He asked for Xbox name but never added. He has some of our chats saved on Snapchat too. He randomly posted in his Snapchat story that he wished he had someone who was there for him so I messaged him that although I couldn't be there for him physically because of quarantine and we live in different states that he could reach out and talk to me anytime, he said he was just feeling depressed and didn't know if he could just talk to anyone about it I said I understand that but I've been through some trauma so I'm very understanding and I'm a good listener if he ever wanted to open up to me. He said he "really appreciates that fr". A few hours later I sent him some memes on Instagram like I usually do, he read the message but didn't respond. A day later I sent him a normal Snapchat and he hasn't opened it but he's posted on Snapchat stories, Instagram and tiktok so it's kinda obvious that he's ignoring me but I don't know why?? |

With quarentine now being a thing, I've been contacting my friends online. The friend that I supposably hate has been not contacting me unless I message first, sometimes they don't even respond and based on their responses it doesn't seem like they enjoy talking to me anymore, when they obviously did before. I'm really starting to miss them and honestly, I might've started to develop a slight crush on them but I'm very confused and not sure if I like them or not. Everyone still thinks I hate them. We were affectionate and loved each other too. Near our breakup I probably wasn't the best person to be with at that time because my sister had an eating disorder and went to a residential treatment facility. It put a lot of stress and anxiety on me and I wasn't supposed to tell anyone about her either. My ex broke up with me because I think I was being distant for a while when my sister was first admitted. My ex also dumped me because she lost interest. And didn't like me that way anymore. We are still very close and we text every day (because of the pandemic we can't see each other) and it feels the same. I found out she's into one of our other guy friends and I still like her. It's hard stuff to hear when someone you love is talking about who they like. Any advice? Should I tell her it's to hard to hear? Or should I say nothing? Or should I say I'm into her? |

| Posted: 06 Apr 2020 07:19 PM PDT I met a guy and we exchanged numbers and we were both deciding on what we wanted to do for entertainment and he confessed to me that he wanted to do "everything with me" (sure we all know what that means) while confessing his attraction towards me and that he liked me the moment he "laid eyes on me" all of typical romantic movie dialogues a guy would tell a girl anything she wants to hear just so that he could sleep with her. Well needless to say I did feel some kind of way about it the first time but as the days went by and we were talking and getting to know each other we eventually agreed to meet up his house and we hooked up but every time I would hear from him is always late past 12 and it's only for sex but nothing else I'm not saying that all relationships that start with sex on the first date end this way but in a lot of cases it does. But I was very attracted to him as well but he was treating me like a "**** buddy" and I knew I should have saw the red flags but eventually it was too late. What are your thoughts? |

I was in love and cared for him and always made sure he was happy. I went out of my way to make him happy but he cheated on me once (there could be more) we broke up and then got back together before I started school because he begged me to come back and I couldn't move on or forget him because he was my first real boyfriend and we have done stuff sexually as well. the second time we broke because I found out he was cheating on me with his ex (now GF) i fought so hard with myself to come this far. It's been over 2 1/2 years and sometimes out of nowhere I will get hit by his thoughts and end up crying over what he did. I know it's stupid but I just couldn't move on completely because he betrayed me and hurt me. Now, I want to be loved by someone but honestly I know I'm not ready at all and feel like I might end up hurting them and might put them through hell because of my trust issue. I have dream about what type of guy I want to be with but then it always end up with him leaving me for someone else. In this 2 1/2 year I have been trying to love myself, eat healthy, focus on my education, my family and career. I have written down my feelings for my ex (positive and negative), and i have cried many time about this but now for the past year his thoughts hit me out of nowhere and i cry about it. Can you please tell me what I can do? should I go for professional help? Thank you. I have blocked my ex, people relating to him and his gf in social media and I can't talk about this to my family because they're very strict and I was in this relationship without them knowing. I'm not sure what else I can so because I have been putting my energy toward other stuff but even then his thoughts just come in like a wave and i end up crying about it and thinking about all of it for the rest of the day. Posted: 06 Apr 2020 05:51 PM PDT im 19 year old female and my boyfriend is 20 we been together for a year and i love him so much and i know he loves me too. i can see some of his behavior is off but idk if hes doing it out of such strong love for me or if hes being possessive / controlling , mind you this is my first love really. within the first 2 months of seeing eachother he already told me he loved me so he took my phone and blocked about 100 guys in total from all social medias. then the next month he made me delete my twitter and instagram. then the next month he started to tell me i cant go to certain places around town because he doesnt want men to see me. he gets kinda annoyed anytime im out with my friends or sisters so he told me i have to tell him anytime i leave my house and where im going and who im with. recently he told me im not allowed to go out with my friends a lot and if i do he placed a curfew of 11 for me because "why do i need to when im not being with him or going to school or work " and with work he says im not allowed to work at certain restaurants and im not allowed to work at the mall either. i just dont know if hes doing all this because he really loves me and doesnt want anything to happen to me or what. will he start being worse? has anyone gone through this before? please idk what to do because even though all this happens i just love him so much and i feel like i couldnt be without him. help anyone :( other than those things everything is so beautiful and amazing :( |

I agree with work out really well together, even to the point that one of our mutual friends say we are like their mom and dad because of how well we worked together to take care of others. I was at first shy and it was hard to get to know anyone there but I had a quick friendship with one of the workers there. He was easy to talk to and at first that's all it was. By December I had a growing crush on him and had begun to wonder if I should ask him out or make it clear I liked him. He was exactly what I was looking for in a guy; funny, sweet, nerdy, and he could take a joke. Late February we had a brownie competition at work and he suggested the winner would pay for dinner and a movie and I didn't want to get my hopes up and assume it was a date so I just decided to be blunt and ask. (Which is something I really liked I could do with him- I always share how I feel with him). He said he really wanted it to be and I told him I liked him too and we went on a date. It was absolutely perfect. Except I'm only 17 and he's 19. Everything would be okay if my parents (specifically my dad) was okay with me dating which he isn't so we decided to just stay friends in the meantime. During this quarantine we've called every night to Netflix Party or play Minecraft or watch YouTube but recently he's just ghosted me. Someone who I could share anything with has completely stopped talking to me and I would really like to know why. Can anyone explain? |
