I shared a bed with him one night tho we just talked not even a kiss. After i left he messaged me that i left some things and if i wanted to ski again he could bring them to me..now two days later he posts on facebook him hiking with another girl. Im so confused |

I was recovering from a brain injury shortly after we became friends and he visited me in the hospital twice. He broke up with his then GF shortly after. He posted all over my facebook. We were housemates the next year but I declined a dance with him at our church dance. He dated someone else for 2.5 years. After they broke up we started talking and texting frequently. I went on dates with others but developed a huge crush on my friend. I backed off after telling him "I'm afraid to tell my BFF that I love him." He said I hope that is not about me. I backed off a ton. I dated someone in grad school and we were serious for two years but broke up because he was emotionally abusive. During this time my friend started a relationship with someone. I saw my friend at some college friends weddings this year and he brought his GF who I also know. I obviously left them alone and danced with other random guys at the wedding! I have been dating guys on and off this year but think I have feelings for my old friend. I think he will get engaged to his girlfriend. For Christmas, I made him two types of cookies that he likes and he said that he was going to get me something. I told him he didn't have to because I just wanted to get him something because it's Christmas and I wasn't expecting anything in return. But he told me that he was going to anyway. He was like "I'm going to. I'm going to get your something. You made me two things of cookies!" So I just accept this that he is going to get me something after all. I wait all the way up until Christmas and now New Years is approaching and he never gave me anything or even acknowledged that he was going to. Im trying to work out, and diet but I still cant get over my desire for super hot women; i know its shallow and wrong, but i also don't want to "settle" and lower my standards. Its not fair to the woman and its insulting to her. Is there any way i can get off of the "all about looks and sex mentality"? My definition of hot falls in line with societies definition- skinny, blonde etc. Or am i truly better off suiciding? I think id rather die than settle , or live alone permanently. Usually I thought only significant others eat after them but we're not together and he said he'd finish my food that I chewed on. He's single as far as I know and he's like 32 years old with no kids. I don't plan on having kids. When I was in the living room he was in the room next to the living room sitting down and he kind of looked at me a few times. Then he came into the living room for a few minutes with just me in there but didn't sit next to me then. So I sent him a friend request on FB the day after and he accepted it early in the morning the day after that.I asked if he was [insert name's] cousin and not even 30 minutes later he texted yep. Ended it about 2 weeks ago. When he dropped of I let him know it was the final goodbye and last time seeing each other in life. I had his back in fact he grabbed my hand the last night I saw him because he was having chest pain/shakes from withdrawal but didn't want to go to hospital. I accepted him, forgave him, and supported him and not many women would deal with the baggage especially child (won't again). I wished him well and told him to take care in life and said based on his actions and words I had to end it because it seems like he doesn't want me in his life and I can't deal. I asked if he had something nice to say like "wish you well too" or "good luck" and he said "no" three times like I was an enemy. Also he said he lied about loving me and being in a real relationship (that part doesn't bother me due to the lack of wishing well...which is like saying you basically want me to fail). Then a "Hi" text about two days after the incident which I ignored because I was creeped out and in disbelief. Now it's almost two weeks later and he never even said "sorry" or "I wish you well". Not that I want to talk to him but you would think I stole from him or cheated or something. I just never did anything wrong and loved him. Help???? What gives??? How could someone sleep at night and not care to at least say sorry instead of "hi" like it's a big joke. No decency. |

Some of His family members were involved with santeria/palo religion but he was NOT. I told him how uncomfortable that was and told him if he ever got into that I would leave him because that made me very uncomfortable. He told me I didnt have anything to worry about and he wasnt interested in that. 12 yrs down the line he tells me he wants to get involved with Palo/santeria even though he knows how I feel about it. He"s going to do it regardless of how I feel and now I have to move on. I feel sick, heartbroken, and devastated. I love him so much, but I cant help that, that religion makes me uncomfortable and scared. What are your thoughts on this? |

Basically one of my best friends introduced me to some of her friends who are also guys and I'm friends with them cause we've hung out and talked to a while now but I don't want to lie. The other problem is one of the guys I really connected with and he makes me feel like I matter and I just can't stop smiling when I think about him but I'm not allowed to date what do you think I should do? |
| Question: Why do people think I'm weird? Posted: 28 Dec 2019 04:13 PM PST A lot of people think I'm weird because I dont talk much. I like to keep to myself and I prefer to do solitary activities and go out alone. It would be cool to go on a date but I just dont approach any women, not even approach guys to be friends with. So me preferring to keep to myself why do people see that as weird? Why do some people who are supposedly my friends always ask me if I have a girlfriend? Do they think I'm gay? Do they not understand I'm an introvert who prefers loneliness?When I was in middle school my parents ended up homeschooling me, I then lost almost the rest of my teenage years gone for attempted murder and got out at around 19 . I now dont trust society and think everyone is deceptive, which they are. Everyone is deceptive. I'm 23 now. |

I've been talking to a girl for 3 months and she originally said she wasn't interested. I gave up trying but then she started talking to me all day every day for the past month and a half. She got really flirty and said that she thinks that things are changing. Everything was going great up until Friday the 27th of December. That was yesterday from when this was posted. Thursday night, the topic of our relationship status was brought up again and she said she doesn't know how she's gotten such a good friend. She then apologized and said that she said friend because she's confused and doesn't know how she feels. I was confused because she said she thought things were changing and told me she felt something for me. We talked in person on Friday and she said she doesn't know if it's because friendship is more valuable to her or if it's because she doesn't feel anything for me but she said she can't ever see anything more. I can't help but feel like all of this is my fault. I lit her in this position by asking for her number originally when I had no indication she felt anything for me. I put her in a terrible position and now I think there's something wrong with me that she's found. I have never been in any sort of relationship before and every time I put myself out there I just end up getting hurt. I feel like a complete failure and am thinking of just giving up. I've hung out with Rob in the past but decided to stop being around him and so has my boyfriend (due to his ignorance). In the past Rob has talked about my boyfriends family specifically his mother even went as far as calling her a nasty name. I immediately stopped him in his tracks and told him how disrespectful he was. He even tried telling me personal things about my boyfriends life before I got to know him. Did that make me a shitty person for not telling my partner what was said? I didn't want to hurt him. |

| Question: Why am I always worried about him?!? Posted: 28 Dec 2019 03:46 PM PST I know it's not my place anymore but my ex and I broke up a couple of months ago and I'm still thinking about him. We've been talking on and off but I initiate everything and I'm afraid that it's making me look pathetic. Please don't judge me for this and believe me I want to get over him but it's an everyday process. Yesterday I was bored and looking through Instagram and noticed he followed some girls from his school ( they have a lot of followers so he probably doesn't stand out even though he is nice looking) but still one of them follows linebackers from the school so it's not rlly worrying My ex broke up with me due to distance and told me he needed something closer but he treated me rlly well when we were together. This worries me because some of the girls he follows go to his school and I'm wondering how he met them. Like I said they have like a thousand followers so I'm not worried and I'm not a bitter ex but some of the girls he follows aren't that cute and don't go to his school so I wonder how he finds them too and why he followed them I know it's none of my business which is what kills me. He's big on Islam , but insists he's not an extremist .Then he told me he wanted to marry me and have 4 children .Then he gets jealous if I don't answer straight away and asks who I'm talking too Then he keeps asking me to visit him but I haven't agreed .Before anyone judges me ....I've not agreed to anything with him because I think it's weird or somethings not right .I don't think it's normal to be jealous of someone that quickly and be desperate for them to visit .Please tell me I'm not being paranoid . |
