I was talking to a guy tonight. He asked if his friend has tried to hang out with me again lately. I said no. He said wouldn't his friend still talk to me if he really cared about me. He knows his friend has tried to hang out with me in the past. He said he appreciated me being there for him and it really means a lot to him. Does it sound like he is jealous of his friend trying to hang out with me? His friend won't even talk to me now. Do you think he said something to his friend about me? Does it sound like he likes me as just a friend or as more saying me being there for him means a lot to him?

I have acquaintances to talk to but no close friend that calls me up or checks up on me or anything vice versa. It kind of bothers me but is that normal? How can people can build close bonds? It's something I'd like to work on cause I have a lot of people I can text or but not many that I can call close or true friends. 

Hi, I've never used online forums before but I thought I'd give it a try, since I never seem to be able to talk to people in my life. I'm 15 and I come from a good family with loving parents and a big sister that has protected me. We have a pretty home in a nice neighborhood and my sister and I go to a safe private school. So I don't understand, why can't I be happy? I'm timid and anxious by nature, but surely not to such an extent that I can't be happy with everything I have.. I struggle constantly with thinking I'm not good enough or I only make things harder for everyone around me. That I'm useless and my existence all together is nothing but a burden to the people I love. I don't want to hurt anyone.. but I cry so much and get in the way! I used to have a big group of friends at school, but over the years a lot of them moved away and one ditched us. Now about this girl that ditched us... she made it very clear she didn't want me around once because all her new friends were there, but I didn't have a choice since it was an assigned group project so I spent the who class feeling unwanted. I came home upset that day and protective big sis confronted this girl at school to the point of tears—which after everything she kinda deserved it but—! her new crowd, which in such a small school is a bit majority, now probably hates me. But why do I care? I still have plenty of good friends who love me... why can't I just be happy with what I have?

So I just moved to a new school my senior year of high school. At my old school, I wouldn't say popular but I was known and had a decent amount of friends. I had this specific group of friends that I hung out with every single weekend and talked to everyday. However then I moved and they stopped talking to me and blocked me on everything. I have tried reaching out but nothing. After all that I tried my best to get over it but now I can't seem to talk to anyone at my new school and become extremely antisocial. It's December and I haven't made a single acquaintance. I have always been kinda shy but this is not normal. Can someone please help me I don't know what's happening?? 

I have one of my friends images in my camera roll and its nothing weird. Its just a selfie. He is ugly though and whenever I look at the picture, I smell this weird odor and I quickly swipe away from the photo. I deleted the photo so I wouldn't suffer any more but does anyone know why that happens? I only smell it when I look at the picture of him. Perhaps I'm morbidly disgusted by his appearances?

They said they wanted me to be raped because I deserve it so they had my sister rape me then laughed about it. Now they are giving me the silent treatment. I'm terrified and confused right now. I had to get away from them. Worried that they will do something else. I can't see them anymore. I have nowhere to go. I don't trust anywhere. I don't know what I should do. No one believes me. I'm of age so no one is really going to do anything about it.

I have this friend who is sometimes really nice to me and is there for me but other times he is a complete dick to me. Should I stay friends with him or should I cut off the friendship and stop talking to him.

my friend and i are both 16 and we are both sophomores in high school. we've been friends since our freshman year so we haven't been friends that long. but recently i've been noticing she hasn't been talking to me as much. she only talks to me during lunch but in gym she doesn't talk to me at ALL. she always talks to this other girl who she hasn't known as long as she's known me. like in gym we'll have nothing to talk about but once she's with that other girl she magically has millions of things to talk about and that leads to her not talking to me. this has been happening for about two weeks and i'm starting to think she's replacing me with that other girl. is she?

My son went to a sleepover and accidentally kicked a yard decoration while playing hide and go seek (a blow up santa). The mom contacted me, told me it was broken and told me I needed to buy a new one.  I will do it (it's not worth making enemies), but I'm a little put out.  I mean, the Santa was old to begin with and had it been her son that did that at our house, I wouldn't have said anything.  Like I said, I'll buy her a new Santa, but I don't know if I want my son to go to their house  or have them over anymore  It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth that she would call and demand a new one.  Am I wrong to feel this way?

25 years ago in high school I was a nerd who didn't try to make friends cause I was too ambitious, wanted to study and work hard cause I wanted to be very successful in life. After high school I got to the present stage where I'm a CEO, millionaire and am proud cause I have achieved 99% of my goals. But at high school reunion I met other class mates for the first time in 25 years and I suddenly get looked at like a celebrity and I've seen a large percentage of other people not go far in life. Now I'm suddenly popular in the sense that everyone wants to talk to me, says I'm hot and previously they tried to bully me or just ignored me. What should I take from this?

Friend was getting me weed. It was 90 bucks but he he added a few bucks just like 5 profit for him since he was setting it up and all. Is that fair? 

I heard some of the girls at school talk about their boyfriends being hung. I did not want to appear stupid and ask them what that meant so I asked the guys in my next class if they were hung. I was hoping they would tell me what that meant. They all said they were. Isn't that an amazing coincidence that they were all hung. How can that be explained? It must be common if all the guys in my class are this way. I still don't know what it means. Can someone tell me?

I went to a car show (GIIAS) last April in Jakarta Indo-nesia. So I visited the Suzuki booth. I'm not indonesian but I can speak bahasa pretty good. So I talked with one of the salesman there. then he said there is a "cashback" when you buy a car. So I sat down and talked to this native indonesian. Then I said I'm interested to buy this car. He said fine, let me write an order form. He asked several questions and then I asked about the payment. Suddenly he said "the price is $$$ plus insurance". I said insurance? why do I have to buy insurance from you? he said it is required. then I paid some booking fee and called the head suzuki office in Jakarta. I want to confirm that I need to buy an insurance from Suzuki. Then suddently I realized this salesman lied to me. Insurance is not required when you want to buy a car in Jakarta. then I called this salesman and he said "sorry we never discussed about insurance".... so basically he lied two things. the first one was during the car show and he lied that he ever said that...... what the worst attitude I ever seen in a person. I have no idea if Suzuki did anything to this guy. I reported his bad attitude to the head Suzuki in Indonesia. oh btw, I have received some rude treatment from indonesians, I dont judged a country from one person only but this place got "jerks" PS: not the salesman in my country.  They are polite and trustworthy.  

I am the only girl in my AP Calculus class. My classmates are all my friends and are great guys. We have a lot of home work so we sometimes gather at someone's house and do our homework together. This time it was my house. After we completed the homework, my mom served all the guys fresh homemade apple pie and ice cream. They loved it. We usually rotate whose house we go to for doing the homework. However the guys ask me if we could go to my house again for the homework. That is OK with me. I just thought they liked the pie and ice cream my mom made for them. Then one of the guys told me the real reason they wanted to come to my house. When mom served them pie and ice cream she wore her Daisy Dukes. Are all high school guys like this that they are horny for someone twice their age?

I decided to end the friendship with this person due to her extreme dangerous behavior and we don't have the same career path and now she doesn't seem to be doing anything with her life. She has recently quit her second job for no reason, she's not hanging out with any friends, she's lashing out at groups of people in rooms, she's not participating in club activities and she's a part of a club and not participating in it. She's signing up for a sport called squash. I know she has a mental illness but how come she's not wanting to be productive in her days. She's also having other people do her homework for her that's why she's passing all of her classes and she's not even trying. She's 24 years old and not seem to wanting to care for herself and get help. She's been telling everyone and even strangers how bad of a person I am. Do you know why she chooses to act this way?

I just met this guy and we've been hanging out. He's really sweet to me, takes care of me. Well, I introduced him to my girl best friend and the next day he keep insisting of picking her up, so we did and we had some drinks and instead of hanging out with me all night he insisted of bring my friend to his house too and drink.. he even asked me about it, after we left his place he said something to my best friend like "well u can text me directly.." my bestie obviously ignored him. Now I just feel like stop talking to him. When I ask told him that he is being too friend w/ my friend he would say well she's  very beautiful but don't mind how i act or what I said I don't wanna ruin and friendship or not have an opportunity with a new friend.. He also asked me about my besft friend personal life like how many kids does she have, her baby daddy, etc. What do I do?  Am I being paranoid? 

I am a Christian and I dismissed myself from someone who claimed to be my friend. However, he took advantage of me. He only wanted me to be there for him. I felt that I had to be strong and I felt I couldn't share what I was going through. He hated people I hung out with. And compared himself to others. Stating: "I will never do anything bad to you."  Am I wrong for dismissing this person?

I love my friend but I can't help but feel like she's never truly herself around me anymore and always trying to act a certain way. I feel like she makes things into a competition, especially when it comes to our friendship. How can I deal with this or how have you dealt with a competitive friend in the past?

So long story short: my roommates (five of them) are insane/immature/horrible human beings and I'm at my breaking point so I'm moving out. I am currently trying to find a subletter so I can leave. These girls said that I have to find someone that they approve of before I go lol despite her getting her own room so their interaction with her would be pretty minimal. So I found multiple girls that were interested and of course my roommates hated them and it was all because they were Asian. They specifically said that they want a white roommate. I'm not sure what to do. The landlord said that I have to find someone that they all approve of or I can't leave. Isn't it wrong that they are being overtly racist and turning down any potential roommate without even talking to them because they aren't white? This behavior is so typical of them and exactly why I'm leaving. Anyway, shouldn't my landlord be able to take a stance and just let me pick someone because these girls are being discriminatory? 

I was at work and during lunch we were all socializing and one of my co workers is this annoying awkward kid who makes everyone uncomfortable and never keeps quiet when he needs to.. today he was talking about how the summer olympics is the biggest sporting event in the world... and he wouldnt shut up about it so i decided to make a joke.. i said John you don't get to talk about the regular olympics! and everyone laughed.. but i felt kinda bad afterwards. but he left me no choice. what do u think?

I am currently in a terrible toxic situation with a roommate/friend. I first moved in with this friend over a year ago and she seemed great. Since then I have noticed that she is mentally unstable. She has quit almost 15 jobs in the past year and is currently unemployed(yes, 15). She becomes irate over almost everything in our apartment and has reacted to a perceived situations such as someone putting their raspberries on her shelf by accident,  by slamming doors so hard that the house shakes. She claims this is "ok because I used to do it and dcf said it wasn't violent and was ok." She shops five days a week and spends her weekends returning all of the items, including loading and unloading thousands of dollars worth of heavy furniture from ikea).  If I do not help her lift and assemble the furniture she buys and returns each week, she will scream in my face, imitate me, etc. She has also started college and asked for my help with her classes, only to demand that I take her classes for her, write her essays etc.  She will commonly instigate arguments by making comments to me about my physical appearance  or personality, and then during said arguments has thrown water, hit me in the face, etc. she has gone into my phone and read messages and is continuing to find ways to get into my phone to do this. I am so emotionally drained and tired of this living situation and feel that I have no way to escape this. Any advice? 

So - yeah. This new guy at my job has been working for 4 days now and he's definitely taken some interest in me.  He will, look at me often, wink, or just make weird expressions toward whatever is going on in the area. (I work in a hotel) so he's a bellmen. He will make time to come to my desk and bump me, brush up against me, mess me up when writing, or just listening to my coworkers convos. I can feel tension, like we're both into each other. We can stop looking at each other. Oh, and he will kick my leg under the desk or when someone is not Looking and or kick the back of my knee. Or just something! I finally took initiative and asked for his Snapchat. He looked excited and wrote his down said "Don't make fun of me, I made it when I was 13." I gave him my number quickly only the same paper... I think he saw it. Yeah? Anyways. He left before me - I got off late at work and He never added me back...or texted me. But yet, he still flirts with me at work like that hot moment never happen. Like it was out of the movie how we were acting. So ??? What is going on? Is he playing hard to get? Why tho? I put the ball in his court????
