This might be a long story, but I'll try to make it short. I never get crushes but at the beginning of this year I met this guy and I always found him attractive. I got to know him throughout the year. He was always so sweet and really talented. I really liked him. We hung out a couple times outside of school with other friends. All my friends though he liked me and I sort of did too. At the end of the year I decided to tell him that I liked him. I have never asked someone out before so this was really scary for me, but my friends helped me out. I ended up texting him after we had hung out for while. He did not feel the same way, but he was really nice and understanding about it, which is great! I know this doesn't really sound like a problem at all, and its not. He s already emotionally and mentally abusive. Anyway, every time he gets mad at me for something minuscule he says things like "you re lucky I m not some average dude because I would ve beat your *** already" or "you re lucky I don t want to go to jail" or "sometimes I just want to throw something at you". I know they re just words but now I don t even feel safe anymore because he s starting to say these things a lot more when he never used to do anything like that in the beginning. I know they re just words but should I believe him? I don t want to actually get beat because he is much bigger than me. I threatened him back saying that if he did hit me I would defend myself in anyway and he mentioned how he was bigger than me and he would throw me against the wall. I can t make this up. He lives with me but I make the most money in the house and I think he only stays because he uses me for money. I know I sound stupid but I ve tried to get him to leave and he refuses but I don t want to call the cops because he hasn t really hit me. He s snatched things out of my hand. Does that count as abuse? What do I do. My name is the only one on the lease so I can kick him out. Does this behavior lead to physical abuse? If so how do I get him out when he absolutly refuses to leave? |

The distance is becoming more stressful for both of us. However, he does attend a boarding school in which I could attend. The school offers almost identical programs as the one to my own and I could easily slide into the schools extracurricular activities. I know it is stupid to move based on love alone but it kills me not to be able to see him. But, I am a junior in high school and would I want to make the transition to the school and have a whole new social atmosphere? Then, there is also cost, but there is financial aid. From the talks with my parents, they would support me if I expressed so. I feel like its foolish to do such a thing for love but also the thought of not being able to see him is just as bad. I know that either my or his school would prepare me for the university level. |
