Posted: 02 Apr 2020 05:32 PM PDT Menaing why dont they just show interest in your life by asking questions and stuff like that... Do they just not want to converse and get to know you but want to toss out ignorant rude comments like 'youre sk quiet' and then look at you for a response as if youre a circus animal? I used to be bullied for being quiet. But ambiguous questions and statements like 'i didmt know you could talk. How come you never talk? She never talks. Shes so quiet, right you guys?' Is hard to ascertain their intent. Are they trying to make fun of me? Are they just blurting out random observations? Are they interested in getting to know you and cant think of a better way how to? |
Question: How do I kindly get out of a toxic friendship? Posted: 02 Apr 2020 05:32 PM PDT i have had an online best friend for four/five years. she's a couple years older than me. recently i have been having a very difficult time with my mental health, and whenever i find something challenging, she thinks she needs to one-up me. she is extremely pessimistic and never helps me with my problems unless it involves her. i have spoken to my therapist about her, and long story short, the relationship that we have is a narcissist/empath one. i am too scared to tell her that she is doing something wrong because of the position she always puts me in. i have been wanting to speak up for a long time... but she continuously leads me into a trap, making me believe she is the victim. if anyone knows how to kindly exit a friendship where we talk everyday (and she doesn't know i think this of her at all) please let me know. i'm really struggling here. |

Question: Why cant i move on??? Posted: 02 Apr 2020 04:33 PM PDT I used to know this girl Tamara, and we used to talk as friends. We knew each other for almost 2 years But i began catching feelings for her, and i think she began catching feelings for me too. The problem is that she was married. She began drifting away and blocked me from facebook. Tamara would talk so highly about me with Everyone We haven't talked in 14 months, but deep down i still have strong feelings for her and miss her. Ive gone out with other girls, but Tamara pops into my head. Ive never felt this way for any other girl. Am i a creep??? What is wrong with me? |
Question: Was it a good idea to ex-communicate this friend? Posted: 02 Apr 2020 03:16 PM PDT We were best friends in high school, and kept in contact for many years after. Eventually, I moved out of state, She visited me there (in NYC) once and we talked on the phone. Then disaster struck and I had a stroke. Since then and after long hospital stays I've been at home with my Parents. They live roughly an hour drive from where said friend lives. I think in roughly 7 years, She has actually come over or visited four times. Often She has excuses like "I work a lot." " Your Parents make me feel unwelcome." And so on. In addition to this Her personal and political beliefs are quite radical to mine. To the point She assumed (or at least accused) me of hating Muslims, because I posted an article on Facebook about them assaulting women in large numbers in Europe. What a ridiculous assumption! I was so shocked I didn't even address it. More recently I have begun the process of unfriending Her. For the previous things mentioned, because I think my Mom pretty much hates Her, and because She has been largely absent or a negative influence. |
Posted: 02 Apr 2020 02:40 PM PDT I have two kids, while he is single with no kids. We have had issues in the past because he has been verbally abusive. He then apologizes saying that's not what he meant. But I think saying that is ok if I die. crossed the line. |
Question: Why am I getting so annoyed with my friends!!? Posted: 02 Apr 2020 01:44 PM PDT I find myself feeling so awkward around my roommates all of a sudden. Their loud personalities and jokes i once enjoyed are all of a sudden so annoying to me. I find myself isolating away from them and smoking by myself. I just feel a peace alone. i get annoyed when they come in my room to bother me. Not sure what's been up with me recently because I would usually enjoy their company. Today one of them got mad at me because I did not split the cost of groceries with her. I told her I wanted to purchase my own and now i just feel super annoyed ugh. |

Posted: 02 Apr 2020 12:04 PM PDT So my friend is constantly bailing on me and making excuses so that we don't have to hang out. The recent excuse was that no one was allowed over his house but when I was walking by his house I seen his other friends car sitting in his driveway and now I've been ignoring all his text messages because I'm mad. I do want to ask him why he's lying but I really don't want an argument. What do I do now? |
Posted: 02 Apr 2020 10:51 AM PDT To make a long story short my freind whis a girl I have known since I was 13 years later I grew feelings soon I told her and she said ok and we was talking for a few days her bestfriend told me she was thinking about it one night she say next to me and said that she didn't want to ruin our freindship and I understand but I thought she was lying months later I started to become overly clingy/borderline stalkerish because my feelings were spent up for to long it made do things I think I couldn't do it controlled my actions I lied to her because I didn't want to lose her as a freind months later she said I'll forgive you I will never ever forget I was freed from this guilt when she said that because I apologized and told her why I did what I did and she understands and then when she had to go back in the house I stopped her and I made a pinky promise that I would never lie to her again and she looked at me and we locked pinkies And after that it was a casual hi and bye because I understand that it will take time for trust to build back up because she has trust issues and when I was in class on the last day of school before the coronavirus I asked if she could put my name in 6th place because I wanted to be there then she looked back and jokingly said how do I spell your name and I looked in utter confusion and said what..she chuckles and said she was playing and wrote my name on the board If you have any suggestions just write them down |
Question: What's so special about Billie Eilish? Posted: 02 Apr 2020 10:37 AM PDT Her songs have weird titles and I wonder why it's that way. |
Question: Will they let 2020 graduating seniors come back for prom in 2021? Posted: 02 Apr 2020 08:29 AM PDT We as a class will likely lose our prom to corona virus. Will they let us all come back and walk the halls of our old alma Mater in may of 2021 when this virus is defeated. We lost our prom and it would be nice to be allowed to at least watch the elegant dancing, and get our prom pictures taken and say final goodbyes to old friends? |
Question: COVID-19 can you still trust fast food? ? Posted: 02 Apr 2020 06:48 AM PDT I know it says the disease cannot be spread through food, And I never leave my house much anyways, but The government and everyone is telling us to use these places so they can stay in business, still don't know if I can trust who is handling my food. It's hard when fast food is so convenient and you're just too tired to cook, should it really be that much of an excuse though? I guess not.. I just need some opinions/suggestions here, I have a 2 year old daughter and we've already gotten takeout a couple times and I've only fed her a bit of it. I would be devastated if anything were to happen to her. Thank you |
Question: Is there anyway for me to remember stuff about my friends? Posted: 02 Apr 2020 01:46 AM PDT I feel like I am forgetting a lot of things about my friends like what's their parents name, middle name things like that. How do I remember the things they told me? I don't see them everyday or talk to them everyday because we are all busy people and we can't talk everyday or every week anyways I need help on how to remember these things. It's like when they tell me again I remember them saying that but after not seeing and talking to them everyday or week even months then it gets hard to remember a lot of things but then there's times where I do remember plenty of things about them later. It's complicated 😫 |
Posted: 01 Apr 2020 11:51 PM PDT I'm good at piano, fencing, debating, writing, singing, academics (not rly a talent lmao but), and acting. If you are good at multiple subjects, but not super good, is that batter than being good at fewer subjects but being insanely proficient? |

Question: Is this a good example of hypocrisy? Posted: 01 Apr 2020 09:04 PM PDT So I know several people who think it is bad for a man to physically abuse his wife/kids. But these same people think it is okay if a classmate fights another classmate. Like they maybe dare one classmate to fight the other classmate or get excited to see 2 classmates physically fighting. They even cheer it on or get their phones out to record it. They make fun of who ever "pu**ies out". So my question is, if someone thinks it's okay if classmate A beats up another classmate B, but think's it's wrong if classmate B gets physically abused by his/her dad is that hypocritical? I mean both situations involve that same person getting physically hurt by another person. One situation it is a classmate beating him/her up, the other is his/her father beating him/her up. In simple terms, is it hypocritical to be against child abuse but be okay with say a student physically hurting another student? |
Question: Does this make you a wussy/pu**y? Posted: 01 Apr 2020 08:58 PM PDT So I was recently with 2 friends. One of them was telling us a story about a 17 year old boy hitting an 18 year old woman with a baseball bat (on purpose, not on accident). The other friend was like "Okay. That's kind of dark. Pal" when he heard the story. I always thought that if you said anything like that, people would think your a wussy. I thought being scared of stories like that would make you sound like a pu**y/wussy. That's why I didn't say anything like that. Does saying "That's kind of dark" in response to being told a story about some teenage boy hitting a teenage girl with a baseball bat (which resulted in her being hospitalized) make you sound like a pu**y/wussy? I thought it would so that's why i didn't react the way my friend did. P.S. me and one friend finished college and the other one is still in college. We are grown men. |
Question: Do you think it’s creepy for a 30 year old to stalk a 23 year old? Posted: 01 Apr 2020 08:58 PM PDT This 30 year old woman kept watching my stories and liking my pictures on Instagram and she didn't even follow me. |
Question: What can I do to help myself? Posted: 01 Apr 2020 08:55 PM PDT So to give a brief summary, i'm in my teen with a family of 4. I already asked a question before and everyone just said to move out but obviously it's not an option at the moment. So now i'm asking how do I deal with my situation? My family is toxic and i don't have any close friends i can really talk to, the friends I have are those friends you just talk to or play games with. I'm very grateful with where I am and i thank god for what I have but sometimes i feel like i'd rather have less and be happy than be given the opportunities I have and be like this. I don't have any career choice figured out yet but i still have a lot of time to figure that out, but my parents believe i should decide that so early and i feel like i can never talk to them. I feel lost a lot, I know its gonna sound really bad and i'm gonna sound like an ungrateful sensitive brat but i'm just not happy with where i am in life. I feel worthless on a daily basis. I've been trying to work on myself by exercising, trying to find hobbies, etc. But it just doesn't seem to make me any happier. What do I do? My parents are divorced however they live in the same house while my dad still dates |
Question: Woman posts of herself crying? Posted: 01 Apr 2020 07:51 PM PDT Woman I had some interest in posted a video of herself for the community crying due to the virus. She misses everyone. She and I are both social workers. It didn't bother me but my friends said that she seems like trouble. Are they right? That seems unfair but I don't know. |
Question: I had plans to hang out with this girl then she blocked me? Posted: 01 Apr 2020 07:10 PM PDT Well I became friends with this girl on Instagram and Facebook, she does brows so I messaged her asking if she could do my brows one day, she was super nice and said yes. I also asked her if we could hang out one day and she could show me how to do makeup cause she is so pretty and good at makeup, she also said yes and even said she was super excited and couldn't wait. So I'm thinking I made a new friend 😊 well a few days go by and I ask her if she would like to hang out, and she said yes, whenever. So I asked if we could today and she can tell me what she thinks she can do with my brows, well she never responded. I noticed she deleted her face book( or blocked me?) and then I couldn't even find her Instagram so I'm guessing she blocked me.. that seems a bit dramatic when all I wanted was to be friends. Why would she do that?? |
Question: Does my friend like me? Posted: 01 Apr 2020 06:50 PM PDT I'm a pansexual girl, and I have been crushing alot on one of my friends who is OPENLY lesbian. I told her how I felt about her but she never gave me a yes or no answer. Now before you tell me I'm a idiot, heres my reasoning. 1. she has held my hand and cuddled with me various times unprompted and i know she does not do this to her other friends. 2. alot of the time she jokingly flirts saying you can sleep with me and then saying jk lol, or something like that. 3. people sometimes thinks we are actual couples, and when they ask, she gets very flustered. 4. she makes alot of sexual jokes around me. 5. at dances we go to, she has a tendency if grinding on me, and usually im not sure what to do... aha. |
