Everyday when I come home from school my step father just sits around on his PC and has me and my mom doing all of the chores around the house and then on the weekends my mom goes to work so he has me doing every chore needed while he isn't helping out or anything he just sits on his PC all day and does nothing and then he yells at me and tell me to not have an attitude even though I'm not and he also uses my 5 yr old sister to annoy me by throwing toys at me and leaving marks and he just ignores it and I'm too scared to talk to him because I know he's just gonna tell more and make me do even more when I already clean enough around the house I think I should just deserve better than what im dealing with right now

I am a 15 year old soccer player and I joined this soccer club in my city but family don't really support me doing what I love. Like they encourage me to do better in school and stuff but sports are what am good at. I do decent at school but they should at least care a little and pay and give me a ride to games. I started to work just to pay and for them to give me a ride but I don't they even take it serious. What should I do to take my interest serious. I could seriously be those kids that be vaping and smacking and doing crack at 15 but all I want is to play. Is it that hard? Some of my friends told me their parents suggested they should play sports like???? Why are some parents like that and some parents are like mine.

I had a volunteer that helped me in my school library that I paid out of pocket every week, totaling up to $185 a month. Everything was going well until one day, she told me she couldn't make it in. The excuses kept coming. And sometimes, she would ask to borrow money in advance before coming to work. Promising me that she would. Long story short, I've given this girl well over $400. I suspect she quit coming because of a new love interest that she have not posted yet. Idk. As of now, she's currently not working. A couple of her friends have fallen out with her. Can someone please tell me what's going on? Great answers!!!! Thank you'll! I didn't just meet her. She was a former student. 

I've messed up. Badly. There is no opportunity for me to reconcile with my family as I have permanently damaged my relationship with them. My mother made it clear that she will make a decision on whether or not to kick me out of the house later today after she wakes up from a long-needed slumber. Nothing seems to be in my favor, so now I'm frantically preparing to be kicked out.  I'm a 17-year-old girl. I am currently unemployed (although I have applied to several jobs in my area and awaiting to hear a response), I do not have a working car, I'm still finishing high school, and I don't have very much to my name since I am responsible for my own food and products (net worth at $621.34). I'm positive that I have enough of my own luggage bags to pack my essentials. I would be forced to leave a lot behind, but at this point, none of it obviously matters as long as I have what I need. The main problem currently is that I have nowhere to go. I do not have any close friends that would be willing to house me temporarily until I can hopefully live on my own. I am not close or acquainted with any relatives that would be willing to house me either. It would be a huge burden on my boyfriend and his mother to house me since they already struggle financially, and I have no way of reaching them either way since they live all the way in Canada (while I live in the U.S.). I cannot afford to fly out very soon. Where else can I go? What services should I reach out to for help?

I even been to the hospital and the first time he never visited and I was kind of dying, neither the second, or third. Now when they found out what was the cause of the issue he visited me 1 time for 5 mins. The second time I had to beg him to give me some of my clothes and he stayed for 1 min. When it comes to everyone else my dad stays in the hospital with them for hours and visits everyday and they dont even have to ask. I asked my dad to go to the movies he said he has to visit someone in the hospital, I said okay when he comes back. He said I should just go by myself. I know its pitiful but Im sobbing, my dad is 80yrs old, and whether its him or me that dies IDK I want to hang out sometimes. I tried to tell him about it and he showed no sympathy, even slammed the door. I am mad at myself for crying.

When my sister and I were little we had an uncle(not our uncle anymore) he would bite our cheeks extremely hard to the point that made my sister cry. when people came over our house we would hide just Incase it was that uncle coming over. I'm visiting my parents from another state my dad was very violent growing up but I moved on there is a certain memory in my head that I just CANNOT forget about, 7 years ago when I was 14 It's about my dad. Once he was at the door and wanted to come in, I only had a towel on I try to have my hand out so that he would not enter, He says I pushed him and I didnt He then pushes me to the bed and my towel falls off and im naked I kick to get him away and he falls but when he gets up he has a weird grin on his face He then gets ontop of me and I feel him up against me and it was so odd, He then got up and left He never explained why he needed to come in and kept repeating that I pushed him, Why would he be grinning though?? So my boyfriend recently has been having tension with his mom as his mom is totally irrational to him, makes him do all the housework, tells him she hates him and makes breakfast for his whole family (His dad, brother and sister) but not him. I want to comfort him but I dont know what to say. It's silly to go on Yahoo answers for help but I'm at a stump so help lol.

So I moved in with him after we've been together for a year and while I was with him I was still using dating apps incase I found someone better looking or something but kept it private and eventually I found another more attractive guy but kept it a secret from my boyfriend and I got with the other guy and would see him secretly and eventually my boyfriend saw the messages on my phone and knew i had another boyfriend and kicked me out. i'm crying because i have no where else to live

So a while back my Dad met my bestfriend they hit it off and I decided we could be one big family bc her Dad had recently passed away and I thought it would be good for her to have a sense of family. A couple years or so down the road she bought some property and my Dad would go and help her and her husband get things done on it he started giving them money bc they were struggling my friends husband was a hardcore alcoholic. I had given up on her ever leaving the situation but my Dad saw what was happening and we both tried to help boost her self-esteem and finally she left him. My Dad continued helping her and she found a new great guy and got married. But they still drink constantly and now my Dad is an alcoholic. He has mood swings is mean to my youngest child and is falling over drunk almost everytime I see him. He is convinced he'll be happy once this property is set up and has dumped his time and money into it. Only it doesn't seem like my friend is ever going to put anything in his name just let him live on part of it. I don't understand why he is still spending so much of his time and money on this property he is getting older and should be enjoying retirement. I finally told him I didn't understand why he is doing all of this and that he needed to stop drinking so much and stop harping on my youngest child and now he isn't answering my text idk what to do I love my Dad.

So I'm a single man who lives alone and I was working in my yard raking leaves from the fall and a random big dog ran into my yard and jumped on me and then started biting and scratching me to the point i was bleeding and then trying to bite my neck and i tried to fight it off but it kept biting and i ended up getting a black eye, later, the owner ran into my yard and told me it's her dog and she's sorry that he got loose and she grabbed the dog and put a coller on it and left my yard with it, this was a few hours ago and i'm not sure what to do um this happened and i'm asking what to do thanks

I'm 19 years old and I'm home for a month until I return to college. I smoke weed on occasion to ease stress, and me being stupid, thought I could get one over on my parents by smoking in the bathroom. So I turn on some music, turn on the shower, and smoke with a window cracked and a towel under the door.  So I smoke my blunt, clean up my stuff and get out of the bathroom. When I open the door stoned, my mother is at the door wide eyed, probably from the smell that I did a terrible job at masking. My sister used most of the hot water, so there was likely a lingering smoke smell in there. She then calls me no more than a minute later saying, "*myname*, you were smoking???"  I reply, "yeah, a cigar.."  she says, "WHY??"  Me being stoned out of my mind with my head peeking out of the door, just give her a big shrug as she walks away and I close my door. I panic and regret everything almost instantly. I haven't spoken to my parents yet, but I'm almost certain that my mom told my dad something about the situation. What do I do? My parents vehemently reject weed despite my near certainty that they've  used it in the past. I've been in my room, anxiously waiting and not wanting to walk out awkwardly having to explain myself. Please help.

So I was with two people last night, not related to me, at a party. Their mother died in 2013 and left the house to the daughter that's infuriating the two sons and the other daughter. The daughter who got the house that taken care of the ailing mother for years. That daughter is very very sweet. One of the sons is nice also but he does not speak to his sister because she got the house and he didn't. The other side is an ***. I don't know the sister. Now the two brothers will not speak to the sister who got the house however, they wanted all four kids to get an equal share. Are they right? Or is the sister who got the house right? Who is right in this family war that has now lasted for four years?

My boyfriend and I got into a petty argument. I confided in my cousin and she told her mother about it, who then told my mother.  I'm 25 years old with an accounting career and also in school to be a registered nurse, so I've been living with my mom to stack my money but I really want my own place because she allows so many people to invade our privacy and space by letting them move in, there are two ppl in our home right now. However, my boyfriend wants me to move in so I've been here for almost a month. I'm still stacking my money here. He isn't asking me to help him with rent or anything. I have solace and peace here, there's no one constantly running in and out or in my personal business! Anyway, after she found out about the argument my phone died, it's always dead she called the police to his house and drove 45 minutes out of her way for no reason! The police came to the door at 4am to do a welfare check, they checked us both for signs of physical abuse and found NOTHING!  She told me to pack my things and come home immediately but I'm not a child! I honestly feel like she's just upset I haven't been home. I'm her only child and she needs to know that I need my own space and that I'm grown!

I don't want my stepsister to see her mom this weekend because she is just going to steal her away from me and she will never see me again I know I am really jealous of her mom ok. I just want to stop her from seeing her mom. Her mom is like the only mother figure in her life she also has a step dad too. My stepsister is going to see her mom tomorrow and I want to prevent that from happening how do I do this? i resent my father just because i was raised by single mum near southampton, uk while he lived his life to the fullest in London. 

My mother passed away 2 weeks ago, and as harsh as it is to say--I haven't shed a single tear because this woman was like a hurricane: she served no purpose other than to destroy. Aside from beating all 3 of us siblings (and our dogs!) over literally anything, starving us as punishment, forcing my teenage brother to sleep out in the cold whenever she was annoyed with him, and destroying prized possessions of ours to be vindictive, she took a great pleasure out of making anyone around her unhappy or angry.  Pointless arguing, slandering people, and filing idiotic lawsuits were some of her favorite hobbies--she's fought with just about everyone under the sun to a point where her own family refused to have anything to do with her. It was never uncommon to hear her screaming at someone on the phone, or see her speaking with a police officer about God knows what now.  All 3 of us moved out of the house before the age of 18 (my youngest sister being only 16) because living with her was simply intolerable. Upon hearing her death, I sat up the entire night and literally could not think of one fond memory I had of that woman--all I could remember are the beatings, taunts and putdowns, the nonstop arguments...I almost feel like her death has been a miracle, helping me to bring closure to these hateful memories and finally focus on healing and moving on. Is it wrong to feel relieved when someone as toxic as her passes away? I just can't feel ANY sympathy at all. None!

I'm thankful to my grandparents who have brought me up but now it seems that all they do is moan and complain. I'm fed up of hearing about their aches and pains, being expected to look after them and the whole house load, wait on them and their children and other grandchildren. After all I do and as little as any of their children or grandchildren do, they don't seem to recognise that at all. I'm fed up of being a career. Im fed up of the tv being loud and the house being boiling. Am I horrible?

I have tried to talk to him about it, but he doesn't talk to me. I think I might have done something to lose his trust. Sometimes in the midst of abuse, we will still have good moments where we play fight, but it's not like the same old days anymore. I plan on moving out to escape her hell. But when I ask him to come with me he says he has to stay. My mom pretends like she will die if we leave her. Now that I am old enough to her past her wicked lifestyle her focus has come to my little brother. Something I had never come to see happen. Now I want to move out, but I still have my little brother who doesn't want to come with me. I really don't want to leave him because he is quite passive. I have a hot head. He doesn't try to run away when she hits him like I do. He doesn't threaten to call the cops on her. He doesn't protect himself. He lets her hit him. I have pulled him away from our mom hitting him, but he told me to go away and goes back to our mom. It makes me so angry sometimes. I feel like I can't help him at all. And it feels so horrible and bad I can't help him I have proof she hits him. I have a video of her hitting him. But I'm afraid to take her to court or call the police on her.

So I was in math class and she was teaching and I raised my hand because I needed help because I didn't understand so she came up to me and just randomly pulled my hair SO HARD where hair came out and it hurt so much and she said she likes my hair and then just helped me but I'm uncomfortable because ever since then she always just pulls my hair

For a long time, I have had these random twitches. At first they were just with my arms, but later they turned into full body twitches (e.i. I was drinking hot chocolate in the morning and my whole body twitched, making my hot chocolate spill all over the kitchen floor and myself.) If only really occurs if I'm tired or didn't have a good night's rest. My brother, who has epilepsy, says that he had those as well and sleep was and still is his main trigger. He tells me I need to go to a Neurologist, but my parents don't believe me when I tell them about my twitches. They think that I'm making a big deal out of nothing and that they haven't seen it before (which once I twitched and fell on my dad's car, but he thinks I just tripped.) my mom this that it's just that my muscles are exerted and tight. How can I persuade my parents to bring me to a doctor, just to make sure things are okay? And while we're at it, does anyone know what these twitches are?

So today we celebrated Christmas as it was more convenient for everyone. Prior to today, I was texting my older sister (31) a lot. I would send her friendly messages asking her how's she doing and I'd send her pictures of things she likes To be nice. So today she was really cold and distant towards me. She would try to avoid eye contact and seemed to not want to be around me. Her husband and her baby son were at our house too with her.  So when we said our goodbyes, my sister leaned in to kiss me which she never does. I was expecting a hug from her. She went in for a kiss and pulled back before I had a chance to consider kissing her. I was like "wait what? Why did she try to kiss me?"I wanted to hug her that's all.  I know she was tired at the time, but I don't think she could have mistaken me for someone else, I was the only male in the room at the time. She knows my voice too. 

Ah, it just like, pisses me off. I live in a pretty upper income area and go to an upper income school full of diverse families and mainly higher/upper middle class students. Most guys have grown to their maximum genetic potential, are good looking, and well built. I'm short and skinny, and have an unattractive face. I stand out disgustingly. And a huge fault of this is my stupid parents. My dad is short as hell, which is ok, but If he wasn't a dumbass, he would have got me into body building when I was younger, or sports, so I could atleast have a strong body. My parents let me play video games and watch cartoons every day until I realized for myself how much of a loser I am and at 16 started working out. I also rarely ate healthy food. My parents thought that because I was skinny they would feed me a bunch of unhealthy sh** like cake, cookies, and brownies, and because of that I now am skinny but have a slight fat belly and overall weak body which I'm trying to correct in the gym. Their ******* **** skills in raising children pisses me off. How can I move forward from it? Well no, it is kind of their fault because my height potential could have been maximized with a good diet/exercise program. I'm 17 and 5'8", and my doctor told me that I could have been 5'10" or 5'11" had I eaten correctly and exercised growing up - things my parents failed to inform me of like pieces of ****. 

I only have a sister and i'm a female heterosexual. I think she's pretty but, like, I always wondered if people who have siblings of the opposite sex are able to see their beauty or are blinded by it because they cannot see them as a potential mate. You know in the movies when the best friend tells her "your brother is so hot" and the sister is like "gross" can we truly see beauty and attractiveness in our siblings?

I am a gay man and guys tend to bully me or just hate me so is it possible to get a female roommate?

My dad pressures me and my brother to be the most perfect people possibly, for example if we left a water bottle out and couldn't find out who's it was because let's be honest it's a family of five anyone could've left it there and instead of just telling me to throw it out and it's over with he'll yell at me for a half hour to the point where he tells us we have him on the verge of leaving the house. It pisses me off because he calls my brother that is kind of special needs for drinking a soda sometimes even calling him stupid retarded not knowing what he's been through while he left for half a decade expecting me to be perfect and the smartest kid often comparing us to rich kids saying that they don't **** up and talk back as if he lived with them. I remember when it was just my mom he tells us that we used to suffer without him and honestly we did but I never had to deal with anger and depression so much in my life. If I get anything less then a C in school instead of resolving it peacefully he wants to yell at me while I'm over here trying my best in a honors class for ***** sake I'm barely a freshman can you at least support me? Sorry for making you read all that I just wanted to express my self and see what you guys think about my current life situation.

So im 16 and i have 2 dads... One is 38 and the other is 40. And i dont like them anymore, i used to love them but i dont anymore. I told my female friend about this and she told me i was being a bad son and if i dont like them anymore and want to move out then i should give back all the money they spent on me,give all the clothes they bought me and stuff like that...
