Once he found out, he got super upset that I didn't tell him, and now won't talk to me. I've apologized and even told him I would pay for his car wash, but he won't accept my apologies. I only did it as a joke because people do pranks like that all the time, but he's not even wanting to be friends anymore. What should I do? |

| Question: Friend always wants food? Posted: 16 Nov 2016 05:24 PM PST Okay, so whenever I invite my friend over shes like : I haven't ate for so long..I'm so hungry! She says that RIGHT when she gets here. I'm sure every person would eat a meal before going to a guests house. Since I'm nice I ask her: What would you like? She always goes for he junk food. Chips, Ice cream, hot dogs etc. I usually give her a hot dog or an ice cream cone. 5 to 10 minutes laterm she says in a mumble voice: I'm still hungry...I then give her something else to eat. AGAIN she says she's hungry! At this point my mom notices and asks if she wants an apple, grapes, or a banana. She would nod her head no. Of course we have to then give her some more food. I'm starting to think the only reason she's asking for food is because I have stuff her mom doesn't want her to eat. I mean hot dogs and chips aren't the healthiest, the reason my mom gets them for me is because I'm not a huge eater. I still eat heathen stuff and maybe a but of junk every now and then. When I go to her house she doesn't have any think I do. I rarely ask her for something to eat because of course before I go to a friends house I eat something. If I do ask her for a snack she says how about a banana? Or something. I am not a fan of bananas at all! I don't want to seem rude so I simply say no thanks, may I have a cereal bar. So I get a cereal bar. It's really annoying me!! None of my friends do this other then her. |

I guess she's a little crazy. She's partying it up at a sorority in UVA I think. Whatever. Her mom knows about the incidents and says stuff like, "Are you trying to be a whore?" "I can't believe you wore that" "What kind of guys do you think you're attracting? Gross ones?" This is when the attractive in my opinion daughter wears semi-promiscious clothing. But that's the prob Im Not in competition with no one! She's in a toxic r.ship tht I have exasperated trying to help her out of but no avail bc she stays. She struggles w her weight185-190lbs. I say this bc I believe it attributes to her insecurities & low self esteem. Which is understandable, I get it! Thts y I give her wrds of encouragement & genuinely compliment her. My mom and I immigrated from Philippines to Belgium, cause she married my step-dad. Although I didn't know much of the language. When I was at 4th grade (I was held back a year) I got bullied. The class was always ignoring me and avoided me. One girl gossip about me on how my clothes are ugly and kept ridiculing me and saying to other people that I was dumb. So far she only whispered it to her other classmates and pretty much I heard everything. I wasn't a native speaker so I ignored and just pretended I didn't hear anything. I wanted to say on her sorry *** that she's a b** , a c*nt, a c**sucker and a motherf**. It kept taunting me for years and until now on what I should have done and said. For 2 years I've endured everything, just by sitting on the toilet every break time and endured all their insults. My parents doesn't give any bull, cause when I said that, one said that "you shouldn't get affected by it. It also happened to me." It upset me, why couldn't she just simply give me any pity.. She also gave me headaches, she also talked crap about me. She only cares about herself. I barely even see her.. My dad doesn't give 2 craps and just said he didn't believe me. |

| Posted: 16 Nov 2016 04:05 PM PST okay we've been friends for 5 years and over that time both of us have changed but she's always been overly sensitive about everything. it's gotten annoying. she's also socially retarded. most of are middle school and now high school years consist of me carrying her and helping her out. we joined volleyball together and said if only one of us was announced for the varsity team, we would decline to stay together. that was last year. she started to become more jealous because i was better than her and after someone accidentally threw a ball in her face she started to miss practice more always saying the team was better off without her and i was the best. okay? well then her mom died of heart problems and she missed school for two months and now is finally coming back. i've made varsity and thinking she was done with the team i kind of let our pack go. she started to texting me i betrayed her, no one cares and she was a real failure. she was on suicide watch for 24 hours after that. it's stressful. i know i sound selfish but really it's sickening. |

I reported an incident to my manager about something I witnessed an other employee do that was very wrong. This other employee is an absolute mess and extremely moody. However I'm terrified to face back to work as I feel I will be classed as a grass and that I'll have lost the respect of my colleagues. He moved in a week or two ago but all of us have noticed he always has a two litre bottle of cider every night by himself - he drinks it in his room and never goes out. We have a second fridge and he puts his stuff in it (it's not solely for him but he just has his stuff there), and everyday we check and there's two two litre bottles of cider there, and there'll be one in the morning (the empty one being in the bin). Even when his mate was over it was just him, his friend and I in the kitchen and my housemate was the only one of us drinking (he drank the whole two litre bottle by himself and had no shame and didn't seem weird about it). So the four of us living here are convinced he has a problem, is there anything we can really do besides report it to our property management because we don't know him that well |

Like I'm not usually the openly sensitive I mostly just get really upset inside and don't show it. I get upset over little things and I always feel like my friends are going to leave me. Like a little while ago I have this friend that just likes to make a mess out of everything. She ended up pouring her drink into my lunch and ruined it and I ended up having to throw it out. I got really upset over it even though she offered her lunch to me or buy me a whole new lunch. I just refused and didn't eat anything else till I got home. Also, today I was talking to one of my good friends and she said she was talking to my other friend about how annoying I was being (we always joke around like this that wasn't what bothered me). I have straight A's, all I do is school work and my regular job. Ive been saving up money from work for quite a while now and I almost have enough to buy driving classes, a car, insurance and gas money on my own. I'm not trying to get cocky here, but I think I'm a pretty good kid? I do what I'm supposed to- like i don't even hang out with friends anymore (parents made it too complicated). But every time i do something super small like forget to hang my jacket back up they act like im the worst kid anyone could ever be stuck with. They've told me numerous times "don't plan on driving anytime soon" or something along the lines of that for anything i want to do. Im so tired of trying so hard just to be told im not good enough and can never be rewarded with something i want. |

Without a job money is super-tight so I'm a little limited in what I can do to get out to meet new people. As said voluntary work hasn't been an option, I've tried part-time college courses too, but so far nothings worked. I literally have no friends and I'm very socially isolated, which is causing depression, not sure what to do. I'm not Christian (also I'm in the UK so church isn't a big deal here like in the US), so no church. |

| Posted: 16 Nov 2016 01:05 PM PST I'm currently in 7th grade, which is really rough knowing that there are already people who are barely teenagers, yet have suicidal thoughts, and have been cutting their wrists only at the age of 12 and 13. It honestly makes it even more sad when you throw in the fact that 3 6th graders are also cutting. Our grade has always been the obnoxious, annoying little brats who were like family to each other, and bringing a good chunk of the 6th graders along with us. Our grade went to hell right when we entered 7th, because when people started cutting, only 2-4 people knew about it at the time. Those people did nothing to try to stop them from cutting, I tried asking them to tell the office about it, they simply refused. There was only 1 known cutter at the time, who on Wattpad, was known as Pseudonymous-bosch. Their story was a breakdown of why they cut, what was going on in the hallways of school, and what was happening at school. They pretty much said that people were calling her a whore, a slut, disgusting, whatever to make her feel bad. At home, she said she never had a strong bond/connection with her family. Which is why they cut. A few days later, there was rumored to be 5 known cutters within the 6th and 7th grade. Again, I asked these people who the cutters were, they still refused to answer. Is there any way to know who these people are by their behavior or body language? I hope I'm not being too nosey, it's just that the people with the information won't use it for good. |

My roommate always skips class and she has no friends, so she's always cooped up in the room... and when I get back to try and study, she makes a point to call everyone in her contacts list and speak so obnoxiously loud that I can hear her even with headphones and music playing... she spends all her time in the room on her laptop or on her phone, watching korean dramas and laughing her *** off so loudly that it even scares me when I'm trying to study. This morning, she turned on the blender to make a smoothie while I was STILL SLEEPING... clearly there is no regard at all... she acts like she's entitled to the entire room, and her bad habits are starting to affect my experience in college. How should I approach this situation? She takes offense very easily, and I don't want unnecessary drama. |

My roommate forgets or doesn't bring her keys when we leave the house sometimes, which usually isn't an issue because I always have my keys and so does my other roommate. However, there have been a few times where we were going out to bars or a party and she's asked if we have keys because she's not going to bring hers, and I always tell her that she should take them just in case. Last weekend I went out to a party with my roommate and a few other friends. I made friends with a couple other girls there and we decided to go get food, but my roommate wanted to go home...and didn't have her keys. At first I was just like "Okay, sorry, well I'm gonna stay out longer." Then I felt bad and told her she could take my keys home, but had to either stay up til I got back, or leave the door unlocked. She didn't want to do either, and tried to get me to come home. I was annoyed and said no. She ended up just staying at another friend's place and coming back in the morning. I can tell she's been annoyed with me this week. On the one hand, I feel kind of bad. This situation has never happened before (plus she said it was an accident, not that she intentionally left her keys at home) and I guess I could have just gone home with her? At the same time, we're adults and it's not really my responsibility to let her into her own house. What do you think? |
| Question: How to be friends with the popular group and not be shy around them? Posted: 16 Nov 2016 12:19 PM PST So recently I made a new friend called Laryssa who is part of the popular group and I'm not. I'm quite shy but once you get to know me I'm really outgoing and 'funny' I guess. Anyways, since my only friend is Laryssa and Laryssa hangs out with the popular group, I'm going to have to start to hang out with them. I hung out with them today and sometimes one or two of them will talk to me in class but we aren't like friends. They won't do treat me like they treat the other people because we aren't fully friends. Anyways, how do I be friends with them and not be shy around them and just be myself? Like I said, I'm quite shy but I'm scared that I'm going to say the wrong thing and they won't like me and Laryssa playfights with a lot of boys and usually the other girls get involved with the playfighting but I don't want to because like I said I'm not their friends yet and I'm worried they'd be like diguscted that I just touched them (I used to be bullied by them and they would mock me whenever one of the people in the popular group had to work with me and if I accidently touched them or something they would be like "EWW") |

I wanted to slowly get rid of him because I knew he was crazy. Unfortunately one time when we went bathing, he asked if he could give me a hj. I asked him what the hell and told him I wasn't gay, then then took my sock and said he will put it in the water if I don't let him give me a hj, so at that instance I thought fighting an older and crazy guy would be a be a bad idea, also I though it's gonna last a short amount of time anyway, so I then let him for 10sec and then I went out and told him later over the phone that it was over and never to talk to me again and we never did. I just feel that inspite of being 12, that I should have done something better than giving him even a second, let alone 10. I was thinking I should have taken a stone and beaten him despite him being a weirdo. This was all eight years ago, and I never really think about it, but when I do I really cringe and feel I could have done better. |

Everyday she writes online about how she's so depressed, and wants to kill herself. If I tell her I'm sick-she says the same thing. For example I told Jane that I had tonsillitis (she didn't know what that was, so I explained it to her) about 5 minutes later, she writes online saying how she hates having tonsillitis, and wishes she was dead because it's too painful. Also I think she lies about having boyfriends because every week she seems to be dating someone new, and she never has photos of her and her 'boyfriend' together. People have commented on Jane's statuses saying "Shut up" or "Get a life, and stop seeking attention 24/7". Jane doesn't care about I'm saying her. If I tell her "This guy was creeping me out today" she'll be like "Yeah...OMG did I tell you...(starts rambling about her day, and doesn't bother continuing my conversation). Tbh some of the things she writes DOES offend me, and if I don't reply to her then she starts writing things about me (she doesn't say who the posts are aimed at, but it's pretty obvious who she means. For example 'I hate people who don't reply to me. I mean, **** you, I texted you 30 minutes ago, and you don't reply, but you talk to other people. Ha ha **** you ****. I don't care' How do I tell her that she needs to stop trying to get people's attention? Because I'm so sick and tired of dealing with her lies. |

My 15 year old daughter needed a ride home from school. I asked a co worker and friend Bob if he could take her home form school and he agreed. He picked her up from school and was driving her home. He asked her if she had any food for dinner at home and she said no. He ask her if she would like to join him for dinner and she immediately said yes. She thought they might go to Sizzler. He took her to Ruth Chris. She told me it was the best meal she ever had in her life. She was so excited about the great meal she called me a work and told me about it. The next day at work I thanked Bob for driving my daughter home from school and especially for the great dinner they had. My daughter said beside the great meal Bob was a lot of fun to be with. I told Bob I would pay him for my daughter's meal. He said "No Way" would he take any money. He said I was happy to be able to help you. Would it be appropriate for me and my daughter to take Bob out for a meal? The problem we can not afford anything near as expensive as Ruth Chris. |

There is a lot to learn and im a doing the best I can. I have 40 people on my case load and there are ALOT of deadline and ALOT of work and case notes. I have to coolaborate with the RN and one of the RNs keeps going to my boss and complaining to her about my work. It has happened several times now and then yesterday she raissed her voice at me and basicly told me im not cut out for the job. I have been nothign but nice other but she has made snide comments to me and basicly talked down to me sinc ei have been there.
