My cousin is getting married. Both my parents, sister and I live separately. I have read it is proper wedding etiquette for each individual to receive separate invites. By no means is anyone traditional here. The invite came to my parents house with the envelope addressed Mr. & Mrs. Blank + Girls. (There was no inner envelope.) Now here is the confusion. My significant other and I have been together for almost 5 years. 4 of those 5 years we have lived together (We have agreed mutually marriage is not what we desire.) My cousin had the opportunity to meet him on one occasion as my cousin lives 6 hours away. The wedding is also 6 hours away. We were originally planning on attending together as I can not travel without him (personal mental health issues I suffer from but not everyone is aware of). I understand she is saving on postage here but did she just not think to write his name on the envelope? Should I respond to the RSVP including my S/O and see if she responds back or go to her and explain the full situation?

I'm the greeter for my supposedly "friend" wedding and she didn't invite me to the reception. She actually kept me in the dark about a lot of things. Like her bridal party for the most part. Even though I'm not a bridesmaid, I'm still apart of the wedding party. The reception is by invitation only. (They only have a month left before the wedding) When I asked her if I was invited, she lied and said yes. That me, my mom and my sister and her husband were invited. And still no invitation. I really hate the fact she lied when she could've just told the truth. That would've been so much better. I said I was gonna still great and be a woman of my word. Am I overreacting or what? And clearly this is not a real friend

What would you do?

This is not me (promise). My friend got engaged. I am really happy for her, however I think the ring is hideous! It is a heart shaped engagement ring. It is large and looks like a promises ring for 15 year olds. Just very tacky. How would you feel about having a ring like that? She asked what I thought about it, but I avoided the subject because I dont wanna lie to her.
