At the end he offered me his number written down on a business card when he dropped me back off at my hotel it was to take me to and from my daughters daycare as a way to help me since i dont drive. I sent him a text and he told me he would get us in the morning then he began asking if my daughter had eatten i told him she was fine then he offered if i had eatten a few times and if not he could drop something off well the ride was at 6pm it was now 10pm when he began offering to bring us food and told me i seemed like a good mom and he wanted to ask me before i gotten out the car. Well i took the ride in morning and he never flirted with me he actually didnt speak to me until we dropped her off and i sat up front then he began telling me more about his life problems and i did aswell and we learned we are both from the same state and didnt grow up to far from one another. He told me his parents had passed and he had one relative here and that we met for a reason and then i politely said thank you and apologize for holding up his time with my venting and got out the car because i wasnt sure exactly what was going on. He later that day helped me again and a friend of mine from the hotel asked him if he thought i was cute and how old he was and how many kids he had lol and he ignored her then finally said he just met me and i was just his friend |

We hadn't been dating long & he had a bad long distance thing last year so he didn't like the idea of long distance&would never commit. The company he works for sent him in NY for summer. He said he'd come see me, but after I left didn't talk to me for weeks. When he got to the US he texted out of the blue. We hung but I was cautious bc he hadn't talked to me. He kept saying he wanted hang when he got back to NY in August & said stuff like "I wonder where you'll be in 10 years" & "I loved the time we went to..." & He still had a pic of my favorite place as the background of his phone. I mentioned I'd been going on dates bc I wanted to be honest & didn't know where we stood. After we hung he stopped responding to me & I assumed he wasn't interested so I started to see a guy my sis set me up with. I got confused about feelings& asked the british boy if we could talk. He was going away on business til August but said he might be able to make time the night before he left. He never texted so I reached out again. At first, i thought it would be fun to write letters that i would never send to him because we never really talk and he would never know how i feel, but now i wrote over 7 letters and i don't know what to do with them. He is about 2 years older than me and has recently graduated from school, so that means I still go to school but i wont seem him around the halls anymore. He's a really nice person and isn't one of those guys are like f-boys, which kinda makes me like him a bit more. Although we never talked, i somehow had the courage to give him a graduation gift and I don't know if he recognizes me to this day or not. I was driver so I didn t really drink but I m not really a drinker to begin with. Not much of a party guy. Felt a bit awkward the night because I didn t know anyone really but there was redeeming parts and overall it was good for me to do something different. | Question: How can one get closure from past crushes, unburden oneself of 'residual' feelings? Posted: 04 Aug 2018 12:54 PM PDT Has anybody ever had experience with such a situation before? You fell in love with someone during high school, but kept it to yourself (because busy with studies, having concerns of your own with adolescence and you thought your crush wouldn't fancy you anyway). After high school both of you move on and you pretty much forget. Then later in life (that is 10-12 years later), you come across them again... and realize it was not just some crush, that you may still have feelings for that person, feelings you have never experienced for anybody else. Feeling very confused, not quite knowing how to deal with it all. |

| Posted: 04 Aug 2018 12:07 PM PDT I have a friend (who is 18 years old), and he's forcing his girlfriend (who's also 18 years old) into marrying him even though they have only been dating for 3 months. The thing is though, his girlfriend doesn't want to get married yet, and she told me this so I could talk him out of getting married so soon. I tried talking him out of it, but he got mad at me and cut me up. Also the girlfriend told me that she was crying to her mother about not wanting to get married yet, and so the mother also tried to talk him out of getting married so soon. But like with me, he got mad at his girlfriend's mother, and was actually cutting her up too and was actually telling her that she doesn't know what's best for her daughter. Because of all this stuff, I'm starting to not want to be friends with this guy anymore. |

| Question: Was I in the right to threaten to beat this guy up? Posted: 04 Aug 2018 11:53 AM PDT This guy is a skinny guy from Hong Kong. He can bench 140 and I can bench press about 235-255. He can squat about 160 lbs and I can squat about 280 lbs. We did a leg workout together, and then took a walk around the gym. This skinny guy kept bugging me about the fact that I am a 23-year -old virgin. He kept telling me to talk to more girls etc. This guy could NEVER get any girls himself however. 4 years since he last had a girlfriend himself(same as me). I told him that its none of his business and tried to change the topic, but he kept bugging me. Then he began to make jokes about fuking my sister. As this guy kept yapping like a little dog non-stop about he supposedly gets girls(in China), how I am a virgin and how he wants to bang my sister , I began to get angry. I threatened to beat him up and pushed him in the indoor track when no one was looking, I then told him that I would take him outside the gym and beat him up. I never actually hit him. Was I in the right to threaten to beat this guy up? |

He came after trivia night was over, but we both go to the same school so we'd already met mutual classmates during orientation. He sat down two seats away from me, and called my name before he started reading some trivia questions off a card (even though there was another girl sitting between us who was already paying attention). The weird thing is, I'd never met him before--so I was confused that he knew my name. But the catch is, he mispronounced my name, which makes me think he looked me up in our school's facebook group before actually meeting me and just remembered my name based off what he read. But anyway, a little while later, after the girl sitting between us left, the guy moved so he was sitting next to me and started asking me where I was from and things like that. We're from adjacent hometowns, and he knew someone who went to my school. But while he was telling me this, he said "well, I don't want to call him my friend depending on what you think of him" (as if my opinion mattered). And he was joking around when talking about things at my old school. The next day he added me as a friend on Facebook, which made me happy (but that's not as surprising since we're all new to the school and making friends with our classmates). So I think I'm just trying to figure out how he knew my name before he'd met me, and whether that meant something. I'm shy, so it's hard for me to put myself out there, but I really like him! |

Why the question mark though? Lol Anyways, I know this sounds stupid but I feel like I just rejected him and I didn't want to "hurt his feelings" cause apparently I was the only one laughing in the text convo and he was serious.... |
