He said he was flattered, but not looking for a relationship right now. I was fine with that. But I don't know if he really means that, or he's just saying it to be nice. So after I told him, our friendship was normal for awhile. Teased/mocked me like he always has. Had our normal convos and laughing a lot. But recently, he's been acting weird. We don't talk as much, and I often catch him staring at me. There will be times I'll look back at him and we hold eye contact for like 3 seconds, until I look away because I get nervous. He still teases me from time to time and he's still nice. But he's starting to say a lot of dumb things. He was teasing me and I told my friend behind me "This is what he always does, he always bothers me." Then he had the nerve to say "We were friends last year, now she wants nothing to do with me." I really could not believe he said that. But again, we don't talk a lot as much. If we do, he says something really dumb or acts like it. I feel like my friendship is ruined... |

He asked me to go on a date at the end of October (I agreed not really having much interest). The date went really well and from there we saw each other 1-2 times per week for a month. Both of us recently got out of messy relationships so we agreed not to put pressure on what we were doing and take it slow however, this guy was very persistent with me in planning dates and would say things to me as if he wanted it to work out long term down the line (he got me in my feels when I wasn't trying to be). Then all the sudden he freaked out and said he wasn't ready for the emotional investment but is frustrated because "I'm so great" I gave him some space after that because I'm not sure where that left things but then he initiated communication again Now we don't talk like we used to (aka texting everyday) and we haven't seen each other in a few weeks but he responds to everything I post on social media.. why is he responding to all my stories? Back when we first started we agreed that we can stop our fling only if we let each other know that we were ready to see other people. But the problem was that our fling lasted for 7 months, so of course feelings are going to arise, and yeah I was falling for him. However recently he was acting very distant towards me and my fear of him wanting to quit our fling came true happening just today. He even said that I'm free to see other people. However, he said he still wants to remain close friends, still go on the trip we been planning weeks ago and go to dinner this Friday night, just do all of what we were always doing, just without us having sexual relations. Addiction, mental illness, you name it. He almost dropped out of college but my support helped him through everything and we graduated together. He is a normal being now and has left that life. I was a huge part in the process. It was always my goal to help him be the person he truly is. I'll be moving to Europe in February for a year. His plan is long distance but I don't see myself being in one. I want to figure myself out and live life without a relationship of any sort. I'm afraid he will go back to his old habits. I know this decision will break him cuz God, this guy loves me more than anyone else. I know I'll never find someone like him but our goals and dreams are different and we've grown to be different individuals. Long story short...a guy slept over her house the night we broke up but nothing happened....2 days after I came back into her life they were supposed to hang out but he ended up not coming over, another time they had sex, and she invited him out to a bar with her and her friends in which "nothing happened" She's treated me great since then, but im finding it hard to trust her. I know she's still friends with him on FB, Snapchat, and has his number in her phone. She does treat me with care and shows affection, but doesn't go above and beyond like i do. What do I do? |

So my co worker constantly try's to help me out more than any other co worker. He also constantly tells me i'm doing a good job. One time he even went on record to say "I don't think (my real name) gets enough appreciation around here." Most recently he asked how old I was which I kindly replied 16. He then said "i'm only 17." I wouldn't have thought much of that last question if it wasn't for that response, plus I used to have crush on him. So like the title ask, do you think he likes me or simply just admires me as a co worker/friend. |

My brother has a best friend who is also 18 years old, who I like. I am debating whether or not I should tell my brother that I like his friend. My brother and I both know this friend from church. My older brother and I are really close and tell each other a lot, however, I've never told him anything like this. Recently my brother has been talking to me A LOT about the girl that he likes who is also a friend of mine, which I have absolutely no problem with and I actually enjoy our talks. I guess the one main thing holding me back is what he thinks about me, a 15 year old, liking his 18 year old friend. I'm not sure what he'd think about the age difference, but then again he's said himself before that a person can't control how they feel about someone so I'm not sure. |
