It's my cousins wedding, I am not to close to my cousin but him and his fiancé are getting married. I haven't been to a wedding in quite a while, I'm just wondering an appropriate gift budget and some ideas for the soon to be wed couple.

So I have a wedding planned for mid July currently, but due to the current global pandemic may have to reschedule. It's hard to say since the cdc ban on gatherings expires in mid may, but could go on for longer. So we were thinking of postponing till next year, but many doctors and experts say this will be an 18 month crisis, so it's looking like it may not be safe to have a wedding till 2022. I want to plan a date before my venue gets fully booked from other postponed weddings, but don't know what month is safest to postpone to 

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 6 months after being best friends for 9 years. We both want to get married to each other, but not for a few years, so the engagement would be long-ish if I proposed now. We've both discussed we'd be okay with a long engagement, but I don't know how to make sure we're both ready to make this next step without ruining the surprise of a proposal.
