Question: Should I give away my PS4 Pro w/ VR headset & over 40 digital games? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 03:10 PM PDT I own the item in the question and since my fiancé entered my life and the cousins stopped coming over it collects dust. I tried to get him to play but he sucks and never wants to play so I just watch movies with him when we have time. My friends 10 year old's birthday is in 2 weeks. She would love it. My fiancé doesn't think I should. I just think someone should be enjoying this system and my collection will go to waste if I pawn it at GameStop or leave it in the closet. For the record—My grandfather used to stop me from giving away stuff all the time when I was a kid & my fiancé still hasn't played the Ghostbusters Video Game that I bought for him last Christmas, & he's a serious fan. |

Question: How to handle Ungrateful elderly parents? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 02:53 PM PDT I love my parents and do all I can for them. I fix dinner for them, during this quarantine did all their grocery shopping, took them for rides even make sure they had anything they want. I'm a single mom, full time job but always make time to answer their 20 plus calls a day. Today I was told I do nothing to help them. I'm at my wits end. My other sibling lives 2000 miles away so everything is left to me. I've ruined my own personal life do to helping them constantly. I'm so tired. What do I do? I appreciate all they have done for me my entire life. It no matter what I do it's not enough. |
Question: My good friend has 2 kids and is pregnant a 3rd time by her abusive boyfriend.? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 02:31 PM PDT He has beaten her many times. The first time was when she was pregnant with their first baby. She has "left" him multiple times and tells me she's getting a restraining order but she always goes back to him. He got out of jail they moved to another state and live together and he hasn't hit her but I know one day he will. I just want to beat him to a pulp. He has never hit the kids but its obviously very possible he will. She and I talked a lot and I told her she's not a bad mom for walking away she's a good mom for it and she's not breaking up her family she's getting the chance to find them a real dad and she agreed with me and was fighting for custody and was going to move away by herself so he'd have no say in anything but here we are |

Question: Is it justifiable to say F**k you to your parents? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 02:20 PM PDT my step dad called me an idiot and I said "F**k you" |
Question: What to do when someone picks fights constantly? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 02:07 PM PDT My dad is extremely argumentative. I do my absolute best to avoid him but when I start talking a little to him he takes advantage and starts arguing with me. He is extremely toxic. Today he was telling my mom and I to move all of our things and throw them away. Keep in mind we don't have much at all. He said today he is going to get big boxes so we can get rid of our things that we use!!! He argues even when we had a big loss recently and he is arguing with us. He has a ton of things where we live but he is always picking on my mom and I. He will not stop bothering us about it. He is saying he is not trying to argue but he picks fights constantly!!! I texted him and said I am not going to argue. It is unbearable to live where someone argues all of the time but we have no money to move. What can I do about someone who is constantly trying to pick fights with us? To top it off, my mom says I don't stand up to him even though I do countless times He just is a f'er |
Posted: 29 Apr 2020 01:58 PM PDT This isn't a troll |
Posted: 29 Apr 2020 01:45 PM PDT I'm supposed to love him. He is very arrogant and ignorant and he also lies a lot to his family. He can be loyal to my mom and her family but he was very disloyal to his family. He does lie to my mother though. |

Question: How dangerous (Covid-wise) would it be to visit my cousin who lives 6 hours away? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 12:55 PM PDT I live with my 56 year old dad and 90 year old grandma. I know, that sounds pretty bad, but hear me out - we still go grocery shopping, and run essential errands, is it really that much worse? Especially that I would just be exposed by like 4 people? |
Question: Have you met all your cousins from both sides of your parents? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 12:52 PM PDT I grew up with my cousins from my mom's side but I'm only close to some of them. On the other hand, I only met a few of my cousin's from my dad's side and I barely talk to them. Both my parents have 8-10 siblings and they live in different states and continents so it's impossible for me to meet all of them. How about you guys? |
Question: My older sister won't stop bullying me? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 12:11 PM PDT I don't really know her. We didn't grow up together. She lives in a different state now. But when she visits she just sits there and looks at me. It's a real evil look. She gets her boyfriend to harass me when she comes over. The way she talks to me is just harsh. She won't stop. She hates me. She always has. I told my mom. She just takes her side like she always does. I don't know what to do. I wish I didn't know her. I can't move out right now. |

Question: Is it not good if I feel.either guilty, sorry for, or irritated with my girlfriend? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 12:02 PM PDT She really gets on my nerves and we around around each other 24/7 at home. I find myself irritated a lot. She is starting to look hideous to me too. Very fat, lazy, likes clutter, is clumsy. Way too high strung and impulsive. Its draining. I look forward to days when I get the house to myself. I dont hate her. She has promised to join a gym. I'm tired of cleaning the house by myself too. She does nice things for me though and we are a team, but I have no friends, no social life. I miss her if shes away too long which is weird. Actually I love her too much. |
Question: I hate being a little kid? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 11:45 AM PDT I am 14 and I hate it. I understand that adults have it worse but the thing is it is mostly because of my living situation. My parents always call me names and sometimes hit me but oh well I just don't care anymore. I hate that I have to live here for another 4 years and I hate not being old enough for a job. I am not old enough to do anything and I am just kept in my room all day. I would rather be at school than home but that is not an option. I hate not being old enough for anything and always coming home to a fight. I want a summer job to make money so that I can pay for clothes and electives and I live in Nevada but EVERYBODY says I am too young for a summer job. I am going into high school and the electives all together are 100 dollars and I would like to make at least 250 dollars by the end of summer. But in the eyes of the law I am a baby that's WAY too young for a job. |
Question: I want to get in my five year old sons life but don’t know if it’s the right thing to do? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 10:57 AM PDT I have a five year old son who's mother refused to allow me to be in his life. When he was younger I would choose to hangout with girls verse see him and it made his mother mad which now I do understand why and regret that choice. His mother cut off contact after we split up and I told her I'd be taking her to court. I didn't have the money at the time but now my son is five and I do have the money. The issue is my son has a fatherly figure who's been in his life since he was six weeks old, he doesn't know me. I don't pay child support for my son, and in a way, I feel it would be more harmful then good for my son since he knows this man as his dad. His Mother and I haven't talked in years and I truly do blame her now because I feel once we split up she took him away from me. I want to do what's best for my son and regret my past choices. I know if I reach out to his mother she will continue to ignore me as she did years ago. I saw her Grandma at the store a few months ago and asked her how my son was doing. She said good, I asked her if I could have my ex's number to talk to her about my son. She said she wasn't going to give me her number. I feel stuck and don't know what the best option is. Please help? |
Question: Arguing with my sister...? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 10:23 AM PDT Every time I am on the phone with my sister, the conversation turns to politics and it gets pretty ugly. Now, I never turn down politics road because I know our beliefs differ. She always accuses me of being "intractable" and "too conservative" when in reality I am rather moderate. In fact, I think I lean left. But unlike her (and this has nothing to do with her political ideology), I keep an open mind. For instance, I am for a freer-market, against affirmative action, against taxing rich more, for lower taxes in general, mostly against illegal immigration, and against abortion (except in some cases). But there are plenty (if not more) of "liberal" beliefs I share (basically everything I didn't mention). 1) Am I really that conservative (not that it matters)? 2) What can I say when she yells at me (before she hangs up the phone lol?) |
Question: What’s wrong with my sons foot? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 10:17 AM PDT My Son badly hit his end three toes on a sofa today. He's 14. They are quite swollen and purple around his knuckles. He refuses to walk on his foot, but he can be ott with these things sometimes. To add to 'this I also hit my pinky toe on a bathroom door, causing it to go deep purple and swell. Fun. Do my son toes sound broken? |
Question: My mother found my dildo what now? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 10:15 AM PDT So today I went for a drive with my friend to get out of the house for a bit. When I came back home I noticed that some of my things had been moved around in my room and my drawer were I keep my sex toy was slightly open and it was closed when I left. Then my mom rushed in saying she was looking for a tape measure then she showed my dildo on her phone! she had taken a picture of it. giving me a big lecture and asked why did I have it I told her it was something private and I really didn't want to discuss it with her. So now she wants to take all my credit cards away from me which are completely mine. I'm feeling very mortified but at the same time not giving af because I'm 18 and adult. But I'd really like for her stop being mad at me and be open minded. Any advice would be helpful. |
Question: What to do with my aunt s ex-husband s urn with his mother s ashes? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 10:02 AM PDT My grandma and I just recently move to another house after my aunt, who was living with us, got us evicted. She used to have a husband that was living with us as well until she rudely kicked him out without most of his stuffs. So, during the move, I found his mother s ashes inside a blue urn and tried to contact them. He haven t responded to any of my messages and I don t really want to keep the ashes of someone who doesn t belong to my family. Was wondering what should I do so that I no longer in possession of these ashes? Do I call a funeral home so they can take the ashes or what? |

Question: Should my brother break up by now? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 09:18 AM PDT He cheated on a great girlfriend (in Sept of last year) and things haven't been the same since. He admitted she was the best girl ever but he still cheated. She was both a store manager and great cook. Many times she would go out of her way to prepare one of the many dishes and desserts the same way his late grandmother used to make. She ate whatever he wanted. He regrets ever cheating. Things aren't the same. They don't speak every day, she locks herself in her room sometimes and only prepares food for herself, what she likes. She isn't baking anything anymore, is distant and doesn't say ''I love you'' anymore. He wishes things were back to normal again, that he'll do anything and work hard to gain back her love and trust. Or should he break up now? Their relationship looks almost dead by now. My brother finds himself preparing his own simple meals. He misses what he had and regrets his selfish decision. She won't even watch TV with him either nor wants to be hugged . My brother said that it feels as if she doesn't like him anymore either. |
Question: Should I tell my dad that my grandparents already bought me a birthday cake? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 08:55 AM PDT I'm turning 20 tomorrow, and I'm staying with my grandparents since my college is closed. My dad texted me and said that he was going to order me a whole cake from the Cheesecake Factory as well as meals for my grandparents and I, since he is an essential employee and won't be able to be there. However, right after he told me that, I saw that my grandparents had already gotten me a birthday cake. Should I tell him or not tell him? |
Posted: 29 Apr 2020 08:33 AM PDT My sister has stopped caring, she doesn't do her homework whatsoever, my mom and I try to help her but she screams at us. It's not that she's tried to do homework but it's to hard bbt no, she doesn't even try she's told us that. It's makes me mad I'm stressing about finals (I'm a sophomore in college) and she's screaming that she's stressed about her work that she's not doing (she is 14 in 8th grade btw) |

Question: I feel so stupid compared to my sister...? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 07:41 AM PDT I am a middle schooler and my sister is only 5. We were playing sports on the Xbox, and my sister kept on hitting strikes when it came to bowling, while I couldn't even hit half of the pins. The same thing happened with everything else. So...I'm in my room feeling REEEEALLY embarrassed since my sister is so much younger, yet she did much better on sports and my parents forgot about me because of that. Help, I feel so stupid..... |
Question: Husbands mom cut our 5 year old daughters hair to a butch? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 07:28 AM PDT It's all shaved in the back and there's just a little hair on top, I'm furious. Question: How can I keep this hidden... ? Posted: 29 Apr 2020 05:42 AM PDT ok so I have 6 kids with my husband. we've been married 23 years. last year, I started having an affair with a guy from work. (don't come at me - I know this is wrong). before lockdown, we were hanging out during every work break, and I would occasionally stay after my shift (which I can't do always). I miss him so much, and we agreed to meet (which I know is wrong on so many levels - quarantine, cheating). So, I lied and told my husband I was going to the grocery store. He smiled, told me to be careful, and I felt so guilty. But then me being an idiot, I forgot to go to the store and only met up with the guy at his apartment. When I came home all happy, my husband was confused. he was ready to help me unload the groceries.. but I came home empty handed. I couldn't think of a good excuse.. I just said the store(s) was too crowded. (but I was gone for like an 1+ hours). now he is so suspicious.... help!!! he keeps asking me what I was really doing, and I keep denying everything.. my kids are even asking me where I went. he either thinks I'm crazy or I'm cheating.. WHAT CAN I DO? pls don't say u should never have cheated in 1st place.. I know obviously. JUST HELP NOW!! I wish I had never done this. |

Posted: 29 Apr 2020 03:14 AM PDT My husband has always been obsessed with appearances. We are both fit, wear nice clothes and i bought us a brand new 2 story house 2 years ago. He's been in and out of work since, latest layoff was in November. Especially since I've been home more because of the virus, he has been obsessively purchasing things for the house and yard. He got extremely angry at me today because I'm not on board with all these purchases, and he said since i haven't been doing above and beyond on the house cleaning list that I'm lazy. I pointed out that I've don my ten year old sons school everyday and I'm trying to enjoy art again (i paint) and i still do all the laundry dishes etc. he insists I need to be dusting the banisters, spot painting etc during this time and looking for new bedroom lamps, curtains etc. I'm already stressed and he's making this harder. Am I being lazy like he thinks? |

And we had a talk about are relationship and we decided to finally tell are parents. They have not taken this well. Question: What can I do about difficult mother? Posted: 28 Apr 2020 11:24 PM PDT My mum has always been difficult. As a child I recall angry outbursts, blaming me for things beyond my control, emotional blackmail, guilt tripping, ignoring me for perceived slights and telling me I was difficult, impossible, etc. I'm 41 now and not a lot has changed. Whenever I visit I'm criticised a lot and ignored/stonewalled. She speaks to me in a nasty tone, rolls her eyes when I ask a simple question and glares at me. A few months ago she swore and threw a chair across the room in front of my 3 year old son because she was "angry with herself about something." My son burst into tears and would not go near her for a while. When I said her behaviour was unacceptable she said "you're unacceptable. F**k you." If I confront the behaviour or stand up for myself it makes it worse. Everything I do is wrong, I'm told that I'm the problem and "always have been." I have zero self esteem. My friends and family describe me as soft, kind and gentle and I never have any issues with them. My mum is kind to her friends and dotes on my brother. My dad could not cope with her and left when I was 8. I do admit I do rise to my mum's behaviour at times and argue back and sometimes I'll say things that just make the situation worse. i.e if she keeps having a go at me about tiny things and I might say "you don't approve of anything I do, I can't please you" and then she will ignore me for the rest of the night or have an angry outburst. Our relationship makes me depressed. Any advice? |
Question: Dealing with narcissistic parents, help please? Posted: 28 Apr 2020 10:36 PM PDT Both of my parents are textbook narcissists and I'm exhausted by them. For 23 years I have been the scapegoat of the family. Constantly being lied on, scrutinized when speaking the truth and verbally assaulted for pointing out their evil ways. When they cannot control me they get others to. From calling family members on me when I refuse to do what they want to even manipulating pastors to tell me to do things. It took me 23 years to see how evil and twisted my parents are and no amount of gaslighting can blind me anymore. My last encounter with my parents was horrific. I spoke out against a family friend who planned to harm us and my father shut me down, made fun of me and even tried to put his hands on me. Days ago they found out I was right and did not apologize to me but have been pretentiously nice to me I am a senior medical science student. I own an online business and I am blessed to have a great income and to be so accomplished at my age. I decided to move out and they have shamed me for it because "I'm not done with school" yet proceed to ask me to pay bills since my income is so high. They said it would bring shame to the family if I move out because my 30 year old sister hasn't moved out. They have asked fake prophets to pray against my move out and have done many things behind my back to stop my move out They have made me feel like I should be embarrassed of my success and asked to keep my move out a secret.I don't know if I should share my success with others |

Question: What are the consequences when it comes to running away in Montana? Posted: 28 Apr 2020 08:33 PM PDT I am a 17 year old. I'm reaching the end of my jr. year and my mom has been driving me up the wall with the ways she has been treating me. She was screaming at me all day today and it got to the point where I thought about just walking out of the house, getting in my car, and driving away. Of course I'm not going to go through with it, but the idea made me curious about what the consequences would be here in the state of Montana. I fantasize about this idea a lot because of how much of an asshole she is to me. She's been talking about wanting to make me break up with my boyfriend because he's the reason for my meh grades (which trust me he isn't. Grades sucked long before him). She also tries to spank me which just seems ridiculous for a 17 year old and she screamed her head off at me for doing history homework instead of math? Both need to be done why not just get the easier one out of the way first? When trying to explain this she yelled and took my phone away. She screams her head at me for the tiniest things so I'd like to lay back tonight and imagine my life of walking out of the house and just driving away. If you could give me any information about this stuff I'd love to know. Thank you :) |
Question: I don’t know what the my problem is. i’m living with my mom right now during corona. ? Posted: 28 Apr 2020 08:14 PM PDT I was in college with a 3.9 gpa and got my **** done- cleaned, cooked,hw,studying, plus my sport& my major Is not easy. Now that i'm here, i feel so trapped. use2 workout-fitness & health was always #1 for me, before school work or any of it. I tried workouts &eating healthy but i truly do not give one singular ****. i can't get myself to do schoolwork, i start it & i have no interest. I cannot focus no matter where i go in my home. What i really want to talk about is how i treat my mom. When i'm away, i constantly think about her& i love her so much that it makes me cry. When i get home, i turn into this person. I don't know who i am. i get up at 3 pm & spend 3 hrs talking myself into doing homework. then, before i know it, it's 9 pm &i barley get **** done. my mom works as a nurse during this crisis& she's really stressed about it. she came home today crying because she's so stressed&feels as though i don't love her &she told me i should go live with my dad if i don't like living with her. I don't do things around the house to help her out & when i do talk-i talk a bit snappy when she tries to ask why i don't do anything. When corona started it made me sad but who the hell am i to be sad, my close relative is battling cancer and my family is passing our house with signs bc my mom is graduating school (she is getting her masters currently too.) it's like i care, but i do nothing to act on it. i'm stuck in this loop.i feel just tired & have not one care. |
