Question: I feel dumb. I thought he was gonna propose..come to find out? Posted: 26 Dec 2019 01:40 PM PST he wanted my ring size to buy me a ring as a gift [which he didn't buy. said he didn't find one he liked] he asked me a week before christmas but the whole month before that he joked about ;;; us getting married what our wedding would be like rings being on sale getting me a ring for christmas pointing out ring stores saying "See we should get married for ___insert reason here___ etc So Christmas came and is gone and no proposal. Obviously he didn't want my ring size because of that. I already feel SOOO embarrassed and dumb that I got so caught up. Should I feel offended? Idk? Am I overreacting? Maybe I feel hurt, too. |
Question: My fiancé’s parents are nice to my face yet told him they aren’t attending our wedding ? Posted: 26 Dec 2019 12:15 PM PST So my fiancé and I just graduated college together, we graduated from LSU and he played LSU baseball for all four years. His family is nice to me yet told him they will not be attending our wedding. It's just so strange to me and I can't wrap my head around why other than it possibly being a race issue. (I'm mixed). His parents are so sweet to me always to the point that I couldn't even picture them saying anything bad about me, but apparently they have and now it's just made it clear after they declined attending our wedding. It's really taking a toll on my fiancé and I just can't understand why they would do this. Any advice or answers would help. |
Question: Why am I so attracted to turkish and other balkan girls? Posted: 26 Dec 2019 09:37 AM PST I don't mean gypsies (although I never had anything with them,I mean, I am totally cool with them) but girls from turkey or balkan muslim countries with long dark or brown hair, pale skin, naturally red lips, who have this oval, or heart shaped face with arched eyebrows, who are shy but yet passiomate and affectionate. I don't mean those primadonna girls who love to live on their boyfriend's money but those humble girls who either work or study but still live with their parents and never had a boyfriend. Some girl who will wear floral conservative dresses in summer and run like she's a little girl in the green fields while melting because she saw a little lamb and then she asks the old shepherd if she can hold one of them. Why am I surrounded with girls who make duck faces and listen to billie eilish and are all stupid and mean? Why am I a white guy who fell in love with turkey and balkan muslim countries? I like them so much. Where can I find a simple, good hearted special girl? |
Question: Long story short: After my wedding venue messed up, and double booked my Saturday date? Posted: 26 Dec 2019 12:49 AM PST I am having my wedding the day after on Sunday (5 days before Christmas). I know most are out of school by then and some have that week off of work. I'm just having so much anxiety that people won't want to come because its on a Sunday. Im trying to justify it by telling myself that the people that matter will be there, and all that matters at end of day is I marry the love of my life. I'm just in my head "what if no one dances, or enjoys themeselves". Any advice? Or ideas to make the situation better. We are having an open bar, good DJ, etc. but idk... |
