Question: I walked in on my wife screwing a another girl? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 08:51 PM PST I'm a guy and as some would say I should be jealous or have a three way I'm very upset. I love my wife, and she never even told me she was bi because she didn't want to hurt me or make me worried she says. I came home from work early, walked in the house, and saw her and this girl. She instantly told the girl she had to go and the girl didn't know about me either. The girl and her had been dating for two months she told me and she did it because I wasn't into bondage sex and females were. How would you go about this in your marriage? |
Posted: 01 Mar 2016 08:29 PM PST I feel bad to always bring up the past of his addiction but the way he sometimes looks or takes to long in the bathroom or people he associates with or gets a cold all of sudden just makes me bring it up every time. I always tell him are you lieing to me or you using again. And, it gets in my head and assume and cry and yell at him. I still don t trust him! I still hide our money and always looking in his truck or looking thru his phone. He has been sober for years now. What's wrong with me? Why do I still suspect and accuse? |

Question: What are the odds my parents don't divorce? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 08:17 PM PST They haven't slept in the same room for 2 months They don't speak to each other unless necessary They both try to do me favors and win me over (I'm away in college so this gets interesting.) They both blame each other for the conflict My mom wants to go to see a marriage counselor but my dad refuses (he's always been on the arrogant side, would rather walk away from a conflict than try to resolve it if it puts his ego on the line. ) They go on tirades about each other all the time Right now, I'm leaning towards them for sure splitting. |
Question: Proposing to my autistic girlfriend? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 07:03 PM PST I've decided to propose to my girlfriend of 2 years(friend for 4), but I'm not sure how to do it. My girlfriend is a literal genius which,as she has informed me, comes with setbacks. She has somewhat sever aspergers, social anxiety, OCD, Generalized Anixety, etc. So, I don't want to make a big deal. She says big proposals are ridiculous and make her anxious. I don't want this HUGE MOMENT to scare her too much. So, how do I do this without surprising her too much, or making a big deal out of it? Please don't insult my girlfriend, aspergers is a serious disorder. |
Question: Is it wrong to have a "revengeful affair"? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 07:02 PM PST My spouse, who I've been married to for five years, had been cheating on me on and off in the beginning of our marriage. He had promised to never do it again and suggested we both go to marriage counseling to regain our trust in each other, so I complied. We had thought the marriage counseling paid off and that our marriage was back on track, so we discontinued the counseling, and went back on with out lives. Fast forward to three years into out marriage, and he's back cheating on me. My nosiness is what had always gotten my husband caught when he would have an affair with another woman. I eventually gave up trying to make our marriage work, so I seeing someone almost two years ago. I feel like I'm in love with this person and can trust him more than the man to whom I am married. My spouse doesn't know about my affair, but I know about his. Am I wrong for cheating on him to get even? *I began seeing someone two years ago. |

Question: Has anyone used online Divorce Writer websites? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 05:41 PM PST Unfortunately, my wife and I are getting divorced but luckily for us we have agreed upon how to split assets and custody of our son. The one attorney I've talked to wanted $2,000 for this process, and I've sent out communications for pricing from others but have also been reading up on online divorce services, such as MyDivorcePapers.com and was curious if anyone has any experience with any of these and if they are advisable or if people would caution against using them? My wife and I are in perfect agreement on child custody as well as monetary and property divisions, so the online option for 1/4 the cost is enticing. Thanks in advance. |

Question: Marry or not to marry young?? HELP? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 04:38 PM PST I am currently 17 and i have been dating the same boy since i was 15. He is currently getting deployed to japan (he just graduated the marine school) and will be there for two years. I know I am very young but I KNOW i truly care about him and want to marry him but, he wants to marry me as soon as im 18. Question: How can I prove my ex-wife is lying to the kids about me? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 03:14 PM PST The kids are questioning me because she says I cheated with other women, left the kids because the other women I loved more, and that I chose to divorce the family. In reality we divorced amicably and the only wrong doing I had was some arrogance and I am not well organized financially (I was reckless there). I never cheated in fact to this day I have not been on a date 3 years after the divorce. Lastly I love the kids tremendously and it is why I was reluctant to agree to the divorce (my wife purposed it). So how do I prove her wrong without further hurting the kids? |
Question: How much do you pay an overnight babysitter? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 02:12 PM PST I have 3 kids (one with behavior issues). My husband and I are going away on their spring break...It's the only time I can get away because I am a teacher. How much would you pay someone a day to babysit the children all day/night for 7 days? I ask because my sister-in-law asked if she could watch the kids and I spent $600 on her and her husband's airline tickets and my husband got so mad at me and said it was too expensive, but I tried to tell him that they're family and it would be way more expensive to hire a sitter. And I trust my sister-in-law. |
Question: Does your Partner Creates Problem from Nothing? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 02:01 PM PST Here's my story My wife constantly makes problem from nothing. She focuses more with relatives and family friends relationships more than our relationship. Her mind compares with what we have and what they have. I explained to her that..."Good Luck to them and Who am I to interfere in what they do with their relationship" and she should focus on our marriage as this is what we are committed to. There are times when I experienced low state of mind when contracting career, education with my friends that holds are better position but it's life and everyone have their own self-efficacy of their own performance. I am becoming depressed because I have been so good to her and I never said anything wrong but now she is taking to far now that I can't handle it no more. It's becoming to much for me which is now affecting my mental state. I have been to see my Doctor and my BP is 183 / 88 which is very high. How would you handle this situation? What would you do? |

Question: My wife can't make smart decisions? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 01:16 PM PST My wife graduated as a Nurse Practitioner in Dec. 2014 and pass her license exam in Sept. 2015. She still have not found a Job yet as an NP, but before this, she works as a RN and also have a second CONTRACT Job as a NP preceptor instructor. This contract is typically for 3 months each semester(fall, Spring, Summer). And we all know that you can't break a contract unless you want to end up in court. This college she contracts with has continually begged her to renew the instructor contract each semester and she continually renews and by doing so, short changing her self and wasting time in finding a NP job. She renewed a contract to teach this spring and told them that this spring is the last she would do it. Now she is texting me telling me that they are begging her to stay and teach this summer. I told her what I thought and that is to say no because the longer she waits to get a job as an NP, the less likely she will ever become one. I told her if she did that, that means she can't cancel the contract, without legal ramifications, if she ever found a job as an NP in the middle of her teaching. I told her that the school do not care about her NP career and that if they could find a way to disuade her from pursuing the NP career and stay with the school as an instructor, that they would. .. but my wife is so stubborn and money hungry that she only sees things in the short term. I told her not to ruin her career just for the love of short term salary. The reason she is doing what she is doing is for extra money, not that she loves it to be an Instructor. She already has her main Job as an RN for now until she can find an NP job. |

Posted: 01 Mar 2016 12:35 PM PST Weve tried every possible position, location etc. We love each other, so this is not a big deal. But we're both on the agreement that sex is now boring. It was almost inevitable, considering how long we have been together, and how often we have sex. I seen an article on here saying the longer you're away from someone, the better it is. Have you tried this? If I send here away for a few weeks, then when she comes home we have sex, is that likely to feel better, and new? Because we would have missed each other? Lol @ chickita weve been together 24 years, the trying to impress stopped about a few years in. maybe that's the problem. Weve stopped trying enough lol |
Question: I m 16 my boyfriend is 21 can we get married? Question: My husband and I are separated.. He disconnected my phone:(. Why does he act like this? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 11:33 AM PST He got angry with me and left 2 months ago. I'm still trying to figure it out. My 27 year old daughter asked him why he left and all he says is, "your mom knows why I left". For the life of me I don't know. This has been a pattern from him for 30 years. He gets mad and leaves and comes back. One time he was gone for 2 years. He did continue to pay the bills, but only because I got a lawyer. He dropped by the house with all the utility bills and demanded that I pay them. I have a job, but he earns 10 times more than I do. I can't pay them. I buy groceries and provide for our teenager abd that's what I've been doing. When I informed him that I can't pay the bills he then cuts off my phone. My teenaged son and i share a data plan. I never use more than 3 gigs. My son on the other hand uses 18 gigs a month and tge bill was high because of him. My part stayed at 50 dollars. He will still have a 300 dollar phone bill even witjout me on it. I said, oh well. I have also been giving his mom money a little along the way. She's elderly and has a hard time paying for her medicine. I still help her even though he's gone. When he cut my phone off I told him that id been helping his mom. I originally didn't want to say anything and kept it a secret. He then says, "because you have been nice to my mom i have turned your phone back on". I already went and got my own line in my name.. I don't know what to do. He often gets angry because I get tired of bending to his wil. Why does he do this? |
Question: My husband took advantage of me when I was drunk? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 11:32 AM PST Last night what my husband did is really bothering me a lot today. He was sleeping, so one of my friends (a girl and I'm straight) asked me if I wanted to go out to the bar. I said sure. We had a few drinks together. I came back home around 10pm after buying some snacks and my husband was awake and clearly really angry. He told me he didn't like it when I drank. The thing is I only do it maybe once every few months. I said okay, and apologized. He then said he wanted me out. He told me he was going to give me a 60 day notice and we were broken up. I got kind of angry and told him to just go back to sleep. He then started eating all the food I picked up. ...Well I guess that's okay. He then said he didn't mean it and said sorry and hugged me. But then this is what really bothered me.... He threw me onto the bed and wanted to have sex. I was pretty drunk and all I can remember is saying "no stop, it hurts!" but he did it anyway. It still hurts today. He never did this before. I feel really hurt, like maybe he took advantage of me when I was drunk...and it was after he evicted me as well. I feel like a piece of garbage. I told him it bothered me and just because I was drinking doesn't give him the right to treat me like garbage. He said the sex was fine since I am his wife....but he evicted me and broke up with me...and tbh we arn't even married, we are just common law since we live together. Does he not love me anymore? Did I do something wrong? Or was it him? |

Question: Can I get rich off of marriage and divorce in the US? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 10:57 AM PST I was thinking, I could just move to a state that has lifetime alimony, put in my ten years then hire a lawyer, get a divorce and lifetime alimony. Then I could just do it again (although if I re-marry I might lose my alimony from my first husband not sure) But atleast I could get a boyfriend and then sue him for palimony. Or, even if you do lose alimony when you re-marry, you could just live off your current alimony until you find an even richer guy to marry then marry him instead and eventually divorce him again and just work your way up with richer and richer guys. Having children would be no problem, I would get even more money through child support. I think it would be possible to make really good money this way and never actually work. What do you think? |
Posted: 01 Mar 2016 10:31 AM PST This week I've been trying to understand adult bullying. As a kid, detecting bullying was easy; just look for the one beating people up, insulting someone, intimidating others, and who has a nasty attitude. But as an adult, it's actually pretty hard to determine these people. You don't know who an abuser/shamer is until you've already revealed things about yourself that they can use against you or hurt you with... So since figuring out who's who isn't an option, there has to be another thing people are doing that my wife and I aren't. I assumed the missing piece was that these people don't hang out with anyone but family and childhood friends. And I'm sure that's the case for the majority of you. But there are people who don't have family or childhood friends to hang out with (i.e. people who made friends through work or regularly hang out with strangers) and they are surviving just fine. So I don't know what these people are doing that my wife and I aren't doing. How do they avoid or handle shaming better than us? Surely it happens, so what are they doing that we aren't? Where I'm from, there's no one who verbally shames someone. They do all their shaming with cringes, glares, "talking to friends" since "it's a free country", and other indirect communications like tone of voice, attitude, or how they treat you. All this to "make a statement" that who you are, or what you represent to them (like they think you're a liberal) is "unacceptable". |

Question: Can a person remarry without signing his last divorce papers? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 09:24 AM PST I recently got married but the problem is my husband was married before and his wife was overseas when they separated but she came back to Jamaica and got remarried to another man and went back overseas without him signing the divorce documents. The question I am asking is if both partners doesn't have to sign the divorce papers for it to be valid? or can a person just leave out that detail and just remarry if they wish without being found out or unless otherwise investigated? and does that make my marriage legit since he doesn't even have proof of his previous divorce? |
Posted: 01 Mar 2016 09:15 AM PST What are the possible outcomes? Here's the perfunctory background info: I have dated him for 4 years. He has been waiting for me to finish medical school and he says he will propose to me RIGHT AFTER I get licensed, but not before. I have already graduated and will become licensed this month, but for some reason, I don't feel very much like marrying him, anymore. What should I do? |
Posted: 01 Mar 2016 08:52 AM PST Hi Friends, I am an Indian Guy and She is Romanian. We love each other. But unfortunately there in Romania her parents forced her to marry a Romanian guy of there choice but now she is thinking about running to me secretly here in India on tourist visa. Actually she is emotionally weak to fight with her parents and that man to ask for divorce, so she prefers to just run away. Now my complicated question is that if she will run to me here then is that marriage of her in Romania will be valid in India also? I mean can we marry here in India without need of giving divorce to that man? Then it will be really very easy for us. But unfortunately if that marriage is valid here and if we can't marry just like that then can she send him divorce from India only there to her home country without needing her to go or visiting there. Again the point is if we will go there it could be trouble for her as her family will emotionally blackmail her. And we don't want to face that. Or please suggest any alternative what can we do to get married here without her needing to go back to Romania. I have no idea. Also I think we will need to sort it all out within 6 months only coz she will be on Tourist visa here and before her visa expires I want to get married to her so that she can stay more here by being Indian citizen. Please anyone can give serious advice? It will be really appreciable. Please serious answers only. Our situation is very tough. |
Question: Do both of you wife and husband work? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 08:49 AM PST |
Posted: 01 Mar 2016 08:18 AM PST I'm not talking wearing lingerie outside the house, I'm just talking wearing higher heels, shorter skirt lenght, and lower cut neck when out in public with your husband. How does a woman overcome her fear of being ostracized/condemned/shamed/scorned when trying to dress sexy for her husband? Based on the answers in this question: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20160301051639AAfS5nv I am not sure how any woman would feel confident in making her husband sexually satisfied if she has to play (in the 21st century) by these old fashion rules of modesty. What I don't get is, with this generation's "prude shamers" and last generation's "slutt shamers", how is a woman ever going to find her confidence if she is being controlled by both sides? Is it just better to not care what either of them say and just give everyone the middle finger? I'm glad I'm born a man, but at the same time we have similar mind games women play with us. Too arrogant and too humble. Too good and too bad. Too needy and too independent. Too sexual and too lovey dovey. Honestly tired of women's mind games... I don't know a single man who plays these games... Not one. |
Question: Domestic Partnership in FL and now getting married to someone else!? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 08:11 AM PST I've been in a domestic partnership for 7 years with an old BF in Miami, FL. I am now getting married to someone else. Because this was done so long ago, I literally just remembered about the domestic partnership I signed for. If I get this terminated ASAP, can I still get married. I'm asking because I see the termination process says 30 days and I am getting married in 23 days! I want to cry sigh... |
Question: My wife is angry all the time? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 06:30 AM PST My wife is angry all the time these days. I'm afraid she's "shutting down" mentally. She gets all excited about something (we're planning on doing an early spring cleaning this weekend), then realizes just how big a chore it is and then decides she doesn't want to do it. I understand she's very emotional right now, but it seems like there's nothing I can do. She recently lost her mother, an acquaintance, and found out that another person very dear is not doing so well. On top of that, our neighbor told us this morning that HER mother passed away this past weekend. My wife has been surrounded by death, and I think it's finally taking it's toll on her. I can't even speak to her about something without her snapping back at me. And this morning she commented, "To hell with everything." I don't know what she was referring to, but I can tell she was frustrated. For awhile, her triggers were work and traffic, but now it seems like the kids and I are triggers, too. So my questions are: 1. What can I do? I've given her space, taken the kids to give her some free time, but nothing is working. 2. Is the anger just a phase and how long does it usually last? I know this probably makes me sound like an a&&, but I've never been through this, so I have no clue. 3. She won't go to a therapist. The last time she spoke with a counselor was after an assault, and was told that she had let it happen. Any other suggestions? |
Question: How do I deal with my husbands anger issues? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 05:17 AM PST Weve been together for two years and married for a few months and currently expecting.First year everything was great altho i did notice that hed get worked up on silly things sometimes but hed get over it quickly. We moved in together only half year ago after he proposed to me and currently staying with his mother and well be moving in our own house soon. Now ever since we moved in together ive noticed a big difference in his behavior. He gets angry by almost everything and with both his mom and me.I was trying to put it down to the stress of him moving back into his moms and bcs his job is quite stressfull but ive noticed how this has distant me from him. I still love him and im in love with him but i also feel a lil more cold towards him. There had been incidents where he called me names he was screaming at me etc. Etc. This sunday we had a big fight as I wasnt feeling like going out (like we had planned to) due to feeling tired from the pregnancy (emotionally and physically) and he started shouting at me telling me to move my *** and not be lazy etc.Etc. It really hurt me but i tried to put it down to him not understanding how pregnancy feels and the stress he has.Now i wanna wait and see if anything changes once we get our own house and its only the two of us before actually confronting him about how distant his whole behaviour has made me feel.tbh living with his mom stresses me as well as i dont feel we have the privacy we deserve and she getd involved in our pers issues. |

Question: I am still in love with my husband but we are getting a divorce? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 12:25 AM PST We have not had sex in a year. Whn I lost it and begged him to try he compared me to his ex. He said with me it was a chore and with his ex she was adventurous and used toys. It hurt. His daughter was visitng and I am a stay at home mom. I cried and told her how much my relationship hurt and I want a divorce. She is almost 18 and told me to live with her. A few weeks later my husband and I fight and I accidently say I am leaving and going to live with her. He loses it. Sends her away and is now divorcing me. He made up with her but told her I am cry and he bad mouthed me to his whole family. One member messaged me I need a theripist help. I had to block all his family. His daughter is now scared of me too and I had to block her. This is my first marriage. And although I have never felt it perfect I dont want a divorce. He sleeps in another room and in the daytime snaps at me. He can not see how much his comments hurt me. I wish I could stop loving him but I really want to go to his room and cuddle. I get it is over he cant unsay the things to his family and all of them matter to him. This marriage isnt salvageable is it? |

Question: My husband gets mad when I share my feelings...? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 10:38 PM PST He asks me what's wrong, and then gets mad at me for feeling the way I do. No matter what, even when he ACTUALLY is in the wrong, he always flips it over on me and makes me the one who is in the wrong. I don't know how to handle this. When I stop sharing how I feel he gets mad. But he gets mad when I DO share them too. It's exhausting to never be right, even when you're just saying how something makes you feel. It's like my feelings are wrong. No matter what. It doesn't help that when he gets after me, I fight right back but it's hard for me to just sit back and let him dump it all on me. What can I do? Even when I try to confront him about things in a calm and respectful manner, he gets mad. I am just at a loss for what to do. This is not how things were supposed to be. We'll have been married for 3 years this July, and things are just going downhill this past year. Please, help me. Give me your best advice. |
