Nearly two years ago, we had a class together and we were seated next to each other due to the teacher assigning random spots. We didn't know each other and we next to never talked. I developed quite a bit of crush on him because he's super handsome and just really manly and dreamy, and super nice and funny and charismatic. I have severe social anxiety, so talking to my crushes is very difficult. He worked at a local grocery store and when I went there with my mom, she'd always point out how she caught him looking at me and little things like that. But we still never talked. That year ended and he graduated, and not long after, he went into the Army. I quickly moved on with my life and stopped thinking about him. It's been over a year since he first went into the Army, and as far as I know, he's back here and attending college. I haven't been thinking about him AT ALL this past year, like he's been one of the last things on my mind. But last night, I had a dream about him. It was random because I haven't been thinking about him at all, y'know? But in the dream, we kissed. I could feel it on my lips as if it were real, and my lips even tingled, as cheesy as that sounds. So my boyfriend and I were having normal conversation and the topic of relocation had come up; I live in Georgia at the moment and he lives in Massachusetts. Anyways, I was thinking about visiting Florida for a bit in order to reconnect with some family. In our conversation I was talking about I love that things tend to become more slower pace and quiet as you travel more down south and he agreed while adding "the same applies to the speech of people who live down south." I m originally from New York however my accent has faded a bit as I have lived in Georgia a bit. Just to mess around I asked him if the same thing (speech theory) also applied to me, in which he responded "Maybe." I know again this is probably silly but it just makes me wonder as he has voiced before that I m beginning to sound like a "country bumpkin" a little bit and even that I have sounded like a stupid person before. I love him with all my heart and next six months. I admit I'm pretty discrete about my interest towards him. I've gave him signals before tho, we were walking to the cafe then he saw me, stared. I looked at him and even held the door for him but he looked somewhere else and went thru the other door..? I sat at lunch alone(usally I'm with friends but I wanted to be alone, to be more approachable...) At one point he came almost walking towards me, but stopped & turned the other way.. does he not get my signals or he's not interested? He talks to lots of ppl,(girls &guys) hardly shy.. his frens stare when I talk to other guys, they even look at me then back at him and smile. This has been going on for 3 months... help? What should I do? |
