I know people and they are really friendly, but I'm not that close to them. I'm 14 in a great school and I'm doing great with grades and I have a wonderful family, but I don't have much of a social life. I used to be funny and outgoing, but lately I've been quiet and shy. Whenever I'm around people I never know what to say. I've only had 3 best friends, all which were great but they all ended up moving. I've never been to a friends house and I don't go out much since my parents are pretty strict. I really want to be able to have people that support me besides my family. |

EVER." Essentially, i got quite angrily, and i admit that i over-reacted. this is the rest of our conversation. Me: "do you remember last year, when Scout (a friend from school) and i got into that fight at lunch? do you remember who apologized? thats right. her. she knew that i had more friends, and that i didn't need her to be happy or feel good about myself." Her: "oh right, because i care so much about friends." Me: "oh right, i forgot. you're a socially awkward, nit-wit who doesn't need any friends." Her: "f*** you. also i unfollowed you on instagram." Me: K bye. have a wonderful life!" and i know that i overreacted a bit, but when i get mad, i get REALLY mean. So I asked my roommates (they're 4 of us in total) in a group chat if we can have a kickback at our place for my birthday. One roommate responded "when exactly is your birthday?" and I said February 23rd, and she only said "ok". The other 2 have yet to respond back. Should I just assume that means no? I haven't returned back to the apartment yet, but IDK why they haven't responded. One of our roommates did have a kickback at our place in September which kinda ended up in drama (long story short, she didn't tell me about it at all and that night I had a lot of hw to do, I got REALLY pissed, she started crying because I was pissed, we made up the day after). |

There was this one girl, extremely attractive, who I talked with and texted earlier in the year but she stopped and stopped talking to me. Just now I was assigned partner with her and she is pretty "mean". "Whatever" kind of acting. I can't stand having no friends, my parents are increasingly asking me to go with friends or telling me I don't socialize. I would love to, I don't have any disorders or diseases, I just don't understand what's wrong. I dress great, am always clean, just nobody talks to me. What do I do? Please don't say join clubs. |

I finally got invited to one and my parents won't let me go cause they heard there's going to be alcohol (we're 15) but my parents raised me well and I'm smart enough not to drink knowing I'd be going behind my parents back especially at my age. She decided to pick a fight with the three of us over a text message and claimed that someone we know told her we were "angry and avoiding her and doing what we said we were". We slammed her since she's lied to us before and we did nothing wrong. Shortly after that we planned to make up at lunch. However, come to find out she lied about this person telling her all of that stuff, so needless to say I was angry because of the accusations she threw that would only be justified by a lie. She later texted me threatening to kill herself (even though one day before she went on a rant about how stupid she thinks people who commit suicide are) and BEGGED me to listen to her. I told her no because I was sick of being lied to and I had lost any sense of trust I felt towards her and it made me question our friendship. Despite this, she and her friend ambushed my friends and I in the hallway and apologized, so I apologized too. I assumed it was over and done with. Two days later, she posted on DeviantArt about the situation and did not tell any of the story. She made my friends and I especially out to be monstrous people who are abusing her without reason. Needless to say, I am enraged. Should I report her post to get it taken down? She drug this on for three days after we made up. |

Back when I used to see him all the time, he'd stare at me A LOT. He'd also shyly smile at me when I caught him looking at me. He'd act really shy around me and he wasn't that way towards my friend and I's other female friend. On Facebook, there used to be this game where you could "buy" your FB friend a drink or send them a "wink" if they also played the game and we all played the game and he'd "buy" me drinks and send me "winks" all the time. He was the one who initiated it. One day, I was over at their house and my friend's mom/his wife saw it and asked about it and he joked that I was trying to get him drunk, although HE was the one who initiated these things. I can't really remember much else. I just remember he would say the most random things, just to talk to me. He acted like a shy teenage boy around me. Not to sound conceited, but I've gotten a lot more attractive over these last few years. We're still FB friends so he has seen my pictures. He hasn't "liked" or commented on anything in years, nor has he even wished me a happy birthday, although I've wished him a happy birthday every year. If I comment on his post, he ignores it. Do you think he's attracted to me and just trying to ignore my existence? I know this is kind of weird that I still care when I shouldn't because I am way over him. I just commented on his post and again, he ignored it. That's why I asked. By the way, back then, his wife was REALLY mean to him, very verbally abusive. I hated being around for it. He told me that after he finished speaking, there is a pause from me which he finds annoying ( I am shy and was thinking of what to say next). Frustrated with my self, I said " I don't know why I do this sh**. I told him I wasn't angry at him but frustrated with my shyness while I talk on the phone. He kept on asking me if I was really angry at him and I told him no. Then we started talking like normal, but at the end of the conversation, he told me that he was upset and couldn't let what I said go, and that during our conversation he felt like shouting at me. He has anger issues and became hostile saying things like fu** it over and over, despite me telling him to calm down, and that I was sorry for my choice of words. He even said that if I were to kill myself, it would be my fault and that if I told him "I don't know why I do this sh** again, he will tell me to fu** off and not talk to me again. When I became upset over how he was acting toward me, he said that he felt no pity and that I should act like a fu****g adult. He made sniffling, crying noises over the phone in a mocking way. Then he said he wants me to think about what I said and no contact. I know I could have used a better choice of words, but the way he reacted was extreme. I do have to watch what I say when talking to him and he is a volatile person and has been through many relationships. |

Am I ever gonna get over this? We haven't been friends since October 20th of last year and she said she would never forget about me once she got a boyfriend but she did forgot about me because she just stopped talking to me completely. Because I don't , I mean yes life can get busy, but you are a human and you still have to eat right. So here is my problem I am a college student male, and some people who I at least consider a friend (mostly females). , if I see them in person, they smile at me and seem happy to see me, but when I try to contact them about meeting for lunch or dinner, they say they are busy.most of them time. Although note that they usually respond. Some people might respond for the first few times i contact them and I may even be able to meet with them once for dinner or lunch, but after that they stop responding completely What I do not understand is, you are a human right,and you still have to eat right? I am assuming that they just don't want to hang out with me, if that is the case, why can't those people just say, I don't want to hang out with you, instead of making up excuses or ignoring me all the time? |

I'm good at drawing, writing, playing the bass guitar, good with speaking, generally all stuff that has to do with creativity. The thing is, none of these things make my life feel "full" or "satisfied".. I want to feel more as if I spend my time pursuing/doing things I love, work on projects, dream big etc and all this time I feel like I'm destined to do something creative with my life but I still don't have a clue what direction to go.. We got a new boss 6 months ago who was only 27 and single. He has proved to be a great boss. Our old boss was fat, ugly, married and hit on every female that worked for him married or not. We were so happy to see him go. We had a going away party AFTER he left. We have all been working very hard on a project for the last month. It involved a lot of overtime at nights and weekends. We completed the project on time and everyone was happy. Our new boss told us he could not give us a raise but he converted a room to a beauty salon. It is open at noon, after work hours and on Saturday and everything was FREE for the employees. It was something we all very much appreciated, especially us single moms. It will save us a lot of money and is so convenient. We were very surprised as who would have thought a 27 year old single guy would know how much we gals would appreciate this. The two guys in the office complained that we gals were getting better treatment than they were. The boss told them they could use the beauty shop if they wanted to. Us gals think the guys just like to complain. What do you think? Also do you think we have the best boss in the world? |

He bangs extremely loud on his desk, this no longer qualifies as a light tap. The boy sounds like he is trying to play the drums. He narrates every comment the teacher makes in this incredibly annoying deep voice. He makes extremely annoying comments that I find rude, ex the teacher had trouble taking attendance because people moved seats. So he says "Wow Mrs. _____ that was an extremely long attendance". Even the sound of this kid's voice gets on my nerves. What makes this all even worse is that this boy admitted that he had a crush on me a few months ago and I think he still does. He entered my math class this week due to the new semester and my friend and I caught him staring at me for 2 minutes straight. I will tell my math teacher not to stick me in a group with this kid, that will be fine. But I am stuck in this seat in Chemistry in front of this boy until the end of Q3 which isn't until April. How do I get to April? I have no friends in my Chemistry class and the only other open seat is right next to this boy. |

(I have actually been friends with him on his real account and talked to him on his real account before). For awhile he wouldn't talk to me even though I would email him. The other day he replied to my email telling me to call him. I was afraid at first to call him because when I called before he yelled at me. He said I was insulting his intelligence when I said he's been adding me on fake accounts but I know it's actually him. Once I asked him on the fake account why does he do it he said personal freedom. So he and I did talk a few nights ago I told him I didn't like it when he blocked me. I told him I might need his help with some writing for my English class. He told me I contact him if I needed his help. He has said this before that if I need his assistant he would help me. Yet he's blocked me before so he unblocked me after we talked the other night he unblocked me but blocked me from sending him messages. I've seen where people have said they have talked to him and that he's insecure. Once he told me that flirting with him flatters his ego whatever that means. |

This was embarrassing. So although she saw me in high school and said hi to me and I was attracted to her, 10 years later I cursed her out on Twitter saying **** you for making fun of me in 5th grade. I also got her friends number and made up a lie that I knew her and asked for her number and she told me she doesn't have it and then I told her I'm not stupid I know you have it. At least have the balls to tell me you don't have it but don't lie to me. And then I told her anyways when you see her tell her she's not a real woman since she won't apologize for what she did. Then her friend called me from a restricted number first time I didn't pick up and then 5 minutes later she called and I picked up and I was really nervous to speak and then she was like if you don't stop and then she sensed that I was nervous she screamed listen at me and I couldn't talk back and then she was being obnoxious to me and it sounded like she was laughing with her friends and then she said if you don't stop I'll send someone after you.. I then sent her friend text messages in August getting really angry daring her friend to send someone after me and I threatened revenge because of the trauma. She responded stay away from her she's done nothing to you and you can't do anything to her. Was this right? |

I don't smoke.me and my friends were going to get together for a drink (problem my first real drink) (they're both 16 and girls) (my friends are also very responsible not trouble makers) my parents arnt crazy strict like I'm sure they would be fine but Im not sure. My friends parents get the alcohol from the shops so it's nothing dangerous and I know about the units and my limits. How could I say to them that we'd be drinking in my house? They'd be the type to respect that Im telling them but know that I would be doing ot anyway. I thought it would be best for the first time to be somewhere safe. Should I say to them or just do it? Being the romantic type of girl that I am, I said Its beautiful and just a great night. My friend, who was standing behind me, said Its only beautiful because you're here with me. He's definitely one of my good friends and after he said it, he kissed the back of my head. He's 6'5 and I'm 5'8, so kissing me on the back of the head isn't too easy, but he managed it well. Before we went to dinner, we were getting ready and I decided to wear this white strapless dress with white heels. I did my hair really nice and when I finished he walks in and says, Wow you're beautiful and that outfit is amazing. He opened the door to his car for me and when we got to the restaurant, he held the door, basically being a gentlemen, which is rare to find. He handed me a single red rose and said, Will you be my date this evening of events? Obviously there was something up, so I said Yes. We shared dinner, then he kept looking at me and rubbing my hand romantically, then asked if we should get going. The dinner and date was just great, but he wasn't over with surprises. To make a long story short, we got back to his condo and he had rose pedals and candles lit (someone did it) and on the screen of the T.V. was a home video, we had made when we started to be friends. We watched it and the video just brought back so many good memories together, that I started to cry. He wiped the tear off my eye, then we hugged really tight. I'm female and he's obviously male. not male and male. |

She refuses to spend a dime on other People, even for Christmas. I just had a birthday, and she drew me a picture and made a paper card. Now that's cute when you're five. I know people say it is the thought that counts but I mean c'mon. You can get a birthday card for 50 cents. The thing that upsets me is that I'm always giving her expensive gifts and buying her stuff when we're out and about. Another time she had secret santa for class. She got the girl sour patch kids with her parent's LINK CARD. The girl did not eat them because she had braces. I just think she needs to grow up a bit. My family git ti travel a lot, a made great new friends, and I learned a ton about a new culture. Lately I've gotten extremely homesick, and the fact that all my friends are slowly mooring back to the U.S. isn't helping. I rarely go a day without crying, either because of my lack of friends here, or because I miss my friends back home. I feel like I'm missing out on so much that's going on with all my old friends, and I'm scared that even though I visited them this summer, after another year things won't be the same between us. I've brought this up with my parents before, excluding how often I cry (I guess I was embarressed), and they told me we can't go back because the economy in Canada isn't doing well. I get that, and understand that we can't go back right now, but I don't know what to do while I'm here. I don't really have any hobbies or anyone to hang out with. Whenever I talk to any of my old friends or look at pictures of them I break down, because I just need to be with them right now, and I feel like they're all growing up, and changing, but leaving me behind. Any advice on what I should do, or ways to distract myself? |

She ignored me since December and last night around 2:30 a.m she calls me crying saying that her and her bf broke up and that she wants to talk. I don't know if I should give her a chance because she left me for 2 months without a word in between.. Sometimes I wonder if she really was my best friend at all? The rest of the people in the scene are all guys. He ends up hugging us, not in a romantic way, but it kinda bothers me. I want to treat him like a friend, because I see him a lot in other shows.
