We dated for 1.5 years and then broke up because he wanted to focus on his career, and claimed to lose feelings. it wasnt a mutual breakup, we ended on bad terms because he didnt provide closure. one year later, this year in feburary, he offered closure saying he never in fact lost feelings, rather, he was going through a major turning point in his life and had to give up the relationship because he couldnt handle it and wanted to focus on his career. he said he wanted to start fresh as friends and if something came out of the friendship later on he wouldnt mind but right now it is the right time. throughout this past year, both have initiated contact as friends but personally its hard for me to be friends knowing I have feelings for someone and he does too . For the past two months, he intitated contact twice and it seemed like he had moved past the awkardness. In fact he actually led the conversation and actually wanted to talk to me. I felt happy but then I didnt hear from him for a month. I am away for school and he intitated this contact while I was in school and now that I came back home, after meeting up with him last night ( we have the same friends group btw, so thats how we pretty meet often throughout the year ) I feel like I noticed the reluctance again, I dont what to do now. They even include animals assuming human characteristics of that man-woman nonsense. I saw Spiderman far from home in theaters. Be careful of what gets brainwashed into your subconscious from this. Watch out for hole guys. The romance angle (romance(tm) is too much a term for this) is handled charmingly/cutesy but all of this is like aw man here we go with this stuff. I know this movie is showing guidance to males how to deal with females. All imagination shown in this movie, creativity is the male ability, while females are replication of humans (aka babies) so both goals are contrasts with each other and know if you stick it in their hole your creativity goes swoosh disintegrates, you fall inline with patriarchy which is uncompromising. She wanted to be just friends, but I couldn't do it. I could never be just friends with her, and pretend not to still want to be with her, so when she called it quits, I understood, but I also knew it was best for me to walk away, and so I did and wished her well. Been doing my very best to take it like a man, not be a teary-eyed mess, but truth is I've been on the verge of it all day, but am fighting it, cuz as men we're not supposed to show sadness, as its weakness. Even though I did her wrong, and I deserve her dumping me and do not argue that, is it natural for me to feel what I do? I did everything I knew to fix the situation, but it wasn't enough. And she constantly dug her heels into me over what I did, which I don't blame her for. She had a right to grind her heels into me and constantly throw what I did in my face. Everything I tried to do right to fix it, she would never acknowledge my efforts, and why should she? I deserved it. She even told me after what I did, when I expressed my grief and sadness over it, now hurt I was to not have her in my life, she said my feelings didn't matter. And that I deserve to be reminded and berated for my actions. |

We met up in person and basically made out in his car but didn't really fool around or hook up. Nothing really took off after that, I kind of let things fade and I had lost interest. I started a new job recently at a nearby hospital and have been enjoying it for the last month or so. Out of the blue, this guy reaches out to me and tells me that he regretted not pursuing me more, was interested in no strings attached and we had chemistry. I'm trying to focus on myself so I turned him down nicely. Later that week, I saw him outside of the operating room. I've seen him like FOUR times now and it always throws me off. I'm attracted to him, but I don't know how compatible we would be. Should I just continue to ignore it or should I make a move? If something is going to happen I feel like it's on me because I had turned him do when he reached out. Thoughts? |
| Posted: 22 Dec 2019 04:31 PM PST This girl and I both work in a retail store. I work up front and she works in the back. She has showed some signs that she might like me, but I am not 100% sure. She does this one thing that is really werid. So if im working at self checkout she will walk pass with her head turned away from me. She will be looking the opposite direction away from me.Then as soon as she has walked pass. She will turn head around and look directly at me. |

We started off by sexting then we started talking and we realised we have a lot in common, we like the same superheroes, similar shows, movies and video games. He's really nice and considerate, he is hilarious and he doesn't get annoyed when I talk about animals, he makes sure to assure me that he enjoys talking to me(outside of sexting). About a week ago, I started noticing him using "we" a lot more. We were talking about seals, one thing let to another and he asked me to go to the zoo (he's not the biggest fan of animals) with him so i told him I am boycotting all zoo's but I would go with him and boycott zoo's later, then he said "Then we'll go to a zoo and boycott some time later." He also calls me his baby and calls me just to hear about my day Do you think he means "we" like as friends or "we" as people that are together as more than friends? Please excuse my naivety. I've been homeschooled since I was 13 and I don't go out much. |
| Posted: 22 Dec 2019 04:28 PM PST We both live in different countries and initially she said no obviously I know she wasn't ready so I gave her time, not that now I'm forcing her to do anything even now whatever she is happy with I'm happy with but it sure has given me a reason to doubt whether she is real or not. One thing I am naturally terrible at - and what I am dwelling on is how we said 'goodbye' at the end. The last time I met this friend (about a year ago) she said 'see you later' to me on parting. Today, we were on the tube and talking right to the very end before she had to get off at her stop. As the train pulled in to her stop, I initiated a cuddle with her (she initiated one with me when we met). She said something along the lines of it was good to have met and good luck with my masters and dissertation (which I am currently working on) and wished me a good Christmas. The words that ring in my ears though were her final words to me 'see you, bye'. She then left the tube very quickly and didn't stay on the platform to wave as the train left with me on it. Is 'see you, bye' a suggestion that she doesn't want to see me again? Last year when we parted she said 'see you later' to me. This meant that I had the confidence to reach out and message her and arrange today because she said that. Ending today on 'See you, bye' means that I will be much less likely to be as confident in the future to reach out to her again. We spent six hours together today and I really enjoyed it. Do you think that ending it in this way has shut the door on me contacting her again (maybe in a year or so) to arrange another catch up? |
