I'm so mad and upset that we're missing out on things like prom and graduation. Not to mention, making fun memories with our friends in the last few months of our childhood. And any cool plans we had for our last summer, they're gone. To say the least, I'm pissed. Anyone else?

I was friends with this girl from work, we both worked across the hall from eachother. But we would talk all the time, i had feelings for her but she was married. She would stare at me like crazy but we never talked innapropriate to eachother. She told one of my close friends, that she is falling for me and that she cares for me. But she begged my friend to never tell me. She would always talk highly about me, and i made her blush  later on some coworkers began talking bad about me and her, they kept reporting us to management saying that we're always flirting, and other people began making rumours. so later my manager told me to stop talking to my friend, so the drama could stop.  she would still talk to me behind everyone's back because she missed my presence, But eventually I noticed she had become really weird with me, and was giving me the cold shoulder. she was still staring at me like crazy but, but would look down.  one day for her birthday I gave her a gift card, but she gave the manager the gift card and told him that my presence was affecting her. my manager moved me from the floor far away from her,  One week later she left work and took an entire year off, and she blocked me completely off Facebook. She came back to work early February after 1 year of being gone. She looks down when she sees me, and she avoids areas i go too.     Why does she act soo cold with me?????

What do I do? My best friend since we were like 8 wants to shave her head, get a nose piercing, and get a large tattoo on her arm. People regret all of these things all the time. I don't want her to regret it and be sad all the time. We even have another friend who once shaved her head and was just like my bestie now, thinking she wanted it. But she ended up really regretting it and almost tried to kill herself because she thought she looked horrible. I don't want this to happen to my best friend but she won't listen to the evidence that's right in front of her! She won't listen to me on all the reasons she shouldn't. What should I do???

 Hi, I'm 17. Recently, I've been falling deeper and deeper into this feeling of despair. Today I finally broke down and cried. I feel like a burden to my sister(guardian) everyday. She had to stop living her life to take care of me and I can't even repay her because I don't have a job (I have applied many times...) and we got into an argument today and that just emphasized that thought so much more. If I was gone things would be so much easier for her. She already said once I leave for college shes gonna live out her life. I know I couldn't control my parents passing to prevent me from going into her custody but I wish that didn't happen.  She also has a roommate who has a granddaughter. Her roommate used to be like a grandma to me, but now she is always annoyed by my presence. She doesn't treat me and her granddaughter the same anymore. I'm not her real family, that's what it seems like she's saying.  If I talk to her she manages to make the conversation about her granddaughter.I feel so alone. Like anywhere I turn I'm just going to be a disappointment. My friends don't text me even when I make an effort to talk. My other family members barely talk to me. I've been telling myself things would get better for so long but they never have. My dreams for the future were what was keeping me alive but now it just seems like the negatives are outshining the hopes of mine. I'm scared of death, but I don't want to be here anymore. Or at least I don't want to keep feeling like this. please don't make any jokes...I really don't know what to do.

I've been talking to this guy for a month (texting because we can't see each other due to being in quarantine), However, since our only method of communication is through texting, I feel like he's not interested, because he rarely initiates conversations or keeps them going. I talked to him about it, and he said that he wasn't a good communicator. I can tell that he's trying a little bit to keep the conversations going, but he still rarely initiates, or asks me how I'm doing. For example, I'll text him "hey how are you?" and he'll just start talking about himself. It's never "I'm doing good, how are you?" Expect for one time, he texted me around 1am asking how I was doing and said that his mental health has been declining since being in quarantine, and I talked to him and offered my support. However, when I talk about those kind of things to him, he'll just say something like, "yeah that's rough". I know he told me that he wasn't a good communicator, but how hard is it to reciprocate things? When we used to see each other on campus, I was almost certain that he was interested in me, now since we can't see each other, I'm not too sure. He's very reserved, not shy, just keeps to himself.

I just turned  14 and my two best friends were over Becka and NIna.. my mom found where I had hidden xanaxs B ran down the stairs and jerked me into the office beside the living room where we were hanging out. She scolded me hardcore for about a minute and then I got I put the belt. My friends out there could hear it and and of course it hurt. I had a female friend who I had a platonic relationship with drop me. She was a Christian Social Worker and did not have the maturity to tell me why. She would invite me to houses alone with her and get touchy sometimes. I was unsure what she wanted from me. Is it ok to give up on women after this? If a christian social worker does not have the maturity to do things the right way what's the point in trying?

Im a 25 year old guy,  and sometimes i feel awkward when i got outside.  There's alot of girls who always stare at me,  and there's other guys who stare me down and give me weird looks. Im not gonna lie,  or try to be cocky but im good looking and fit.  But im also a nice guy  But why doo this guys always stare me up and down angry?????  Makes me feel akward

What does it mean when your best friend tells you if you end the friendship with her because you feel like she hurt you in some way then she will still talk to you? Is that normal?

When i was in Elementary school, and high school i was a big loser.  I was always sitting alone with anyone to talk too.   I wasn't too smart,  i was chubby,  with  low self-esteem.    But now I'm 24 and im better looking,  im fit, i drive a nice truck.   Obviously i have more friends but deep down i still consider myself a loser.   I get scared and intimidated when i see people from school.    How can i overcome this??? Please help????

She came from a middle class family, she was falling for jocks left and right and was angry when they didnt fall for her back (granted one raped her). But i feel like her life wasnt as bad as it could have been. Im 24, lost my mom 4 years ago, started drinking heavily (everyday cant go without it) i have no job, became a convicted felon at 21 because of stupid **** i did while drunk. No friends, no family, homeless, etc..i understand people go through their own ****, but i feel like when you look at it from your view it just seemed stupid.  I also plan on eventually doing myself but i feel like i have more reasons (and people in similar or worst predicaments). Im in and out of mental hospitals and just being told "oh well cant stop you from being depressed everyday" so i dont know. I know that makes me a piece of crap but oh well.

One of my friend's friend (who I'm not really friends with) told me he would invite me to his birthday celebration but he never invited me.  Is that a mean thing to say? 

So my cousin is thinking about starting an organization/movement called "fight bullies" or "fight bullying" It's basically to raise awareness of bullying but not actually use violence to fight bullies. While it is good to raise awareness of bullying and such, saying you "fight bullies" when you didn't actually use violence on bullies may make people laugh at you and make fun of you and think you are a wussy. So is it a good idea to name it "fight bullying"?  Would it be better to name it something like "go against bullies" or "go against bullying" or "prevent bullying" or "stop bullies"?   P.S. because I'm against bullying, I don't tell my cousin "you're such a wussy" even though I think that he does sometimes does act like one and that some of the things he says make him sound like one.

I currently live with my girl best friend. We've been living at our apartment for 2 years now. She doesn't always have guys over but when she does I have no interest in talking to her guy friends or getting to know them whatsoever. I'm sure I come off as rude since I do not communicate with her guy friends at all when they are here but I can't bring myself to go and start conversation with them. I wouldn't say that i'm jealous because I don't see my friend that way. It just bothers me for some reason. any input from anybody?

So with the lockdown, my flatmate is off work until this whole thing is over. He's apparently going to be paid eventually, so that's all fine, but I'm a bit concerned about him mental health wise. Particularly over the last week, maybe 2 he seems to be ... regressing? If that's the right term...  He's normally very organised, clean and bang on time to everything. But he's stopped cleaning up after himself, leaving it a day or for me to do - the last 2 or 3 days he was in his underpants on the couch all day and today I haven't yet seen him.  I know he's not sleeping, not shaving and not showering every day and he's watching way too much... Internet... in the middle of the night.  Seriously like he's 29 going on 12 He's not been to work for about a month and not seen his girlfriend other than facetimes just as long and I think he's missing them. What do I do? How can I help?

I personally feel that it is an inquisitive question to ask someone. I have never cared to ask anyone that question. It seems like when people ask this question they want to figure out your status/income. I make very well for my age but nobody besides my parents know what I do. For all my friends know is that I don't work and am a full time college student. I bought a new home and car recently but kept it a secret because I don't want people prying in my business and friends getting jealous. Some will probably speculate that my parents bought it. I could easily respond with "none of your business" but perhaps there's nicer ways to answer this question that I know I will get. 

Unemployment on equality Why is it that my coworker who's been hired as exact same time as me worked practically the same as hours as me and was laid off almost at the exact same time has already gotten more payments than me and she's gotten The 600 bonus well I haven't but because she's my friend so she tells me everything it just doesn't seem fair to me. And she got approved almost instantly while I got approved One month later. I'm not sure race has anything to do with it but I'm just your typical White Caucasian while she is Mexican.

I have a friend who I've known for nearly a year. We're super close. At the end of March, she introduced me to some of her other friends and we all immediately clicked and starting a friend group together. I had been getting bad vibes for a bit so I didn't contact her for a few days Incase she needed space. This past weekend (Easter weekend) we all started calling and having fun again and I was so happy. She started calling me and we were good. Coming Monday (day after Easter) we were good as usual. I hung up, and my other friend called me an hour later. We all went into a call together, then she just randomly started ignoring me. Like I'd ask for her and she'd just ignore me, even when it was quiet. She started leaving me on read and deleting all of our posts together. I have never talked behind her back, and we were super close 1 hour prior. Turns out she texted my other friends telling them I was annoying and she "can't stand me". Now normally I'd drop her, but then again, this just happened. Like there were no signs. She just switched. The next day, she was really sad so we made her a gift and she seemed to be friends w me again. Today she told my friends that I was annoying again. Deleted more of our posts together. Idk what to do. Should I give her even more space? Drop her? Talk to her? It's just so weird because yesterday she was fine but today she's back to thinking I'm annoying. Please help!

An old friend has told me twice that he's not looking for dating and he loves me as a friend, but he hardly ever texts me when I ask him how he's going or want to discuss something with him.  We both have Asperger's, but mine is milder than his and I'm outgoing and he's quiet.  I feel like he only talks to me and our other male friend when he feels obligated to do so, whereas he send my best female friend who he used to love long text messages.  My question is, does he want a more casual friendship, or does he want us to leave him alone?

I have a friend she's a cool person and chill and fun to be around but sometimes she can get jealous annoying or competitive. when me and her have conversations it seems like every thing I say or every thing I do she does the same thing or the same thing is happening to her she never has her own life story. One time I told her a story about one morning a cardinal was sitting at my window. I looked up the meaning and it says a cardinal means a deceased loved one is watching over you. And I can admit I barely see cardinals I told her how I think it's my ex lover. Then she says things like omg same here I see cardinals all the time by my house and window I think somebody is watching over me too. Another time I told her how my boy friend is becoming a better person we're working on our relationship and how he's deleting his Facebook and spending less time with his friends. Now she's saying omg same here my boy friend barely be on Facebook and he stop hanging with his friends as well. When I clearly see the opposite. Why is she trying to make her life like my life friends have similarities but also differences and we never have differences she thinks our life is the same. Also if I do try to talk about something she just change the subject to something else totally cutting me off and she does this a lot. One Time I tried to have a serious conversation with her about me starting my career she changed the subject and started talking about some guy stalking her what to do ?  Also she acts like a 12 year old if I don't want to spend time with her she gets very angry we're too old for sleepovers that's all she wants to have. We're both 22 and she acts like a child she also wants to talk on the phone for hours. She's my only friend I want other friends but it's hard when I do find a friend it's always something negative about them to her. Even other Friends I had didn't like her they said she was weird and wanted to be like me. 

I feel like I am going to get jumped by them, I am a white guy and Mexican guys seems to stick together. I lay low around them. These Mexican men seems very mobby, and I keep a distance from them for they roll in an entourage together. One Mexican woman would be in an entourage with about 15 Mexican boys, I see her and don't speak or talk to her so I won't get jumped on by those Mexican dudes. Mexican men, they seem to be very intimidating and fearful, and when you have Mexican neighbors they have cars that fills up the driveway, the front yard, the back yard, and they seem to be good at mechanic work. Those Mexican guys tends to be very scary as they have a bully coercive look to them. Me as a white guy, I avoid them but it is hard. I run away from them, their hot Mexican girlfriends I avoid because of those Mexican men.

My close friend is starting To be very annoying so I have a very funny and loud laugh every body laughs at. My close friend even tells me how my laugh is funny and we both joke about it. Now randomly lately we just have conversations and you know tell jokes like friends supposed to now my friend is laughing how exactly how I laugh. Like it's so weird me and her have different laughs but she's exactly laughing how I laugh I don't say anything and just continue being me and doing the laugh I do. She looks so fake doing it her mouth doesn't even move while she's doing it she looks plain stupid trying to laugh like me and be something she's not I confronted her and told her I kind of find it annoying that she's laughing like me and copying my laugh she just says oh my bad. Few days later she's doing it again laughing like me when I told her to stop because she doesn't even laugh like that it's like she really wants to be me. Every time I confront her she just says sorry or my bad but continues trying to laugh like me now what should I do help ?
