Is this (below) something you would say to a friend/someone you cared about? Someone said this to me - do you think that they are my friend? No one deserves to be bullied. You do have friends, as I'm your friend and don't forget that. I'm always here if you need to talk. Don't let what people did in the past hurt you now. You just keep working hard and show all them pompous people what you are really made off. I'm sure you will go far, you just need to believe in yourself :) I'm sure people don't hate you. I don't and I will always be here to talk to. You will be successful, you just need to believe in yourself.

During summer my sis asked me if she could lend my pc for school because her pc doesn't work and she needs to save money to repair it. From my experience she isn't good at saving money because she has been owning me money for a few days now. It was always for her emergencies that it was hard to say no. I had to put all my money in the bank for it to stop. When her school started she said she has to lend my pc till the end of the year and if I want to use it I will have to tell her a few days beforehand. So not only is my pc not available for me to use when I want, but I've to ask for it too. She also lends other different stuff from me and I don't feel to happy about it. I feel the urge to keep my stuff for myself but I don't know how. I also kind of feel jealous of her friends because she gives them expensive gifts for their birthdays but when it's my birthday I get nothing. I gave her birthday gifts though. Once in a while I can't help but feeling used. My stuff doesn't always come back as how it was when it was lensed out. Missing items here and there or broken.

i had a falling out with a close friend of mine a couple years ago and it was bad. we fought because he began to change and make fun of people and i didn't like it. i called him out on being mean. since then he has followed me in everything i do, and will not leave me alone! my best friend doesn't support me and continues to be friends with him, which doesn't bother me a whole lot because i have other friends too. however, he uses her to get to me and all i want is to be left alone. i don't want to make amends (i fried already and he was the one who messed that up). i decided to run for student council and of course he ran and tried to beat me (he didn't, we both won). he tries to invade my life in every petty way he can and all i want is for him to just leave me alone!!!! i have ignored him and not said a word to him but he still won't stop. i don't know how to get him to leave me alone!

A friend recently told me a secret about something she is doing that is not illegal but extremely morally wrong. I'm disgusted, disappointed and wish she would have never told me. How do I deal with this? It keeps me up at night. Has anyone been in a similar situation?? Example: a friend knows who her baby's father is but kept the child a secret from him.

I'm pretty sure my guy friend is obsessed with me. He basically freaks out if I don't respond to his text messages right away and literally sends me 3 messages: "Where are you? Why aren't you replying to me? Please don't break this friendship up." He is persistent in this kind of behavior....Does that behavior sound like overprotection or domineering?

We are super friends, we work together and stayed in the same accomodation. So basically, i do everything with her. Im so comfortable with her, she is speacial to me. But one day we had some confrontation / missinderstanding regarding some of our issue and we became cold to each other, it has been a month now and we are not the same anymore. We dont talk, we dont hangout anymore and im feeling so hurt cause i miss her so much, i miss doing things with her. All the friends and crushes who left in bad terms. I know I put in a lot of effort in my friendships and relationshios and I do my best to be considerate and make them work. I feel so crushed when it ends up badly and my mind won't stop repeating and adding scenarios to those failed relationships. It's making socializing and being around my friends very stressful

I get mocked and bullied by my classmates. I am much smarter, talented and better looking than my classmates. I am the head of a club in school and I'm well recognised in school. The teachers and many students like me a lot and like everything i do. So i assume my classmates bully me because they are just jealous of the fact that I'm way better than them. A friend of mine disagrees. He says that im a weird guy. The way i walk, act and behave is weird and abnormal and i must be aware of it.He says that my classmates who bully certainly jealous of me. They do it because they think they are better than me because they have nothing wrong with them and are normal while I'm weird. So he says that they don't bully me because they think im better... I had a friend who helped me LOTS, Then he kind of drifted apart . When I heard he was in difficulties I got in touch with him and provided assistance. He is going after big projects that require a lot of funding and is not giving up. I helped him a few times. I have chalked up something nice he can do in his own . He says he will but doesn't. I told him only If he does something on his own, I will help him. What else can I do to convince him. Really worried he will end his life.

I recently lost a family member to su*cide and im still mourning the loss and taking it day by day, one of my friends' birthday is on the 18th and i really dont feel like going to her party...im not in a place to be able to go to a restaurant with a group of friends and answer questions like "are you okay" when i know damn well that im not...would it be rude of me to not go to a friends birthday?

My ex broke up w me for him and caued him to hate me..it took forever for him to even become semi-friends with me..and now he told me he doesnt think we can ever be as close of bros as we used to be and i want nothing more than to have my best friend back..what should I do?

He gets shy and awkward and has trouble continuing to look me in the eye when we talk (we work together) but other times talks to me as if nothing. I don't understand if it's because he likes me that he acts like this? But if he likes me then why is he indifferent other times?

I'm 16 years old and i moved about a year ago to a new city leaving all of my best friends and everything familiar to me. The First few months were ok at the new school i made new ... friends? Not sure if i can call them that let's say acquaintances but talked on the phone almost everyday with my best friends but slowly we stopped i felt like i was always the one reaching out and my calls wouldn't be picked up so i just gave up on the friendships. Around this time i stopped using social media except for this account where i have some internet friends. With no one to talk to my age in real life for months, exams coming up, acne getting worse i guess i isolated myself even more i stopped taking showers regularly i couldn't have a decent night of sleep for days still can't now pretty sure I have insomnia. If i was invited to events i would never go always had an excuse, i had the least motivation for school ever but still tried in fear of not being able to get into university. I also became more self conscious and well hated myself. Never had serious suicidal thoughts tho so that good! but the reason why I'm asking instead of going to get diagnosed is because I'm pretty sure my parents would laugh at me but i also don't wanna self diagnose and become one of those people who think depression is a personality trait. pls tell me what you think thank you

I'm about to be 24 soon this upcoming weekend and still rarely have friends few of them left me in the dust years ago. Now really dont have any even in hs. I'm not sure who to contact since everyone forgot about me or know that I'm incredibly introverted. No gf still. I have a family but idk if they even give a crap about my bday. I still live with grandparents and I'm asian and they still put food on the table for me. I play on cpu and smartphone for average of 12 hours a day past 2 years has been no life since I got the personal home care job part time sis does most of work. I wasted 3 yrs of community college only getting certificate in accounting then took random classes then quit. Couple years ago I started watching quite a bit of pornography and got addicting I'm going to stop now. I'm getting stupid,uglier,older and just getting worse. What is there to do on my bday? And I feel like things are just getting worse.

so I've been playing basketball since I was a little girl. I'm in 11th grade now and I've just stopped enjoying the game. I just don't have as much fun as I used to with it. I want to quit and so does my parents but my best friend won't let me. every time I tell her I want to quit she just guilts me into staying on the team.
