He doesn't have kids. But he has a great job, and owns a home. He is a very wise man, very caring, etc. About 2 months after dating, I finally took the plunge and moved in with him. Things were great at first but I could tell he was getting very exsauhsted. I decided to move back to my hometown. We are currently in a long distance relationship. At first we had a set plan when we would move in again, get married, etc. Now he says he's unsure. He doesn't think he's strong enough to be a father figure. Which I completely understand. We talked and I told him that maybe we should take a break. That's not what I want to do but I felt that it's only right. Then he started crying and said he doesn't want that. He says he wants to "try" to make it work. While I don't want to leave him at all, idk if I can be in a long distant relationship for a few years and not have a plan. And two, while I know that it takes time to warm up to being a "Dad" I'm not sure if can be with someone who is already a father figure but then say that he's not sure if he can handle it but he wants to. I'm frustrated because even though he knows we are what he wants, idk if he will ever fully commit to it. I know that it's a lot on his plate..but I thought being distant would help him figure it out more and now I feel like it's just doing the opposite. I'm not sure what I should do. |

I noticed from the beginning we didn t have much in common, but I am a pretty easy person to get along with. The first few months were great he always initiated everything, talking, sex, planning dates. But because we seem like very different people, it s hard to have a conversation with him without getting into an argument. We ve almost broken up twice due to trust issues his fault with texting girls but that was a long time ago and does not happen anymore. Now it seems the only thing we can enjoy together is watching movies or doing something where we don t have to talk. Our sex life used to be great and he said it s the best sex he s ever had. But within the last 6 months or so we rarely have sex anymore, I try to initiate by going down on him he just gets off from a ******* and doesn t try to have sex with me. Our communication already sucks so it s kind of awkward to bring up my issues with him cuz I feel like we re not "close". I feel like he s very selfish in the relationship. He always asks me to bring him food at least 3 times a week and never asks for anything I want. I bought him and I tickets to a pro football game the most he s ever done for me is given me money on Christmas. Has the relationship been doomed from the start? Or can I try and change my actions and if so how do I go about it positively without making it sound like it s all his fault. |

I cried all day and night. Then the next day we didn't talk till night time which I said I wanted to get back together because it was stupid to break up, since that's something we can fix, he then told me no he doesn't think it's gonna work. But after a long, tiring conversation with him we both agreed to get back together and we instantly got happy again. Today I saw him and looked through his phone and he messaged his friend saying that he got back with me, and that it was "so easy, I was begging him to come back" then another text from another friend saying that he broke up with me but that I was too sad so He decided to come back (which is a lie) I know guys try to sound cool with their friends but this is unacceptable right? Should I break up again? Or stay with him but makes sure he does all the work this time? |

He was talking of a deal with pizza delivery from Dominos which the worker didn't know about. I was calling in trying to order the pizza for the price he wanted and when I begin discussing the discount they have now with the dominos worker he got frustrated and hit me hard in the face. He slapped me right across the face hard. This has never happened before. Right after I hid my face because i felt tears streaming down and went into the bedroom and locked the door behind me. I felt panicked as I've witnessed and experienced abuse from men before. He unlocked the door and I tried to make light of the deal while folding blanket. He apologized and kissed me saying he was sorry that he'd never "actually hit me". But this scares me. My father and stepfather were both abusive men and I don't want this to be a pattern with myself. It would kill my mom who got most of the abuse growing up. What do you guys think? One time thing? Or just the start of something? I love him, but I also feel worried and confused. I'm young only 19 years old and he's 23 years old. I'm young and need advice!! Help!!? He does pay bills and this is the first time it ever happened. But I feel too scared to ask friends who know both of us well. They wouldn't expect this from him either. But yes please help |

So I'm no stranger to them. There's one barista girl (let's call her Megan) who is kind of shy. But Megan's the one who, admittedly, I would *really* like to talk to more than the others (yes, she's cute), but we don't get the chance because she's usually on drive-thru. In the past week, there have been several "is Megan giving me signals, too?" moments. #1: Megan went on break, and few minutes later, the mom of a friend I haven't seen in like 15 years came up to me. As we were reconnecting, Megan turned almost all the way around in her seat as if she wanted to jump in the conversation, and kept looking back at me (making eye contact) every few seconds after. #2: A couple days ago, I was getting a refill, and Megan deliberately doubled-back to make my coffee as she was heading to the back room and saw me in line. The girl taking my order totally could have, and Megan went completely out of her way to do it. #3: Yesterday, as I was in line for another refill, Megan was at her drive-thru post and caught my eye and gave me a really big smile, so I smiled back, which made her smile even more and drop her eyes. Am I overthinking this? Next time she's on break, should I just invite her to my table and talk? It's so different than the other baristas, who I just...naturally talk to every day. |

And yeah long story short everything was going great but we had our ups and downs. And we would end it in between but we would also inform each other that we're ending it. Didn t understand what that meant but moving on...so when school started I didn t hit her up for a few months then she hit me up one night I left her on read and she was like ight dem sheesh. But I had work in the morning so I wasnt in the mood. I feel like I gotta hit her up most of the time when I know she s convenient. I understand she in college and I m in high school but come on now. Over the summer, she would hit me up and occasionally call me but now it s like whatever at this point. We also told each other we loved each other over the summer if they helps. So is she into me or not ? |

When I had class w him in college, I was looking for summer housing, &he connected me w his female colleague who needed a summer roomie 1 day that summer when I came home from my job, my roomie(his colleague) had invited their whole dept over for dinner &forgot to tell me-he was there& invited me to stay. When I joined them at the table, they were discussing dating experiences& he said "shh, everyone, I want to hear how (my name) dates/meets bfs." At end of the night when everyone was leaving, I saw him lean over &whisper to my roomie. I said goodnight to her to go to bed &she said "Btw, (my name), I never asked if u are seeing anyone-do u have a bf?" When school started again, I was meeting his colleague/my former roomie for dinner to catch up &suddenly I saw him walking towards us-when my roomie saw my surprise she said "oh I hope u dont mind I invited (his name) bc he REALLY likes u," &she turned around to look at my face when she said it Once I saw him at an event w another mutual friend, &the friend asked me how old I am, &then turned to him &said "See, shes 22." Hes also walked me home before bc we live in same direction, initiates asking me about my future -where I want to live &do in my career, &does stuff like say "she's really smart," if I say something in a group convo. We've also done dinner &coffee twice |
| Question: When is it the right time? Posted: 27 Nov 2016 07:33 PM PST So me and this girl went on our first date today. It was awesome. We've known each other for years and suddenly now dating. After the date today I walked her to her car and asked if I could get a hug goodbye and she smiled and said no. I kinda expected this (due to the fact she's never kissed or had any kinda relationship with a guy before) I was just wondering how many more dates in should I make a move and if so what should I do |

Posted: 27 Nov 2016 07:32 PM PST I'm a senior in high school and I'm only 5'0 tall, and I'm going to a mostly girl college, and I was wondering if I'd ever be able to get a girlfriend. I've never had a girlfriend but I have made out with a girl and have had a few opportunities to have sex, but not a relationship. I'm the type of boyfriend who'll give my girlfriend a lot of kisses, hugs, and comfort her when it's "that time of month", cuddle with her, hold her in my arms when we sleep, and have her fall asleep on top of me or fall asleep on my lap. But not a lot of people know that about me, I have the "always angry" face. I really want a girlfriend but I'm also VERY worried because I have a lot of medical issues, I have stage 4 kidney failure, asthma, scoliosis, I have to catheterize and leave a catheter in place when I go to sleep. Also I have a major scar all across my stomach and back. It scares me to get in a relationship because what would she think of me when she finds out. So I don't know if I can get in a relationship or not. What do you guys think? |
