Question: Why do men take care of other womens children but not their own? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 01:26 PM PST I understand in a lot of circumstances the mother won t let the father see the kids etc. But sometimes, the mom tries, or there is no custody battle and everything is somewhat okay. But in the situation I m talking about, the Dad did try and then just kinda gave up after that. He takes care of a woman with two kids and they call him Dad. And though he thinks of his biological kid and has pictures of him etc, the woman he s taking care of is the one that says "hey maybe you should call your son?" or "maybe we should go visit?". And I just want to know what people think of men that do this. Like what goes on in their brains. I don t think necessarily that they re bad people. |
Question: I need help, Please!? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 01:19 PM PST my whole family is ****** up and it all started when by older brother did drugs in high school. it has ruined our whole family's life. everyone is my house (mom, dad, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and me (I'm a girl) is very mean hearted and not caring, including me. and this really all happened because of my ******* dumb brother. he's a huge jerk, he's 20 years now and does nothing. he lives in our house and is mean and selfish. he doesn't go to college, he doesn't have a job, he doesn't even clean up his food after he's done eating, and all he does is play video games or blast his guitar. I'm going to college next year and I'm just really depressed about the whole situation that has happened over the past 8 or 9 years. I just need advice. thank you for any help, and reading all of this. |
Question: I am scared cause my 16 year old wants to meet her abusive father? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 01:16 PM PST I lived with my abusive husband for several years before I got pregnant with my daughter. Even when I was in labor with my daughter, he was so verbally abusive that the nurses offered to bar him from the delivery room. When my daughter was three weeks old, he raised his hand to hit me, while she was in my arms. I left him. That was almost 17 years ago. I spent a lot of years going from state to state hiding from him. Now my daughter has found his current residence and wants to go see him. I understand she wants to know her dad, but, I am scared. I know he is with someone else now, which is why I dont have to run any more. I am just scared of what will happen when she talks to him. Is there any advice anyone can give me to calm my nerves? I wont tell her not to look him up, but I am also fearful for her emotions |
Question: Do parents have the right to read their children's personal diary? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 01:14 PM PST My psychologist said that parents don't have the right to do that. But my mom disagrees. She says that even teachers can read my personal diary. |
Question: Do you think she's being fair? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 01:00 PM PST My sister is 19 and lives in MA with her few month old baby and her boyfriend in a big apartment. She has been working ever since she was 14 and has a ton of money saved up. I am 17 and my mom does not support my pregnancy and my dad does not have enough room in his house for me and the baby, so my sister said that I can come live with her in MA and she will help me out financially with the baby when it is born under one condition, I have to go to any job interviews she applies me for. Sometimes I have to wake up at like 6 and get home at 8 or 9 and I am tired and have morning sickness and she is just bossing me around. Because I am 17, I do not have enough money to support it but my sister will help me. She buys the groceries, pays the bills, and will help me with my baby but again, she's bossy. She make me wake up at 6 for job interviews and more. She asks me to get her groceries, clean her house and more but do you think she is being fair? She is helping me out a lot financially and said that she will help out with the baby when it is born (feeding, putting it to sleep, etc.) She also lets me use her car whenever I need it but is she being fair? |
Question: How to convince my mom to let me skip practice? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 12:55 PM PST I have gymnastics practice in a few hours, and I really do NOT want to go. Today, I was supposed to have a school dance, and my coaches and parents were fine with me skipping practice today to go to the dance. But school was cancelled due to snow today, so that means no dance. I figured my mom would just let me skip, even though the dance is no longer happening. But earlier she told me that my dad said I have to go. Today is conditioning which I don't think I can handle. I'm both physically and emotionally drained from this week. I missed school yesterday because I had a test and I wanted to study extra for it. It took a TON of begging and crying, but I think my moms still bitter about me missing school yesterday. I have a meet next week, so it only matters if I miss practice next week, this week doesn't matter much. I plan on explaining that to my mom. I also plan on saying that I don't want to be sore and in for this weekend What else can I say to convince her? I'm extremely tired and was looking forward to relaxing today, but I don't think that's enough of an argument for her. Thanks. Any response will help. |
Question: Baby on the way and I don t know what to do about our living situation?? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 12:51 PM PST Im 7 MO pregnant & me and my husband are having trouble with agreeing on the living arrangement. We wanted to get a 1 BR apartment but b/c of certain events we cant right now.Anyways both his parents & mine offered to make a efficiency. His parents want 2 build it in the garage but its small & it will only be a room,& toilet, with a small walkway but no shower,w/d or kitchen, wed have to use their house. My parents offered a shed, little bit bigger in size, with a kitchen, shower, toilet, bedroom, dining area & w/d.Same price. If we were to live in the garage, wed have to be in the house as well and I feel like wed have no privacy where at the shed we d be away from the house so that way if the baby cries, no one but us will hear him and we can raise him on our own without family barging in(like if we were in the garage). The garage, the ceiling is cracked & failing apart & covered in mold. But Idk how to get him to agree that its not about me its whats best for US & the baby.& I dont want us to fight b/c I absolutely love him & I want whats best for this family. For the same price we get a bit more living space, wed have our privacy, & wed get more stuff in the efficiency & I feel like its safe because the roof & molding isnt fit for anyone to live in let alone our baby. Am I wrong? How should I handle this situation?i also never feel welcomed at his house because I dont speak their language.he said hell go with my parents but just to make me happy but I want him to see its whats best. |
Question: Parental favoritism, how to stop or overcome? Please help? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 12:50 PM PST I know there are all types of favoritism, however my mother favoriting my older sister is really hitting me. For a short background. As kids we went to private school together till my grandpa (the one paying for the school) passed. My mother took both of us out of school. I was 14, my sister was 16. Since my sister's age my mom took her to get her ged right away. Me however was "home schooled" because public school was too big of a shock at first to me. My home schooling started out as my mom teaching me, then turned into, "here's a book good luck" after I turned 16 I wanted to get my license, a car and get my ged. (As my sister did, mother got her a car and license at 14) but I had to wait untill I was 18 for all that. After fights and begging her basically. Now I still see my sister get loads more Christmas gifts, and my mom supports all her bfs, financially and such. She hates my boyfriend's and complains that I cost her so much money, I wasn't ever home. In the circumstance I'm in, I can't move at yet and it'll be a while till I can. When I ask about unfairness, my mom always has an excuse. Both me and my sister have exactly the results of favoritism. (She's entitled I'm not confidant) my sister is very successful now through school, she's now a nurse and makes a lot of money. She could very well move out, but why when you're supported so well. I don't know what to do, I'm depressed and struggling. P.s. I love my sister I know it's not her fault. |
Question: Should I cut off communication with my father? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 12:44 PM PST I will just give you the "Cliff Notes" lol. He was an alkie and walked out on us when I was 11. He didn't pay child support and my mom had to work 2 jobs so she was never around. Then I went 18 years w/o seeing him and he could only stay for an hour and 1/2. He doesn't seem to want to see me. He had lung cancer so I felt bad but he never wants to see me for some reason. Maybe it's b/c of my mom idk? Is this father/daughter relationship "salvageable"? GA 41 let me write out the damn question first lol. |
Posted: 05 Feb 2016 12:30 PM PST My mom grounded me for a month because I accidentally left my homework on the table and Got a 0 for it even though I can bring it tomorrow for half credit. I'm so mad at her for this ridiculous punishment I can't even stand to be in the house with her and take been 6 days. How can I try to calm down? |

Question: Is it normal to not want to go out of my way to talk to my sister? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 12:28 PM PST I talk to her and ask her (basic) questions about her personal life, like her relationship. I care about her, love her, feel bad for her when she cries, so it s not as if I m a sociopath or anything. However, I tend not to dig deep that often when talking to her about personal stuff like a big sister should. Maybe it s because I m an introvert and would rather do my own thing than talking to her? She s struggling with her relationship right now (she s 17) and normally I don t ask many questions or seek to help her unless she comes to me first. My boyfriend who is like a big brother to her is SO caring towards her and is always going out of his way to give her advise and I feel like that should be MY role, yet I don t do it because I guess I don t care to help her like that as deeply as he does. I care about her problems but maybe I m too invested in my own that I don t think to try to help her out more. It s basically like this: I care but not enough to go out of my way...unless she asks of it. |

Question: How can i help me NEET of a brother? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 12:23 PM PST Hey Guys, i come with a problem today that i'm not sure how to solve. I'll start from the beginning. So my older brother has been doing his thing for a couple of years, been doing well but then he met this girl who is stripper and got her pregnant. Ever since then my brother isn't the same. He lost his job, his crazy ex harasses him, he just seems lost. Ever since he lost his job, he came to my mother for help and so as the caring mother that she is and cant turn a blind eye at any of her family. She lets him live with us, its been over year now and he stays cooped up on his room all day and doesn't do anything, my mother wants to help him but he avoids her and says hes fine. As well i'm tired of him taking advantage of her and my mother doesn't like confrontation but she definitively wants to do something, so what should i do? Rip, sorry about the title |
Posted: 05 Feb 2016 12:21 PM PST I STARTED DATING THIS GUY LAST MARCH THAT I HAD A CRUSH ON FOR TWO YEARS AND WHEN I DID MY MOM STARTED TO LOSE IT. SLOWLY BUT SURELY SHE WAS CONTINUOUSLY DOWNING HIM AND BASICALLY TRYING TO FILL MY HEAD WITH POINTLESS PARANOIA TO RUIN IT FOR ME. SINCE BREAKING UP AND GETTING BACK TOGETHER (SECRETLY) SHE STILL HAS NOT CHANGED. SHE HAS NO IDEA I AM STILL SEEING HIM BUT SHE HAS BEEN EXTREMELY OVERBEARING AND IT'S EXHAUSTING. SHE IS CONTINUOUSLY DOWNING THINGS I LIKE. I RUN AN ONLINE BUSINESS AND EVERY TIME SALES ARE UP OR PRODUCTIVITY IS GOOD SHE ACTS LIKE MY BOSS OR SOMETHING! I'M GETTING REAL TIRED OF HER ACTING LIKE SHE RUNS EVERYTHING INCLUDING MY BUSINESS. I AM IN THE MIDST OF GETTING A JOB OUTSIDE THE HOUSE SO I CAN MOVE OUT. DON'T TELL ME TO TALK TO HER BECAUSE EVER ATTEMPT MAKES THINGS WORSE ALL SHE EVER SAYS IS LOOK "I'M THE PARENT YOUR THE CHILD"SHE YELLS AND GETS ANGRY AND THROWS TANTRUMS AND IT GETS SO BAD SOMETIMES SHE LOOKS AS IF HER EYE BALLS ARE GOING TO POP OUT OF HER HEAD. SHE PRINTS OFF ARTICLES FROM THE WEB ABOUT MOTHERS DEALING WITH UNRULY TEENAGERS AND I AM FAR BEYOND A TEENAGER. I AM IN MY EARLY 20'S AND I AM TRYING TO MOVE OUT BUT IF I TELL HER I'M LOOKING FOR AN APARTMENT SHE GETS ANGRY AND THINKS I SHOULD GO STAY ON A COLLEGE CAMPUS!! I'M NEARING THE END OF MY CREDITS AND IT'S TOO EXPENSIVE TO LIVE ON A CAMPUS!! SHE GETS UPSET IF I TRY TO DO THINGS MYSELF I DON'T KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ANY MORE!! HOW CAN I MOVE OUT WITHOUT UPSETTING HER? |
Question: How to make my mom want another baby? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 11:57 AM PST My mom has found a boyfriend after a long time alone after my dad died. The guy seems great and they have a lot in common! I have an older brother but I really want a younger sibling as well. My mom had talked to me a couple of times about wanting another child and if I was ok with it but she doesn't seem to be in such a rush to do it. Shes 43 y/o and I'm afraid that one day it will be to late. Should I let her decide on her own or should I push her to do It? |

Posted: 05 Feb 2016 11:27 AM PST So my boyfriend and I live in a really old family home on my side. The whole second floor is "storage", it's really an episode of hoarders. The first floor is still fine but stuff is being put on that floor too now. My grandmother was cleaning out her garage and showed me a huge chair she wants to out at my house. I said no and she got upset with me. I already have one couch that I have to keep covered that isn't even mine. I have two dogs, one of which is a big messy dog. This furniture she has was expensive, belonged to her late sister and means something to her. I don't want the responsibility of trying to keep this crap in pristine condition with a Malinois running around. I already learned this couch shows spots really bad. She's already yelled at me before when it got messy. I want the couch gone as it is. I don't want to add in a chair I constantly have to worry about. I never have clean spare sheets or blankets because I have to keep the couch totally covered. I don't want her stuff to get ruined and with my dogs the house isn't not a good place to put it at all. How can I get her to see that it's not a good idea? |

Question: Should I get a job and go to college? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 11:24 AM PST my mom and I keep getting into discussions & arguments about me getting a job I want to get a job to have extra money and my mom wants me to depend on school loan money since she has section 8 or subsidized housing she's afraid that if I get a job they'll cut her off section 8 but I feel like if I don't work that'll leave me with no money to put gas in my car, pay my phone bill. When i'm at school I have no money to buy lunch for myself or food to cook at home I basically depend on her and mostly my boyfriend for help when it comes to food and money and she feels like my boyfriend is cheap and should support me with everything so I wouldn't have to work for a few years or until I graduate college and he does support me a lot the best way he can while supporting himself at the same time when it comes to gas in my car, getting food for my pet, taking me out to eat or buying food to cook I also want a job so I can go out to more events instead of staying cooped up in the house, my boyfriend is willing to pay for hotel expenses and his bus ticket while I pay for my bus ticket and my ticket to get in if its a small event he'll pay for both of us to get in something a little pricey I can put my part in which isn't much compared to what he pays I feel like I should have my own job and not fully depend on them. I want to get more familiar with working I had a job before but it didn't last very long since my mom kept taking my money to sort out to pay bills and it made me depressed. |

Question: Family member died as soon as I left the room...? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 11:10 AM PST I'm 16 and my grandpa died yesterday early morning. I was always his favorite grandchild, just throwing that out there. Anyways, he was laying on the couch going through a "death rattle." It had started at 2 pm and my mother and I got there around 9 pm, there was no change. He wasn't talking, just gasping for air laying on the couch surrounded by family. At 1 AM, I decided to quickly run home and grab a charger. I live not even three minutes away. I was barely down the road and my mom texted me and told me to come back. They said that as soon as I left, he had taken his last breath. I was just wondering if anyone knew why he was like this since 2 pm, and died within a minute of me leaving at 1 am? Thank you. |
Question: How do I get revenge on my sister? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 11:00 AM PST Lately she s been doing a lot of things that really pisses me off. She insults me and steals my stuff on a regular basis. A few time she actually went so far as to break open my door to get in while I was out. Clothes, funiture, laptop - she take s just about everything from me. She tries to make me look bad in front of my parents and friends and blames me for things I didn t do. Sometimes she gets pretty violent and lashes out at me for no reason at all. She acts like she has complete control over me and quite frankly, I ve had enough. She needs a taste of her own medicine. I m totally helpless in this situation. What should I do to get her to stop and to get back at her? Please help me! |
Question: My mom made me breakfast, but I hate it? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 10:58 AM PST I'm 14, my mom made me a fried egg on toast and I appreciate that she made it for me, but I really don't like it. I find egg revolting, I just can't eat it. I love her so much but I told her I don't like it and she got really mad even after I said I appreciate it. Please no one call me a brat or anything because I'm so grateful that she cares about me this much but I honestly can't eat egg without feeling nauseous. Please help! |
Question: How do I get my mother to stop calling me every single day ? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 10:31 AM PST Anyone have advice how to deal with a controlling mom ? I am 23 and live with my hubby and son but it doesnt stop her from meddling in all our lives including calling me to " check in " on me as she says every day. Its so annoying and distracting. I tried letting her calls go to voicemail but then she will just keep calling and after about 5 times she will call my husband at work and ask whats "wrong" with me. I also tried telling her she doesnt need to call every day but she ignored it . I am out of ideas ! |
Question: Can a girl be zafting with these measurements? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 10:19 AM PST It's for my friend, not me. She's 34, 5'6 and weighs about 125. Question: Help! My father took my autistic brother? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 10:00 AM PST My father is mad at my mother. i woke up to see both him and my bro gone. My brother is suicidal and is autistic. I dont know what I can do because my mother went to her pt session and he must have left right after she did. They both do not have a phones. I know my dad has a hand gun in the back of the car but he's not allowed own any guns because of a stupid illegal search thing that happened with the police last year. Question: My dad and brother are driving me insane?!? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 09:31 AM PST I'm honestly just about fed up with my dad lately. So my younger brother is 13 and I'm 18, and I still live at home. Basically my brother has some serious behavioral/social issues. He just doesn't understand how to behave politely or normally in public, he'll make stupid snide remarks about just about anything, and he just acts really odd. I've always wondered if he has Assberger's syndrome or something, but my parents refuse to get him tested for it. He doesn't get along with ANYONE at home, even he and my dad fight frequently, mostly just because he's so disobedient and disrespectful. He'll spend hours upon hours daily just playing his stinking video games, when he could be out socializing and learning how to act like a normal human being! My dad's problem is that he fails to accept the fact that my brother's got problems. He'll always shift the blame onto me or my sisters saying that if we treated him better he wouldn't act the way he does. If I so much as call him a name, my dad will ground me until further notice, it's ridiculous! And I know it's not right to mistreat him, but he makes it almost impossibly hard not to sometimes. For example, the other night I was vacuuming his room for him and he walks in, pulls my hair and scream at me to get out. I was doing him a favor, and he acts like a total **** for it. And as always, my dad sided with him saying I shouldn't have been in his room without permission. I'm sick of it, and nothing is changing. What do I do?! I feel like my dad defending him 24/7 is only validating his bad behavior. He has hardly any friends at school and kids just think he's annoying! I had his math tutor personally tell me that she can't stand him, just because of his disrespectful and irritating behavior. I tried telling my dad and he yelled at me for making it up and trying to get him in trouble. I care about him and I know that if he doesn't shape up soon he'll have a really tough life down the road. I need some advice please! |
Question: My nephew was diagnosed with stage 4 Wilms cancer? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 09:31 AM PST My sister & her husband live in Oklahoma where my 5 year old nephew was diagnosed with stage 4 Wilms Cancer. He has been receiving chemo & radiation treatments. Plus he is now on heart & blood pressure medication. My brother in law has a part time job & my sister lost her job bec between my nephew getting admitted into the hospital & all his treatments, she kept having to take time off of work so her place of employment, terminated her so now she is more focused on his treatments. My nephew even had to have 3 blood transfusions. Sooner Care Medicaid will not cover all those costs so my sister & her husband has to pay the difference which is very expensive. Every pay check he makes, goes towards my nephew's medications & treatments making it where they have to borrow money from friends and family to keep their home. My sister has a Go FundMe account. It's called Super Power for Wesley-Go FunMe. If you type that down in your web browser address bar it should take you there. If you could please donate to that cause, the money will go directly for his medications and treatments. I tried posting a picture of him but yahoo answers won't let me even when I keep resizing it but any amount will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. |
Question: I am 16 and being emotionally abused by my mom. Is there anything I can and it should do? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 09:07 AM PST She calls me worthless, belittles my achievements, and makes all of her failures my fault. She's better than my father who is physically abusive. Luckily they are divorced so I don't see him much. I don't know what to do about my mom though, she has cut us off from most of the family and barley lets me out of the house other than to go to school. Please tell me what I should do, I'm at a loss. -K |
Question: My mother is stalking me? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 08:59 AM PST my mother is abusive. i was taken from her when she tried to kill herself. she's attacked me on multiple occasions while i lived with her. i live in a foster home now. i go on a website called "fanfiction.net" and my mother has been stalking me on there. she keeps texting me about everything i do, and it's killing me. what can i do? |
Question: Dealing with mental illness in the family? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 08:55 AM PST My mom (in my opinion) has a sever anxiety disorder. She refuses to get it looked at but its very bad! She flips out over the smallest of things & will never admit when she's wrong. It's always someone else's fault. I also have a confirmed mild mood disorder. I'm on a mood stablizer which has done WONDERS however my mom will constantly do things to "set me off" & I sometimes I really have to question if she does it on purpose. When I'm home just my father & I I'm very stable & calm as is he! As soon as my mother walks in the house it's like all h-ll breaks loose! He's yelling, she's yelling & my anxiety from listening to the constant fighting is through the roof!!! I honestly sometimes wish my parents would divorce. I feel like they are so bad for each other. How do I deal with all of this? Especially with myself having a mood disorder it makes it a bit difficult. Advice? |
Question: Am I a fool for not wanting my parents to be independent at almost 20? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 08:21 AM PST I have 2 choices: Move in with my parents and live there for free and have them pay for everything, including college. Or, live on my own and work a full time job while doing college part time. Expenses such as rent, tuition and books, car insurance, phone bills, gas, and food are mine. I'm sure some would say that I'm an idiot for either choice. |
Question: How can I focus enough to get out of a terrible living situation? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 08:19 AM PST A few months ago, I graduated college and until recently, I had a job. Now, I'm trying to find something that will allow me to live independently since I continue to live with my mom for now. I feel like I'm constantly in this position where I'm treated like an emotional punching bag whenever she becomes upset at someone else or stressed out about a situation that has nothing to do with me. She constantly lashes out at me when she's upset (even when I try to help her) and rather than just talking to me, acts passive aggressive when it comes to things getting done around the house . Whenever I stick up for myself or try to calmly explain my feelings to her, she refuses to hear what I have to say and invalidates my feelings. I am depressed and falling back into the same negative emotional mindsets that I struggled with in high school. Some days, it's so hard to get motivated to do what I need to because I'm emotionally exhausted or because my mom wants me to prioritize things that are not as important at the moment and becomes upset if I don't. For example, remodeling my room when I plan on moving out vs. finding a job. When I worked, I always offered to help pay bills and gave her money, but she refused it. And now, she talks about how I don't pay rent when we argue. I pay for all of my expenses aside from house bills. All this leaves me drained and I don't know how to break through my depression and maintain the motivation I need to find a job and get out of here. Any advice? |

Posted: 05 Feb 2016 07:59 AM PST My father in law is only 58. Since he wasn't doing well, he moved in with my sister-in-law a year ago. SIL went out of town last Friday for the weekend. We visited him there on Friday night & asked him to stay with us. He was acting odd. He tried to give us a large amount of money & kept telling us how much he loved the grandkids. We were worried bc he does have heart problems/oxygen issues. He was supposed to have surgery to remove a blockage on Feb. 15. He declined our offer to stay w/ us bc he wanted to be alone/the kids are loud. He said he felt fine. I said I'd bring him breakfast in the morning, he said he really wanted to be by himself bc he never gets alone time. We called Saturday night & he didn't answer. So we went over there. We found him in bed, passed away. My husband & his sisters believe it was heart failure. I wasn't sure, reflecting on our Friday night visit. I was so preoccupied w/ kids complaining they were hungry that I didn't give his behavior the attention I should have. Now I'm upset that we didn't pack his things & make him come w/ us. I tried to talk with my husband about the possibility of something other than heart failure & he shut me out. I haven't said more. They hired a maid service to clean. When I went to drop off the check, the woman gave me some ripped papers she found. One said "Understanding suicide," the other was ways to correctly overdose. I told her to throw them away. Did I do the right thing? If not, what should I do? I didn't know he was depressed, but we did find two pill bottles for Paxcil, which is a depression med. So I guess he was. My husband was already upset when I suggested it was maybe an accidental overdose (I thought self inflicted, but didn't say it) when we saw the empty pill bottles. So I just didn't want to bring it up again. We've never had a secret between us before. I just don't know it's better to keep something from him in this instance or not. I thought it was, but now I'm not sure. We called 911 on Saturday when we found him. The police came out already and investigated. So did a medical examiner. No idea what they concluded (heart failure or other), because they didn't tell us anything. They only asked us questions. |

Posted: 05 Feb 2016 06:05 AM PST we have really bad family problems, and my 8 year old sister makes it worse. She hits and abuses me and all my family (especially my mom) and my mom does nothing about it. My little sister has just recently told us that she "hears voices in her head telling her to do bad things" and my parents won't take her to get professional help. I'm fed up with everything in this house, and things need to get fixed, because my parents aren't doing anything. My mom is depressed, my little sister is mentally and physically abusive to us all. Would we get taken away by child services if i tell my school counsler? I've tried talking to my uncle but he's no help, so now I want to go to the school. Would we get taken away? I don't want that to happen, I just want things to get fixed. My parents are good parents, they just don't know what they are doing. |
Question: Is my step sister mental? She's 30 years old and quit her job. I have heard that she does crystal meth. Also, she talks to herself a lot knowing that I hear her. |

Question: Why won't my brother get his divorce final? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 05:57 AM PST My brothers soon to be ex wife filed for divorce 2 years ago. They have a little girl together. He lives about 40 minutes from them because of his job. He does all the picking up and dropping off. When they went to their last meeting, it was decided that she has to pay him mileage. That was over a year ago and she has yet to pay him. This agreement was in the court document. He hasn't pushed the issue at all. It is like he doesn't care. Then he was laid off from his job. He was paying her almost $200 a week in child support that the two of them agreed on. WAY TOO MUCH! Then when he was laid off, he missed one payment and she took him to court. That blew up in her face because the court said he paid too much and it was lowered...way lower. Now he is engaged and ready to move on with his life. She has a boyfriend but for some reason she will not sign the marriage settlement agreement. I really like my brothers fiancee and I know it has to bother her. She has been a friend of the family for years, otherwise she never would have dated him until the divorce is final. thoughts? |

Question: Do you think females who like sports are manly? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 04:41 AM PST I don't like sports and I don't watch sports channels on TV. Sports is boring and it's a masculine hobby. I don't play basketball, tennis, soccer, football, volleyball, hockey, pool, ping pong, or golf. I don't know how to do a back flip or cart wheel. I don't know how to ride a bicycle or scooter. I don't know how to roller skate or skateboard. I don't know how to swim or surf. I don't know how to ski or snowboard. I don't take part in gymnastics. I don't lift weights or run on treadmills. I don't do yoga or meditation. I don't take part in track and field. I am very feminine compared to most women of today. So all those females who compared themselves to me and said they know how to cook while I don't here is my retaliation. They like sports and watch soccer on TV. They cheer goal! Because they are men. |
Question: My family doesn't believe in me? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 03:14 AM PST I am going back to college in order to one day become a pharmacist. That is my passion deep down inside and I am dong my best to reach my goals. My dad on the other hand asked what do I want to do and I told him I want to be a pharmacist like 10 times, yet he laughs in my face and says oh you know that's going to be 10 years of school you dummy you actually think you can do that. He then told my grandma and she was even laughing at me. I don't get it I'm serious about being back in college and trying to do right but yet it's like even when I think I'm doing the right thing I get taken for a joke. I was so upset I started crying out of anger since my family thinks I don't have what it takes and they were saying oh look at the baby crying damn what's wrong with you. It hurts that they don't support my decision but I will have the last laugh when I prove them wrong. |

Just waiting for the right time. Also, I opened a new bank account yesterday at the same branch I opened my old account at. What can I do? Do I have the right of my privacy? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 02:22 AM PST I'm 20 and I'm college student, I hate vacations because it means family time. Anyways, yesterday my dad was asking us to get ready because we were going shopping, I told him ok, my little brother was at the bathroom so he came again and I told I can't get ready my brother is in the bathroom, he cam to me pulled me from the hair and het hit me on the head 6 times near my ears then pulled my ears yelling at me and I wet myself, all I was thinking by that time is what did I do to get this? Then mom came to calm him down. This is the second time in this month the same scenario happen. I'm really hating them and I wish I could live away all on my own, or they day. I'm thinking of suicide more often. I'm so smart in college but I receive no support or appreciation. Question: My mum has been getting upset at me for not spending money.? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 02:10 AM PST Recently my mum has been getting upset at me and getting a little angry and annoyed at me.We aren t a very rich family. My dad had been unemployed for a while and we had been on centrelink but now my dad does a nightly cleaning job and my mum also works 4hrs a day at night. Even so i never really felt that we were that poor as i never lacked anything and we always ate properly and got what we needed. So i currently have two jobs. Its still the holidays (uni student) so i ve been working at a cafe for 3 days and doing tutoring another day. I don t really spend so I ve saved up a few thousand. The problem is my mum has been upset at me. She often borrows money from me so one day she borrowed $1000 off me. I often asked her when she s going to pay me back. Im not that serious about getting it back tbh so i guess i should have stopped asking her. But oneday she got got upset and was telling me how dissapointed she was that i was trying to get it back even tho she was my mother and how when she was young she gave most of her earnings to her mum . Then today she started calling me a cheapskate because i never spent money. I do buy food when we go out sometimes and on birthdays and such i always get her a present. I might not be the biggest spender. Im really not used to spending tbh. But it makes me upset that she thinks this way about me. What do i do? She was also upset today about the fact that i taught her english in a very disrespectful manner. She is learning english at school at the moment and often asks me to help her. But mainly its her trying to finish the homework and me giving her all the answers. I really hated her attitude when i tried to explain thing. She'd demand to just give her the answers so i really was very disrespectful towards her. That and the money issue just made us both disappointed in each other I already told her before that she dosent need to pay me back and then we spat about money again today I know she loves me and cares about me. So i want to give need it. But she just makes me upset and makes it seem like im the 'bad' one or something. She was the one who initially said that she'd pay me back which was why i asked. Then she goes on about how disappointed she is.. I love her, and i know she does too but sometimes i really dont understand her.. or maybe im the weird one... |
Question: Am I an 18 year old baby? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 01:54 AM PST I'm 18 yo female and live on rent for college. I'm really scared of spiders and whenever I'd see one my parents would kill it. Now that I'm on rent I call the landlord every time to kill it. She lives upstairs. She doesn't have a problem but I still feel embarrassed lol. So my qUestion is am i a big baby lol? Will she get mad at me calling her every time? :"( |
Posted: 05 Feb 2016 01:24 AM PST The alternative is instead of giving her this money, to make her spend her own money, so she has less to gamble and I can save up in case we need it later. |
