We were long-distance (I live in the midwest, she lives on the east coast), and we couldn't see each other too much because her current work schedule. I visited her 4 times, but she couldn't visit me because her job has been awful to her (she's really trying to look for a new job). Whenever we did hang out in person, I honestly felt really happy. As of late, we were just having logistical issues trying to figure out when we would see each other next, and I m looking at a couple new job opportunities that could strain our relationship further, so I decided to break it off until things became more clear in a couple months or so. Now I feel empty. I let go of someone I truly care about, got to know REALLY well, and who I got along with, but I knew it would be more painful if we kept waiting. She was the best girl I ever dated, and I could honestly see us together long-term if it wasn't for the distance. Am I just going through a phase? I really want her back, but at the same time I want to make sure we can work logistically because it's not fair to both of us to feel so frustrated about not seeing each other. I'm also afraid that if it somehow came to a point where it could work again, she could be seeing someone else. I really don't want distance to be a factor given we're both working professionals who can afford airfare. Advice would be appreciated. |

Things were going great, until she started dating this abusive guy. I like my current boyfriend a lot and enjoy him as a person, but I still can't get over my ex-boyfriend. I recently told my ex-boyfriend the truth about what happened and why I broke up with him, because that guilt has carried with me and he deserved to know the truth. He's been distant but seems to just want to forget about it. I know he still likes me, and I can't seem to shake how I lost such a good person. The thing is, I also like my current boyfriend, but I still want to be friends with my ex-boyfriend at the very least. Even then, I still miss the security and the history we had and really care about my ex a lot. And put a lol behind it..he said "you know what I mean lol" He has used the word pretty, like said my picture looked pretty..usually he says you look nice if I fish for a compliment if we are dressed to go out. | Question: Why does he keep coming to me for advice idk what to tell him? Posted: 03 May 2017 06:27 PM PDT My guy friend has a girlfriend , they've been together for one year and he is miserable. He is very affectionate and she doesn't give him any affection back he likes to cuddle ,kiss,hold hands etc and she never initiates any of that. He pays all of the bills and she only pays her half of the rent and she makes a lot more money than he does and he buys the washing powder ,dish detergent etc so basically she only pays for one thing. He finds it weird that she goes to her moms house every single day. When he calls her he says that she acts like he's bothering her. Also he says he has tried to break up with her once before and she went to his bestfriend and tried to talk him into getting them back together.... he talks about leaving her then calls me and complains about how he feels about her and how he dislikes her personality ... Tl:dr; why won't he leave her then? I'm trying to be a good friend and be supportive but I don't get him |
| Posted: 03 May 2017 06:25 PM PDT So I'm a book type and I was at a Starbucks in Los Angeles reading a book on psychology, this attractive brunnette and I started talking about it and the different theories in history then we got into history discussions and before we knew it three hours flew by, we ended up eating lunch together at a different place and we kissed afterwards. We continued to see eachother and ir was going really well until this guy came up to her and called her a different name her stage name and she explained to me that she does porn but that she cares for me and wants to keep seeing me. My mom met hr amd she loves her we've been going out for 3 months. She was surprised that I didn't know what she did for a living. I don't know what to do, I don't know if I should see her and I really don't know how I could explain this to my mom and family....how could I spin this? |
