Posted: 07 May 2017 03:47 PM PDT volunteer for an organization and have been part of one of their event committees for the past few years. The co-chairs quit earlier this year (one from the organization entirely, one from the particular committee) and nominated me to take over. The one who is still involved with the organization has seemed to take the attitude of "not my problem" on the unpleasant side of dealing with things (and rightfully so) but has also been going behind my back to choose the people she wants to have do things, working with a friend of hers "takeover" a portion of it while trying to keep me out of it, poke fun at the way I m doing things, etc. and it s driving me crazy. This being a volunteer organization, and so many people still seeing her as the "lead" (as she was for so many years) it would be difficult for me to straight-forward tell her to knock it off because I would lose a lot of support. No one there HAS to participate in the event. What do I do? |
Question: What does it mean when a guy invites you over? Posted: 07 May 2017 03:36 PM PDT So this guy I work with invited me over to drink with him even though he's a got a girlfriend. I joking said you drinking tonight and he was like yeah and that's he's off tomorrow and that he's got scotch whisky at home and I love whisky too so I was like I want some and he randomly said come over and I told him that he lived really far and then he asked me what my favorite whisky was I said jack daniels and he was I love jack Daniels w/ coke? and I said yeah and that it kinda effs me up and then mentioned that I should bring some to his bday party which he kinda invited me too. Anyway I don't know if I am going to go to his bday party cause of his girlfriend and also cause I really like him but yeah did it mean anything? |
Question: How to properly break off a new possible relationship? Posted: 07 May 2017 01:46 PM PDT This might sound over dramatic and it probably is but I'm not the best in these situations. I recently started talking to someone through tinder, I don't really use tinder a lot but it was a weekend night and my buds had it so I fired the app up. I matched with someone throughout the night and I've been talking to her for about 2 weeks now. I'm not looking for a serious relationship at the moment, I'm just trying to get my degree and have some fun here and there. From previous mistakes and experiences I've learned not to lead people on, and that's the last thing I want to do here. She messages me a lot, and I message back with equal enthusiasm. I made plans with her to meet up next week, after my finals but I'm getting cold feet. She lives about 30 miles away from campus, and a few hundred away from my home where I'll be staying in the summer. It's gotten to the point where I cant ghost her because that will be a douche bag move. My parents might come up and help me move my stuff out which will get me an excuse to get out of the plans. I would make sure to tell her that right away, but I don't want to her feelings at all. Sure, we're not in any serious thing, we haven't met in person yet but I've been talking to her for a few weeks and I want to end things properly without being a douche. Tldr Met girl thru tinder, been talking a few weeks made plans to meet up,don't want to anymore because of summer and distance but don't want to be a douche and cancel and ghost her. |

Question: Apparently it's my fault I was bullied? Posted: 07 May 2017 11:40 AM PDT Is this true? My mom told me that it's my fault I'm sad because of bullying and that I shouldn't have let it get to me so this is all my fault now-is this true or is it just my mom? |

Question: Why do people hang shoes on telephone lines? Posted: 07 May 2017 03:20 AM PDT (Same person posting about people knocking on doors, ringing doorbells and turning the knob and pushing on the doors) Anyway I see people in my neighborhood through a streamline of tennis shoes and other varieties on the telephone line. These shoes are really nice. But cannot understand why these people are throwing them on the telephone lines? Are they wet? |
Question: Why do people knock down mailboxes with a baseball bat? Posted: 07 May 2017 03:14 AM PDT In our neighborhood my sister said something about people going around and knocking down mailboxes with a baseball bat. We had ours knocked down once, other people in the neighborhood had their mailboxes laying down on the ground also where someone presumily knocked it down, What fun do people get out of doing this? I live in a house, low income neighborhood,( is the same guy that posted about people knocking on doors, ringing doorbells and turn handles and push on the door) |
Question: What does it mean if someone caresses you underneath your chin and why do they do it? Posted: 07 May 2017 01:19 AM PDT To me, it's a sign that a person is exerting power, domination and control over you. To me, it's like I'm somehow weaker than the person. It speaks vulnerability and I hate that. |
Question: The only thing that helps me not kill myself is my family and it s not working anymore? Posted: 06 May 2017 10:59 PM PDT The only thing that helps me not kill myself is the love for my family and friends, but lately those things aren t helping as much as they used too. I feel like my parents don t love me as much as they used to and my best friend has others that she can look to. At this point I m just a burden. Im always like a spot of negitivitey in my family and friends life. And my parents would be able to save so much more money without me and finally be able to get a house and pay for better presents to give to my siblings. My friend could finally stop worrying about how I m bringing down her popularity in school and can stop paying for my meals when I can t afford them. I don t know what to do now please help. |

Question: Mi novio me penetro sólo 1 vez, ¿hay riesgo de que quede embarazada? Posted: 06 May 2017 10:20 PM PDT Hola amig@s, espero me puedan ayudar. Doy 5 estrellitas a mejor respuesta, besos. |

Question: How do i cope with being led on?`? Posted: 06 May 2017 08:52 PM PDT we re very close friends and talk every single day. i m very much in love with her. she told me she loved me just last month. we flirt very often. she gets mad when i don t answer her. again, we flirt mutually a lot. she hasn t said she loved me since the month before, but that doesn t mean the flirting doesn t mean anything. she told me about this new guy she s talking to and how she s developing feelings for him. i called her out on what she s done and she doesn t fully get it. i know she s never really fully loved me. she did apologize, although it was sort of a BS apology i guess, but now i still have no idea what to do with myself. i don t want to stop talking to her because then i know i really don t have any chance at all. not talking to her will just make her mad at me and make her and that guy get closer. but talking to her now makes me sick i m so confused, please give me advice <3 how do i cope with being led on? |

Question: What to text a Crush I've never spoken to? Posted: 06 May 2017 08:27 PM PDT He's shy. I won't see him anymore so I want to text him. I'm not in class this semester. Should I say, "hey, what's up? Are u back in school?" Again we have never spoken but he does have feelings for me and knows who I am. |
Question: Does a typical boyfiend act this way? Posted: 06 May 2017 08:09 PM PDT our first year, we afrgued a lot. I mean he wouldn't talk to me when he was with his friends...even though I tried to socialize, they would speak in a different language. It was very awkward. It happened twice. His friend even asked if we were together. When I went to give him a kiss he took his hands and turned my head around....I just thought maybe he didn't like PDA. That's normal right? He put me down for 2 years. Calling me mental for being depressed and crazy. He also checks out girls in front of me. Is that normal? We haven't fought for a year. I can't tell if it's because I'm being passive.. |

Question: Can your whole hand fall off from frostbite? Posted: 06 May 2017 07:51 PM PDT I seen on this movie this man lost his whole hand from frostbite is this possible or fake |
Question: He looks at me from a distanxe? Posted: 06 May 2017 07:44 PM PDT There's a guy that works at this cafe I go to pretty often. He only works in the back room cutting up food/cooking and every time I go, he watches me from the window in the back. Whatever he's doing he just stops and stares at me and he'll make sure I know he's looking at me by standing by the door. It never bothers me but he just always does it lol |
Question: Is this morally right? Posted: 06 May 2017 06:33 PM PDT A guy is 30 something and married with two little girls. He constantly cheats on his wife and brags about it even saying he can give married women what their husbands can't. He stays out all night drinking and gambling and tells his wife he found a temp night time construction job. Wait, it gets worse... He has two dogs which are scared to death of him and run away when he enters the room. He kicks them and shoots them with a BB gun for fun. He bullies you with personally insulting jokes when others are around. You and him like the same girl. He wins then comes to you in private and says, "I ****** her and there's nothing you can do about it." Weeks later this girl comes to you crying and saying this guy is a jerk. So...(and this is the morally questionable part) you kick his *** in front of his friends. Not bad, just enough to teach him a lesson. You know, no words or lecturing would ever have any effect. But this did. Sometimes people don't learn how to live in a civil world or respect for others. Sometimes, sadly it does take force. They have to be confronted with a consequence they can't escape and this is better than some husband catching him in a bar. In this case it did seem to make him a better person in that he seems to respect other more now. People say, we should mind our own business, no matter how others act or what they say or how they treat others. Is whacking in a little right or wrong? |
Question: What would this person be called? Posted: 06 May 2017 05:57 PM PDT They believe that tough and scary gets someone respected. They don't give a lick about different personalities and lifestyles, If they just find you generally annoying in their presence they would either bully you, beat you up or try to start an all out physically fight with you, scheduled fight. They don't seem to be afraid of policemen. |
Question: My life is ruined because of my parents poor decisions? Posted: 06 May 2017 05:02 PM PDT So I'm 18 years old and I've been thinking, all my life I've been struggling because of my parents, I had an abusive mother when I was little which resulted in me being taken away from her, which resulted in me living with my father, one day he just decided to move across the country, from Ohio to Washington (just me and him) to so call "make our lives better" but really he has been struggling to keep a roof over our head and we've even been homeless a couple of times, this resulted in me getting behind in school and etc. I really don't know if it's my fault the way my life is the way it is or not, I'm really just an unfortunate soul just existing. My life is ****** because my parents have been irresponsible and they treat me like **** because of it. Am I a **** up or is it my parents fault? |

Question: Teacher and Vice Principal Affair?!? Posted: 05 May 2017 05:47 PM PDT So at school there was a huge scandal about a male vice principal having an affair with a female teacher. The teacher got suspended for the remainder of the school year and I believe that the vice principal got fired... or he also got suspended.. but I'm pretty sure he got fired. Anyway, the teacher was married and she had a kid with her husband. The vice principal was single, never married. Anyway, a lot of people were blaming him for the affair and saying that he deserved what he got and that the teacher's treatment was totally unfair and "poor teacher." Anyway, do you think it was fair that the vice principal might have gotten fired and the teacher only got suspended for like 2 weeks? In my opinion, I would have fired both, just to be equal. Besides, she also knew what she was doing, and she was married and he didn't force her to have an affair with him. What would you have done? And do you think the consequences for both of them were equal or unfair? Do you think that it was right for them to get reprimanded, or was it okay for them to have an affair, since it is their private life? Thanks :) |
