However, over the summer I was in the same building as him. I saw him and when I did I felt something. Before that moment, I thought of him just as a friend, but after just seeing him, I started to get feelings. I don't know if he saw me because I tried to hide. My friend has asked him before if he likes anyone and he said that he doesn't want to date right now. Some days I feel like he does like me, but other days I don't. We've been texting pretty much everyday and have had several phone calls and video chats. Usually our calls/video chats last like 2-5 hours every time and he tells me I'm easy to talk to. We haven't met yet. Over the last week, he has become less communicative than before. He goes full days without texting or even responding to me which wasn't happening before. Normally, he would respond within 10 min almost every time. We do still text normally sometimes and it feels natural. He told me yesterday he is excited to meet me but at the same time I didn't hear from him all day today (which was not the case until 1 week ago). I'm not sure what changed. Especially with quarantine, it's not like he has anywhere else to be. So... I've been trying to decide - do I just live life and do my thing and assume that if he wants to call, he will OR do I ask if everything is ok with him? We haven't met yet so the latter feels weird but we had been talking a lot. On the other hand, I don't want to assume people are supposed to be mind readers so if I sense a behavior change maybe I should ask in a gentle way? I don't want to make it like I have all these expectations of him, just that I liked talking to him and am curious what shifted. Maybe I'm doing something I'm not aware of? What do you think? Say something or just see if it goes back to normal naturally? Thanks in advance. |

I met her my junior year, she was the absolute most amazing person I ever met. We decided to date 4 months before she left for college, and it was the best 4 months of my life. I was so happy. After that we tried long distance but it didn't work out so we remind friends. Then out of the blew one day she texted me and told me how could I ever speak so poorly about her, and I told her I never spoke poorly about her. I won't get into details about what she said the general topic is that I'm a horrible person and rude. Which again I never spoke poorly about her, then as time went on a year later I decided to apologize to her since I wasn't blocked on Instagram. She then replied with terrible things about how she never wants to hear from me or see me. Now it's been almost 2 years reaching 3 and I still miss her since she was so close to me and I hate the fact that my friendship is forever gone. What should I do? I want actual advice not just short sentences saying "oh get over it" because believe me that is the worst advice to give someone that was in love. |

WIth all that is going on with COVID-19 he has been unable to get a job. I assume this has an effect on him. Lately he has had a very short temper towards anything related to our dog. Walking her, not listening etc. We do not usually argue, and when we do it lasts no longer than a day or two. However, this time he seems more upset. I was heartbroken, but am trying to go on as if the argument did not happen, because if I try to talk about it he gets upset and leaves home for an hour or so. Or will lock himself in our bedroom. Last night, we were laying in bed and I tried to be intimate with him (it s dumb I know). I just thought it d be a good way to make up. Anyway, he turns his back to me and says to go to bed. 10 minutes later he gets up, takes his phone and locks himself in the bathroom for an hour. The next day I was suspicious. Wondering if he was talking to someone while he was gone. So I logged into his instagram, but found nothing. I think he got an email notification that someone logged in and now he is ignoring me. My bf was devastated and cried to me. Lately in quarantine, he has texted me a lot less and apologized for not being his normal self. I've tried to support him and give him space, but I felt him pulling away. I texted him last week saying that going forward, I want us to have more open conversations and communicate better. I told him that I love him and sometimes need affirmation that he loves me too. He replied 3 days later saying that the last month has flipped his life upside down, he wanted to break up, things weren't tracking in the right direction for him, and it's not fair to me that he's not feeling as strongly about the relationship so it's best that we end things. But when she herself has high interest, what's the point? My experience tells me, it's their insecurity and an illusion of abundance mindset.
