We are a Muslim family and this couple was a Christian family. This couple was lovely to us. We lived on a street that was quite racist and this couple were so nice. From the age of 2 this lovely couple started giving me and my sister gifts on Christmas and Easter. Sadly the woman's husband passed away when I was 10. The woman continued giving us gifts and when we were older we started giving her gifts back as a thank you. She would come over for chats in the garden. She would give us newspaper cut outs for jobs and always give me advice. Yesterday I found out she has passed away. I'm so upset she was in her 80's and very ill so I'm glad she doesn't have to be in pain anymore but the thought of never seeing her again, never speaking to her again, never giving her gifts again makes me so sad. I feel like a member of my own family has been lost. I don't know what to do |

Posted: 02 May 2017 05:06 PM PDT My 15 year old daughter started having belongings that I didn't buy for her and she doesn't have her own money either (maybe she has $5 dollars or so, but I doubt she could buy all that stuff with it!). These items just mysteriously show up, and she isn't the type of kid that would steal. I am beginning to worry and suspect that someone is mailing her all these items (bracelets, makeup, stuffed animals, sensory clay/putty toys that come in different colors and textures, etc ). Those are most of the things that she loves, and she used to beg me to buy her something every time we go to the mall. Now she won't even bother to do that. We began receiving packages, but it says someone else's name on it. It does not include an address or where it's from. At first, I assumed it was the renters' mail packages (we have a college age boy renting out a basement). I'm thinking it's possible that my daughter is going under a fake alias so I wouldn't recognize it. Here in Canada, we don't have certain stamps. Those mails include unfamiliar stamps that might be outside our country. I am monitoring her online use more closely and paying attention to whom her friends are. She has Asperger's and tries hard to fit in, but has many friends. I don't think any of her friends would mail her this stuff either. |

I desperately want to live but through a series of bad decisions and very bad luck I have no hope for the future. I used to be a gainfully employed engineer. I have never used drugs and drank only socially very rarely. I have no family or friends. I spent 2 years trying to develop a tech on my own, but failed. I am 54 and recruiters no one will touch somebody that old that hasn't worked in 2 years. So, I tried to find labor jobs but too old with the young competition. I have $250 left which is just enough for the equipment to peacefully exit with nitrogen gas asphyxiation. I have been outcast my entire life and a virgin. I have always been open minded, empathetic and always approached things with a good sense of humor. I see no way to move forward only down forever and that won't do me or anyone any good. So, it makes sense to leave. |

I tried to not start drama with this guy. Eventually, I got sick of his **** and talked **** to his face. He does not win any of the verbal arguments. Then, I just told him if he wants to pull more petty ****, he can just fight me. He got defensive and I asked him if he wanted to fight. He said, "no, I don t." Now instead of a fight clearing the air, he won t even look me in the eye and the house is awkward. The only time he ll say a word is when the third, cool roommate is around. He hasn t been doing any more petty **** since, but the house is awkward as **** now. My other roommate and I are staying at the place for the summer and will be starting a summer lease, while he is leaving for some camp job. However, he thinks he is going to stay an extra 2 weeks on the lease before his new job starts. How should I handle this situation to minimize the awkwardness and get this guy the **** out of here before I explode? |

It wasn't even unintentional, I obviously knew I was doing something wrong and now I feel so bad. I know some of the guys in it and they re nothing but trouble. Many of them get in fights and do drugs and have made drug dealing a big problem in the school. The school is aware of the "gang" but I don t believe they re aware of their extremities. All the guys in it play this sick game. They have sex with as many girls as they can throughout the year and try to be the guy who gets the most action. They even film it and have threesomes and a whole level of wild things. Even in college I met other girls in classes and in the dormitories, I reached out to make friends and I was still a loner. When I left college I started working, I tried to make friends with women I worked with, but again my efforts failed. I went to church in my 30s and started going to a class for people my age. I tried to be friends with women in that class but I failed. I'm not unattractive, but why have I had such a TERRIBLE time all my life trying to make friends. He said they drugged him a lot. He doesn't do drugs he doesn't like them. He knows not to talk to strangers either but he thought the guy in the car were lost and ask for directions. They shot him with a stun gun and grabbed him and put him in the car. He was also forced to have sex with one of the kidnappers sisters he got her pregnant 3 times they have kids together. His kids stay with him. Their mother is in jail they don't see her unless they want too they hardly ever do. He's 29. His kids are 15 , 12 and 11. His son 11 is the same age as him when he was taken he has two girls and one boy. He's trying really hard to protect his kids but he doesn't know anything about kids he was never really into girls when he was kidnapped he doesn't know anything about kids he had to learn everything from internet or tv. He's also very shy he said he didn't talk. He also eats all the time he's always hungry but they didn't let him eat much. At first he was allowed only one meal a day and it was fast foods. It started to change though when they started letting him eat meals with them. He thought he would starve to death. He regrets talking to the people in the car when they got out and took him. Posted: 02 May 2017 01:58 PM PDT I'm a male and I had a bestfriend Emily, we were friends for 4 years. we had an amazing friendship But in the end of February she thought I had lied to her about a past situation. so she came over to my house to talk about it, but she wasn't believing me so she just walked away and told me to never talk to her again, I calmly held her for maybe 40 seconds while trying to explain my side of the story. that night she message me and told me to leave her alone because I crossed the line when I didn't let her leave, and that apparently she was abused in her past. I sent her a few texts trying to apologize but she just block me. I felt really bad that I decided to send her two very long apology letters with some roses to her house... but the next day I had a cop comes to my house and told me that I need to leave this girl alone or I could get charged for harassment. So I left her alone and we haven't talked since FEBRUARY. She's honestly an amazing person who was by my side 7hrs in the hospital when I had neck surgery. And I also helped her with some money when she lost her job (just explaining how close we were). Could she find in her heart to ever forgive me and talk to me???? This I'm making me crazy!!!! |

I have done this assignment before and the person who I've asked to do this before had turned me down after she said yes. i gave everyone SPECIFIC instructions. When I asked her to do it with me she was excited about it but when I handed her the form for her dentist to sign, she said her dental insurance doesn't cover it, so she turned me down. Maybe she realized it was a pain in her **** to take the form to her dentist and have them fill it out, I don't know if it was an excuse she made up just to opt out or if it was real legit. The other person who I've asked to do this w/me before just didn't seem interested, even tho she said yes Ill do it, I think she felt obligated to do it, but it seems that it was pain in their ****,she had a bad attitude, even tho she said yes ill do it, she had little attitude throughout the whole process,so I'm thinking that I will not ask her again. We've basically done the same things our entire life and now that we're in college she is copying my major now to. Now we will be in some of the same classes and that prevents me from meeting new people. We have the same taste in clothes and everything else, so no one can ever tell us apart, even our friends and its hurtful. When I try to be independent but then she convinces me not to do something just because she doesn't want to or if I do something without her, I feel bad that's she's not there. Its a viscous cycle or me trying to be independent but then feeling bad that she isn't there with me even though she annoys the **** out of me. So what am I to do to redeem myself in the eyes of the group? Because I know that there were a few women in the group who were showing me some attention, but after reading that person's post, they are gonna say: "**** that guy!" First off, I've not posted anything in reply to that person's post. I've played it cool. Which I believe to be the right move, as once people see that that person's actions have gotten to you, they won't hesitate to exploit that. But what else can I do? We work together now, a job that person help me get, but once they bad mouthed me like that, I no longer felt I owed them an apology or any favors. What I did wasn't cool, admittedly. But what that person did, tarnishing my reputation like they did, that was downright cruel. Anyway, what can I do to "redeem myself in the eyes of the group, and in the eyes of any woman in said group? There is one women in particular that I like, and would like to explore things with, who has also shown some attraction to me. Shes not at school today (we're older high school girls) we were going to take her to talk to a counselor today but she never showed up and we haven't heard from her in around 20 hours, I don't know where she lives and shes not answering her phone... She has got a close friend called Maya. Them two are always going off together and have a bunch of inside jokes. Whenever its me and Diya alone, Maya would complain we always leave her out so I never get to talk to her alone. After Maya comes, things would get really awkward. In front of my face Maya would say, "Omg, Diya, we HAVE to be partners for drama as we are the best pair! I mean, we are TELEPATHIC!" I would stand awkwardly beside them, like a third wheel. Diva is the type of best friend that I put the most trust in. She is usually an easy person to confide in but I just don't feel that anymore. (btw the names aren't their real ones). Also, at lunch they just go off together without waiting for me and Maya says, "the canteen will get full." I can never talk to DIya alone because of Maya. But we recently haven't been close at all. I feel like we are avoiding each other as for partners, Ive been with every single person in our friendship group apart from Diya. Also, my two other friends have also been feeling they go off together all the time and said they have some kind of instant "connection", something that me and Diya have had. | Posted: 02 May 2017 08:07 AM PDT Im a 17 year old girl in 11th grade and im in love with my friend who's a girl too. Im not a lesbian but unfortunelty it has happenned to me and its killing me. Besides that im also jealous of how others love her too and want to be around her. When she's laughing and giggling with other students I die from jealousy. More than my affection towards her, these things are killing me lately and I just want to stop. Everyone compliments my beauty but when she does it makes my day the best and from that time I started to look in the mirror often to look good which my friends have realized. But today our teacher was talking about this guy called narcis, of how he fell in love with his own reflection and me and her were going back to our class and I saw a mirror so i started adjusting my head and she said by laughing that "you always look in the mirror like that guy who fell in love with his own........" and I started laughing and hitting her and told her how stupid she is but from the inside it killed me. I feel like not having any motivation to look in the mirror and adjust myself. I want to stop loving her. every song I listen to reminds me of her which makes me love her more. How do I get over her guys? please help me because Im not lesbian and I dont want to be as one *No insult towards anyone* but I just want to stop my affection towards her and my exams are near and I dont think with this situation I can concentrate. any advice please? |

She also didn't even acknowledge me when I ran into her at a party. Now, I'm not good with confrontation, and being theres only two weeks left in the semester I don't want to start anything. She's not in the room very much as it is, so should I just keep ignoring her and keep conversation with her very minimal? |

Posted: 02 May 2017 07:36 AM PDT My two friends I spend the most time with are probably the prettiest girls in our grade. I, unfortunately, am not. I am the smart blonde who a minuscule amount of people actually respect. My two friends, I will call them Lisa and Andrea, are both absolute brats when they re together. So much, that when I see this shoulder to shoulder walking, I know I shouldn t interfere because they will call me disrespectful for interrupting their conversations. I once lied to my mother saying Lisa apologized to me for some harsh things she said. When we get into arguments, like every girl does, I am required to be the one who apologizes. In fact, the time I just mentioned Lisa was the one attacking me, yet when I was upset at her, she became upset at me for some old problem and would ignore me until I apologized. I don t know what to do, sometimes they hint for me to act normal and to not be so organized. Sometimes Lisa tells me to send her the homework answers. (I apologize this for being long I just want to be as thorough as possible) Lisa and Andrea, physically abuse me when I upset them. I get kicked in the legs, back and arms, punched in the side, or shoved from the back. Lisa enjoys doing this because I don t do anything back and the boys always laugh. (Lisa is experienced in MMA and JiuJitsu). Its not that I don t have friends, but I always make my way back to these girls. What should I do about this? Thanks! |

I really want to move with my friend to another city which is 50km away from my home so I can finish 11th and 12th grade in another school since the one that prepares 11 and 12th graders in my city is pretty bad. We plan to ask our moms to rent a room in that city so we could live together. I'm finishing 9th grade right now so we will be 17yrs old, we don't have much time and we want to get prepared (cooking, cleaning) before we ask so our moms can be sure we will 'survive'. Also, I want to solve my main problem - money. My family is pretty poor so I really need job. Because of this, I'm planning to find a job on next summer. Does all of this sound realistic, is it possible? |

She manages to drag all my friends with her to the cafeteria every morning to get breakfast, and I'm just left here by myself every time. My friends don't mention anything to me before leaving, so I feel like they don't treat me fairly. I confronted them saying that before they leave they could just tell me that they were going, as I felt that would not be too much to ask. Out of my own insecurity, I always accuse him of putting her before me even though they don't interact unless it's at work. (we're all coworkers in our early 20s.) I got mad over something petty an dignored him the whole night at work. We always park together, and I go to look outside, and he had moved his car on the other side form me. We didn't say one word as we left the night as well. The next day after work, I wanted to talk about our problem, but I might have been harsh so he kinda closed in and got a little rude at first. He told me that he's not used to expressing his feelings and I'm the only friend of his that gets him like that. He said that he took his anger off on other people, and had an eerie feeling in his stomach and told me that he doesn't like when we're not on good terms. I actual like him more than friends, not sure if it's mutual. I just hope I didn't hurt him, because he's not sentimental and doesn't show his feelings often. |
