Posted: 17 Apr 2020 09:46 PM PDT She's 45. Would you try to salvage the relationship & where would you go from here? I found this out by accident. She doesn't know I know. I cant think clearly at the moment. |
Posted: 17 Apr 2020 08:39 PM PDT When I say safe I mean he doesn't hit me, he doesn't cheat, he's always there for me emotionally physically, mentally. If I was dying he would be the first person to call. I have anxiety and he's been there for me through all of it. I don't think any other man would handle my anxiety the way he does. Having anxiety and depression used to run a lot of men away in the past but when I met my husband he just accepted it with no problem. If I ever divorced him I would be terrified that I would never meet anyone else that would I never have to question his loyalty or love for me and never have. I do think he's attractive and I'm attracted to him physically but I'm not sure if I'm attracted to him sexually. I'm physically attracted to him sure but he doesn't have that super manly look that I like. He is more like feminine looking. I've always had a type and my husband is the complete opposite. I do have sex with him but I normally am never the one to initiate it. He's been my only sexual partner my entire life so I'm not sure if my sex drive is low or it's just him. Sex also doesn't feel like anything mind blowing. It doesn't suck but it also doesn't give me orgasms. I would say it's just an ok experience. Me and my husband are so different. I mean so different that at times it's hard to even have a simple conversation. I always imagined that I would be with a man I'm compatible with. My husband doesn't have a sense of humor. He's never made me laugh but I love to laugh I love to act silly I love to have nice romantic evenings and take spontaneous trips and eat exotic foods We even share different views on a lot of heavy topics My husband is stuck in his ways he's not adventurous he doesn't care about trying new things and he's the kind of person who can't see someone else point of view. His opinion always has to be right. He's also not romantic at all. I was not excited when he purposed to be honest. I wasn't mad but I wasn't crying with joy either I always envisioned myself being with a man that has a great sense of humor but also knows when to be serious. Someone family oriented and who sees the value of quality time. Someone adventurous and who wants to travel the world with me. Hard working. Ambitious. But also loyal and understanding. I do love my husband but I feel like I settled for my husband sometimes because the man that I envision myself being with that romantic Adventurous kind of guy is a gamble. I've always been kind of afraid to date those kind of guys because I heard they cheat and a lot of them are con artists I'm 39 years old and it terrifies me to walk away from a stable relationship with a man who loves me for something that might be the best thing in my life but it could also be the worst thing. I love love love romantic guys that plan out intricate and elaborate date nights but it's so scary to actually date one because you don't know if he's just playing with you |
Posted: 17 Apr 2020 07:51 PM PDT I'm really scared to go back to work because of the coronavirus. But My baby's father said that I should still go because we need the bills paid, and I need to make SURE, I have my other half of the rent. i really don't know what to do. Would you stay With someone like this or am I overreacting? |
Question: Why do men make you feel special and then forget about you? Posted: 17 Apr 2020 07:34 PM PDT I was talking to this man who made me feel beautiful and smart for 3 months straight talked to me until the sun came up I mean long paragraphs too then everything changed |

Question: Is this guy really divorced or not? Posted: 17 Apr 2020 07:08 PM PDT I've been talking to this guy for a few weeks now and I thought from the start that he was divorced. However, tonight he told me that they had filed the paperwork last year and that he talked to his lawyer today and that "it all would be finished by september or so of this year." Is he really divorced since he has filed all of the paperwork or is he still married? I don't want to date someone who is still married, but I know nothing about the whole divorce process. Would it be a good idea to date someone who is at this stage in the process? |

Question: How do you end estrangement? Posted: 17 Apr 2020 06:22 PM PDT My 27 yr old daughter and I are living separate while in my home. We have tried to talk and it goes nowhere. I forgot to communicate about something the other day and she was very very upset. She wrote liar and not committed on my arms in marker as a reminder. Then she had me say 100x in front of the mirror I caused a divorce from my daughter. How will we heal the relationship? |

Question: Am I a dirty sellout if I work with and/or talk to other guys and have male friends? Posted: 17 Apr 2020 05:41 PM PDT My husband, family, relatives, and in-laws think that girls should avoid all other males if they want to marry well because girls who interact with other males end up liking them and dating them which can ruin them and their husbands. My married female cousins don t have any guy friends and they ve avoided all interaction with other males before marriage. They dated guys they can marry and that s it. My married female cousins also slut-shamed me for having male friends after they saw my Facebook account so I had to get rid of these male friends so as not to look like a slut. They even think girls who keep their options open instead of committing and getting married to one guy are sluts and sellouts because girls in my family don t date all sorts of guys and/or have male friends. No good guy will ever tolerate that. Girls are considered dirty avlnd impure that way. Is it okay for my family, relatives, husband, and in-laws and/or anyone else to think of me that way, especially since I m considered attractive, mixed race, and multilingual? Or are my cousins and husband jealous because they know that I attract all sorts of guys? Or are my cousins and/or mean Monoracials are so narrow-minded that they think all mixed-race people are promiscuous and cheating hoes, especially women, that mixed people are more likely to be in verbally and physically abusive relationships and/or get divorced if they get involved with monoracial Americans or certain other monoracials who see them as confusing and shifty. |
Question: Men, if you were cheating would you ever risk checking your phone by your partner? Posted: 17 Apr 2020 05:26 PM PDT Let's say you're sitting next to your girlfriend/wife on the couch or in bed and your phone goes off. If there was any chance at all that it would be a notification that you wouldn't want your partner to see, would you risk checking your phone with her next to you or not a chance? Just curious to see how much you'd risk, would it be too tempting not to check or would you never risk it? If you do freely check your phone in front of your partner, do you have nothing to hide? Feel free to answer anonymously if you feel more comfortable that way. BTW, I'm not implying that only men cheat but I don't care if cheating women would be willing to risk checking their phone in front of their husband, I'm only interested to hear from the men. |
Posted: 17 Apr 2020 04:59 PM PDT Or is it a taboo thing? He is RN in USA . I think it is stupid to say he is not good , because I'm India his Mbbs would be almost the same minus passing the RN test and the special training for saying pediatric nursing . I'm not sure of all this but are there some idiots who would regist ? Based on this Compared to some random internal medicine doctor . I would be more impressed with him. And wish he got more respect . And am totally not judgmental. Of course he won't marry me 😂but I'm not judging |
Question: His wife tricked me! ? Posted: 17 Apr 2020 03:39 PM PDT A boy I've known from childhood is married to an older woman who is very abusive towards him. We had been talking and his wife found out. Her husband tried to blame everything on me. She played the card of female solidarity and the fact that she has a child (not his) to guilt trip me into turning against him and sending evidence of the fact he had been calling me. Now he follows her rules and will never speak to me again. How can I get him back? |

Posted: 17 Apr 2020 03:07 PM PDT They were married 5 years. They married because she was pregnant but then she had a stillbirth. Her next pregnancy was a miscarriage at 4 months. She was beat up by all this and verbally abusive. She asked for a divorce after 5 years. My Dad notes he was immature and rather arrogant then himself. So 30 some years later I saw her at something. I had looked up her picture on Facebook and showed my Mom and we laughed about it and showed my Dad. That was 5 years ago. I remember the name and I was at an event for collecting aid for COVID-19 people and we could only drop off stuff cause of social distancing and I saw her and her husband there. No kids with them. I saw on Facebook she was married with 4 kids and she had posts about adoption so her kids are adopted I am assuming. I have not looked her up since as I don't want to be stalkish. However I looked her up after meeting this person and it was definitely the same person as the ex-wife. Was I right not to say a word? |
Question: Best hardcore divorce lawyer in Chicago? Posted: 17 Apr 2020 01:51 PM PDT My husband used me for Citizenship he's illegally claiming me in his taxes we have not lived or been together for three years we have no children he has his own company and my goal is to get as much as I can from him because he is blocking my money for the stimulus check and he does not care after all I have done for him |
Posted: 17 Apr 2020 01:32 PM PDT My husband works for an apartment building as a service manager. He has started coming home smelling like cigarettes for the past month. His car has ashes too. He says he drives the contractors sometimes too. He says contractors smoke around him since they are working on the piping in the building. He says he doesn't smoke. When he is home he doesn't smoke and he doesn't smoke when he is home during the weekend. He has never cheated on me before or had any issues before with it. However he has been going to the gas station several times throughout the week. He spent about $150 dollars in 2 weeks. He drives 70 miles a day to work. Instead of filling up fully he gets gas twice a day almost. Is that weird? His car does 40mpg. He spends only about $18 each time. He has lied to me before when he said he was putting money aside from his paycheck into another account and I caught him. He gave me the details to the account. He doesn't have any odd things in there. He likes to buy alcohol sometimes and games but thats it. Should I be worried that he is buying cigarettes on the side? |
Posted: 17 Apr 2020 11:49 AM PDT they more likely to feel restless, get cold feet, et cetera? Are they more likely to lash out against their husbands and less likely to tolerate his shortcomings when they're confined with him in a small house on a small lot? |
Question: Was he wrong to cancel our anniversary vacation? Posted: 17 Apr 2020 11:37 AM PDT My husband's and my's anniversary was a few weeks ago. Several months ago we booked a few days away in Charleston, SC. We've been there before but have been wanting to go back. Now with the Covid crisis that vacation is up in limbo. He's been wanting to cancel it because we're supposed to go in June and we have until a date in May to cancel without being charged anything. I just found out today that my husband has already cancelled the vacation. He said that this covid situation is not going away anytime soon so there's no need in is trying to go anywhere in 2 months. It's not like there's going to be a vaccine soon and everyone will just return to doing what they normally do. I'm highly upset because he never discussed with me about cancelling the vacation. He just did it on his own. What should I do? |

Question: Does this mean he finally gave marriage a lot of thought? Posted: 17 Apr 2020 09:11 AM PDT We had been talking about marriage since last month and today, after a verbal fight, I asked if he will still marry me and I think he said he doesn't know because I've changed. He said to not talk about future stuff and that we have no deal. I then told him I would like to continue dating but only if he sees marriage. We made up and then 2 hours later he called again to say everything is good. |

Question: Is it healthy when your husband keeps an online relationship with an old flame? Posted: 17 Apr 2020 07:37 AM PDT My husband and I were married back in 2010. We are very compatible . Only around that time period when Facebook started really become popular. He became friends with an old sex partner from early 90s. Since they have become friends on Facebook he chats with her constantly. Almost every day for yrs. He may have slipped up once but I know now he won't go and see her because when we came to town she had hoped to see him but he didn't as we were up for an engagement. |
Question: Is it me or is it him? Posted: 17 Apr 2020 07:25 AM PDT So I went to bed last night nothing different or unusual happened. Woke up in severe pain in my stomach, nauseous, dizzy, and kept puking. It was soo bad I crying my eyes out. My husband see this and continues to get ready for work..I start puking again and crying the pain was so bad. Our 2 kiddos woke up but stayed in bed. My husband then walked to the front door says let me know if I feel any worse then leaves for work which is just down the street. Needless to say it got a lot worse. I couldn't even get out of the bathroom... my mom finds out after calling what's happening and says I need to go to the ER. She calls him and tells him he should take me in... called saying he called to get someone else to take me but they were too dark away.. plus with the covid 19 most don't want to go to a house around someone really sick. He said he can't leave because some customers wanted a few things done.... is it selfish to want him to just leave to take me to the ER especially when I was unable to even care for our kids it was so bad or am I really that unimportant to him.... |
