He acts like a tough guy around her, tells bs fake stories, but she seems impressed by him. I HAVE A FEELING shes attracted to him. All three of us have been inseparable best friends for about a year now, but everything is changing. It is a total coincidence that Dani's boyfriend Jake is bestfriends with Gina's boyfriend Rob. Since they're best friends and their boyfriends are both best friends, all they do is go out on double dates and they never want to do anything with me anymore. It is making me so so sad. Tonight, they are hanging out at Dani's house and I am alone in my room doing nothing :(. They said they feel uncomfortable with me there when their boyfriends are there, which I do understand, but its not like I say "EWW" whenever they do PDA. I dont make anything awkward at all. They said I could come to sleepover after Jake and Rob left, but they basically uninvited me and are letting their boyfriends sleepover instead. They never want to hang out with me anymore :(. We used to hang out friday, saturday, and sunday. Now I am LUCKY if they hangout with me on one day of the weekend, and if they do come they bring their bf with them. Whenever we do hang out, its in a large group with our other friends, and they always bring their boyfriends! Both couples have only been dating for a MONTH! And for this entire month I have hung out with them 2 or 3 times and they bring their boyfriends every single time. I am happy that they both found sweet and amazing guys. I've been in marching band my freshman year and it was alright... I hated the practices but loved the football games and trips! Yesterday, our concert band auditions were posted and I made 11th chair out of 25 flutes.. which is bad I think. After that I asked myself "Do I really still want to do band?" Now that I actually have time to think about it, I'm just truly not interested anymore. It's honestly tiring, boring and the band directors are somewhat jerks and I'm tired of their attitudes. (The only reason I've stayed is because most of my friends are in band and the trips are fun!) Now I've always wanted to do a sport, ever since I became a freshman, I've thought about track and volleyball but didn't have the guts to try out. But something tells me tennis is something that I'll actually enjoy. Tennis seems quite fun and somewhat easy. I'm not sure if my mom and sister will approve of it yet though, I've been keeping my grades up the best I can and I have A's, B's a C and a D. But this is something I really want. (I want a friend to try out with me but one's trying out for volleyball and one's trying out for track.. so I'm by myself.) So should I continue to do band or start convincing my parents on letting me try out for tennis.. for a new experience I guess? Thanks (; |

A few months ago she hated me and I've got to admit, things got better a million times faster than anyone thought they would. After what I said she wouldn't even look at me, her parents got the police to come round to mine and tell me I couldn't talk to her anymore, it was awful. Now she'll reply to me if I say something, doesn't mind hanging around me in a group, etc., and only about 5 months after she had the police round, which is great, but I'm also addicted to opiates, and unfortunately I don't have a good supply of them, just enough to get me addicted. So the blues keep a-rollin' all day long. My point is, when I get depressed, I only ever want her, even if I do have friends I can talk to, I just want to reach out to her and tell her how I feel. Whenever I feel bad all I can think about is her, and I want to change that or at least settle with being able to talk to other people. Help me please |

Some smile and fix their hair when walking by me. I was once walking home. 4-5 girls yelled at me from across the street "hey boy", before that they were talking and one said"look at that guy". A couple days ago, a very good looking girl walked by me smiling and looking at me, but all I did was look down and walk by like a moron. I never respond to them. Posted: 06 May 2017 10:54 AM PDT Because of her jealousy of me, and my socially awkwardness, the relationship between me and my friend is getting moldy and dying like expired cheese. Recently she's been envying my artistic skill, and complains about her life, and the fact that she cannot draw. She purposely puts me in awkward situations sometimes, too, such as drawing something while barely trying, asking me if its good, and then mocking me if I don't truthfully say its perfect. And she constantly would 'joke around' and randomly be suddenly rude to me. We're in middle school and we've been friends since kindergarten. I'm staying at her house for the day, and she gets annoyed like daily and it's just really awkward with me just here. She was upstairs doing homework, getting really really annoyed at her parents and yelling occasionally, and when she came down afterwards and saw me just on my laptop, she sneered/scowled and said, "I hope you had fun.". These moments come and pass, and we still share fun moments, but it seems as if its just kinda bitter. Maybe its puberty emotions... There's more of these moments, like her getting depressed or upset and me being just awkward and silent because I don't trust my social skills. I know that its partly my fault for not being a good listener, and being too awkward and timid, but its also kinda just her... halp pls, I don't want our friendship to break apart ;-; |

This friend of hers didn't have much discipline in her life, ended up getting pregnant young, married a man, and is now wanting a divorce because she cheated on him. The shocking thing out of all this is this friend of her is still living with her future ex husband and the guy she cheated on him with and is pregnant again. Does that make any sense? So my friend has loaned her money for so many years and given her so much of her time and in someways I feel like this girl uses her. My friend stays mostly for the kids. A huge fight broke out between her friend and her friend's sort of ex - husband and boyfriend. One of them ended up in the hospital and my friend came to visit her during that time. She convenience my friend she didn't want to deal with this anymore and wanted a better life for her child, so my friend said that if she wanted to go down south where her family lives (four states away) and settle down there, she would come with. Her friend has accepted and they plan to move in the fall. I won't lie, selfishly I'm hurt and angry on my own behalf. She is one of my closest friends, we know a lot of deep things about one another that we couldn't even share with family. I love her. And while she said I could always come to visit, I feel after a few months, we won't contact each other anymore. She'll have a new life, new friends. And not just that...I feel like she doesn't actually want to go. She says if her friend doesn't follow through or she ends up not liking it down there, she would return once her friend settled in, but she's risking so much and sacrificing so much for someone who wouldn't do the same. She's thinking more about her friend than herself. What can I say to her? I want to be supportive and I know she's already stressed about the whole thing, but I feel this is so wrong. |

| Question: Why do girls act like that on the street ? Posted: 06 May 2017 07:58 AM PDT I once walked on the street and 2 girls said "helllooo" to me in a slow, flirty voice. I've seen many girls smile at me when walking by, some fix their hair. Many girls glance/stare at me for some reason. I was once walking home. 4-5 girls yelled at me from across the street "hey boy", before that they were talking and one said"look at that guy" I have a lot more experiences like this. | Posted: 06 May 2017 07:35 AM PDT SO my "best friend" always tells me she wants to hang out somewhere, then when I actually go there and take all the time to get ready, she never comes. She doesn't even tell me she's not coming. That's why I stopped asking to hang out with her and hang out with other ppl instead. But yesterday she asked to come over to my house and I said yes. When the day arrives, she still hasn't. Then I go on her snapchat and see her with other ppl at her other friend's house. The fact that she hung out with them didn't bother me, but it was that she didn't tell me about it when she specifically asked to come over did. I'm so sick of her always ditching me without telling me then hanging out with other ppl. (Also at school she acts like I'm really clingy even though I hang out with a lot of other people besides her, and her other friends keep telling me to be independent. I admit, i used to be clingy at the beginning of the year cause i had no other friends, but now I have a lot of other friends and she still acts like I'm the most annoying person alive). Should I but her off? Is she a toxic friend or a fake friend? |

I started a full time job in my field right after graduating and then started working a side job weekdays and Saturdays. I came to see my friend for a few days out of state to decompress and I told my friends on a group chat. A specific friend of mine didn t see the message and he began calling me fake once he found out I was away. He even said "we re no longer friends." Mind you, this is at age 23. He s been like this before, very clingy and very jealous every time I m with someone else. I feel as though I m in a relationship without even knowing. I responded to his messages telling him to grow up and to get over it. He was very upset and let me go. Was I correct? |

I recently moved across the country 8 months ago and I have about one best friend that I talk to (she lives back home) but I remember even when I lived in the same state as her I never really wanted to hang out often. I am a super energetic, outgoing person. I can easily make friends and interact with people..I just don t ever want to go out. People ask me all the time to come over or go to the beach, etc. but I always make up excuses of why I can t go. I enjoy being alone and I almost never have the want to go out and party or go out with friends or anything. Is this bad? I guess I do have some people that I talk to but I wouldn t exactly consider them my friends, or if they are my friends we have probably only hung out once, IF that, because I just don t want to go hang out with people and such. To this day, 12th grade, she's still very important to me - I'd call her a best friend but that's corny. Anyways, in the 6th grade, she liked a boy but never told him, and now she's in an early college program with our school and I'm taking regular classes at our highschool. While here I've actually gotten to know that boy she used to like, and we've become very close. We even spend a lot of time together out of school bc we also have the same internship, along with 2 other girls. Problem is, my friend recently told me she STILL likes him after all these years. Now, I've dated before, and "talked" to boys before, but she hasn't. Shes the type who believes the first guy she dates, is who she'll be with forever, bc she's very "innocent" when it comes to things like this. So I feel like it'd be mean of me to just pursue this guy even though she likes him. But I also just know she's not going to say anything bc they haven't even interacted with eachother over the past 6 years! And she's kind of shy when it comes her feelings for him- to the point where she'll completely avoid him if she sees him, and then get all happy. I've had friends in the past who have had crushes on a guy I was interested in, and they'd gush about him to me. I am aiming towards the stereotypical type popular girls. However, most of them have no idea who I am! I don't know why. I am pretty (blond hair brown eyes, clear skin, heart shaped face, good natural makeup, nice, trendy clothes, skinny but toned), confident, sassy yet nice enough to be liked, funny in a sarcastic way, natural leader, outgoing, I can be mean when necessary, i have great insults and comebacks. But no one even notices me!! :( its not even like i'm shy or weird, I'm just like the popular girls but I'm not popular! What am i doing wrong and how can i fix it?? Also I don't want to hear about how I should just "be myself". I am asking about this because I want to embrace who I am, and honestly I am a stereotype. And btw I do focus on "my studies" I have all A's and I care about school, I just want a social life too. Right now I only have one real friend and I just want to be part of a group that understands me more, which happens to be the popular group. |
