Question: Is It okay for a 12-13 year old to hang out with a 9-10 year old? Posted: 29 Aug 2019 05:04 PM PDT I'm 12 turning 13 in november, and my bestfriend is 9, we're both boys, but he's turning 10 next year in january and i will still be 13, which makes us about 3 years and 2 months apart, he's in 4th grade and i'm 7th, do you think it's weird to be friends with someone who is 3 years younger then you? |
Question: Should I smoke weed with my friend? Posted: 29 Aug 2019 03:39 PM PDT I'm 14 and my friend that lives in my neighborhood is 11 and some how he gets weed and then smokes it, should i smoke some with him? |
Question: Can you tell me how stupid do you think my friend is? Posted: 29 Aug 2019 03:23 PM PDT I am writing this question because I want to see what you think about people who act in such a way. This day I was talking with one of my friends. What I can tell is that this friend is trying to use me. He bought headphones for 100 euros. He told me that he bought it for me if I wanted them. Once I would accept his gift, he would then tell me that I will need to give him back 100 euros. All because he paid 100 euros from his hand. Because of this, I told him that I will not accept his gift to me once he does things this way. There is no way that I should give him 100 euros once he paid the money from his hand. He really seems like a negative friend who uses me and does things in a bad way. And I am asking you, how stupid do you think he is? What would you do if you someone told you things this way? I am really angry at him. It sounds dumb for a person to give back the amount of money you bought with. |

Question: Should I stop having sex with this guy? Posted: 29 Aug 2019 02:25 PM PDT My friend is going through a rough time right now. This is what he sent me yesterday usually we argue but now all of sudden he wants to be nice. I guess it's just because he's going through a rough time. He and I have been friends since 2015 he lives in another state and we hookup every now and then. Me: I promise I know it's really hard for you right now. But try to stay positive and let me know if there is anything I can do. Him: Reality strikes with uncertainty; vehicle broke into and vandalized; brand new ipad from verizon, all of my important documents and work stolen... I'm not emailing you for assistance---I'm just sharing this unpredictable event.. Nevertheless; i'm currently emailing you from a public library---leaving soon with absolutely no sense of direction. I'll never forget the experience and time we spent together.. I dont know what to do.. WILL CHECK EMAIL TOMORROW |

Question: Why are high school freshmen SO annoying!?!? Posted: 29 Aug 2019 01:37 PM PDT I started my senior year last week and the freshmen are horrible. These 14 year old girls get their personalities from social media, I swear. They buy Hydroflask water bottles just to be 'cool' and imitate 90's trends. Don't forget the annoying noises they make ("and I oop" "that's the tea" "sksksks"). Their drama is petty and worse. Minor incidents can cause a big drift between friendships. Don't forget the annoying little boys too. They think they're cool by making memes that aren't even hilarious. I'd say this is the worst group of freshmen we've ever had so far. We have to share the hallways with them too. |
Question: What to do when a toxic person keeps trying to reappear in your life? Posted: 29 Aug 2019 01:30 PM PDT This person, despite me breaking contact with them, has still tried to be part of my life without me knowing. He still talks to my friends about me, somehow knows what's going on in my life, and posts indirects about me on his social media (I know this because my friends tell me). All I've been doing is trying to move on from this person but he keeps trying to come back after he's hurt me. He just recently got involved with some of my personal drama with friends and tried to make himself part of it when it doesn't concern him. He's trying to break apart my relationships and I'm very concerned and honestly a bit scared. He gives off bad vibes and I told him to leave me alone but I don't think this is the end. |

Question: How can I make and sustain friends? Posted: 29 Aug 2019 12:09 PM PDT I am a 24 year old honest guy, I am funny at times but a lot happened in my life like my parents passing away when I was very young , me having failed in life once already and getting depressed a lot of times, I trust people too easily and when they talk behind my back, I just don't talk to them and end up having no friends. I am from India but currently in Munich, Germany for my higher studies. Please tell me what I should do? |

Question: My work didn’t give me a birthday card, am I being too sensitive? Posted: 29 Aug 2019 11:41 AM PDT So I started this job 3 months ago and the work place has been open for around 10 months now so I'm not an original member. I wouldn't say I have really clicked with the team, and already considering moving to another company because I do feel like it's been a step back in my career rather than forward, however staff members are unaware that I'm considering leaving. It's the done thing for staff members to be given a present and card on their last shift before their birthday. Today we celebrated one members who I actually share the same birthday as. When we all sang together I was half expecting them to bring out my present shortly after but it never happened. As this person left work everyone wished them a happy birthday but I said goodbye to everyone and (as usual) had no reaction from them. I fully understand that I don't quite fit in with this group of people, but seeing as I do make an effort for their birthdays (especially in my short time working here) I do feel quite disappointed. I'm just wondering if anyone has had a similar situation? And if so, did you tell them about the slip up? |
Question: When you try to talk to a person and they act like this what do you do? Posted: 29 Aug 2019 07:50 AM PDT You try to carry a conversation with a person And they ask you a question and you fail to answer it right away They then get rude smart aleck angry while rolling their head and ask you again in an emphetic way, raising their voice, They cancel out anything that you have to say at that moment and make sure that you answer them directly You end up shutting up and directly answering them. |
Question: Why should someone be friends with a Trump Supporter? Posted: 29 Aug 2019 07:36 AM PDT People should not be obligated to be friends with someone that voted for someone who clearly treats people like ****, so why? Now don't get me wrong, I'll always be friends with someone no matter what, but why should someone have to be friends with a Trump supporter if they don't want to associate with that? I see a lot of articles that they don't want to be friends with someone they know that vote and supports Trump, regardless on what he does, can someone please explain to me? |
Question: Is he INTERESTED or not? Posted: 29 Aug 2019 06:11 AM PDT I met a guy at a school party and we chatted for a bit. Now whenever he sees me at school he always says hi and he tried to talk to me once about school. He talked to me last week, and I was surprised that he remembered my name since we last met was few months ago and we only talked for few minutes. Yesterday, I was at the library reading and when I looked up I noticed he was looking at me, so he waved and smiled. Is he trying to be friendly or is he interested? |
Question: Best friend group very secretive and always excludes me. What should I do? Posted: 29 Aug 2019 05:42 AM PDT So basically I've this close friend group since middleschool. It contains of me and three other girls (one of them has been my bff since kindergarden). Like 1 or half a year ago this started. They always have some secretive topics they talk about in groups of two or three. But they NEVER tell anything to me. Obviously I know all of this anyways, because they talk in the groupchat, but they never include me, they never say anything straight to me-I always find out from the side. And those are not even very important things that maybe one special friend will get, they are about the most basic things. Now they were talking bout a person and one of my friend was like "Do (I) knows about him?" and other friend was like "No. _like always_. I couldn't tolerate it and said that basically if youre gonna exclude and keep me in the dark for no reason, then dont get annoyed that i know nothing. If you dont tell me anything, i dont give a **** too. No answer yet. Also the kindergarden bff is going to a different school and now im really scared that i will be abandoned (yes, this has happene before), because the remaining friends are "bffs" and have things in common i dont wanna be apart of (cutting, for example). One of them has depression so we always try to help her, other one is just a huge attention seeker and gets in trouble and does stupid **** just to feel "cool and included" between other people, so she doesnt actually have a mental illness, she almost feels proud of doing it. |
Question: Would you be friends with somebody that started a rumor about you in the past? Posted: 29 Aug 2019 12:16 AM PDT |
Posted: 28 Aug 2019 10:09 PM PDT For example (a strange and real example) I was sitting in the park with my youngest child and my 19 year old. A mom of an old ex friend of mine had plopped down next to me and asked, "Hey Ramona! Do you remember when Eric (fake name) went to school in "this area" and he'd miss the bus all the time and I had to bring you to drop him off?(I had to jog my memory as i didn't remember the school nor her dropping us off) I replied, "Oh yes! he did go to pre-school in "that area" however, you dropped us off twice. He never missed the bus because there was no bus, he was 4 years old and the state doesn't offer transportation until he was 5. She kept barking at us (it was just like barking) she moved in closer getting irate because me nor my son remember her claims. The more we denied her this "memory" of hers, she got angrier until she stormed off! I'm now at home mulling over this very weird experience in my head and how i'm glad I dropped them both because of occurrences like these. I feel like she's mad that I just went on a week long vacation with my family and they just wants me to feel stupid and try to belittle me on an old false memory. I want to let this go but I feel like I should sort it in my head to feel better but then again I don't seen how getting upset over this is helping either. What do you think about what is healthier? |
Question: Am I a toxic person? Posted: 28 Aug 2019 09:37 PM PDT My name is Grace and it feels like no matter what I do, I end up abandoning my best friends and replacing them with new friends. I create drama a lot because it's just in my nature and I find myself talking about my best friends behind their backs to my new friends. I had a bad reputation in Elementary and middle school. I also had this one friend who started to cut herself because I was abandoning her. I usually only keep friends around for nine months and then I find new friends. I just don't know what to do. I somehow find myself being rude or creating drama even though deep inside I don't want to. Anyways, am I toxic? |
Question: What am I going to do about this? Posted: 28 Aug 2019 09:36 PM PDT My mom keeps buying me the wrong thing and I can't tell her because it'll hurt her feelings but she keeps buying me more and more of the wrong thing I have to say something or else she'll keep doing it. |
Question: Should I find another hair salon? Posted: 28 Aug 2019 09:35 PM PDT I'm 18 and I graduated high school back in June. My best friend Kristen's mom is a hairdresser, and I always get my hair done at the salon her mom works at because it's extremely close to where I live. It's so close that I can walk there, and it's a really good, professional salon. My hair always comes out really nice at this salon. The thing is, Kristen has never been a really good friend. First off, she has always been very immature for her age, and she can even be a bully at times(never to me). Also, she never answers the phone when I call her except for 2 times in the past, she never replies to my texts except for the few times she did, she never calls or texts me first and she never invites me anywhere. She also hasn't talked to me since we graduated high school. I've been friends with her since we were freshmen in high school. but I have never been to her house or gone anywhere with her. She ALWAYS says how i'm her best friend and BFF, so she's not just an acquaintance, but she doesn't treat me like a best friend or BFF otherwise. I ALWAYS see pictures of her hanging out with her other friends, and it hurts because i'm never in those pictures AND they're all going off and having fun without me. She always makes me feel left out and hurt, and I want to stop being friends with her. I would tell her mom how she makes me feel the next time I get my hair done, but my parents told me not to. Her mom is really nice and easy to talk to, and she tells me that Kristen always talks about me at home, but she doesn't seem at all concerned that I never come over to hang out with Kristen or that i'm never in any of the pictures she's taken with her friends. She doesn't seem to care one bit about Kristen leaving me out of everything. I love my current hair salon so much and it has been my go-to place to get my hair done for years, but I don't want a hairdresser who doesn't truly care about her customers doing my hair. Not only that, but everytime I get my hair done, Kristen's mom always asks me "Have you been talking to Kristen lately? Have you seen her lately?". It makes me sad when she asks me those questions because the answer is always "No, I haven't.". I think it'd be healthier and better for me if I looked for another hair salon where I won't have to see Kristen's mom. There are PLENTY of salons nearby that are really good. I can easily find another one. It's just that Kristen makes me really upset and I want to completely move on from her. I want to find new friends who will treat me better! Should I go to a different salon to get my hair done from now on? I'm even tempted to give the salon Kristen's mom works at a bad review online, and say that her mom is the worst hairdresser there. Should I do that? Kristen REALLY hurt me and her mom doesn't seem to care! Please don't call me a brat! I have Asperger's and can't help it! That was hurtful. :( |
Question: Does she think I’m a burden? Posted: 28 Aug 2019 08:02 PM PDT So I transferred to a new school this year. I know a few people and one of them is a close friend from church. I end up eating lunch with her because no one is really reaching out to me yet. I don't want to seem like a burden, but sometimes it feels as if she thinks I'm annoying. On top of that what I do seems to always look like I'm copying her. |
Question: Hopeless and sad, college tips? Posted: 28 Aug 2019 07:31 PM PDT Ok this is kind of confusing and long but. I'm an 18 year old dude and I've been at college for a week now. The past couple years I realized my friend group at home sucked, they would always start arguments with me out of nowhere or just be straight up mean to me. I quickly noticed I picked wrong people as my friends as they changed from what I thought I got myself into. So the past couple years I've looked extremely forward to college to meet new friends. Also, all these friends I had were girls. Don't get me wrong, I'm not gay, I'm asexual so I couldn't care less about ******* a girl nor another dude. I just have been friends with girls because in elementary I used to have crushes on them for whatever reason and would hang with them then realize I don't actually "like like" them and we would become friends and so on and so forth. Anyways, it's now college time and I have really high expectations to meet friends because I've wanted this for so long. And, I finally want to be friends with other guys, I'm so tired of people assuming i'm gay, and girls getting so comfortable with me. For example they think I'm into shopping, having mini dance parties and other stuff that sound extremely boring. Plus all the drama, hence my last friend group. But anytime I'm around another guy and I try to start a conversation they're almost always never down to chat or are just completely quiet. It seems everyone around me already has friends and to wrap it up I'm extremely sad. Hopeless :( |

Question: My roommate purposely wakes me up at night when he comes home, what should I do? Posted: 28 Aug 2019 06:56 PM PDT He gets home about 2am from his job, and turns on this stereo. His stereo is set to full volume so it comes on full blast. He turns it down afterwards, but the initial blasts wakes me up. He does it to annoy me. I really don't know how to deal with it. We are both students in college. I think he is trying to make me leave so he can have the apartment to himself, or so he can get a new roommate. He is a weightlifter and is really big. I don't think I would stand much chance in a fight. I am really stressed out. How would you deal with this person? |
Question: My moms a drunk and needs to find a sponsor for her AA class. Read details plz? Posted: 28 Aug 2019 06:40 PM PDT I'm 23. My moms been drinking for probably 10 years or so now. The last 4-5 have been heavy. About 7 months ago we were going to have a family dinner, me and my wife came over and she was super drunk. So drunk I thought she was doing drugs too so I was scared and I called 911 etc etc and ended up driving her to the ER about 2 hours later. Her blood test came back .38... when the doctors told me I went in her room and told her and all she could do was laugh about it. In fact she was laughing about it for a week. WTF... she could have died. Anyways... we admitted her to a 1 month rehab and that helped for about 2 weeks after she got out and then she relapsed. Then she lost her job and her boyfriend and now lies to me and my younger brother constantly. I am growing to hate her not because she drinks but because who she is becoming. She's extremely hostile now, always edgy, always lying, making excuses, driving drunk. I miss her! Anyways... she reached out to me an hour or so ago and said she is looking for a sponsor and wants to change... she's been relying on friends but has a way of using the friendship to her advantage and it ends up poisioning their friendship in the end. So she needs someone anonymous or at least that she doesn't know that has successfully went through alcoholism . Where can I or she find that someone? Her local AA meeting doesn't have anyone right now they can refer her too. |
Question: Why is it so hard to make female friends? Posted: 28 Aug 2019 06:26 PM PDT I am a 27yr old woman and I have a hard time getting and keeping female friends. This is so weird to me. I used to have so many good friends.... I used to be such a nerd and stayed in the books. Then I began to dress cute but I am the same person on the inside. I am still I dedicated loyal woman. Girls will throw shade at me for no reason, at work and even in new friendships. I asked one of my female associates if she wanted to go to a concert and she said no. But then I saw that she was in the photos of the concert. This happens to me all the time. I always don't get invited to places. Another girl told a group of friends that she invited me out but I said no. That wasn't true, she never asked me. I don't know what's wrong with me. Why do girls switch up on me like that. |
