My older brothers only had to have babysitters until they were 12. So not fair.

if yes, why is it ok for you to swear and yell at them, but if they do it, they get in trouble seems like a double standard to me or at the very least, abuse of power

My boyfriend and I live with his co-worker. The roommate has always seemed selfish in my opinion- frequently uses our things without asking, asks my bf for constant favors including money and other garbage. I keep my distance from him. Anyway, so his dog got really sick and needs to be given pills 3 times a day at specific times. One day I come home and he tells me that this is the schedule I need to follow and sets the pills down on the counter. He never asked me he pretty much expected it. I had major surgery last week and could barely move- he still expected that I get out of bed to give his dog pills. I said no that I would not do it because I need to focus on my recovery. Ever since then the living situation has been extremely hostile. My bf told me that he is saying I am selfish and a bad person. I was telling my mom about this and she sided with the roommate. I can't even believe this- am I in the wrong here?? I think it is inconsiderate to just demand I do this for him. The roommate doesn't even ask me how my surgery went HE is selfish. Then my bf texted me tonight and asked me to give the dog the pills. Why can't the roommate talk to me himself? I want to tell him off and demand payment if he expect me to do this every night. Thoughts? 

So me and my husband have a 3 year old boy and sometimes when he have nightmares he comes to sleep with us and everytime he asks my husband/his dad to cuddle him, to grab him and sleep really close. When i try to cuddle him he dont wants me too and only wants to cuddle with his dad. Sometimes he asks his dad to put his leg above him and to cuddle like that. Why does our kid does this? Why he only wants to cuddle his dad/my husband?
