Posted: 25 Dec 2019 11:34 PM PST I'm a widow with no children and my husband's side of the family often forgets me. I think my nephew sent me a save the date card only because I wrote him a letter of congratulations on his engagement. Should I bother going where I'm not really wanted? |
Question: What do you think about not having a prenuptial agreement? Posted: 25 Dec 2019 06:13 PM PST He has considerably more than me and he doesn't want a prenup. I know it's because he Loves me and he expects this to last a lifetime. I hope so because I Love him too and I can't imagine ever finding someone more perfect for us. I hope everything goes well and I realize that I seem stricken but this is a dream about to come true. |
Question: Are grooms who want a groom's cake gay? Posted: 25 Dec 2019 05:37 PM PST I've been to a lot of weddings and the only grooms who had a groom's cake turned out to be gay. Has anyone else noticed if this is true? It turns out the groom's cake is for his boyfriend and the wedding cake is for his wife. |
Question: Do the bride and groom stay at the reception until the last person leaves? Posted: 25 Dec 2019 05:29 PM PST At my Aunt's wedding she and her groom stayed until everyone else left. Is this the norm? Will I have to pay vendors balance that night After they finish? |
Question: Do couples ever consummate the marriage the same day of the wedding? Posted: 25 Dec 2019 05:19 PM PST I was told we will be so busy it won't happen until sometime the next day. He wants to go to mass early the morning of the wedding and the morning after. Also, there's the brunch with the parents that morning. We may have four hours to consummate but he already implied he wants to wait until after Mass. So I was thinking after two but we will have to travel for the honeymoon so it may be over twenty four hours after the ceremony. |
Question: Are mint Jubilee's still served at weddings? Posted: 25 Dec 2019 05:06 PM PST I'm from the South and it was common a long time ago but I noticed that people have signature drinks now. Should I serve a special cocktail? Or leave it up to the guests discretions. |
Question: What are some rules or etiquette for much older brides? Posted: 25 Dec 2019 04:59 PM PST Like I heard there's not supposed to be a flower girl or bridesmaids. I hope that one isn't true. I also heard it's a black tie affair. Have you heard anything or do you have advice for an older bride? |
