Question: Is it weird to go to a nude beach with my aunt? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 12:54 PM PDT I went to a nude beach with my aunt and surprisingly there was nobody else there. My aunt and I are very close, I m 23 and she s in her 40s. We were alone at the beach so she took her clothes and bikini off and was naked but I stayed in my swim trunks. We walked and talked and eventually I took my trunks off too and we both just walked naked through the beach alone. Is that weird? I got an erection and she must ve noticed it but she didn t say anything. She s very attractive and has a nice body so I couldn t help but get an erection. Is that weird? |
Posted: 07 Jul 2018 12:44 PM PDT My neighbourhood became a hot spot for bad people to do crimes. I'm home alone a lot since my mom works full time and also, I'm an only child with no siblings around. She thinks anything dangerous could happen during the whole summer I'm at home, especially when I go on walks. During school months, my mom typically isn't home by the time school sessions are over. I'm the most scared of BIG dogs, so my mom said, maybe a Pomeranian or something. I get to pick out which one I want, etc. She is really considering an alarm dog for safety issues. Theres been a scary epidemic of kids getting kidnapped (most of them are girls my age), drugs, shady people, etc. |
Question: I misunderstood my daughter and now she’s upset? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 12:42 PM PDT My sister and I are flying out to see my daughter. She is a teacher. She's working 2 jobs during the summer and is in grad school. She kept asking us to please come see her after August 21st since her summer jobs would be ending and she has a few days off prior to going to teaching. Well, my sister and I don't want to go that late into the summer so we decided to come down August 15th - 19th. That's the week prior. My daughter got very upset with me. That's the week of her finals (she's getting her masters) and her last week of work. I explained to her that my sister and myself would not bother her during her final exams and offered to drive her to and from her 2 jobs Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. She is insisting we get a rental car. I'm not renting a car for 5 days when she has a car we can use while she's at work and school. We cannot get our money back as the trip has already been booked. She is now refusing to speak to me. What should I do? |
Question: Why do my kids say I am cruel and unfair? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 11:52 AM PDT They are 17. I treat them completely different than their older cousins aged 25-32. I do not allow them to eat snacks during the day. They both weigh 125 lbs at 5'6. Their older cousins are all 130 lbs and 5'9 they were allowed to at my kids ages. I do not allow either of my kids to drive as I refuse to teach them how. Their older cousins were allowed to learn at their age, their older cousins pick on them for not knowing how. I do not allow them to have friends. I have had them doing online homeschool since they were 9 I refuse to get either a new ssn and ID and refuse to drive them to get jobs they refuse to walk in the roads Why are they like this? |
Question: Why do random women message me death threats and threaten to kill my family on Instagram? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 11:06 AM PDT I tend to post a lot of pictures of my family on Instagram and me at the park or the pool or whatever with my young 6 year old daughter and I get probably 1-2 messages a month from random women with like 2 photos on their Instagram telling me how I probably rape my daughter and how they are going to track me down and kill my family |
Question: Why is he acting like this? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 11:03 AM PDT We broke up and when I tried going back(6 months ago) he said he wouldn't forgive me for saying something about his mom when he said something to mine first(idiotic).I didn't chase him. We ran into eachother one day i expected him to ignore but he smiled and said hi.Now he keeps looking at me, making eye contact and i caught him looking at me sneakily through the door crack. He's started coming out about the same time as I do and he said hi hesitantly and smiling. Few Sundays ago I was going down the stairs and he was behind me. He was "on the phone" saying he was leaving church and would call back which wasn't necessary since church was already over. I feel like he did it so I'd know he was behind me. We walked next to eachother he smiled and said how are you. We had a few exchanges and I asked him about his sick brother. The following week he didnt show himself inside church(he's a deacon) as I was leaving he was behind me going down the stairs. I turned around just saw a glimpse of him and turned back around didn't say hi. It was my birthday this Sunday, we kept looking at eachother, he came out at the same time as I was leaving but I got caught up with church members otherwise we'd be gong down the stairs together. I'm assuming he did this because he wanted to talk. Could he be wanting to make a move? Why wouldn't he text me though? |
Question: Why is it part of western culture to move out at 18 and make some landlord very rich? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 10:48 AM PDT When people rent apartments the money all just counts for nothing at the end of it. Isn't it better to stay with your parents and save until you have enough for a mortgage? At least then at the end of it you'll have a permanent home. |
Question: How to tell my parents I’m getting married young and “too soon”? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 09:51 AM PDT I'm marrying my fiancé in November which will be us dating for 6 months. Im not afraid it's too soon because as my grandmother (who married my grandfather after 3 weeks and loved him until the day he died fourty years later) told me when I was younger "when you know youll know". However I am afraid of my parents reactions because parents have emotionally abused me my whole life and even now at 19 I can't figure out how to tell them. Please don't tell me to change my mind or that I'm not ready because I'm afraid to tell them I'm confident in my choice I'm just afraid of their abuse. Should I email or text them or send the save the dates to them and wait for their reaction? |
Question: What's wrong with my ex girlfriend ? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 09:47 AM PDT My ex had a baby girl this morning with her fiancé I had to take our son home to see her it's his week to go home anyway. She started crying when she saw me I asked her if she was ok she said yes. She didn't cry after she had our son. She said she wasn't feeling well either. I'm kind of worried about her even though this sounds wrong. She was 19 when she had him now she's 23. Her fiancé is also her first ex she dated him before she met me she said he was very abusive to her the first time she said this time he's gotten better but she's not sure if she trust him especially with 2 kids shealso said since they got back together he hasn't hurt her at all but she's still really worried especially for her kids. When I came into the bedroom to see her and her daughter she hugged me and cried. What's wrong with her ? How can I help her ? |
Question: Will my dad be mad if he finds out about this? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 09:37 AM PDT I am a high school guy with a 26 year old step mom. Dad married a much younger woman. She is the best mom any guy can have. I just love and adore her. Beside being my mom, she is my best friend. She always is there helping me when I need help. We are very close. Most school days she will come into my room in her shorty nightgown and wake me up to get ready for school. It takes a lot of effort on my part to not get a b0ner. But sometimes my weenee has a mind of it's own and I get one. I have hidden it from her so far but I am afraid she might see it and tell my dad. Would he be mad at me for getting a b0ner or would he be understanding and it would not be a problem? He is a guy so he should understand that is what guys do sometimes. Do you think he will be OK with what I did or be mad at me? |
Question: Strict military dad? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 08:34 AM PDT My dad is in the army for 20 years, I've never met my mom Are all those rules necessary? I know for a fact none of my friends have any of these rules. I'm 16 •There will be no crying or whining for any reason or a reason will be issued to you. •The food provided in this house will be eaten without complaint, if you don't like it take a knee, face out and drink some water. •If you don't dress age-appropriately, your "new" clothes will consist of my old (altered-especially-for-you) fatigues. •There will be zero tolerance when it comes to disrespect, so think about it before you give me a reason •You getting an education isn't open for discussion … ever. If your grades aren't satisfactory, remedial action will soon follow •If I didn't give you an attitude when you were born then you will not have one. •Know that God gave me patience, but only so much. •Remember it can always be worse, don't make me prove it. •I don't drink alcohol, smoke or do drugs, so guess what? Hello?! You don't either. •Plan of action: if there's anything you disagree with on this form, keep it to yourself until you move out. •While being yelled at, basically any reaction is forbidden. Crying will lead to "I'll give you something to cry about"-type reactions, anger and accidental smiling were obviously out as well. •"yes." "Yes what?" "Yes, sir." My father would run me through this refrain every time I failed to say that final magic word "Sir". |

Question: Should I give money to my Nephew as a college graduation present? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 07:17 AM PDT My Nephew graduated college with a degree in civil engineering and already has a job. My sister told me he makes $55,000 starting salary. He works close to home and is living at home this summer. I am semi-retired and care for my twin brother who is on disability. We don't have a lot of income and just paid for some unexpected home repairs as well. Anyway this afternoon I'll see him at my sister and her husbands annual summer barbecue for all their friends and it's also sort of a graduation party for Nephew, my sister told me a week or so ago. I have not had time to get him a present. Should I just stick a fifty dollar bill in a card and give it to him? Is that enough? Is it lame? What should I do? |
Question: Hypocrite Black people? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 06:22 AM PDT I'm a guy 30 and i'm Black myself. And yeah you can be a hypocrite regardless of ethnicity. But Black people tend to be hypocrites. We protest and claim that we aren't treated fairly. However, we treat other Blacks like crap. If they don't look or act a certain way, they get treated like crap. Family treat you like crap with you are the scapegoat of the family. My own family gossip about me. My dad and sister talks about me,though he claim they don't. But they are always doing things. If i am around, they get quiet, and i act like they don't want to be around me. Generally i keep to myself. I do what i can for people, but it isn't appreciated. Dad ask me to do things for him, but treat me like crap. He barely speak to me, but talks and laugh with my sister, and everybody else. I don't trust him, as i know he is ashamed and hate me. I know my sister hates me also, she doesn't speak and acts as if she is better.Despite the fact i have done things for her. People hate me when i'm happy, blame me if i'm not. |
Question: Why does my 17 year old sister have really small hands compared to other family members? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 05:41 AM PDT |
Posted: 07 Jul 2018 05:32 AM PDT I told my sister i wanted to open up my own home daycare and the first thing she said was who would bring their kids to you? (nobody) this really hurt my feelings. She don't believe in me. I'm only 32 I can't talk to my mom about my dreams or things i want to accomplish cause she doesn't believe in me either. My brother always have sarcastic comments when i mention them to him or laughs. I remember when i applied for a job at the Post Office and told my mother she said idk why u wasting those ppl time cause u aren't qualified. It hurt! I use to ride around in my car by myself praying and crying. I got the job and worked there 5yrs. I told my mom I wanted to purchase a home and she told me basically the same thing i wasn't qualified and wasting my time. Well i qualified and got me a home. I want to go work for the IRS but don't really know how to drive to the city the inter views are going to be held in. I asked my sister would she ride with me since she's familiar with that particular city and she said yes. But now has said she doesn't know cause she might have something else to do. I don't understand cause she drove to Alabama to see one of her friends. I really need my family support cause i honestly don't have any friends really. It's just me and my toddler. I don't go anywhere but home and work. I'm asking how to handle the situation of not having my family support. I'm not here to get advice if i should or shouldn't go to my interview nor am i going to Alabama. I clearly stated my sister with to Alabama not that I needed to go there. Please read carefully b4 responding and remain respectful in your answering. No need for name calling |
Question: What is wrong with my mother? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 04:39 AM PDT I'm 25 years old and have 2 children. The father of my children committed sucide roughly 2 years ago in front of me this upcoming November. I am under an immense amount of stress currently living at my parents house. Going through the mourning process as well as witnessing my recovering alcoholic mother cheat on my father through affair websites. I'm completely emotionally drained. The other day though I witnessed my mother tell my 4 year old daughter that she was a baby her HER tummy. She saw me right after she said it and laughed it off and said " I told her she was a baby in my tummy, sick right?" I said nothing. What is wrong with my mom any advice please. |
Question: How to help someone with a drug problem? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 04:33 AM PDT The question is more how do you kick someone out with a drug problem. I would love to help out my brother but it really is too late. I need my brother to move out. When I say need, I mean need like you need oxygen. He is a massive burden on the entire family, he's nearly 20, and will not get the hell out of our house. My parents own the house, but the will not take any proper steps to actually remove my brother from the home. Is there anything a minor can do in order to remove him from the home? He is an avid drug abuser, heavy heavy stuff. I am aware I could call the cops but I would really prefer that he didn't end up in jail, but I'm afraid he will probably end up there anyway. I am coming up on my last year of high school and can no longer afford to take care of the multiple people in my family with alcohol/drug problems. I now have to make decisions for my parents who will not take care of the ongoing problem. Multiple times I have recommended rehab, but as he is 20 years old, he can leave rehab as he pleases. I too have struggled with addiction, and even though I still struggle, I have recognized the effects of drug use in my life and no longer choose to associate myself with those kinds of things. I can not seem to explain to my brother that he too could also have a good life while sober, but he doesn't understand. I am just looking for answers. If anyone could help me even a little bit I would really really really appreciate it. |
Question: How to convince senior father to let me renovate house? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 01:22 AM PDT My dad house is extremely unkept and in my opinion gross. Unfortunately due to my age and me going to college I cant leave (I don pay rent). I have a full time job that pays well and I can easily redo the bathroom and bedrooms. The bathroom is disgusting. It s just subflooring. The wallpaper is coming off. The walls on bottom are rotted. Tub is gross. I cant walk barefoot in the house. I have living like this. Whenever I try to fix up the house he gets mad. I tried throwing out the smelly couch the cat peed on which I cleaned he got so mad. Theres stains from the kerosene heater on the walls he wont clean (we haven t had kerosene in 3yrs). I m tired. Tomorrow I m doing my room. HOW DO I CONVINCE HIM TO LET ME FIX UP THE HOUSE. he yells and says the house is a mess but wont let me fix it. Why. He knows I m doing my room tomorrow (paint sparkle etc) and he says you know it s not easy. you act like it s easy. Btw hes 71.. ok so help |
Question: How do I tell my mom I'm moving out? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 01:12 AM PDT I'm the last one to leave the nest out of 3 sisters, but it's not for good. My sisters think that my mom and I need some time apart from each other and I agree. I'm 25 and she treats me like I'm a teenager. We think I should move in with my sister for at least a month. If i come home late, she's texting me asking if I know what time it is and usually it's because I'm at the gym. I don't usually stay out late for any other reason. I understand that she can't always sleep when I'm not home because she worries, but I can't help that my sister (who I go to the gym with) gets off work really late sometimes and so we end up being at the gym until 2 or 3am. I pay every single one of my bills (car insurance, car payment, cell phone, gas, gym, etc.) and I even pay her $250/month for rent, which I know isn't much but at least it's something. I work at least 50 hours a week and am still in school, yet I can't seem to please her. I don't want to move out for good because I don't want her to be alone, we don't have any family here. And she's probably moving to another country in a couple years. I just want to experience life on my own, but I don't know how to tell her without breaking her heart. Any advice please? |
Posted: 07 Jul 2018 12:50 AM PDT I haven't seen my aunt in 13 years because my cousin abused me as a young child. Afterwards I cut all contact with his family (including my aunt) for over a decade. I'm meeting her this week and I'm freaking out bc I don't know how to approach her after such a long time and a difficult situation. I dealt with many repercussions due to my cousin's actions and also have no idea how to even talk to her. The situation wasn't really preventable from her standpoint, except that she could have been more understanding after. I'm most upset that she never made her son take responsibility and instead denied that anything ever happened. I found out recently that she's been trying to contact me for years, except that my parents haven't allowed it. She also knows about the financial and emotional consequences my family has had to face because of her crazy son. I barely know her or remember what she looks like. She's a complete stranger to me. I don't know how to start a conversation with her that addresses the 13 year gap. Any suggestions? |
Posted: 07 Jul 2018 12:40 AM PDT I've done something bad and lied twice to my parents. They will now take away my phone, job, and my ability to leave the house. My mom tells me that I'm not showing respect to her, that I feel as if I'm entitled. I also found out that my parents are checking my phone bills every week to see who I've been talking to! They have my location, they always call me, and they always text me, telling me to send them proof of where I'm at! My mom also said that I'm not being remorseful that I'm planning something. I know that I've done something bad and I know that I have to respect them, but to be honest I can't bring myself to be remorseful and I can't bring myself to be respectful. My mom asks me 'what's your plan? Huh?' I don't have any plans, except move out when I can and go to college. I can't exactly do that if they take away my job! I know that I should be punished for what I did, but to me, taking away what makes me cope in life doesn't make me feel better and it won't really help me become more 'respectful' or 'remorseful' it won't certainly bring me closer to them! The more they do this, the more I will probably go against them.... I want some privacy too and even just. A bit of freedom! I'm just so confused and angry, I don't know what to do...help? |
Question: Should I pay a rent to live at my dad's place? Posted: 06 Jul 2018 11:07 PM PDT I currently live at my dad's place. And now he is asking me to pay him a rent, which is obviously lower than market price or than what I would have to pay if I lived on my own. I am just bothered by the fact that a father would ask their son to pay a rent. Makes it look very much like business to me. Should I accept? And if I refuse should I leave? |

Posted: 06 Jul 2018 07:58 PM PDT A lot of fights, being pressured, going overweight and having no one to talk to about my problems... whenever I'm over there I cry and hurt me.... I love my 2 younger sisters but my mom always compares me to my middle sister and my dad calling me dirty I keep having these dreams and now all I can think about is being sad..... what do I do? I'm possibly going to Therapy but over where I live I'm always sad... I'm not sad around my dad's step mom and real dad and I'm not sad around my mom's younger sister and step mom but I am sad always around the people who I'm pretty sure I love. |
Question: Black moms are the worst!? Posted: 06 Jul 2018 07:42 PM PDT Before you start jumping down my throat, let me start off by saying I'm black myself! My mom is currently deceased. I haven't cried about her dying because I don't miss her at all. She was abusive like the typical black moms. Thank god for my father. Way more loving, supporting, and caring. |
Question: Why did he start to hate me after I moved into a different home? Posted: 06 Jul 2018 07:11 PM PDT Last year I met my ex and got pregnant, at the time I was living in an apartment that a family friend offered me to stay in for 6 months because the lease was almost up. Eventually October ( the lease date) came and I had to move, I was getting close to my 3rd trimester at the time and I would have nowhere to go because he refused to live together so my nurse offered me to interview at a maternity home in the same town. I only had two options it was either that home or move 45 minutes away back with my Mom who had no room for a baby and I to live in. So I chose the home and moved in, for some unknown reason he was PISSEd. He snapped one night and told me that our relationship would ruin something in Mexico, it was something along the lines of that and that he doesn't like my personality. After some time I couldn't spend the night as much anymore because the home has rules about curfew because of the kids. Then he started using drugs and coming around higher than giraffe *** and claiming it was my fault because he was " lonely" our son was born and he continued to do the same **** so I ended it. He's now incarcerated and I'm filing for full custody of the baby that he's only seen 3 times since he was born. I feel like he did it all deliberately. |
Posted: 06 Jul 2018 06:08 PM PDT Are they going to delay our purchase of the badge or stop us because of the lack of an adults precence? Also I'm actually 15 and my sibling is 13 years old I'm going to purchase the 6-13 badge, are they going to notice? |
Question: What do I do about my emotionally abusive parents? Posted: 06 Jul 2018 04:18 PM PDT I come from an African household. I'm 14, a girl and the oldest of my siblings. In my culture, girls are the ones to clean and do the work and the older siblings are suppose to be the 2nd parents. From as long as I can remember my mom has been emotionally abusive. Only to me. She would call me useless and not capable of anything. But nowadays she would not talk to me at all and will only ask me if I washed the dishes. Same to my step father. She recently took my clothes and threw most of them away just because one of my dresses were on the floor. She tells at me all the time. She tells me that I'm a girl and I have to get used to cleaning and cooking. I do stuff to make them happy just for a moment. I also drew her a painting and she ripped it up and told me to get back to cleaning. My stepdad is worse. He's more physical. He threw spoons at me when my brother spilled something. He said I should have cleaned it up for him! I could write a book describing the things they've done. The treat me like a slave. Sometimes I wish I was a boy. I'm tired of being hurt like this. And I'm too scared to tell. What can I do? |
Question: Is it wrong for my parents to kick me out once I get married? Posted: 06 Jul 2018 03:55 PM PDT I am 19 and am engaged to my boyfriend of one year. We are planning on getting married this summer but my parents said once I'm married, I will have to rent my own apartment and live in with my (future) husband. |
Question: Can I legally kick this woman out of the house? Posted: 06 Jul 2018 03:36 PM PDT Me and my brother both live in our fathers house together. My father works most of the time so he's barely home. I'm 19 and I work graveyard shifts and sleep during the daytime. My brother who's 25 and unemployed brings this 18 year old homeless girl to our house almost everyday because he's lonely and desperate and can't find a girl his age to talk to. In fact she even tried to get with me and claims to only hang out with my brother because "she's concerned about his well being." But I'm convinced she's only using him just so she could have a place to crash and chill. Meanwhile my brother tries to act like he's the shít now cause he's finally talking to a girl. But my main problem is that whenever I try to sleep, they're being obnoxiously loud and acting childish. And I have already told them twice before to keep it down. I'm definitely in no mood to put up with this but the last thing I want to do is beat somebody up or smack this girl across the face. Not only that, the night she graduated highschool, she came over to our house, got drunk and threw up on our living room rug. I wasn't there to see my fathers reaction or what excuse my brother came up with to explain the vomit on the rug. Me and my brother don't get along either so this only fuels the tension between us. Right now my brother left and the girl is using the kitchen to make herself food. Do I have any authority to kick this girl out? I live here but so does my brother. What can I do about this situation? |
Question: Overprotective cousin? Why? How do I make him stop? Posted: 06 Jul 2018 03:00 PM PDT I am a 22 year old girl & my cousin is a little older. He seems a little overprotective and he said that "he needs to take care of me since I am his baby cousin" which I don't understand why. He is not happy with things I do so he is always asking about my dating life, my religion stuff, etc.. and yeah I did lie about some dating stuff (asks me if I love a guy) and religious stuff to make him stop...I think he is scared I will do stuff his sister did but why does he do this to me..he seems to feel like he needs to always save me etc..i don't know if I should just stop talking to him? Does he need a girlfriend or something? I don't love my cousin like a brother and I don't know why he would love me. He tells me he loves me like a cousin and I don't understand what that even means. Seems bored or something..idk I don't feel the same way about him cause I don't care what he does everyday..why does he care so much? I feel so bad 😣but I want to just ignore him altogether |
Posted: 06 Jul 2018 07:49 AM PDT I was late to leave for work and I forgot to lock the bathroom door and my teenage son walked in just as I was getting out of the shower. I quickly got a robe on but not before he said "Wow mom, you really have a beautiful body". It did not embarrass him any but it sure did me. He has not said a word about this since it happened. Should I just forget about it or should I tell him that was not an appropriate comment to say about his mother? He acts like it was not a big deal. |
