But they really don't invite me to anything. Sometimes it's because they are hanging out with different friends and I'm fine with that, but they often don't even invite me to things that they do together. I don't know how to ask them without seeming desperate af, but I also can't miss out forever. |

I had a bad feeling about her once we met and kept my distance. She has a small job at the yoga studio we go to and I had to work with her here and there when I got a small job there 6 months ago. I don't believe in age discrimination but I find it weird that someone who's 20 years older than us goes out of her way to hang out. I noticed that all she does is talk about people, especially my friend and i felt uncomfortable bc she wasn't there. She asked me all these analytical & hypothetical questions about her or say, "i thought she would be a pushover but she's not." She would be way too nosy for my preference (so I stopped listening to her) and seemed to have "a lot of knowledge" about everyone. She'll notice if someone was "snobby" towards her (and convince everyone) when in reality, that someone was definitely busy/stressed out. Once she asked me something personal just because my friend causally mentioned it once. After working with her for one class, I felt sick to my stomach. I wanted to talk to my friend about her. We eventually met up and turns out she noticed things about her too. We shared stories and apparently Amy tells my friend, "she's dumb, stupid, kind of an air head, and she never pays attention to me when I'm talking. I don't see how you guys are friends. You're too different." (Implying that I'm too dumb to be friends w. my friend). This LADY is an acquaintance! She hasn't gotten to know me at all! If anything, she just fishes for gossip! She also told my friend that she would drop me. WTH?! We were never friends! I was only nice to her bc of my friend! She also tested me to see if I would open up and be smart by asking me my opinion about cyber-bullying (the timing was suspicious) and I just gave her a distant answer. It's hard for me to be fake nice when I know the truth. She also admitted to my friend that she's fake nice to people on purpose. People like her thrive off of any kind of attention so confronting means nothing. I want to continue to ignore her and be "professional" but it's hard and I'm pissed. The nerve this woman. We agreed to go on hiatus for prom season, graduation tims, and finals week and we would get back together during the summer as we thought it could be damaging to our relationship. He went to prom with a "group" his stupid football friends. It had to be the most magcal perfect night of my life of course though-and since im the coolest girl in the school i figured id spread some love and give this guy in my math class who thinks hes hot **** and is kinda not so cute the best night of his whole life. I went to him at lunch and told him the deal and wed need to have a promposal so i gave him a list of things i like and told him the promposal should run at about $150. I think he had to pay for my dress, so i asked for a $500 Macys gift card. I picked out my dress and bought him a nice suit. I also required he take me out to dinner with appetizers, entrees, desserts, the works! Im popular after all. His dad also owns a Chevy Camaro and i demanded he gets his dad to let him drive me in it or it was off. He pulled some family strings and got the car and took me for dinner. Now my boyfriend is hot so is this other boy who went with his girl who wasnt as pretty as me so i fogured obviously prom king and queen would be me and that other cute guy or even my bf. My sister graduated in '09 and they awarded seperateky. However i was queen and HE WAS KING!! no!!! help! |

She's giving me hugs all the time, every day she hugs me at least 4 times and usually there's no special reason for it. She does it when I come home (that's kind of normal I guess), she randomly comes into my room just to hug me or when I'm sitting on the couch she sits down right beside me & hugs me or even wants to cuddle with me. I mean, I have nothing against it... I really love hugs & cuddling. And she's always so sweet while doing it, like she tells me how much she loves me or that I'm an awesome sister. Of course I also hug her but I think that she might do it too often & there could be a reason I know not of? Because it was not always like that. He started crying and the teacher went to him, he didn't do anything but tell him to get over it. During the conflict, he told me that I was the reason he was going to commit suicide. WTF. He literally told me multiple times that if he says that then he is lying. Later in the day we talked to the principal. He told A LOT of lies and started crying when I told him he was lying. Then during recess him and his gang of girls came over and decided to give us a lecture. One of the girls is one that I can't stand. She said that I was a bully. My friends were with me too btw. They know I'm not one. Then she starts to say that I said that the boy should kill himself. again WTF. I NEVER DID. My friends were there the whole time and saw everything. They might end up getting introuble at the end. But what I am asking is if I am a bully? He and his "gang" kind of bullies me too tho. And also how am I going to ignore them tomorrow? ALL OF THEM? She lives far away but we talk often, she has been struggling through times, so I will often send sweet letters of encouragement to her (in the mail). She always seems to love them, I'll send them once every 2 months.. She has helped me so much this year as I struggled after losing 4 family members in a terrible car accident. I want to write her a letter, thanking her for helping me get through this very dark year. Although I'm afraid she won't like it. Her wonderful free spirited friendship was unlike any I had ever experienced before or have since. In those years we vacationed together twice at my family reunion in the south, went to dozens and dozens of concerts, amusement parks, sporting events, parties, clubs, movies, dinner with our families in front of the television, regular outings in the city and many other memorable events. My family loved her and her family loved me. It was pleasantly platonic and my heart danced in the joy of it. Near the end of our friendship journey together she got back with her High School sweetheart whom she had longed for from the 1st day I met her. She got pregnant and the last time I saw her was in late 1999 at her baby shower. She had told me in the past that he was jealous of me. He had honestly had nothing to fear from me as a rival for her but as a man I can totally understand his anxiety. Even though I met a very nice woman in 2002 and we got married a couple of years latter I frequently reminisce about my great friendship with Mayva. Phone numbers and addresses have changed but I found out that she finally Married her High School love, moved to Pennsylvania, and has had 4 children with him. Good for her. I've deemed this "The Mystery of Mayva" because she will not respond to my attempts to contact her. In 2011 I sent her a greeting card with my complete contact information enclosed. I did not hear back from her. This year I found her on Facebook as well as with her Mother and Sister. Facebook has alerted me that my simple hello and Merry Christmas message was seen moments later but there has been no response to my message or the friend request. I am at a loss... The absolute best memories of my youth are being tarnished and I do not know the reason why. Does she not want to reply? Is she not able to replay? I did nothing to deserve this rejection from my old friend.......... We were inseparable. |

Anyway her best friend is the same age as her and they knew each other since kindergarten and they've been best friends since then. The face of a deaf guy I knew a few years ago. But, this face had more facial hair. But, he was his doppelganger nonetheless. And after making a hello wave sign language sign in front of me, I quickly realized that it was NOT the deaf guy, but just a very close lookalike who was just made an awkward gayish pass at by another straight guy. One girl has even said that i'm good looking(one I have crush on. She didn't say it to me directly, but I overheard her.). She also wraps her legs around my legs, puts her head on my shoulder. I'm 14.Does she like me ? Why do so many girls even care about me ? I'm a guy. Sometimes she flirts with me. |

I didn't think it was so important and. I'm not gonna blame it on my lack but of social behavior but i just didn't mean to . And he confronted me telling me how he expected something else from me and how everyone's judging me behind my back . And. That this was the last time he'll ever think of asking me anything. And i told him that i was extremely sorry and that I didn't mean to and i know he forgives me but I can't. I can't believe i did it and I can't stop crying or thinking about it because they're right and I'm such an a**hole . And how am I supposed to go to school tomorrow when I can't look anyone in the eye. What should i do? |

I thought she was joking at first. But we have lunch the other day and she brought it up again " so have you given the though on naming your baby after bobs burgers?" I told her oh I thought that was a joke. She looked extremely offended... I don't know why she's offended, I should be the one who is offended. Anyways... my pregnant friend said she is constantly bombarded with people telling her what to name her baby. Even strangers. When I meet someone who is pregnant of get news of my friend being pregnant, the last thing I would ever do is suggest the name for their baby. Specially if they don't ask. |
| Question: I can't find my school ID so I can't take my permit test? Posted: 03 May 2017 11:08 AM PDT Yesterday we were packing up to go get my written test and just before my mom was ready to walk out the door she said "Where is your school ID" I didn't know so she said we can't do the test. so I spend the rest of the day turning the house upside down looking for it but I couldn't find it. Also not to go off topic, but my brother took his friend's school ID and said he'll give it back on his senior year. So I don't know what is happening to him when he takes it. but anyways. a new ID costs $50 dollars which I don't have, my mom refuses to get me a new one. how do I find it. I last saw it September 2016 |

Posted: 03 May 2017 11:02 AM PDT My friend's step-dad was apparently sitting on their teenage daughter's bed having a conversation in his t-shirt and underwear (tighty whities) like it was no big deal. She has mentioned other times where he would walk from bathroom to bedroom naked and so forth, and on a acouple of occasions being seen by the step daughter. He doesn't see anything wron with this behavior, but my friend feels rather uncomfortable about it and is considering leaving after the last incident. (The one where he was sitting on the bed in his t-shirt and underwear.) She says this behavior makes her feel unsettled. Is she overreacting, or should she be concerned? |
| Question: What should you do if you really don't like your friend anymore? Posted: 03 May 2017 09:55 AM PDT We met 2 years ago cause we like the same band and we go to events together. But she is so annoying. One thing I can't stand is she's always copying me. I know it sounds childish but it's how I feel. She keeps saying different little catch phrases I say, she is starting to try to dress like me and do her hair like me. She wasn't getting her nails done or wearing heels until we met now all of a sudden she makes a big deal that she does. She always has to start liking other things I like that she wasn't even thinking of. She even started calling her man what I call mine when she wasn't before. When I call her out on it, even just playing around she's like no....and makes up an excuse. It's annoying. The other thing is she acts like she's all wholesome and pure. Everything is mean to her. Then she always says stuff to piss me off and then wants to drop it. She always giving me qualities that don't belong to me when she talks about me. It's like, that doesn't even sound like me. Do you pay attention at all? Then it's like she wants to be seen as the little baby innocent one and she wants people to protect her. My whole thing is, I'm not fighting your battles. You're a grown woman. I know all of this sounds petty but...I just don't like her and I don't want to be friends anymore cause I feel it would be wrong to secretly dislike your friend. I don't wanna be that girl...I dont know what to do. And I've told her this stuff. I point it out and she just makes an excuse or defends it. |

They keep asking me to hang out with them and then get annoyed when I make excuses. But the truth is that I just don't want to hang out with them at all! In school I just imagine how nice it would be not to be freinds with them and go back to my old freinds or other people I'm closer with. However i can't tell them that I don't want to hang out with them as they will definitely talk about me and possible tell people I'm friends with and get them to turn their back on me. This one girl is so manipulative I know that she will not make it easy. HOW DO I STOP BEIJG FREINDS WITH THEM QUICK BEFORE THIS HAPPENS. Ps I walk with one girl so I can't just leave them behind. |
| Question: Super social followed by suclution? Posted: 03 May 2017 09:44 AM PDT I have periods where I'm so social and loud I almost don't recognize myself. I'm definitely happy when I'm totally social but I feel like it affects my life in a way that I work less because of it and I don't focus on school work like I use to. when I'm social I totally have control of the situation but it almost feels out of control. (I don't drink/smoke/drugs) then I have times where I get to sit and think and realize that I was being stupid. & I shouldn't be social since it puts me in a bad place. I don't know why it is but when I take a minute I can be thinking in my head that I have nothing to benefit from the person there4 should cut ties with the person. But its like I'm legit using people which sounds so rude. I have a friend i got really close to and lived with her for a few weeks after she broke up with her boyfriend. I helped pick herself back up. We never fought or things like that and I was totally devoted to her. Let her have almost anything. Then I realized that she's super self centered. And thinks her intelligence is way up there. (she's knowledgeable but not the smartest I've seen but trys acting as if she is. She would say I'm trying to grow and just cause I'm smart...Like other people are so stupid..) I need to remove myself from her slowly. She's so controlling. |
| Question: Will I get in trouble for doing this? Posted: 03 May 2017 09:23 AM PDT I am a college student with a VERY limited amount of money. I needed a place to stay that is as cheap as possible. A fellow student told me to check out a place that might let me trade off work for a place to stay. I was met by 2 fairly attractive women who looked to me to be in their early 40s. They showed me the room in their home and it was great. For free rent I had to do several things. I had to keep the yard mowed. This would be no problem for me. They told me they were both gay and asked if I had a problem with that. I told them no problem. I was not gay but it was fine with me it they were. They told me I would see them in various states of being undressed around the house. Some times they would have no clothes on. I told them that also was fine with me. I could not imagine how any straight male would object to seeing women with out any cloths on even if they were gay. The last condition for the room was that a few times a year they needed a male escort to the country club for dinner and parties. They said they would pay for everything. This seemed like a great deal for me so I plan to move in next week. Am I getting in over my head? Is there some problem I have not thought of? Any advice would be appreciated |

The top student in our class is really a mean girl and suddenly she starts hating on certain people. Today she targeted me without any reason. I really hate her because of how my close friend used to hate her but now they talk and laugh often which makes me extremely jealous and causes me to hate her even more. But I havent ever shown my hate towards her and kept a smile on my face and today without any reason I saw her telling her friends about how she hates me with some unpleasant words beside it which really turned me off. Im extremely sad right now and I have anxiety of how in future she might make me look down and worthless by giving negative comments on my comments for certain things as Ive seen she doing it to others. Any advice of not caring and just being happy? My finals are near and whole focus is on this worthless thing but unfortunelty this "worthless issue* has really gotten into me. :( |

Her aunt was extremely close to her, so about a month later she showed me a message her grandad that she didn't read completley. It said" hey kiddo, hope you're having fun. Is great in spain with luisa and james. Your nan is great too. Luisa and james' credit card has stopped working oh know :o got to go lol x" Luisa is her aunt...how could her aunt be there and dead? I didn't say anything. And later that months she put a status"happy birthday to. The best aunt ever luisa, lots of love and jelly tots- see you tomorrow xxx" I asked her about it she said her grave. I understood. Then I saw a comment on the post. From luisa. "Love you to, the cake was beautiful.just like you. Love you lots xx" I asked her about it. I said to her" is luisa dead? I saw her comment on the post on facebook.." She snapped at me. Saying I never believe her and it was her creeping out james(luisa's husband) but when I asked her to write a status(I have troble believing her A LOT as she is known for lying) she said no and wouldn't tell me where luisa's grave is or anything..she also told us at school she was going to die in a year, I went to her mum who denied that instantly...soon after she said she was leaving school. Her granparents(who she moved in with) do pick her up often so she might not lie about that..but she's said four times now that its her last day. She keeps avoiding the topic as if she wants us to forget, help? Why does she lie so much, to me aswell. We class eachother as sisters? |

I told her I do not share food bc it is expensive and it'll defeat the purpose of even renting the room out. She said I'm welcome to any of her food. And she started mixing her stuff w mine n I went and separated it. She is still acting like she wants to use my food. If I have to feed her, I do not want a roommate bc it'll defeat the purpose. Not only is does the author share the last name, but she writes beautifully about her mother and going through her mother dying of cancer. I just found out that my friend's mom will be in hospice care now... When I read the book a few months ago I thought about my friend and thought I should give this book to her. |

I am always very kind to people, like if my friends or anyone needs help, I'll do my best to help them, especially with university homework. I don't have the ability to ignore. I feel bad if I don't help even if I know they don't deserve it, I still help where I can :( often people don't appreciate it, they'll speak to me rudely or ignore me. I dont understand how people can actually be so mean. Sometimes when I see someone I know, I'll greet them out of kindness and they'll just ignore and carry on walking. I have also been told many times by random people that I am very beautiful or perfect also I'm not from the country that I'm in right now which is South Africa, just came for university. It was my birthday and people purposely didn't wish me and on social media, I'll hardly get likes from them...it's like they ignore what I post and I post seldom so I can't be bothering them. I am also a nerd and spend most of my time studying. I don't know what I do wrong but people give off very unfriendly signs. What could I be doing wrong? |

| Question: I feel depressed... I don't know if I should feel that way? Posted: 03 May 2017 06:02 AM PDT My situation at school is not the best, I'd say it's bad. I know school is place where people learn, I don't have problems with it but I think not much people feel good there when they have no friends to talk with. I'm the one of those people who feels awful when they don't have friend to talk with. Not only in school, I have no friends at all. Well, I have one but to her I am that friend who she cares about only if others ignore her and she wants to chat. Today I felt more sad than usual, I don't know if I should. So, that friend is girl 'that everyone wants to be friends with'. I always walk home with her and today another girl offered her to eat ice cream after school and she didn't even warn me that she won't be able to go home together. Because of this, I waited at school for her alot. After some time of waiting I remembered that during lunch break they were talking about going somewhere after school... i went home alone then. How to 'survive' school without real friends? |
