Posted: 30 Dec 2019 08:42 PM PST Me and my husband have had issues our entire relationship even when we were just dating it's arguments everyday, we have different viewpoints on almost everything and he is very controlling. I've been trying so hard to make it work because I don't believe in divorce and I want to beat the statistics. I want us to be able to stand the test of time. ANYWAYS. We argue so much to the point where I don't even have any desire to have sex. Sex has always been on his terms anyways. He never cared about me being satisfied. I've NEVER got an orgasm. I have had this male friend i've been friends with like 12 years but during the time that i've been married I haven't talked to any of my guy friends face to face. I only talk to them through text. My friend recently called me and wants to have lunch with me. The thing with this particular guy friend is that although I would love to have lunch with him I kind of don't trust myself because I'm very attracted to him not only physically but mentally. He's always been there for me. My guy friend makes me laugh until I cry. He supports my dreams, he wants to help me run this buisness. We vibe well together. I know a sense of humor isn't really important in a relationship but my husband has never once made me laugh ever.. My friend said that the lunch is just between two friends catching up and talking buisness also. He said nothing more. I'm so attracted to him though I feel like something might happen and I don't want to be tempted.. I'm in a tough situation because I don't want to seem like a bad friend. The entire time I've been married i've been blowing all of my female friends and male friends off and I'm starting to feel really bad... I'm so torn right now.. help? advice? I lost my virginity to my husband also, he has been my first and only.. Me and husband got married when I was 19. I am 29 now. |
Question: Husband can’t hold a job divorce? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 08:37 PM PST My husband of 10 years can't hold a job. I've moved so many times for him it's making it next to impossible for me to keep stable employment. Since 2012 my husband has had at least 20 jobs. We've moved a total of 14 times since we've gotten married and we've lived in 6 different cities. I'm 32 years old and I can't take this lifestyle anymore. It's impacting my career, my life, my families life. His parents are basically helping to support us because he can't keep a stable job. I am also working 2 jobs but my income is tight for two people. I'm a teacher and I work at a grocery store at night. He constantly blames his joblessness on the area we live in. He SOMEHOW gets these great paying job offers (he went to school for engineering) we move for his new job then he's constantly getting fired after 2-3 months. I love my husband but I can't take much more!!! He wants to move again this May after I finish the school year teaching. He's employed part time currently making 80 per day. Should I file for divorce? Honestly I'm so miserable at this point. Any advice? I love him but this instability is ruining my life! He REFUSES to talk to a medical professional too |
Posted: 30 Dec 2019 08:08 PM PST I got married a year ago I had a good job and he made me quit my job I had a lot of clothes when we got married and he made me throw it away promising he'd buy new clothes for me, we went to Vegas with his family and he bought himself new 300$ shoes and didn't even ask if I needed anything by this time I was wearing my old clothes and it already had holes in it his sister asked why he didn't buy me anything and his response was I just bought her something and he really didn't by the end of the trip I was so sad and he says I ruined it but he didn't even buy me food? Now for the holidays and my birthday coming up he says we won't do anything not even go for a walk I wrote him a nice card and he didn't even keep it he threw it away... all of the clothes I have is old and has holes I only have one old pair of shoes and he always buys himself weed and new clothes he got himself a Christmas gift except for me not even a card And whenever I get sick he makes me get over it and cook for him he always thinks I'm lying when I get sick |
Posted: 30 Dec 2019 06:56 PM PST I'm going to be 30 next year. I grew up in a good household, although somewhat abusive because of my father and bad nannies. I do have OCD and mental illnesses, and for the past ten years, I've been working on my health. Things have been going pretty well for me. I'm a college professor now with hopes of going back to school for a PhD. But somehow, I still feel like I'm abnormal. For the past ten years, I've obsessed (and I mean OBSESSED) with falling in love. I was in abusive relationships and let men treat me badly. But not anymore. I'm much stronger now, and sometimes, even though I'm still a romantic at heart, I don't think I want to get married or have children.I have absolutely no desire to have kids. I adore them, but I don't want any of my own. And I've stopped caring so much about finding love. But somehow, I feel abnormal. I feel like a loser. I still live at home with family, but I'm working hard to get my own house. Some people have told me I should grow up, but I think I'm doing pretty well. Is there something wrong with me for being happily single and free at 30? |
Posted: 30 Dec 2019 06:55 PM PST My husband filed for divorce after us not being together for about 4 years. He sent me the papers and I did my part and signed it and I sent them back. It has now been 2 years and he still has not paid his lawyer to finalize the divorce. I have asked and asked him to please finish paying the lawyer off so we can get this over with and after asking for 2 years, he has blocked me. I offered to pay his lawyer but he says his lawyer will not accept money from me and he wants me to send money directly to himself. I don't think so because I can't trust the man. What can I do to finalize this divorce?? I want it over with so I can move on with my life. I still feel trapped. I met a new guy and he is amazing. But I still feel like I'm trapped with my soon to be ex. |
Posted: 30 Dec 2019 06:47 PM PST We've been married 23 years. We have six kids. My first child was with an alcoholic I was married to for a year he was an absentee father. I've tried my darndest to hold my family together but my husband would not stop cheating on me for the first 17 years of our marriage leaving me often while I was pregnant or could not work due to bed rest. He never willingly told me about any of the affairs . When I finally fell into a deep depression and couldn't take it anymore he changed and stop doing what he was doing. For three years he tried very hard to make things right and to be a good husband although he periodically would still dabble in lying and porn. He is a sex addict. I became so depressed I couldn't feel anything good anymore except love for my children.I tried many medications and doctors. I cannot use ssris due to a genetic defect that makes me not put them in the right place. I've tried many others as well. When I had given up hope on our marriage and on myself I was at the point of possibly ending my life. I believed our marriage was over and As a desperate, selfish attempt to stay alive I slept with someone else, one time. I told my husband almost immediately because I felt so guilty. He has not been able to stop being cruel to me. it's been two and a half years. I've not lied or cheated since nor did I before but I can't take this anymore. How long is it right for him to punish me? |

Posted: 30 Dec 2019 02:53 PM PST Just in general, I just saw a movie where I got this question from, so the question is NOT about me, lol. The person was married to someone they didn't loved and eventually liked some else. (they were just talking about feeling, not kissing or having sex!), so the person broke up with her/he liked and then *later* went on dating the other guy. Would consider that as "cheating" (or adultery because the movie was Victorian era, but this question is more general)? |
Question: Is infidelity always serious? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 02:32 PM PST What should you do if you are a petite 37 year old woman with a baby face, your husband will be 40 in a few weeks, and you have had an open ACS case with an episode of child neglect by your husband six years ago, and there is some circumstantial evidence through the woman letting me know by including me suddenly in mutual texts scheduling a visit, that your husband who was a virgin when he met you and had never known any other women, may have recently slept with the 54 year old government worker sent into the home for the past two years to oversee the case and the household. If you have always had a very beautiful and tight vagina but your husband was too inexperienced to appreciate you, but now he is really desiring you and your vagina and the sex is much, much better, and he is giving you expensive gifts at the time of sex, should you forgive him? Especially if now they are closing the case by mid January and we will have our privacy back? Or is infidelity always serious even if afterwards, your husband loves you more? We have been married almost ten years so this is an adjustment for me. All this time my husband was inexperienced. We got married when we were very young. |
Question: How many licks does it take to wear down my marriage? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 01:43 PM PST right now, I'm averaging about twenty-seven licks a day. how long until my wife leaves me? how many licks does it take to get custody? URGENT |

Posted: 30 Dec 2019 01:29 PM PST My husband works with this female coworker and he quickly brushed (swiped) her back in a joking way when he walked past her coming back from lunch. I was walking behind him and asked what he did and he said I brushed her. Should I be upset about that? Or let it go? He says that he is married and he is not interested in anyone else. |
Question: What is a good reason a married man need to watch porn? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 12:42 PM PST A male co-worker of mine said he watches porn. When he was asked by another employee he said because he was horny. He is married so why can't he just have sex with his wife and not watch porn! |
Question: What would you do in my situation? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 11:33 AM PST Okay so I am 36 years old and have a 12 yr old son and twin girls. My husband passed away in 2015 and I've been living with my parents to help me with the kids and to just make ends meet financially. I have 2 jobs at the moment to try make as much as I can. Anyway I met a man online. We decided to meet after chatting for about 2 months. We ended up being intimate a few times. I am not sure but i think i might be pregnant. My parents do not know about this man...what would you do? I am so scared. My parents will be so dissapointed in me. I know I should wait until I know for sure. But In the mean time...I would appreciate advice please? Just in case. And if it was you would you tell the father? I have this feeling he will be very upset if I am. He has 2 children of his own from a failed marriage. |
Question: Is it wrong to keep finding out people’s personal information online? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 11:26 AM PST I found out where this women lives (full address) and where she studied/ who her husband is and so on. I also, found out where this other women lives and turned up in her street and took photos of her house. |

Question: My fiance has got fired from his job.. what should I do?!? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 09:57 AM PST My husband came home crying and he had fallen to pieces. He's been doing that job in mental health services for 33 years now and I was so confused at first why he would've got fired We sat down at spoke, he said it was because a patient of his falsely accused him. I was understandably angry and I went into his work to discuss it ONLY FOR ME TO BE TOLD THAT MY HUSBAND IS LYING! they said that he subtly flirted with a 16 year old girl over the past year and took her out in his car without his managers permission and he offered to take her back to the house with him and then I was told that my husband had admitted to having feelings towards her. There was an investigation over this last year and he was let off but the 16 year old girl made a request for the investigation to be reopened because apparently it damaged her mental health. He was interviewed on both occasions but the only reason why he got away with it the first time was because he lied to the manager about not doing it and he pinned the blame on to her. Im distraught and very angry. Shall I leave him? We've been together for 22 years and he's my fiance but sometimes I find it easier to call him my husband Why should I believe he wasn't in the wrong? There's been two investigations over this and I was completely oblivious to the first one. He hid things and lied just to cover his a$$ |
Question: My partner of 30 years doesn’t want to get married? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 09:50 AM PST We have 3 kids together all adults now We are engaged but is it possible he only proposed to me just to keep me quiet? Please someone give me a reason why he refuses? Is he not that dedicated to me? Is he uncertain and may leave ? We got engaged 20 years ago Both of his parents are dead He's evasive so I can't speak to him about it |
Posted: 30 Dec 2019 09:45 AM PST Like... if a man and woman are close in a picture and smile and put their arms around each other does it mean they're an intimate happy married couple off camera? I'm asking because my dad is always close to my mom on her Facebook pictures and smiling but in real life they argue a lot so I'm wondering if this is the case for other people too? |

Question: My fiance is not motivating to me at all, but is that an excuse? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 09:00 AM PST She sits around a lot and is really fat. She convinced me not to go t ok this job interview I just had lined up for today because it was too far away. Yet we both are unemployed. Shes got every excuse in the world not to lose weight or find a job. We luve together. Should I give her another chance? I feel trapped. I miss living in the city sometimes. The country is so boring and I feel isolated with no friends. There's too many bugs out here too. I'm kind of sick of her negative attitude all the time too because of her kids, family and divorce. It's a lot of baggage for me. Shes really good to me sometimes, but I am frustrated with this messy house and hoarding. It's been a slow process. I often find myself wanting to be with some one younger or have a mistress. She's good to me, but gets in these horrible moods and is a bit of a slob. I feel like all I do is clean the house. Plus we got these 5 wild dogs that just trash the place. And too many stray cats outside. I dont want to get rid of any of the animals, I just feel like I dont got much control over my life I'm tired of being poor and like I feel like shes just miserable or way too dang high strung. Shes got all this damn energy all of a sudden when I'm winding down, then smothers the crap out of me if I'm in my boxer shorts. I dont want to leave her though or give up because we got a good thing going, but the Bill's are cheap out here, but the jobs do not pay much and are far away. I am able to pay the Bill's because I find temp work doing construction. She also collects unemployment Yeah but I dont have money to move out and I have dogs I wont get rid of. I used to make good money in the city. I feel like she wants me trapped here. I feel stuck. The only thing I'm looking forward to is starting a band. |

Question: My MIL is coming over for New Year’s Eve. ? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 05:15 AM PST I have never been the one to want to have a bad relationship with my MIL, but unfortunately regardless of what I did she always disliked me. I tried many times to get her to like me but I finally gave up. Me and my husband, We have not been getting along well these last few months and it has always been because of my MIL. She pretends to like me but won't hesitate to try to set me up or make bad comments about me to my husband when I'm not around. years ago she told my husband I had an abortion at the time when we had a miscarriage. he went from being supportive to hurting me for even bringing that up to me. they go for long periods of time without talking to each other. And then back to being good again. recently I talked to her concerning our son, I was not trying to invite her though. She was supposed to come before then. She decided she would show up a day before thanksgiving so she could stay. When she comes over they isolate themselves and ignore me. They are In their little world with the kids. And occasionally include me. When my family is over we include everyone. I'm used to him being a total fake when his mother comes around. lately he was being very nice to me. and this morning before leaving for work he announces that she is coming over for New Year's Eve. this is our house and I'm pregnant at the moment and I did not plan on wanting to feel left out in my own house on New Year's Eve. Can I even say no. |

Question: I'm a grown adult but my parents are overbearing and hovering constantly? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 01:27 AM PST I'm 26, I'm married and my husband and I just hit a financial wall. My husband suddenly got laid off of the business he was working at. He was an assistant manager working at the same place for 4 years and he never got so much as a warning. Without both of us paying for things, we can't survive. We had to put in a 30 day notice to our apartment and with that we had to pay this months rent. That ate up most of what we had saved for emergencies. Being forced to move out, my parents allowed us to move into my grandmothers house with them while they care for it. My grandmother lives in a nursing home now and someone's gotta live in her house. Anyway, it's only been 2 days and my parents are hovering, constantly watching us, sharing an opinion about everything. Changing and doing stuff with our things while we aren't around. By profession I'm an artist. I have a semi successful comic on Webtoon, and I do commissions as well. Together my husband and I made fair income. I like to work 12-16 hours at my desk. Now I can't get any time in at night because my father can't stand to have any lights on at night. I'm going to be so far behind on my work, not that they think what I do is real work, that i won't be able to catch up. I've tried to tell them that I need light to work, I need to work and no I wont get another job. My jobs are this and being a full time house wife. I need to get this done now or it'll never get done. I don't know what to do. Talking to them never works. Also, this angers my husband as well. We are both appreciative that we had somewhere to go while we build ourselves back up again, but as a married couple in our late 20s, having parents constantly intervening their way into nearly everything we do, it's already gotten to us. There are little to no boundries. My dad walks into our bedroom day or night without knocking. He's got the "my house, my rules" mentality. It's wrong, uncomfortable and downright absurd. This is going to end badly. The person that talked about the rule of thumb, life doesn't always work out like that. There would be no way to save that much money while still in our 20s. We'd both have to work 100 hours each a week to do that. And that's no exaggeration. Maybe it was possible in your generation, but not in this one. We both work our asses off just to survive. Your advice might have been great 40 years ago, but not today, sir. Thank you for trying to help, but that was a very big assumption that we are irresponsible. If that's what you call irresponsible, then I hope one day we can be as perfect as you. Must be great to never have life kick you in the a** so many times that it eats up your savings several times. |
