Posted: 15 Aug 2019 05:12 PM PDT She might be going through something in life because one day she's here and the next she's gone and it appears that she's distancing herself more and more. I messaged her and told her she talk to me about whatever she's going through if she's going through anything. We talked about music one time and she sent me her soundcloud playlist and notice she's on there more than she is on Facebook and I noticed some of the songs she reposted are deep and raised my suspicions I think she really isn't ok and I think she's introvert and being an extrovert I don't much about introverts because all my friends and family are extroverts. How can I reach her? |
Question: Hello people! so my friend was sexually assaulted and I don t know how to help her.? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 04:24 PM PDT When she told me I immediately was outraged which looking back was not the best reaction. I should have calmly comforted her right away. She told me she doesn t want anyone to know; no cops and no parents. I feel gutted that this happened to her I just don t know what to do to help her. She goes about her life blocking the assault out but I could see it in her face every time she tries to relax. what should I do? |

I mean Im afraid of showing the true me or the new me. what should I do to just have a simple happy life. my family and everything its fine I just dunno how to not be a coward. think you can help guys...? even noe that im telling this Im stressed. |
Question: Do other people feel like this? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 12:45 PM PDT So, tomorrow my girlfriend and her friend are leaving home to visit their closest friend while she's away at college. Every time my girlfriend brings up her going to hang out with her friend(s) I instantly feel down. I don't think it's jealously, it feels like...i'm being left out? I don't know, honestly. She always asks me if it's okay if she goes...like she needs my permission (which she doesn't) and of course, I say it's fine, I mean...I don't want her to think I don't want her hanging out with her friends or feel like she can't because of me, but I can't stand knowing or feeling like I'm being forgotten about or again, left out. My question is, is this a normal thing? A normal feeling? Please, let me know? ): |
Question: Is it a bad idea to tell my friend I'm in love with him? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 12:35 PM PDT We're really good friends. I know it could ruin our friendship but I don't think I can hide how I feel anymore. |

Question: Is '!' Really pronounced bang? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 11:40 AM PDT Whenever I make a '!' On a text to speech program it is called bang. Even in the text to speech programs of the 1990s it was called bang. But I know it is a exclamation point. |
Question: How do I tell my friend I think hes lying about his disability to get on ssi? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 11:27 AM PDT He had a pretty bad stroke about 2 years ago. Hes been working part time since than becuase he said he has memory loss, and if he works too long of hours he could have a seizure and die. First of all, hes worked several full days, and he did just fine. Just said he was sore. Also, he says he forgets things sometimes, and thinks he will qualify for ssi because of it. He said he writes notes of stuff so that he wont forget them. He says that will be proof that he has memory lose. I think hes just forgetful like everyone is at times. Also, he said himself that as along as he takes his medication, he wont have a seizure. So why not just work full time, and take your meds? I just think hes using the fact that he had a stroke to years ago as a reason not to work. I hate to feel this way, but he has a hearing in october that will determine whether or not they eccept or denied his claim. I hope he gets denied so that he can see how silly he is. |

Question: Friend mad at me for not being there when her grandma died? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 06:46 AM PDT We met in highschool and i became her college roommate for a year and she treated me horribly. She would lie to me, never want to come out with me, and she never cleaned whatsoever. This summer has been unfortunate for me, as well as for her. I started having heart issues and rare migraines from stress and then her grandmother died. I was admitted to a hospital multiple times this summer getting MRIs and testing. I started off noticing she unfollowed me on all social media and I asked why. She said it was because I didn't comfort her when her grandmother died, so i told her how I've had to deal with my mental health because it was going downhill fast and it was becoming severe. So then she called me the most selfish person she's ever met. I brought up the times at college were she mistreated me and she flipped it all onto me calling me a liar and a horrible friend. I try to be there for my friends as much as I can, but I'm really struggling to help myself out lately. I feel so worthless and guilty, but is this a mature way for her to leave a friend? She knows I've struggled with stress and depression in the past. I used to do everything for her at college from walking all the way across campus to get her forgotten assignments to canceling dates with my boyfriend mid date to help her out. I was given nothing in return. The drama makes me feel like I'm back in middle school.. |
Question: How can I get a "mean girl" off my back? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 05:33 AM PDT So there's this girl, that I've know for 4yrs, has never liked me. She always said really mean things to me and spead really crazy stupid mean rumors about me, last April I was in the hospital and thought I was dying and she made a new group chat that we use to communicate about the schedule and stuff with all my other friends but me! She said she lost the other one and that everyone that was on the other group chat is on this one. My friend asked where I was and these are her exact words "Oops I forgot her"! Than they started talking about having a get together and my friend ask if I was going to be there by which she replied "I'll ask her" and I never got the info! Not even my "friends" told me about this new group chat or anything. This girl has done a lot of crazy things to try to hurt me and I've laughed it off because where I tried to confront her, she'd play victim. Now I'm sick of it and I want to get her to stop. |
Question: Do you think it's weird that an 34 year wants to chase a 31 year old? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 05:26 AM PDT When we were kids I was 11 he was 14 he would chase me on Halloween for no reason. Well I reconnect with him and he said he would like to chase me again is that weird? He also has a girlfriend. |

Question: I need help with this? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 04:38 AM PDT I am a 27 year old female and I have a couple of friends that are a lot older than me and then I have a couple that are in my age group and people tell me that I need to have friends my own age but the way I grew up I was pretty much always around adults and I didn't really socialize with the other kids because I did struggle in that area and I still do. It does kinda bother me when people tell me that I need friends my own age because one of my friends that is a lot older than me tells that I am her BFF and she likes me and I like her so why are some people that are older than me telling me that I need friends my own age? Sorry but I don't understand |

Question: My best friend didn’t wish me a happy birthday on my 21? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 02:14 AM PDT A week ago it was my birthday, I turned 20. The sad thing is that if someone is important to me, I would remember your birthday and put a reminder on it. I would text you as soon as it turns 12:00am. That's the kinda friend I am. The only people who actually remembered my birthday was my little sister, and my cousin. And that cousin I'm not close to, and she remembered it. But imagine your best friend since babies, didn't even message you that whole week wishing you happy birthday, before you all say she forgot or she was busy. If someone is busy they wouldn't be on social l media, liking things, and see that they are online all while not knowing your birthday. She's not my only friend. What's even sad is that the people I had known for 3 years in college, didn't even message me. I start college again on September, but it's funny everyone wants me to buy them presents and knowledge it's their birthday but not do the same for me. |
Question: Jeffrey Epstein’s neck was broken. Quite comical isn’t it? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 02:05 AM PDT *snap* — dead noises — |
Posted: 15 Aug 2019 01:36 AM PDT I'm from the Dallas area, but I go to school in Lubbock. My girlfriend and all of my friends are in Lubbock. I hope after I graduate and move back, I can make some friends here, but I currently don't have friends in Dallas cause I'm only here during breaks. I've had a summer job while I've been back for break and I've become close with two of my coworkers who're dating. They're the closest thing to friends that I have in this area right now. We haven't been able to hang out cause when I'm not at work, they are and vice versa. They wanted to go out before I go back for school, but the only time we can all get together is this weekend after I get off of work. I'll get off around 11:30 or so. Normally, going out late isn't a problem for me, cause I do it at school all the time, but since I'm home for the break I don't really do that cause my parents gripe at me. My dad thinks I'm some wild party child (even though I'm not) and judges me when it comes to anything involving alcohol or a bar (I'm 23). I just mentioned hanging out with them after work, didn't even mention where we wanted to go, and he threw a huge fit about me wanting to go out late and thought it was a bad idea if we went anywhere in the city cause he thinks its unsafe. I understand he's just being protective and wants me safe, but I'm an adult. I've done nothing but work and do summer classes all summer and it would be nice to do something before the school year starts. |
Question: Does this sound like fraud to you? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 12:58 AM PDT I'm a cashier at a super market. A friend of mine asked me to get him a rain check for an item we had in stock. The reason was he didn't want to miss the sale. I have his rain check for him when he comes in. Here's the deal... I think this might be fraudulent. I'm thinking about just telling him I accidentally lost the rain checks. What do u think? This is my job we are talking about here. Not worth it. Might be against the rules. |

Question: Am i being left out or is it in my head? Posted: 14 Aug 2019 08:56 PM PDT i like my friends a lot I've had a lot of good memories with them, more specifically each of them individually. There's one friend in specific I feel we have a lot in common and click really well and another friend we don't see as often. Whenever we hang out in a group that friend seems to want to purposely exclude me from talking to my closer friend and idk if its in my head! She'll purposely be walking with her ahead and faster so the rest of us are following behind or whenever I try talking to my other closer friend in specific and she wants to chime in i Can feel the friend lightly pushing me away with her arm movements kind of like she wants our friend to only look at her. She gives us her back when she talks to this friend or has one on one convos with her consistently about topics only the two of them can really converse about. I try to be open minded because maybe she's just excited to talk and socialize but she tries so much harder to bond with our friend than the rest of us we're more of a second thought, when our friend is doing sumn that's when she chooses to talk to US and idk what to think of it anymore .. don't know If I'm reading too much into it |

Question: Is the tiny house movement dying? Posted: 14 Aug 2019 07:10 PM PDT It seems like a lot of people who really drew attention to living in tiny houses aren't living in them anymore. Does that mean they aren't really practical, and the tiny house movement is dying? Or are more and more people living in them, but the novelty of them is wearing off, so we just don't hear about them as much anymore? |
Question: Why is my friend telling me to quit my job? Posted: 14 Aug 2019 05:03 PM PDT I have worked at my job for more than a few years and I am very happy there because I'm still in college and the money they give me is really good and this my first job that I've ever had and it will look good on my application. My friend just got a job at target and makes $13.00 an hour and thinks she better then me because she makes more. She now wants me to quit my job for a worldwide company like her target job. She told me in person that you should quit for a job that pays more. I love this job right now and I found today I am getting promoted hopefully soon which makes $15 an hour. My friend has more than multiple jobs on her application and keeps quiting one job after the other. She showed me her pay checks and is spending all of her money already. Why would she tell me to quit my job when I love it there and really like what I am doing? |
