Question: Would it be weird to attend the same church as an ex boyfriend who is now married? Posted: 24 Apr 2020 08:34 PM PDT Years ago I dated a guy very seriously in my hometown, we attended the same church. He wanted to get married but I wasn't ready. I ended things with him. He is married now with three children. I never married but I have children through adoption. I'm moving back to my hometown for awhile to be closer to family. would it be weird for me to attend the same church as him? do you think it would make him uncomfortable? I'm quiet, I would keep my space from him and his family. It was so long ago that we've dated...he's married now, I assume he's probably long forgotten who I am anyway. I hate to bother people, I don't be a bother to anyone |

Question: I am struggling. Please help. ? Posted: 24 Apr 2020 06:27 PM PDT I am struggling. I have been married to my husband for almost a year. We are currently living in the house that him and his ex wife lived in. They lived in it for 7 years. Currently all of their furniture is here, except the bed was fairly new when she moved out. But still. She shares memories on Facebook with her kids in the house. My husband does know how much it bothers me, but right now we can't do anything about it. I could paint and rearrange furniture or even get new furniture, but I honestly don't know if I could get out of my head that she lived here and they had a life before I was here. I think that's why I feel bitter a lot. I don't know if I should mention it to my husband again because I know it makes him feel bad and I don't want to bring up their past, but I am struggling so bad. We have talked about moving or building a house waaaay in the future, but not right now. Any advice? I just feel weird sleeping in the bed she was in or anything. Even showering is weird. :( And when the kids come over, they remind me of it even more. |

Question: My friend acts like she’s the only one working during this virus I’m sick of hearing it! ? Posted: 24 Apr 2020 04:20 PM PDT My friend is a nurse. She admits she only went into it for the money. She's constantly complaining, talks terrible about her patients, complains she can't take any time off. She makes comments that everyone working from home and not working "gets a nice vacation." She's insulted numerous mutual friends of ours (including myself) about us working from home and that we "have it made." She complains about not being able to leave her house and go shopping, to the movies, etc. I'm really getting sick and tired of hearing her complain. I want to be supportive towards her because I know being a nurse is really really hard during this time but I can't listen to the same thing day after day. How do I approach this in a polite way? What can I politely say to her about her behavior without insulting her? |

Question: Is it wrong to expect a future husband to pay for the entire wedding? Posted: 24 Apr 2020 03:08 PM PDT I stopped working 19 years ago because I became disabled. Needless to say I don't have much money. Would it be so wrong to ask his family to pay? |

Question: How to tell my friend i banged his wife ? ? Posted: 24 Apr 2020 01:37 PM PDT well long story short, my buddy works out of town a lot. I rent the shop beside his house to do mechanic work out of it. While he was out of town his wife came down to the shop and said her battery was dead in her car and needed me to jump her off. I pulled up to her car, hooked the jumper cables and charged her battery up. Afterwards she asked me if i wanted to come in and have a glass of sweet tea, i obliged and walked inside. One thing led to another and i ended up banging my best friends wife on his own bed. What should i do and how should i tell him or should i tell him? I feel really guilty now, i don't want him to kick me out of my mechanic shop neither. |

Posted: 24 Apr 2020 12:26 PM PDT Will she feel more special than the husband as she does'nt have to worry about comparison and other complications and has no pressure compared to the husband who will have to be feeling shy or inferior? And the wife could feel the level of superiority compared to other women who were inferior or equal on wedding night in terms of expeeience compared to their husbands? And here she could feel like manly and Boss, while the husband will have to be like novice and henpacked? |
Posted: 24 Apr 2020 12:24 PM PDT My mom said that, before I get married, I need to ask myself if I think the other person and I would remain friends if we were to divorce. I think that's good advice. |
Question: How do I explain to my husband that I feel betrayed when he apologizes for me? ? Posted: 24 Apr 2020 12:20 PM PDT A little background, my husband and I are helping out a friend who is down on his luck by giving him a place to stay in our house. He is hard to live with but we have put up with him for a year. He has no family and few friends. Him and I but head quite a bit because he feels that anything I say that doesn't agree with him is me attacking him personally (we were trying to hook up electronics and he couldn't make them work, so I looked it up online and he took me troubleshooting as me trying to prove him wrong.) I know he complains about me to my husband as I have walked in on him doing so, in which he immediately shut up. My husband apologized for my behavior once and after the fact said he didn't know why he apologized as he thought I wasn't in the wrong. I think he just generally wants to avoid confrontation and keep the peace, but I feel like guest in my own house. My problem being that I don't know if my husband continues to do this when I'm not around, and I don't know how to explain to him that I feel indignant and betrayed in a way that will make him take up for me in our home. I don't want to have to ask our friend to leave, but I don't know what other options I have. |

Question: My child’s father had my child baptized without my knowledge or consent ? Posted: 24 Apr 2020 11:59 AM PDT I had my right taken from me because I WAS an addict; but I'm not out of the picture. I have supervised visitation once a week, he's just the "dominant" parent. They baptized my daughter in the Baptist church because my ex's new wife is Baptist. I'm not even Baptist! I contacted the church and they said it can't be annulled and it's unlikely that any church will re-baptise my child so that I can at least be present. Is there any legal consequences that he and she can face because of this?? And I should also mention, they tried putting his new wife as my child's mother! But the minister wouldn't allow them to because I'M her mom. |
Posted: 24 Apr 2020 10:41 AM PDT My boyfriend says he never wants to get married. He doesn't believe in the institution of marriage and believes it's not worth to risk half his income on something that is a losing bet because of how most marriages end in divorce. He also believes marriage wouldn't add anything to our relationship. That being married would not make a difference in how we feel about each other. He loves me very much, wants to have children, and grow old together, but wants to avoid the legal ties of marriage. I also love him a lot and want to start a family, but it's hard for me to get past not getting married. I grew up with the traditional mindset: fall in love, move in together, get married, and have kids. That's how I've always envisioned my life and have never seen it any other way. Now I am trying my best to change that mindset because I want to have a life with him. I have always believed it's unorthodox to have children out of wedlock. That has recently changed a bit because I would be okay with having children before getting married, but with marriage still being on the table in the near future. I am struggling with coming to terms of never getting married, but I can't come up with any valid reason why marriage is so important to me besides the love, commitment and unity of it. I mean you can have all that without getting married. Is it because society expects us to get married? What is more important being with someone you love and loves you or having the title of husband and wife? |
Question: Successful marriage? Posted: 24 Apr 2020 10:12 AM PDT Can a marriage work for couples who has only been together for 2 years? Is there a time frame of how long a relationship should be before moving to next step? Or is based on person to person? |
Posted: 24 Apr 2020 10:10 AM PDT Do most of you kind of 'snap' at your husband and make him feel like some kind of weirdo that needs to seek counseling? And I'm not talking about something truly weird, like not something that has it's own weird porn acronym. Just different ways to 'release' Thank you |
Posted: 24 Apr 2020 09:50 AM PDT Working from home can be a chore for some. My husband works in the bedroom with his work computer on our desk. For a while he'd have his personal laptop sitting next to him on a couple of dinner trays. The laptop on one tray and the external keyboard on a second tray. The way he had them I could walk by and see his screen from the hall.. This week I've noticed that he's adjusted his setup to now have the laptop right next to the keyboard so I can't just walk by and see what he's doing on his laptop. My husband has the tendency to watch porn from time to time and I've walked by and saw a clip on his screen. No, not all the time or when he's on the clock but he does watch it. Today when I asked him why he changed and he said he likes this set up better. Is he just trying to hide his screen from me now? Most of the time he's playing one of his Facebook games like Candy Crush or something like that on his laptop but I feel he's just doing this so I can't see his screen. I work in the kitchen at the table and he says that his set up in the bedroom shouldn't have any bearing on where or not I can see his screen. That's how he wants it so why does it matter to me. What is he hiding? |

Question: My son cut me out of his life for his new wife? Posted: 24 Apr 2020 07:28 AM PDT I never wanted my son to get married I wanted my son all for myself:( I never wanted to share my son with anyone so I stopped all his previous relationships but when he met his wife I never wanted to share I also attempted to ruin their wedding but the guards escorted me out and I made my daughter in laws life so hellish that my son called me last Friday that he cut me out of his life for his new wife and he also changed his number and moved 80000 miles away from me and he also told me that he never wants to see me again and he will never let his future kids see me and he also filed a restraining order against me What do I do? This is not a troll |
Question: How much say so does she really have? Posted: 24 Apr 2020 07:13 AM PDT In our house we have a sun room where the washer and dryer is located, the hot water heater is, where we keep our dog at night and also where I do my wood working projects. I've built a nice table so I can work on. A few months ago my dad gave me a miter saw that he no longer uses because he's getting up in age and is now unable to work on wood projects. Well, I have always had plans to build a smaller table to mount the saw on but right now it's just sitting on the floor. The other day I went and finally bought some lumber to build the table and my wife seemed to have a problem with it. She has been wanting me to build a dog house so we can keep the dog outside but since I want to do the table first she feels she has rights to tell me what to do with the sunroom. The only time she goes in the sunroom is to do laundry and she's now starting to put laundry supplies on my work table. How much say so does she have with what I do with the sunroom and what I build? |
Question: How do I tell my husband the truth? Posted: 24 Apr 2020 06:56 AM PDT My husband goes away often on business trips. 2 months ago when he was out of town I had a one night stand with a guy and he did not use a condom. I found out yesterday I am pregnant. I do not know if my husband is the father of my baby and need advice on what to do. |
Question: Is this weird or no? Posted: 24 Apr 2020 06:04 AM PDT My husband liked a picture on fb of his ex wife's baby with her husband. She did mention their previous kids being excited about the baby. Is this weird? We all 4 get along, including her husband. |
