Question: Move to the people I love or the place I love? Posted: 25 Aug 2019 05:40 PM PDT I'll be graduating college this year and just got to thinking where I want to end up after then. I spent a year in an off-campus program in DC and absolutely loved the place! Despite all the opportunities there, I often got very lonely and anxious not having friends there to create experiences with. Remembering how paralyzing that had felt, I'm wondering if DC is even worth considering if I'm going to constantly feel alone all over again, nearly all my friends and family living on the west coast. So now I wonder if I'd be better off going to a place that I'm not as fond of but is where (or close to where) some familiar faces are. Would love to hear some answers from people who have been in my shoes, and if you ended up in a new place by yourself how you made friends? Thanks in advance! |
Question: Was this rape or sexual assault? Posted: 25 Aug 2019 03:22 PM PDT So I went to a party where there was only 15-20 people and I ended up getting really drunk. I threw up and decided to lay on couch for the rest of the night. After about 20 mins, this girl who kept staring st me throughout the night grabbed my arm and led me into the washroom. I tried to make her lose grip and tried to walk the other way but she pulled me in and locked the door. In the washroom, she was kissing me despite me saying no and pushing her. She tried taking off my clothes and kept touching my thingy. The only reason she stopped was not because I said no, but because he friend knocked on the door and told her they were leaving. I told my friend and she laughed and said guys can't get rapped or sexually assaulted. She also told me it doesn't matter because it wasn't traumatic to me and that I barely remember, but it makes me sad sometimes. I hate the thought of someone just leading me when I was not even that conscious and do stuff with me. I don't want to call the police, but I feel lost because i don't know what to call this... |
Posted: 25 Aug 2019 01:36 PM PDT She is straight and says she hasn't ever felt stuff for girls..But she is giving so many signs she likes me and others see it too..All I ask is..Is it possible for someone to say they're straight and never felt stuff for girls..but actually do or have felt stuff?? |
Question: Why isn’t my friend offering me her place when she knows my situation? Posted: 25 Aug 2019 01:24 PM PDT I'm a mom of two and work as a lift driver. My kids dad do not help out at all. I have family here and there. I have a friend who is single and I went to see her new home and obviously she has enough room. She has two guest rooms and a loft. I told her my situation and asked if I could stay as I'm facing tough times due to loosing my purse and have to be out in ten days. She keeps avoiding me. I tried to ask if we can hang out at her place so that I can ask in person and she declined. My thing is she has the room. Why isn't she offering to let me stay? We still talk but whenever I bring up the situation she changes the subject. I can go to my moms but her place is only a two bedroom and two hours away which means I have to transport all of our things . Any advice? Should I cut her off as a friend? |
Question: My 12th birthday is coming up. what should I do with my parents?? Posted: 25 Aug 2019 10:36 AM PDT so I obviously know I'm not having a big or small party with friends or family cause friends wont even show up anyway and family relatives are busy workin and grinding. my parents are pretty busy too. but they wouldn't mind doing a simple something. what is something simple that my parents and I can do for my b day |
Question: How can I convince a guy that I only want sex? Posted: 25 Aug 2019 09:45 AM PDT Awhile ago this guy and I agreed to be friends with benefits. We met up once and had sex and had a nice time together. He met my parents where he works awhile ago and sometimes they talk to him where he works. They talk to me about him a lot and I told him the things that they say about him and that I thought they wanted me to date him. So now he thinks that I want more but I honestly don't. He said that he thinks us hooking up should just be a one-time thing. But that he loves my body and that he thinks my body is amazing. That he still wants me to send him sexy pictures. When I told him that it was just a misunderstanding and that all I want is sex he replied telling me not to stop sending him the pictures. Update: @Foofa: You don't know me to say it isn't true. If I wanted more than sex I would say so. He's not leading me on because I don't want to be in a relationship with him. I talk to other men as well don't assume things about people because it makes you look like an asshole. |
Question: Was this rude or wrong? Posted: 25 Aug 2019 08:28 AM PDT My friend who is a guy, recently fell ill and lost a lot of weight. He was already quite slim, now he looks really thin and frail. I made a comment not thinking and said "you look so girlish with your new dainty figure". He hasn't talked to me since that day which was last week. It's just that time looking at him, he did look like a girl. I now realize I shouldn't have said it. How do I apologize? |
Question: Is he just a nice guy? Posted: 25 Aug 2019 04:01 AM PDT He is a guy in my school ( a year ahead of me) and we met previously at a party and we chatted for a bit. Now whenever he sees me at school he always says hi and he tried to talk to me once about school. Yesterday, I was at the library reading and when I looked up I noticed he was looking at me, so he waved and smiled. Is he trying to be friend or is he interested |

Question: Please rate his looks 1-10? Posted: 25 Aug 2019 01:06 AM PDT please rate his looks from 1-10? is he handsome? |
Question: How can I get my friend to be more aware? Posted: 24 Aug 2019 11:15 PM PDT I have a white friend and he just doesn't get that he's even remotely privileged in any way. Some examples being he doesn't understand that most people don't get $15,000 cars as a first car at 16 or like just normal bias a minority would experience in everyday life. He won't even admit that life is different for him compared to a black man |
Question: How do i seperate my life from my good friend? Posted: 24 Aug 2019 08:21 PM PDT said between two same sex friends who say they're straight. Thoughts? Does it mean romantic? |
Posted: 24 Aug 2019 02:37 PM PDT And if you tell him no, that it hasnt happened yet (the truth) he begs you not to do it, and has tears in his eyes and you pull him close because you feel sorry for him and he rubs his face in the middle of your chest and hugs you tight, still begging you not to do it, because "you can never get back if you do". The guy was my first love, first crush but he broke my heart refusing me and using the timing as an excuse (that he had issues - which was and it's still true - with his adoptive family that made him sick and got him anger issues), and he comes back to me after years of not hearing about him just because he knows I got engaged to a good guy I like so much (in a different way than him) and we'll probably get married in the future (that's our culture) |
