A new school and I was pretty much clueless on how to make new friends cuz u had been with the same people my whole life.. They have been saying that I am stupid and that I am a hypocrite and a racist which I am not. The problem is my cousin knows these former neighbors. My cousin and don't get along and she has told them private conversations and private secrets that I told her when we got along. Such as I went to a psychic and she told me I needed a cleansing which I didn't believe. I moved in my recent neighborhood about a year ago and everyone starts laughing at me and calling me stupid because these former neighbors have told them to start a fight with me. I don't know what to do because eveywhere I move they are going to know where I live because of my cousin. Now, Tory knows how he should be treating Leo. Instead of just telling Leo to leave and that he doesn't like him Tory decides to be nice to him. I was friends with everyone no matter what grade and so were the other kids in elementary and middle school. We would help out anyone who's being bullied or even the 5 year old who fell off the playground. They're more arrogant and mean than when we were when we were the oldest students of our schools. First of all, they roll their eyes at us and tease us for no reason and it's not just at my school - I've seen over 10+ questions from freshmen on this site having the same problem and my friends from other schools say the seniors act all high and mighty too. They make excuses for teasing younger people like how we're so loud and obnoxious and how we cry in the hallways over getting lost or breaking up with a boyfriend. I rarely even do that and I know drama happens in the hallways - in fact I've seen a few seniors crying in the hallways too and yet they say we do that "alot"? I can imagine how they'd feel when they become college freshmen and they don't know anyone but right now they act all grown. Why is it specifically them that dislike us? Some of them are more noisy than us and one day this grade 12 girl came up to me and said that we 9th graders parents give us better phones than them because we're babies? The teachers said the seniors were always tough on the freshmen every year and there's at least one issue per year related to senior and freshman bullying/drama It's been almost three months since high school started. |

A few months ago, after getting really fed up, I suggested that I no longer like this arrangement and that I can help with small things like if she has questions, but I will no longer be doing her work for her. But even after that, she constantly tries to make me do things for her, be it small or big assignments, and when I am straightforward with her, she gets insanely angry and says it doesn't hurt to help others.. like are you kidding me?! How much I have helped you in the past, no one would do that for her. She's getting me so irritated, and I told her I always help people, but it's time they do their own work. I guess I have this need to please people all the time, so I feel a bit upset when she stays mad at me. Is there anything I can do to ensure she's not mad but still not do her work? |

Something happened to my one friend and then he went home and it's been about more then a week and he still is not at school. My other friend was here two days ago but now is not at school. I got called down to the office and was questioned. My principal starts off by saying that there's been talk of drugs and who to get it from and this and that and your name was mentioned. I was confused because I wasn't a dealer or anything to them. We talk a little bit more and he asks "Have you ever tried or experimented with any drugs?" I tell him that I have before last school year because of a very bad family situation and me being an EXTREMELY anxious person I tried marijuana. He goes oh ok that's probably why your name was mentioned and he sent he back. Well today rolls around and I get called to meet with one of my teachers because my principal is away for a week. He talks to me about how there were texts and he knows about the park, so I know they ratted on me too. I tell him yes we would go to the park and play basketball and that it did happen up there. He said "Right and that lined up what they said, and I know this wasn't an ongoing thing" then that was it. I'm just worried that they will expell me but I don't know. Anyone have similar experiences or stories? |

I had to stay up every night to calm her down when she said she needed my help and she would use me to her advantage, (because I'm kinda a pushover)- homework, someone to rant all her problems to e.t.c, but she never did ANYTHING kind for me or asked me how I was. She was emotionally manipulative and honestly the worst person I have ever met (and it had nothing to do with her depression, just her personality is vain and egoistic). So then, she drifted away from me, leaving me heartbroken. After all I helped her through, she left me! Anyway, now I have got the best friends I can wish for, but my friend is saying that my ex-best friend has changed and is asking me to forgive her. I just can't do it- one night a few months ago, I was crying over her and my parents cheered me up, but I will never forget how she ripped my heart into shreds. I ****** it up by talking about her all the time, and she got majorly creeped out. After about 6 months of feeling awful about the fact that I'd made her feel so uncomfortable, I tried to kill myself, and while I was in hospital, I messaged her to ask her to tell my friends where I was, since it was the middle of school and she was the only person I know who has 4G. She was so upset she was crying and crying to her parents and all her friends because she thought it was her fault because she was 'mean to me' apparently. After that, her parents told the police to tell me I wasn't allowed to contact her. The police didn't get there in time and I messaged her, after my best friend, who she was very close with, told me how upset she was. I'd already deleted all my social media, so the only way to tell her what I wanted to say was for my friend to screenshot my message to him and send it to her, which he did, and she said she was going to show the police. At that point I just gave up. I can't even talk to her anymore. When you read the title, you thought she was moving away, huh? No, it's so much worse than that. Help, please. At high school, he was shy but I decided that he seemed cool and had lunch with him when I saw he was alone. I introduced him to my group of friends and he has been part of our "gang" ever since. My best friend and him were shipped by everyone and I had a crush on him but gave up on it. When I was depressed and tried killing myself, he was the friend I called when I gave up. He was the friend I relied on and soon he developed a crush on me. Before the feeling could get any further, I told him I wanted to just be friends since I can't love someone when I don't even love myself. After a incident, I was kicked out by my group of friends that he and I were in and am now hated by them. (I still don't know what I did wrong) After that, he avoids me and every time I try to make plans with him, he turns me down even though I know he is free. Just freaking today someone stole my bicycle ,I had secured it, I had put securities ,I had put it in proper place but still got stolen. I can't believe anyone anymore. |

Nothing wrong with texting bc that's our usual form of communication and mist of my friends live out of state. However, for birthdays, it's appropriate to call the person bc it's a special day, so more effort should be put in. So with this friend I got pissed off bc all he did was text a generic message. Yet whenever he is going through something, needs advice or just feels like talking about what's going on in the media, he sends multiple page texts. In response, I always give detailed replies and follow up days or weeks after to find out how things are going. On the other hand, when I need advice, vent, etc., I don't get thorough feedback from him or he doesn't give answers that equate to my questions or comments. I'm always left wanting more substance like I give to him. Plus, he hardly ever follows up with me on heavy issues going on in my life. So back to the point, am I overreacting to his generic texts? Shouldn't I expect him to actually place a call on my birthday, especially since it was my 30th, like all my other friends? Pls helo. |

At her home, we were met by her daughter Cindy who I had met previously. Linda ask me to stay for a dinner she would cook for me. As Linda was cooking dinner Cindy ask me if I would help her with her homework which I did. After we finished her homework, Cindy ask me if I thought her mom was cute. I told the truth, her mom was cute. Then Cindy ask me if there were guys that would want to date her mom. I told her with her mom's great beauty, yes there were lots of guys that would want to date her. That is as far as I wanted to take this conversation. However Cindy wanted to go farther. She said she wanted a dad and asked me to encourage her mom to start dating. I told her this was a conversation she should be having with her mom not me. Even though I was her mom's friend, the subject of her mom dating is none of my business. Cindy told me she would be the happiest girl in the world to call me dad. Would I ask her mom for a date? I told her that her mom was 10 years older than I was and probably would want to date someone her age. I again urged Cindy to talk to her mom about this.
