So I tell my parents to meet their parents and since their mom stays home they'd be able to talk. But my parents don't listen to me they say I don't trust the parents but that's why you meet them >:( and I'm starting to feel depressed on how I'll be losin my friends. What do I do? |

Okay so I had this friend since high school we were friends for 6yrs but after we moved in together and I saw how she would glance at me and how I would find out from others she was talkin bout me after our lease was up (6months lease) I moved out and never spoke to her really. I was growing mentally and it was kinda hard to relate to her and her childish ways but I work at McDonald's I'm 19 it's close to my house I don't have a car yet I'm working towards it but she came to my job and she said "hi _____" ( I told her total at the drive through ) then she goes on to say " I see with your "LIL" McDonald's outfit". That word Lil is just sticking with me for some odd reason I said but I'm making money tho this is all in the drive through crazy thing is it's pretty cold out here in Northern California I wasn't even wearing my McDonald's outfit I was wearing a big dark purple jacket. I feel like she was throwing shade does anyone beg to differ? It's hurts yes because I'm kinda anti social I'm still dealing with some past traumas trying to heal from it still but she was really my only well I thought true friend. I never hated on her always wished her the best whenever she needed something id give it to her with no questions asked. Why are the people most closet to me throwing me under the bus like I don't even matter? |

Maybe I'm depressed idk my life just seems pointless and I'm a bad influence on my friends so they don't need me in their lives. I do drugs usally weed I alredy spent all my Christmas money on weed and now I'm sad lonely and broke. I don't know what exactly my question is here maybe how to ask for help bc I don't want to be like this. I'm failing most of my classes my mom dosent know and I also skip all the time which she also doesn't know she also donsnt know about the drugs or how much I hate life. I know I just sound like a stupid teenager but I just had a break down and self harmed again for the first time in a few months I'm just so nothing. He has no clue and I plan to keep it that way. I'm fine with being friends, but there are times where it eats away at me. His wife and I are on good terms, although I wouldn't call us "friends". I'm not sure how to develop a friendship with her, I'm awkward. I gave their family a bunch of Christmas presents and today, his wife came over and picked up some food I was giving them (guess he was at work). She hugged me and gave me a "thank you" card. When I got inside and opened it, there was money in it and one of the things the card said was "you're a blessing to us!" I imagine she picked it up on the way to my house, so it was all her...the card and money and kindness. I feel guilty now and I feel as though I don't deserve the card or the money or any of that. Some of my friends tried to convince me prior to her coming by, that she knows how I feel about her husband, but after this..I don't think she does. It'd be weird to try to give the money back, right? My paranoia is making me think she knows and is just trying to guilt trip me into falling out of love with her husband. What do you think? Please be gentle. You know sluts are people who sleep around, right? No sleeping around here! I don't plan on harming their marriage. I have plenty of self-control and respect for their marriage and family. If I was really as bad as people on here act like I am, I wouldn't have a guilty conscience. Like for example if we're sat down together at college and people come over and sit with us I know that if she wasn't there they wouldn't be sat with us. If I'm having a group conversation everyone always looks at her when they talk even though I'm also involved in the conversation. People always comment on how pretty she is and boys just seem to love her and always message her and I'm just always stood at the back like hey I exist. Throughout the year, we only send emails congratulating each other with a holiday and I think her mom makes her do it too. Last year, we met up after many years of not seeing each other. I still felt like her mom made her do it but I went to hang out with her friends and while I had a good time, it felt weird being there because I knew her mom wanted told her to ask me to hang out. If she was actually interested in hanging out with me she would have asked me to hang out with her in the summer- we have a longer break and at least the weather is warm. So, should I just ignore her email? It was sent minutes after her mom called my mom to wish her a happy new year so it's so obvious her mom made her write that email. I think her mom is just really curious about what I'm doing with my life these days. Then what should I do? |

Posted: 01 Jan 2018 12:31 PM PST I recently just finished my first semester at college mid-December, and I go to school with 3 people I knew from high school. One is my roommate and best friend from senior year, while the other 2 are on the football team which I am as well. When I first got there, we all seemed to get along ok, but as time went on I began to really feel like they were using me (for things such as having a car) which started to make me alienate myself from them. In high school I never really made friends until senior year, when my main one was my current roommate, but now those guys seemed to have gotten tight while I have pretty much haven't talked to them in a while. My focus at school has since been to try to make new friends fresh, but I really haven't made much progress there either. Now I am on break and taking most of January to do an internship at in town, but I still plan to go to campus to try to stay involved. My parents are disappointed, and fraternity rush is coming up here in late January, which I plan on trying to do. It doesn't feel right to not even talk to someone now who I was best friends with just a few short months ago over the summer. I am a very nice but shy and kind of socially awkward person. Any advice? |

My friend has taken me on the journey from sitting in her dental interview, to help orchestrating dental essay and application, to soliciting advice and giving encouraging words like any friend would. Well she got accepted into dental school and she didn't tell me plus received an Associate degree from a previous institute she had attended. I'm disappointed and hurt more than anything if her intentions were not to share the ending success with me then I should have never been as involved/invited along for the journey. Any opinions, what would you do? |

I went out of my way to make sure she got her gift before christmas. And had it shipped to her home because we live 2 hours away from each other. I made sure she had it in time so she can open it for christmas day. Around the 23rd of December she decides to start christmas shopping and while we were on the phone she asked for my email and address as if she was online about to send my Sephora E Gift card. But then she said something was wrong and her card kept getting declined. So she said she will check on that later. The next day she said her card was still getting declined and sephora was having some technical difficulties. I said no problem. Meanwhile she bought her cousin a gift card from the actual sephora store. I thought to myself why didnt she just grab me a gift card to and mail it to me. That seemed strange. So on the 28th of december still no gift card . i said did you try to send it again. she said no card still getting declined. And I suggested just mailing me the gift card. She said"Ill figure it out". So here we are 31st no mention of gift card. But she constantly texts me about new years eve plans. What do you guys think? |

Ever since i was a kid i have had big boobs. They look like They belong to a woman and They are Very big. They started growing When i was Very young and When My parents realized What was going on They took me to the clinic. The doctor examinated My chest and he told me i had a strange type of gynecomastia. It is When a boys chest grows significantly But usually it stops When you are around 18. Im 17 and i got a FF-cup size. People would stare and Call me names when i was a kid. Not just other kids but also adults would Call me names like whore and other stuff like that. The only people i could talk to was My best friend Jason and My parents. I remember one time when i was at a soccer game with My best friend Jason. We had a great time hals through the match But then something happend. I wore a pretty tight shirt because because of My big boobs and the shirt had a V-neck that didnt help at all. We sat by the stairs and then a few younger kids vane down and started throwing popcorn at My chest calling me names. People around me laughed and started calling me names and then a man behind me poored his cup of water on me. I was humilitated and i ended up bursting out crying. In the past few years she's been copying me a lot, even down to my personality. I'm a very silly person but nobody really thinks I'm funny- it's just how I am down to the core ever since I was a kid. And now my sister is trying to be like me, and I notice it very clearly. She's never been one to be like that. I also changed my hair to purple and she did the same thing. I then changed my hair to purple and blue, and lo and behold she did the same thing. Now she wears the same colors as me and it's just annoying, I feel a bit sucked dry. My parents and family know all my friends and that's my biggest problem. My closest friend Julia, she's nice but she is verbally abusive to me. When she's stressed, she takes it out on me. She gets very personal with her insults and once even went as far as to cuss at a dead relative of mine. She doesn't apologize for any of the abuse. My best friend Justin is alright, the more decent friend of mine. Thing is, I will always be there for him when he has family/relationship problems. But he didn't show up and I waited for about 5 hours. He apologized two days later and said he ignored my texts on purpose and blew all his money on alcohol and went drinking. Amy, is the oldest friend of mine among them three. She loves me and I love her but she has a clique of her own. Rich, popular and beautiful girls. I'm none of that and most times she's talking, I can't relate. My family members know all of them and my mother loves them but I never try to make my friends look bad to my family. | Posted: 01 Jan 2018 01:22 AM PST Last night while leaving a night club an altercation arose, a group of men came over and started shouting at us, immediately I was about to run but instead I walked behind my group of friends. I'm really embarrassed about it but it just happened then the group struck 3 of my friends and I froze, one approached me, he just hit my friend on the head twice and I still couldn't hit him I just said we don't want any trouble we just want to leave, he left me but started hitting my friends again, I just went in then and pushed them away and pulled my friends away and pushed my friends out of the fight telling them to forget about it. We got away but I'm embarrassed, my friends have marks on their faces from those boys hitting them and I feel I let my boys down when it counted. The only positive I can take is we are all OK but I'm ashamed of myself. First of all I wanted to run, second of alli let my friends get hit a lot before I did anything and lastly instead of hitting the others I pulled my friends away preventing them from getting the others back, they said nothing to me about it but I am really disappointed with myself. |

There would be times where I hadn't seen her for two weeks or a month, but this time I hadn't seen her for over 2 months despite living a few minutes away!! Every time I asked her to hang out she would be busy, but never suggested another time to meet. Despite her busy schedule, she was able to meet her boyfriend plenty of times who lives an hour away from her... eventually I was able to talk to her about it and she said that she knew she hadn't seen me in a while and claimed to feel guilty the past months. She mentioned how her bf was going through something and had to help him. But that's it... She didn't apologize and it doesn't sit right with me... She just told me that she felt guilty and told me about how her boyfriend was going through something to justify her behavior for the past couple of months... She then went on a short vacation and I didn't know she was back in town until I saw a photo she posted in social media with her boyfriend... I'm honestly mad but I don't know what to do since I already discussed it with her. I need all the advice I can get as she is the only best friend I have. Posted: 01 Jan 2018 12:06 AM PST I have been working at my job for a year now, and I'm not sure why, but whenever some of my coworkers plan parties or outings, I never get an invite. I have a reputation for being quiet and shy, but I'm still friendly enough to talk to people. It hurts when I open their Snapchat stories and see them having fun. I've always tried to be nice and start convos and none of them seem to dislike me at work so I'm not sure what it is I do wrong... I don't know if I should ask why they don't invite me? Or if I should just leave it alone and try to get another job? |

| Question: How can I get more popular in middle school? Posted: 31 Dec 2017 11:07 PM PST For my New Years resolution I want to become more popular. I'm already a little bit popular (around 180 people see my snapchat story) but that's not a lot compared to other people. I play hockey and and I'm not one of the weird kids. I hang out with some of the popular kids but they never ask to go places. Any help on how I can get on a higher level of popularity? |

Posted: 31 Dec 2017 09:47 PM PST I'm a disgrace, tonight me and 4 friends were waiting on a taxi home and 3 men and approached us shouting at us, I'm the tallest and the biggest and my initial reaction was to run but I stood my ground, then I decided to walk behind my friends 2 got punched in the face through no provoking I just stood and watched asking the other to stop. Then one of my mates fell and was about to get kicked on the head when I jumped in and pulled him up and out I then ran to pull my other mate out and pushed them away, they were covered in blood but I just pushed them away, when I got home I realised my shirt was covered in blood and when I lifted it there was a braze from a knife and it was pumping blood, I passed out and now I'm in hospital, I remember it all but I'm ashamed. 1) I wanted to run 2) I walked behind my friends 3) I let 2 mates get badly hurt before I intervened 4) when I. Intervened I hit nobody even though they hurt my mates I just pulled my mates down the street 5) I allowed one of them to stick me in the chest with a knife. I'm embarrassed one of my friends could have been seriously hurt because of my cowardly behaviour, I am ashamed of myself, how can I be braver and stand up to this |

He says hes just joking but he constantly brings it up but this time he told me that he thinks im really gay and that i should come out of the closet?? i dont show any signs that im gay cause im not but he keeps pressuring me and harrassing me. im straight but he says im lieing and im trying to cover it up |

This past summer, however, my sister and I were asked to work on a project, and she was not. Apparently, she was offended, and was not very nice to us. This blew up around Thanksgiving when the project was finished and she didn t have her name on it. So now she is working on the next project with us, and is supposed to not be so unkind. However, a week ago, I asked her how I did on something, and she criticized me very much. Do I confront her about her harsh remarks, or just let it go? I hope this all makes sense. |

But starting this year, she s been snotty to me. I was having a sleepover at her house with other people and every time I talked to her, she would ignore me and continue to talk to Nabana (another girl.) And whenever I was in the way, she would say "Move" really rudely. And I would just laugh it off, but she wouldn t. She was mean and ignored me, and now she isn t answering my texts! Posted: 31 Dec 2017 06:19 PM PST Long story short: I have had this friend for 9 months, we've known each other a year and a half. He's married with a family. When we first met and for the first 6 months, I couldn't stand him. I also didn't take the time to get to know him. Once we became friends, I couldn't stop myself from developing feelings for him. There's just something about him. He invited me to his church (nondenominational and very casual) back in May and he used to give me rides to and from church (almost never alone) because I lost my license. We've only ridden alone together twice, one time was at night and nothing happened. We used to flirt A LOT, but it's toned down some. I've started referring to him as my "bro", so that people don't get the wrong idea. He's a VERY intelligent man, so I am not completely convinced he believes I love him like a bro, but he's never mentioned otherwise. His wife is cool with me. We're not friends per se, but we're sweet to each other. For Christmas, I gave him, his wife and his kids a whole bunch of presents. My family ended up with some extra food that some of my family members sent so I asked him if they wanted the extras and he said sure, he'd come by tomorrow after work and pick it up. If he knows how I feel, is it weird he's not trying to stop my behavior? Also, recently, he acted like he wanted to meet any guy I was potentially interested in, to make sure they're a good fit for me lol. We're 11 years apart in age. And yes I realize this is a bad situation. I do respect his marriage and family, even though it may not look like it. The time we rode alone together at night, when we pulled into my driveway, I knew I was getting too into my feels so I immediately got out, but he continued the convo. as I stood outside the car, despite saying earlier that he could give me a ride home, but he had to be "quick". I tried my best to control myself. Not reading into anything. I'm simply asking if he DOES know, which I think he may, why does he not do anything to stop it? He practically encourages my behavior. |
