Posted: 02 Aug 2019 02:33 PM PDT Scolding was heard using English and a revived language all but extinct in the previous century. Elders did not communicate with pool staff or adults like myself watching swimmers other than the visiting tribe. Over 50 elementary school aged tribe children were otherwise quite happy to shriek and splash at each other, As did children not being scolded for any outreach attempts. |

Posted: 02 Aug 2019 09:01 AM PDT By the way, I am a Japanese married woman living in Japan. I love my fun, kind-hearted loving husband, I love my job as a techincal translator, I love my hobbies such as going to art museums, dining and wining in luxurious French restaurants, and travelling to European countries. I like American movies and reality TV. Japanese TV and movies are so boring. I wonder whether Japanese people are boring in general, so I wanted to ask this question to American people. They seem very attractive on TV. To chris n No, I find my own life and husband exciting. I just find other poeple boring. Which is why I don't make friends and I don't need friends. |

Posted: 01 Aug 2019 07:57 PM PDT She is a subsitute teacher so she doesn't get paid in the summer time and even when she was subbing she was only making $60 a day. She could hardly keep her head above water. She said that after she paid her bills she was depressed because she couldn't buy clothes and makeup and she could barely afford any groceries. Then, she only gets paid once a month. her once a month checks are like $900 a month. She said she has been depressed because she doesn't have the money to keep her appearance up and she can't afford lesiure activities also.My girlfriend has a passion for makeup and fashion. She always tells me how it would be her dream job but we live in a small city and we hardly have any jobs in that area. We only have like two jobs in fashion and makeup and those jobs are already full she said. She said she applied to over 200 jobs and went on countless interviews and almost everyone is full. She has been crying a lot. She is 29 and living with her parents so at least she has a place to stay. She also doesn't have her license and she doesn't know how to drive. Lately, I've been feeling a little used because she always wants me to take her to the mall to window shop. She said it helps her depression to just look around. I suggested we do something different like the beach and she said it was too hot. I told her " listen, seems like it's all about making you feel good." she was like " I only ask you to take me to the mall once every two weeks to look around dam" she was like " you have every other day to go to the beach and do you want. just one day every two weeks and its a problem." I told her I feel like im just an uber driver for her. I honestly don't think she's cut out to drive though. I tried to teach her but her attention span is too bad and it's hard for her to remember her directions. I told her not everybody is cut out for driving. She can catch an uber or lyft for the rest of her life. She said I was being negative. She said she believes she can learn to drive. I have a great paying job my job pays $12 an hour. |
Question: Do I have a right to be upset with my husband for lending his mom money behind my back? Posted: 01 Aug 2019 07:51 PM PDT My husband was on the phone with his mom a few days ago, and he randomly started speaking to her in Spanish, which is unusual because they always speak to each other in English. He was acting suspicious, so I asked him what they were talking about since I don't understand Spanish, but he said "Oh, it was nothing important." However, it happened again today, so I asked him what the conversation was about, and he said "My mom wants me to let her use my credit card for $3,000. She said that she will pay it off in a year." I told him that we can't do that because that's our emergency credit card, and we can barely support ourselves, as we live paycheck to paycheck and we are also college students. I then found out that he went behind my back and had already sent her all of his credit card information, including access to his account. His mom and dad make well over 100k yearly, but his mom is really bad with money, so I don't think that it's right that we have to help her out when we can barely even support ourselves. We argue about money every day as it is, and I feel like this is the last straw for me. |
