I use to have a high libido, but I'm the one who initiates having sex about 85-90 percent of the time. I try to be subtle about hooking up by trying to make out with him. Sometimes I'm not so subtle and I'll just straddle his lap, but he never seems to get that I want to have sex unless I verbally ask him. It has been like this from the start. But today, I asked him if he wanted to watch a movie with me this weekend and he said he's busy. And then I told him I like him, and he said "Ok…?" And then I felt awkward and I said "alright see ya later" and he said "ok bye! see ya later!" Obviously, in most cases, this would be an obvious rejection. But it's a bit complicated for me because he just moved here from another country about 6 months ago and English is his second language. I'm not sure if he understood my implication and was rejecting me or if he thought I was telling him that I do not dislike him and therefore did not know how to respond. I mean, we don't have any classes together this year and I approached him kind of out of the blue and he was excited about it, even though he's a pretty quiet person who tends to keep mostly to himself because he's from a more conservative culture. But he has narcissistic personality disorder, his affection towards me was just an act to try to manipulate me into doing sexual things he knew I wasn't into, his act slipped and there were warning signs...I ended it. As he wasn't abusive it's hard for me to think of him as a jerk, of course I know he is and that the person I thought he was didn't actually exist. He didn't feel anything for me and to him I'm easy to replace, he's likely got someone new and forgotten me already - in the mean time I've spent the past few months heartbroken. It's hard to get my head around this idea that someone can be so fake and view someone as replaceable, I'm the opposite and I don't get intimate with someone without feeling a connection I believe is worthy of pursuing. Every guy I've dated I consider as having importance in my life...so this is so difficult for me. |

She just got a brand new pool and is excited about it. This coming week is her mothers 1 year mark since she passed away and she's been very devestated. Would I look dumb buying her a new pool float and mailing it to her? (Like just a bed float you lay on?) she's an older person in the late 50's) I figured it would add a tiny bit of joy to the sad week. What do you think? |
