went, but now he has an attitude. It took me less that 10 minutes to talk to the last person btw. He says he doesn't care if he has to wait 5 minutes on me, next time he'll leave me there. And he started yelling at me about doing things last minute (today was the first day of school and before today I was told the class was full) but it wasn't last minute at all. He said when he get's there I need to be waiting outside for him like a Taxi. However, he wants to get there at 3:15. I get out of class at 3:15 and the keep us until 3:18 for announcements. I try to explain this to him but all he does is yell and say that all that sounds good, but it doesn't matter because he doesn't care and he's the one picking me up. I don't know what to do at this point.

This person indeed did a wicked thing, and even had children when they did this wicked act. But to hate her I don't get that. She did not break up my mother's marriage, the woman left her own marriage for another man.

In my case it was a generational curse my mother gave me. My mother was cursed by her Dad and his mother and the great-grandmother of mine was cursed by her father. Before that we do not know who the curse was on. It is now assigned to me.

i have really strict parents, they aren't strict for no reason. i've done alot in the past that makes them not trust me which is why i take up to my actions and not acting like im in denial for my acts. 1. when i was 12, i lifted my shirt (only revealing my stomach) and it got sent around almost the whole family i'm 15 now & still don't have a phone to this day because of this incident . 2. when i was in 7th grade, sometimes id lie and say im doing something in school so i can be outside ( my family are super strict and dont let me go out unless im with them) 3. recently (a month ago) my family fount out that im not a virgin. i was having sex wit a 20 year old (he lied n said hes 17, told me he was 20 after we had sex) , since then for like 2 weeks my dad wasn't talking to me, my uncle called me a thot 5 times , and degraded me with every chance he got. 4. 2-3 weeks later, the situation died down and i pressed charges but i didnt want the cops to come but they did and my dad wasnt happy about that. i sneak around and do stuff because when i ask my parents they say no. i also tend to lie a lot because sometimes i feel like i can't trust them. i'm going to highschool in 4 days and i really need a phone. everytime i try to address how unhappy i am or just address a situation or tell my dad or ask for something, he either says no and says "maybe we'll send you to your mom and you can do whatever you want there". i'm also haitian so strict is natural what can i do?

My brother is 14 and our cousin is 13. Our families were hanging out and this is what happened: The boys were on the sidewalk and my mother heard the cousin saying twice ''go cross the streets now'' and he knew there were upcoming cars. My mother managed to pulled my brother by his shirt. According to my mother, our cousin stood there with a grin on his face and briefly smiled. After my shower I sometimes like to just sit in bed naked on my phone just like watching YouTube or whatever but my mom walked in and though she says she didn't see anything she thinks I was taking pictures which is not the case at all I even let her on my phone to check but I don't know if she believes me or not and now I'm just really embarrassed any advice on how to make things less awkward

Okay I'm from Southern California born and raised. Honestly I'm not really doing to much, I'm approaching my 30s. I'm still very dependent on my parents. I still live at home. Honestly I was thinking of moving to texas ( Houston, maybe Dallas). I don't have a job lined up I was thinking of maybe getting an apartment and paying a few months up while I look for a job. Should I take a risk to see if I like it ? Have you moved somewhere with nothing and nobody there how did it work out ? I always stay in my comfort zone and nothing changes and I'm tired of it.

My mother favores my older sister a lot. This one time I was in my mother's room like just to give her a hug and ask if she needs help with something but she brushed me off and next thing my older sister comes in the room, my mom even sits up and gets all happy. I was flustered that my dad even noticed. This month my mom has been staying in my older sisters room and they always talk and everything. Like she even started sleeping in there. The next day was her birthday and my sister has been completely been ignoring for no reason so like I was kinda scared and hesitant to tell her happy birthday. My sister is worried about her boyfriend she said he hasn't called her in the past couple days. They go to an art class she only goes Monday he goes everyday. He doesn't have a phone so she can't call or text him. He's suppose to come over tonight she's worried if maybe he's still going to. She's been with him 5 months he got her a promise ring she said this is the first time since they been dating that he hasn't called her she's starting to get worried. She said his dad has been in and out of the hospital he's probably just helping out with him. She hasn't done well with guys in the past this is the first guy she's been with the longest and has known about it. Knowing he's at that art class around other girls everyday makes her nervous but he's a nice guy he doesn't sound like the kind of guy who would cheat she said they're gonna have a serious talk if he comes over today. He even said that the other clients mainly the other girls at the art class scare him he said she's the only one he likes. How can I help her feel better ?

My dad asked me to borrow him money from an account my aunt left me for my studies. I love my dad, he always helps me with my projects and he is great, sure he can be sometimes a little bit manipulative and childish but I think that's normal, people aren't perfect. However one of his imperfections is that he has projects that never work. I don't want to lend him money and I try to use this account only for my rent and study fees. He got mad at me and said that raising me is expensive and that he always helps me and that I'm being stingy. He doesn't want to speak with me and because of this I feel a little guilty and wonder if I'm really being stingy. What do you guys think?

Everyone asked me what I thought of my cousin baby I said " he looks like a deformed potato and she should not have had him his dad is a convicted felon" My cousin heard said this a now she wants to really fight me for insulting her child but I was just being honest. I can't sleep with my husband any more. I can't. Between the snoring and the frating I cant sleep. So I sleep on the lumpy sofa. He has his own den. We could move a bed in there easy. I decorated the master BR beautifully and it's my escape. When I bring it up to him he will agree to move into the den, we will buy a bed and have it put in. Then he will never ever sleep there ever once. I can just see this happening. I will bet money on it. So this leaves me with the point that I make half of the payments on this house yet has 2 rooms and I don't even have a bed to sleep in. Actually I have made more than half of the payments since he sometimes is out of work and I need to step up. How would you solve this? I brought up the anti snoring devices surgery etc. long ago. He said if I don't like it I can't wear appliances and have surgery.

I'm 31 and my sister is 36...our childhood was terrible because she was abusive towards me my whole childhood and after she is emotionally abusive sometimes . My mom forces me to talk to my sister when I don't want to due to the trauma . College is about to start and I need something light to study on campus. The iPad is very light and has a keyboard nowadays. The problem is, I have a Macbook and I can't bring that to school because I commute and it's super heavy since I will be carrying my notebooks and textbooks and everything. I need an iPad!! It's urgent.

So my sister is REALLY good at drawing and my mom constantly praises my sister for it. She always says how amazing she is and compares my sister's art to my art. Whenever my sister shows my mom her art, my mom goes on and on about how amazing it is. And says that she wants to get tattoos if her art. Any time anyone comes over she calls my sister over to show off my sister's art. But when I show her my art she glances at it and says "cool". I started comparing my art to everyone's art from that point on and I feel really bad about my art. I feel like it looks terrible because I'm not as advanced as my sister is. What do I do to stop comparing and stop feeling this way? I have no form of motivation to draw since my mom started doing this. I've been drawing since I was small. i'm not bad at drawing. I know how to draw. i've been drawing for years.

My mom constantly shames me for wearing anything I like. Keep in mind I'm 16 and she controls everything I wear??? The other day I wore a skirt that's knee height and a short sleeved shirt because it was pretty hot inside the house. My mom told me to go change because it was "inappropriate" she made me wear sweatpants and a long sleeved shirt in this WEATHER. Anything I wear that's slightly short or highlights my body just a bit she shames me for. She even snoops through my closet and throws away clothings that she doesn't like!!! I usually dress conservatively, nothing too short but nothing too long either if it's a skirt it reaches my knee-height and if it's a shirt it covers my shoulders. She keeps on bringing up these disgusting comments on how my brothers and dad will stare at my body if I don't wear something loose and long which is very disgusting to assume when I know they're not like that, it's driving me nuts! Please help!

I hope I don't come off sounding spoiled but I'm 16 years old and I have to share a room with my 8 year old sister. A while ago my brother moved out of the house so I decided to take the room. My mom already knew about it and didn't care. A few months forward my mom decided that my little sister must sleep in the same room with me which is very bothersome, I have to share a bed with her and I feel like I have no privacy at all in my own room. I physically cannot fall asleep when someone is sleeping right next to me, and in some instances, sleeping in the same room as me. She constantly disturbs my sleep and I have to deal with it and it's really affecting me, I talked to my mom about it and she threatened to move me out of the room if I talk to her about it again, help, what do I do?
