I met a very nice kid in class at school. Two guys here, so this is nothing romantic. He seemed really kind at first, and eager to be my friend. He awkwardly asked to hang out with me at my (or his) house some time, so we did. He shows up to my house, and all he will talk about is the first three seasons of Spongebob, and asking questions like: "What do you rate this episode? I give it a 6.5 out of 10." Meaningful convo seemed impossible, so I tried to be interested in what he was talking about. That was in September 2019. Maybe he did not know what else to talk about, so I opened up to him about my interests and he did not seem to have any reaction at all, it was like he did not give 2 a damn about anything of me. I ve tried to build rapport with him by driving him places offering to pay food for him etc (to build a closer friendship) and it all seems to go nowhere. It kind of stresses me out, because I want to be his friend but can t figure out how to open him up. He mainly talks about movies and certain video games nonstop and it is getting tiring. Every effort I make with him seems to go nowhere or not last very long. I have been debating ending the friendship for a while now but I feel like I am just judging him for being socially different than me. Do you guys think this friendship will turn out for the better or should I look elsewhere? I feel kinda bad because he seems to have NO other friends anywhere. I don t want to hurt him. Should I keep trying to be his friend?

A girl I'm friends with recently posted a selfie of herself in her car. I have a crush on her, and I want to send her something flirty in reply to her story. Instead of vomiting my feelings and being like "I have a crush on you and I like you" I wanted to start to just show interest casually. But I don't know what to write her here.

My birthday passed by two days ago and both of my best friends said nothing to me . I didn't receive a text , call , meme nothing . So I'm upset because I always make sure to text , call or even be apart of the plans they want to do on their birthdays . Should I confront them about it ? I just don't want it to seem as if I'm overreacting ? Am I overreacting? I've known these two since we were in high school and it just ... it hurts because it seems as if  I'm always happy and willing to be apart of the events they want to do. But when it comes to me I get the bare minimum.

It always been on and off with us until I reach out to them again. It seems okay at first until recently both of them block me at the same time. I feel very shock that they block me after knowing them for 2 years. No explanation why and how, they just block me and I feel very hurt. My friend sent me a drunk text about 3 days ago, and I didn't respond back to her until today. I did not acknowledge her text message, I just sent her a meme about kittens and friendship (because her drunk text was about our friendship). I was busy with my Homework and sick these last couple of days, and after a while I kinda just brushed off her text. Because I did not know what to say, like, "lmao, thanks for the drunk text. love you too." ? Maybe at that instant,but not 3 days later... think. I feel like it was rude, should I apologize to her about not acknowledging her text most importantly what she said?!

My friend kept on telling me that Simba from the lion king has a child but I don't believe it my friend told me that Simba has a son named Kion I told my friend that Simba only has a daughter named Kiara and that she was reading fanfiction but my friend kept on insisting that simba does have a second child  Is this true does simba have a second child?

Every few months she deletes her account and makes a new one and tries to friend everybody again. Everyody always thinks she's been hacked but if you call or text her to let her know, she says she made the new account. If anyone asks her why she does this, she gets defensive and refuses to answer. What could be her reasoning?

What do you call someone that when you call them to talk on the phone they always ask you what's going on? And then you say well I just called to check on you and then they act all surprised. They also never reach out to you first but when they see you in person they act all nice and talkative 

Hung out with college friend in Georgia(state we live in go to college to). Live in different towns. Drove to his area. We went to restaurant in my car. I got really drunk lol. He drive us back to his house and let me sleep in his house in his room for 5 hours till I sobered up. His parents aren't fans of driving but we made up something so they wouldn't get mad. We're not close enough friends for her to know anything about me, but she's been pressing for my state, name, age, pretty much everything for a while. I once sent a TikTok from my account- that gave her my TikTok account, but I hadn't posted anything. Later on, I said one of my real-life friends' names- we'll call her Lucy. The online friend, who I'll call Alyssa, then found her InstaGram through Lucys TikTok. I asked Lucy to block her and she refused to, but on the rules that she didn't give out any personal info she could make a group chat with me, Lucy, and Alyssa. Lucy was bothering me about personal information again, and I just laughed it off- except she said she was going to find out, and that it was working. Lucy DM'd me today and told me Alyssa had gone through and messaged everyone Lucy was following- including people that knew me. I'm not sure how much she knows, but it makes me a little uncomfortable knowing she went to such lengths to know about me, and also trying to figure out what she knows. We met in an online group chat, and I'm worried if she knows a ton about me, everyone will. I know I sound kind of cowardly, but I have given personal info to closer online friends- it's not that I don't trust anyone I meet online, it's that I don't trust her lol

I'm 16, and my entire life I have had trouble making friends, I have never really had any friends, I've always just spent most of my life locked up in my room. At school no one likes me, everyone thinks I'm weird and it has always been this way since I started school when I was 4, and it has followed me to high school. I was always known as the weird guy, people don't think of me as an actual person, I've actually been told by people at school that before. I've been bullied, made fun of for sitting alone at lunch everyday, well we have been off of school since March but will probably go back this fall. I just wish I was normal, I'm sick of being the weird ugly guy with no friends at all, I just feel so weird like a subhuman or something. The only time I've ever had friends was in 6th grade, for like 2 months but they left me because they thought I was weird and they told everyone in the school not to talk to me, if anyone got near me, it was like they got the plague or something. What should I do? Next school year I want to make friends and show everyone that I'm not weird. Should I act a certain way? I'm so depressed.

i invited some of my friends over to go swimming and one of them walked in on me changing. he said it was an accident but i told my other friends and he's done it to them too. why do guys do this?

Personally, I think it largely stems from a lack of self-respect. I once heard someone say this, my dad in fact: "In order to respect others, you first have to respect yourself. Without self-respect you cannot expect for others to respect you, nor can expect yourself to respect others; because we tend to treat people the way we see and treat ourselves."It got me thinking about the concept of respect, and I think the reason we have such a lack of it in our society today is frankly people don't respect themselves anymore, and it shows in how they live their lives. If you observe carefully, you will find that even people who preach about the importance of good character don't actually live by it themselves.

So i've had this friend since middle school. Majority of the times we didn't see eye to eye however he was one of my only friends in a sense. As we got older he has tendency to disrespect me and hurt my feelings. I ended up starting to treat him like trash and saying stuff I would never tell somebody. Every time I talk to him, he just annoys me. I'm  a very closed person and he's one of the few people who talk with me. How can I tolerate him and not get angry at what he say's about me. I want to treat every human with respect but with him i contradict that and years later it hurts me when he insults me but it hurts me more when i insult him.

Friend told me her husband didnt rinse out glass before pouring her drink. And that she discovered mouse droppings in bottom of cup She's convinced he tried to poison her. I asked so mice just climb in glasses to poop? and she laughed. I seriously want to know is that likely a mouse climbed in her glass just to poop. Or could her husband put it in the glass?

How could rat turd end up in a glass. My friend lashed out at her husband for not cleaning out glass good enough before he poured her drink. She found mouse turd at the bottom of glass. I asked her so mice climb in glasses just to poop?  She laughed. I seriously wanna know how thats possible.

I moved in these apartments for two years and we had new neighbors downstairs of me. Ever since they moved in they have been blasting their loud F music every night past the quiet times which is 10pm. It will be midnight or even 1am. I wrote them a letter to be quiet and then few days later they do the SAME thing. I called secuirty maybe two times on them in a three week time frame. Right now they are doing the same thing... what can I possibly do to make these stupid people LISTEN?!?!?!?! I had enough 

My friend who thinks "she's hot" on every girl he knows is a big uninteresting perv who enjoys to play, persuade, and manipulate other people who don't enjoy sex. Not one bit. From him. He even let's girls say **** like "what's wrong with being a PEDOPHILE" loland they all talk **** for no reason and why they like babies.

I suppose now is not technically the time with social distancing and whatnot. But what about after?? I would like to make friends with ppl around my age (28-31) and similar educational background (top 50 Universities) I enjoy yoga, pilates, other workout classes, reading, movies, shows, fashion, art, interior design, comedy. Its so awkward to make new friends as an adult, because most of my peers are already married and I've outgrown my single friends. Has anyone else been through this? How do you recreate a solid girl squad??
