I have a friend and mentor who I'm very fond of. She's 7 years older than me and is really nice. I feel like she is able to help me through my shitty childhood. But there is something that makes me feel confused about her. I grew up with Eastern European immigrants. I had a really shitty childhood under them. THe person I am reffering to happens to have Eastern European ancestry from one of her grandparents. Don't get me wrong, she is American. She and her parents were born and raised here. She is also part English The question is, how can I convince myself that she IS American, so I can trust her better and not be so confused about her.

So I posted a picture of my exercise routine, "Doing some stretches and working on my glutes. " This dude commented "get iittt." Ummm... is that supposed to be a compliment or sexual? Its weird. Just fyi, I'm a very shy 9th grade so I never experience social media thing until now. Yes call me weird but I prefer old school. 

Because of corona I haven't been shaking hands for few weeks. So few weeks ago at bar I regular at, friend(who regular to) comes in to shake my hand, and I'm like sorry I can't shake. Bartender/manager(who knows us well/our friend) says what movie is this, he points to me that I'm larry david and my friend is jerry seinfeld. He was prob just joking around. He wasn't calling me awkward, right?
