Once he broke up with his girlfriend, he started gradually getting more and more touchy and we would snapchat and hang more than usual. I always saw it as a friendship but he started to hint that he likes me? I'm not sure if I'm reading it wrong though. One time we were out and he told a story about how his friend found out he liked someone but I assumed that he was talking about his ex so I didn't ask who but afterward I realized he never specified that and said "like" instead of "liked". We were also at a drive-through and out of the blue he asked me if I had a boyfriend in which I answered no and he went on to ask "what about ____" who he saw on my bestfriends list on snapchat. We've fallen asleep on facetime as well. The thing is though, my friend asked him out a couple of weeks ago and he said no because he thought it was too soon after his relationship to start dating again. I'm just wondering if he likes me because I am so bad at telling but I'm not sure if I would even date him or just keep it at friends if he did so ya. |

We are in a dark stage right now and live depressing life due to our complications and issues regarding my bestie. I have known my bestie for a little over 2 years and work with her everyday of the week. She has been there for me when 2 important people in my live passed away this summer.. Her and I have developed slight crush feelings for each other but she talks to her ex bfs still and I'm still committed to my girlfriend.. The problem is that they both dont get along or like each other.. All of my financial help, accounts and emotional help and support is connected with my girlfriend. I was asked the question who am I picking since I cant love both and am stuck.. If I lose one of them, I will lose the other eventually but I can't have both of them for much longer.. always we all have been depressed or suicidal before and even after going through months of therapy, I have not healed properly.. I have seen efforts to improve some areas of communication that has kept me with him. However, as long as we've been together, there has been a major issue between us. I work as a professional Mandarin and Spanish interpreter. Part of what drew me to my SO is the fact that his native language is Spanish, and he told me we could develop a bilingual relationship, yet refuses to speak Spanish to me. He tells me he's excited to do that with me and understands my frustration and will demonstrate that he takes my concerns seriously, as I've explained that I don't find it fair that we've spoken English nonstop for 1.5 years and he's now fluent, while every time I try to speak Spanish to him he responds in English and tells me "lets do this tomorrow' or "lets do this next week." Recently I finally got upset again about it as he promised me for 3 weeks straight he'd make an effort, and he didn't. At that point he told me that its my fault he didn't make an effort because its my job to start conversations in Spanish if I want to speak it. That's a blatant lie, because i've tried to many times, he responds as i stated above. Smells of gaslighting to me. I'm preparing to break up with him tonight over it, but was curious if other people would find this as serious as me. this isn't the first time he's said he'd do something and not followed through, and its difficult to make progress with him. |

After doing it for several yrs, I just come to realize that , it just produced many low quality matches. I've never fell for anyone either due to lack of physical attraction or mental attraction. There just a lack of variety to online dating too so its just a waste of time. I have been thinking about paying to attend a speed dating event but I have always had low self esteem. I am extremely self conscious so rejection takes an unbelievable toll on my already low self esteem. Most people would call me average looking. Some call me cute or pretty. I don't think im straight up ugly but I'm just not very attractive. Growing up, I was always judged off my appearance so I've always been self conscious. I am also slightly overweight but not to the extent where anyone has ever been extremely turned off by it. I'm also pretty shy so its almost impossible that I would ever approach a guy. I'm afraid that the constant rejection will just scare me off to never meeting anyone new afterwards. But I take great pride in myself as a person. I always seem to be attracted to guys at work. I've been very interested in my boss, my co workers, guys from other departments. People at work tend to be decently attractive, sane, no issues. But obviously I can't date people at work, theres just too much inconvenience associated with it. Anyone have any other ideas on how I can meet new people? Please don't say bars or train station because I'm a bit shy and really afraid of rejection so its impossible for me to approach strangers. |

We don't live close to each other about 2 hours away in fact. We are talking much more about future plans and living together seems to be the next step. Well that is great and all but I don't know if she should move to my area or I should move. Both of us have stable jobs. Hers is an independent insurance agent I am the manager at a farm/ranch. My problem is I don't have a cheap place to live in the rural area I'm in. I actually live on my grandparent's place at the hired hand house. I've been told I have to move out once I'm in a serious relationship again. She has two other issues where I live. Her clientele is not in the area and it's hard to find more clients in my area. Also we would be far away from her family which is a huge support for her. Myself my biggest issue is finding a job that I love as much as this one with as good of pay and benefits. My job makes everything possible for me. I don't think I'll ever get a good job day job like this making 2,300 per month with full paid for benefits without a degree which I don't have. We love each other a lot but it is a huge obstacle that I'm afraid I don't think either of us can force do. I'm not sure what to do here. I need some advice as to what I should do. And how would choose what to do. It's not totally up to me but I don't know what to do. |

Ever since this past semester she met this black girl in class and became friends and ever since they started hanging she randomly brings up black couples and the topic of blacks being pro-black. And it seems like at any time she can slide the subject of black men's genitalia into the conversation she does it. We saw a YouTube video about the Kardashian family using black men to expand their market value by having mixed children and etc. It's beside the point but my girlfriend went on to talk about how the Kardashians are culture vultures who "just want that long black d*ck, like all other white women"...if I go on to say that's awkward or weird she'll passionately say "why? | Posted: 11 Dec 2019 04:54 PM PST So, like the idiot i am, I had unprotected sex almost 2 weeks ago with a guy i met two years ago. When we first met I wanted to get to know him and see what happens. It never got anywhere .. he would ghost me or stand me up or was really closed off to himself (Cancer Sign 🦀). I moved on and focused on me. He messaged me (on social media), end up exchanging numbers and he met up (Dec. 2nd), so i can talk cause i have A lot going on. Last time I've seen him was May. He's the only guy I've been with over the last couple years. (That's not on purpose. I've tried having convos with people on dating sites and it's just horrible). "Why are you talking to this guy? Or why are you giving him a chance?", you ask. I don't have any friends (grown apart, disagreements, always taken advantage of). I'm alone and an introvert. I always enjoyed talking to him cause he always saw a better outlook on life than i had (i have low self esteem) and he would always tell me to make time for myself (I help out my immediate family/neighbor's and i ALWAYS put myself last or forget about myself. Which is an issue of mine I care too much about people and always help out and barely get anything in return. Back to my original question. Should i wait until Monday to get tested (pregnancy & STD testing) or should i wait to see if i get my period next week? Also, i have pain in my ovaries, that's usually a sign my period is coming. But, I'm still worried. I'm 31, btw. I'm smart, but make dumb decisions. |

He has always been the type to abide by rules whereas I'm rebellious. I contacted him on messenger the other night spilling my heart and soul out to him, assuring him that it'll stay between him and I and the work doesn't have to find out. He understandably blocked me (as he is, (not to be rude)but he is a brown noser) I went on my other account and sent him this message immediately after he blocked me. Of course I don't mean it, he will always be in my heart and I still love him. I know he loves me, he mouthed "I'm so sorry" when I passed him in the car. Does the message sound rude?
